IDENTIFIKASI KENYAMANAN TERMAL RUANG PADA RUMAH BETANG ENSAID PANJANG DI KABUPATEN SINTANG
Traditional architecture is an architectural form that passed down from one generation to the next. Traditional houses are formed through a long time that are responsive to the environment. The traditional houses adapt with the environment to increase their level of comfort and reduce disturbances for a comfortable living. This study aimed to identify the thermal comfort of Betang Ensaid Panjang, which is the traditional Dayak houses in Sintang Regency. Identification of the thermal comfort was done by measuring the influential thermal variables; air temperature, humidity, wind speed, the clothing insulation and the metabolism at Betang Ensaid Panjang. As a building that located in a tropical climate, an analysis of the tropical architecture theories was carried out at Betang Ensaid Panjang. The results of the analysis become the hypothesis that the building applies the principles of humid tropical architecture. Based on PMV and PPD analysis by ASHRAE 55 Standard, it can be identified that the Betang Ensaid Panjang have different levels of thermal comfort in ruai, bilik and tingkak at different times. In the morning it can be identified as slightly cool, in the afternoon and evening, can be identified as slighltly warm and at night, it can be identified as neutral or comfort
LOW RISE APARTMENT DI KOTA PONTIANAK DENGAN PENDEKATAN RESPONSIF PANDEMI
Massive development in almost all cities including Pontianak City has resulted in limited land. However, the demand for housing is increasing due to population growth. The residential trend is now moving into a vertical building. One of them is an apartment. Tokazhanov et al. (2020) explained that during the pandemic, 90% of cases infected with COVID-19 were in places with dense human concentrations. In Pontianak City, the Government established the Implementation of Community Activity Restrictions (PPKM) to reduce the number of COVID-19 cases, which requires people to completely change their activities at home. This makes it necessary to adapt housing to improve the quality of life of residents during the pandemic. The type of apartment designed is a low rise apartment that focuses on comfort and living experience. The design location is in Pontianak City, where economic growth is increasing, thus providing opportunities for people to buy better and more efficient housing. Low rise apartments can also accommodate businessmen who visit Pontianak City. The purpose of the design is to create a low rise apartment that can respond to the needs for security, health, and social interaction of residents during a pandemic. The design method uses the J. Christopher Jones method. The result of the design is a residential design in the form of a low rise apartment that can respond to changes in lifestyle and needs during the pandemic
PERANCANGAN KAWASAN GELANGGANG OLAHRAGA DI KOTA SEKADAU
The sports arena is a place to do sports activities. The existence of the arena has an important role so that the goals of exercise can be achieved. In Sekadau Regency at this time the place is still not available, so that services for the community in Sekadau Regency have not been fulfilled to the fullest. Meeting the needs of community infrastructure services and improving human quality is one of the goals of designing the arena building. The existence of a sports arena in Sekadau Regency not only supports the community in exercising, but can be used outside of sports activities. The sports arena has more than one activity that is accommodated so that it has the potential to become a center for gathering public activities and becoming an icon of the city. The design of the sports arena area aims to facilitate sports activities, public spaces and become an icon of Sekadau City. In this design the glass box method is used to support the design objectives. The results of the design of the sports arena area in the form of areas and buildings that elevate locality values, form an area and building design that displays characteristics and is only found in Sekadau City
PERANCANGAN TAMAN BUDAYA KABUPATEN SAMBAS
The traditions inherent in the Sambas community make this area thick with customs in people's lives. The development of human civilization is created over time, as is the case with the people in Sambas. Preservation of culture has started in the past and has been preserved until now. Art and Culture that continues to be maintained over time begins to change even more, worse, many are forgotten. This sustainability has an impact on the values of the community, which is reflected in their daily life. Art and Culture is the identity of the community, it is important that efforts are made to maintain it. As an area that upholds the values of traditional arts and culture in the social life of the city of Sambas, it does not yet have a centralized place to accommodate the traditional activities of the Sambas area. There are no supporting facilities to carry out activities and introduce Arts, Culture and Traditions to the community specifically for present and future generations. Concentration of place to continue to preserve this tradition is needed. Therefore, the existence of the Cultural Park aims to accommodate the cultural activities of the Sambas people. The design of the Cultural Park will not only make it a place for the arts but will become a hierarchy of identity for the Cultural and Arts buildings that exist in this city and aims to reintroduce traditions that have begun to be abandoned by the times. Integrating the content contained in Art, Culture and Tradition preserved with Architectural values, in responding to problems, thinking about conformity to the environment. Through the application of Neovernacular Architecture, it is hoped that it can bring back the Art and Cultural Traditions of the Sambas community
GALERI SENI DAN BUDAYA DAYAK KALIMANTAN BARAT
Art and culture were born from human civilization. Humans must of course maintain and preserve the arts and culture inherited from their ancestors. A pattern of thought is needed so that art and culture are maintained and developed. In West Kalimantan, especially the Dayak tribe, they have various artistic and cultural potentials with the emergence of various agendas in the life of the Dayak group. This paper aims to create a recreational and educational forum that represents the agenda of Dayak art and culture. The method used in designing the West Kalimantan Dayak art and culture gallery in Kubu Raya Regency consists of various stages such as the idea stage to the stage of collecting data related to the required design needs. The result of the design of the West Kalimantan Dayak art and culture gallery in Kubu Raya Regency is a single building with the basic form of a long house and an area that represents the environment of the Dayak tribe through forest and river parks with the main function of the gallery and supporting facilities in it. The West Kalimantan Dayak art and culture gallery area displays the functions of promotion, education, recreation, and information that is able to support various arts and presents various distinctive reflections on Dayak architecture in West Kalimantan
