TIPOLOGI ATAP BANGUNAN KELENTENG DI KOTA PONTIANAK
Kelenteng is a place of worship for Confucianism, Buddhism, and Taoism, also known as the Tri Dharma Worship Place (TITD). The Kelenteng has its own characteristics that distinguish it from other places of worship. One of the most easily noticeable characteristics is on the roof of the Kelenteng. The roof of the Kelenteng generally uses the traditional Chinese roof shape. The shape of the temple building roof varies due to climate factors and the acculturation of its original regional architecture with local architecture. The diversity of roof shapes can also be seen from the principles of arranging the shapes found in the roof. This research was conducted using a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Research data collection was carried out by field observation and literature study. Field observations were carried out by documentation and sketching. The sketch results will be digitized to obtain the shape of the temple roof. The final result of this research is to obtain the typology of the roof shape of the Kelenteng in Pontianak City. The Kelenteng roof in Pontianak City consists of two types, namely a combination of hip and gable roof (Hsuan Hsan) and a gable roof (Ngang Hsan). The dominant roof type used in Kelenteng in Pontianak City is the Hsuan Hsan roof type with a curved roof tip

The existence of ethnic Chinese has existed for a long time and is inseparable. The Kakap River area, especially in the old temple area, Sungai Kakap Village, Sungai Kakap District, Kubu Raya Regency is one of the areas inhabited by many ethnic Chinese. Through the potential and problems that exist in the region, it is necessary to make efforts to preserve culture because Chinese culture in West Kalimantan is currently one of the ethnicities that has been recognized and has developed for a long time. Therefore, it is necessary to build a Chinese Cultural Center as a form of development of culture and art and improve the image of the region. Based on potential and problems, the five-step method in design is used by utilizing information from data collection obtained, and supported by clear analysis and synthesis of concepts. This design has the main function as a performance of Chinese cultural and artistic activities as well as supporting functions as building support functions such as cultural research, seminars, and recreation. The result of this design is a design building consisting of a new mass area and an existing mass area with the function of worship, activities, and preservation of Chinese culture. The design theme uses a neo-vernacular architectural approach that adapts to the pattern of the surrounding environment as original architecture built by the local community with a new concept that applies cultural and environmental elements expressed in the form of architectural physical.
PERANCANGAN PASAR SENI DI KABUPATEN KUBU RAYA
West Kalimantan, the XIXth Tourist Destination Area, is home to arts and culture as its main attractions. However, there is no dedicated space for marketing artistic products and organizing artistic activities. So a design is needed that can support tourism potential in the trade sector in the form of the art market. The basic aim of this design is to produce a design for the art market in Kubu Raya Regency as a forum for buying and selling products and organizing art activities. The design process involves data collection, analysis, synthesis, and pre-design drawings and detailed engineering designs. The design uses a city walk concept to maintain continuity with the surrounding environment. The result is an area with three building masses: the reception building, the workshop and gallery building, and the art market building. These buildings are connected by a pedestrian path, offering facilities like creative art space, picnic area, street food area, and amphitheater. The building's shape adapts to the branding of Kubu Raya Regency, Rising Kubu Raya, applied to the facade with secondary skin with a muare wave motif
MASJID APUNG DI DESA SUNGAI KAKAP, KABUPATEN KUBU RAYA
The mosque is the center of life and activities of Muslims, both for carrying out ukhrawi worship and worldly worship. Along with the times, mosques have become one of the choices in the realm of tourism, namely religious tourism. Religious tourism is a tourism sector that continues to grow in Indonesia, where the majority of the population is Muslim and has a culture of religiosity and culture. The development of mosques in Indonesia and the world shows an increase. Apart from being a place of worship for Muslims, mosques have various functions, both to carry out ukhrawi worship and worldly worship. Sungai Kakap Village is one of the villages that has the potential in the form of an estuary which is one of the national shipping lanes that is still in the development stage (Perda Kubu Raya Number 7 of 2016). The high tolerance between tribes, races, and religions in this region makes acculturation between cultures occur naturally, despite the diverse composition of the population of races and religions. This area is a strategic area in economic and tourism aspects. One of the tourism sectors that has the potential to be developed is religious tourism. The number of availability of worship facilities when compared with the number of adherents of Islam in statistical data, it can be concluded that the distribution of worship facilities in the form of mosques in this area has not been evenly distributed. Therefore, the object of design is "Design of the Floating Mosque Area in Sungai Kakap Village" as a fulfillment of mosque facilities to facilitate worship activities and create tourist attractions that can become a magnet for the region. Contextual Architecture approaches and lighting strategies are used so as to produce a solemn perception in worship and create iconic buildings that can make the area a tourism magnet
SEKOLAH LUAR BIASA DENGAN PENDEKATAN BIOFILIK DI KOTA SINGKAWANG
Education is essential to every citizen's existence. It does not exclude those with impairments (differently abled). Article 5 of The Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 20 of 2003 states, "Citizens with physical, emotional, mental, intellectual, and/or social disabilities shall have the right to special education." Special education is an education reserved entirely for pupils with disabilities (differently abled), including people who are blind, people who are deaf, people with quadriplegia, or people with psychiatric disabilities (mentally disabled). Certainly, every location contains individuals with disabilities. In order to fulfil the mandate of Article 5 of Law No. 20 of the Republic of Indonesia from 2003, people with disabilities deserve an education infrastructure that meets their needs. Due to this, special needs schools must be specifically constructed to provide teaching-learning activities that can aid in the development of the student's potential. The biophilic concept is one of a number of concepts that can be used to generate the aforementioned situation. Biophilic is an architectural idea that fosters a harmonious link between humans and nature. The objective of biophilic design is to create an environment that is conducive to the physical and mental growth of humans. Biophilic is employed because it may establish tranquility and calm through the building's connection to nature, and the application of this design is anticipated to improve the quality of education for students
PERPUSTAKAAN UMUM DAERAH KABUPATEN KUBU RAYA DENGAN PENDEKATAN ARSITEKTUR TROPIS MODERN
Each year, less than 1% of the population visits the Kubu Raya Regency Regional Public Library. This is due to the less strategic location of the library. In addition, the library space does not meet standard space requirements. Due to its geographical location, Kubu Raya Regency is included in a tropical climate with average temperatures and high rainfall. Therefore, a design method that can be adapted to the climate is needed to achieve comfort in the building. The purpose of the design of the Kubu Raya Regency Regional Public Library is to meet the comfort and space needs of the users by applying a modern tropical architectural approach. The design is done through several stages, starting from data collection, analysis, concept synthesis and design. The result of the design is the creation of a library building that is comfortable and can meet the needs of its users. The comfort of the building is achieved through a good lighting and ventilation system by creating an open space in the center of the building, making many openings, applying a cross ventilation system, adding a secondary skin and sun shading. To meet the needs of the user space, it is realized through the provision of space that is adjusted to the results of the analysis of the user space requirements and the standard space requirements for district / city public libraries. The building is rectangular in shape with a pitched roof. The side of the building is covered with a secondary skin of ACP and a sunshade with batik motifs typical of Kubu Raya
PUSAT KEGIATAN MAHASISWA UNIVERSITAS TANJUNGPURA
Currently, the Student Activity Center (Pusgiwa) in Tanjungpura University faces both physical (structural) and non-physical (user habit) issues that makes the Pusgiwa area ineffective for student activities. The facilities are inadequate and misused. This final project aims to design a more adequate Student Activity Center for Untan students, incorporating an open concept while considering contextual aspects and the physical and non-physical issues experienced in the previous design. The design methodology employed is Richard Whitaker's eight-step design process, encompassing five steps in design and three post-design steps. Richard Whitaker's five design steps include initiation, definition, preparation, analysis, and synthesis. The three post-design steps consist of temporal evaluation, alternative solution evaluation, and final reevaluation. The outcome of the design is an open Pusgiwa area that fulfills the student’s activities needs. The new design addresses both the physical and non-physical issues found in the old Pusgiwa, providing facilities that better suit the needs of Untan students and a system accommodating the habits of the users, including security, cleanliness, and access for student fundraising efforts. The open design is implemented to foster a sense of community and place for students without compromising the primary function of the Pusgiwa area as a student activity zone