KAWASAN WISATA PANTAI SINAM DI KECAMATAN PEMANGKAT
Sambas Regency is an area that has a coastal area stretching from the Semelagi area to the Temajuk Coast region which borders Malaysia. Sinam Beach is one of the tourist attractions, precisely in Pemangkat District. The beach is often visited by tourists on weekends for recreation and relaxation. This Sinam Beach Tourism Area is very worrying because natural disasters often occur in the form of tidal floods, strong winds and coastal abrasion, the inability of the community and local government to utilize and manage existing potentials optimally to create tourist attractions. The purpose of this design is to produce a plan and design for the Sinam Beach Tourism Area in Pemangkat District which can meet the needs of tourists and utilize the potential of natural resources.The concept used is green open space by the beach. The method used in the design is to find ideas, collect data and analyze data. The design of the Sinam Beach Tourism Area creates a tourist zone, namely land tourism, water tourism and mangrove tourism.. Supporting facilities in the design are a tourist information center,management office, public toilets, promenade, floating restaurant and UMKM area
PUSAT MODIFIKASI OTOMOTIF KOTA PONTIANAK
Understanding automotive is a science that reviews various types of transportation that use machines as a source of propulsion. Modifications generally change, add, and repair certain parts that aim to improve quality, features and style. A modification center was built to provide space for creativity or hobbies for communities, organizations and individuals. The modification center must also pay attention to the things needed by the modifiers, especially customers/immigrants. The condition of the modification workshops in Pontianak City are generally only found in homes that do not meet the standards in designing modification workshops in general so that the services are not necessarily good, such as exhibition rooms, workshop activity rooms, management rooms, and service rooms in handling waste. Various automotive that can be modified such as cars, motorcycles, and others. Where they want to update or add the desired variations. West Kalimantan, especially Pontianak, holds many events for car and motorcycle modification contests. The event is usually held at Rumah Radakng and Qubu Resort by collecting, presenting, compiling and analyzing data in order to obtain an approach to planning and design programs to be further used for program preparation and basic concepts of planning and design of modification workshop
GEDUNG PERTUNJUKAN SENI AUDIO VISUAL DI PONTIANAK DENGAN PENDEKATAN FOLDING ARCHITECTURE
Audio-visual art is an art that combines motion, tone, and visuals that is received by senses of sight and hearing, such as dance, music, and theater. The existence of dance, music, and theater arts in Pontianak is still anticipated by society with more than 1,000 visitors to the Taman Budaya Pontianak per month, but it can’t accomodate people on large capacity. Art makes artist want to express their works through a performance, this triggers the need for a new art building in Pontianak to support art performance activities for artists. The design of the Auditory Visual Art Center in Pontianak is located on Jalan M. Sohor using five stages design methods that contain ideas, information, analysis, synthesis, evaluation, and optimization. The function of the Auditory Visual Art Center in Pontianak is divided into three, namely primary as performances and rehearsals, secondary as commercial and public facilities, and supporting as management. The design implements folding architecture approach which have the same characteristics as art that reflects a form of creativity, flexibility, and dynamics. The result design of Auditory Visual Art Center in Pontianak is consisting one building mass with three section of areas, which called area of artists, performances, and management
PERANCANGAN PASAR RAKYAT DI KECAMATAN BEDUAI
The market is a place where the place is intended as a place to meet sellers and buyers to carry out buying and selling activities of various consumer goods by conducting a bargaining process. The people's market is important for the economy, social and welfare of the people. The people's market besides having a major role in economic activity, also has other roles such as in a social role. Beduai sub-district is located in Sanggau district, West Kalimantan, this certainly does not escape social and economic activities. So far, traders are still having trouble finding a place to sell their wares because there are no people's market facilities in this sub-district. Therefore, it is necessary to build people's market facilities to meet the needs of the community, besides that the existence of the people's market also provides a place for traders, especially when the harvest season arrives. The design of the people's market in Beduai sub-district is an idea in solving community problems in meeting their daily needs, as well as economic activities that still depend on other sub-districts. Various problems that we often encounter in people's markets such as slums, dirty, muddy, smelly, and stuffy. The resolution of these problems is solved by the design method using five stages which include; initiation, preparation, proposal submission, evaluation and action
PONTIANAK WEDDING CENTER
Marriage is a precious moment for every couple, where they formalize their bond legally according to law, norms, and religion. At a wedding, the venue for the event is one that must be prepared so that the event can run smoothly. Weddings in the city are often held in hotels or multi-purpose halls. This is due to the limited land area of the house so that it is less accommodating to accommodate guests and vehicle parking spaces in addition to showing self-existence or prestige. In addition to the venue for the wedding, the selection of makeup, clothing, wedding decorations, documentation, entertainment, food and drinks for invited guests is something that needs to be prepared. Of the many preparations needed to provide business opportunities in the field of wedding services and supplies. For this reason, the design of the Pontianak Wedding Center is expected to meet the needs of the community and service providers in wedding equipment. The Pontianak Wedding Center design method consists of several stages, namely the idea stage, the data collection stage, the analysis stage, then the synthesis and finally the design. In designing the Pontianak Wedding Center using a contemporary architectural approach. From the design of the Pontianak Wedding Center, it produces a place for weddings and marriage ceremonies, meeting places, management offices, thematic shopping facilities and other supporting facilities. The design of the Pontianak Wedding Center will be a new idea where the wedding building has a thematic shopping center in it
