The agricultural sector plays an important role in economic activities in Indonesia. Kubu Raya Regency is an agricultural center area with quite large production output, a rice field area of 79,000 ha, and 1,850 farmer groups with a total of 167 farmer group organizations. Kubu Raya Regency already has a Rice Agriculture Training Center, but the facilities and space are inadequate, so development needs to be carried out to meet the needs and comfort of its users. The rice farming training center is a place to learn, practice, and practice in the field of rice farming. The aim of this study is to design a rice agriculture training center by adjusting the facility standards and user comfort of the building used for training, management, and visitor activities. The design method used in this design is the five-step design process method in the book "Introduction to Architecture" proposed by Snyder and Catanese (1984). The design stage begins with the initiation, preparation, proposal-making, evaluation, and action stages. The design concept that will be used adjusts the function and balances the surrounding natural environment. Then supporting facilities were added to increase public interest in coming and increase their knowledge about rice farming. The result is a design for a Rice Agriculture Training Center building with facilities capable of accommodating training activities for farmers, as well as activities for preserving and processing rice agricultural products

A museum with artistic value and function is a building created to maintain and retell a silent evidence relating to the history of a field, place and nation. This design is intended as an effort to meet the needs of the Pontianak City museum which is also the discourse of the city government in the near future. The design of the Pontianak City Museum was deemed necessary, because as the provincial capital, Pontianak City is a city that has a variety of cultures. Heritage objects that need to be maintained and preserved need a place such as the city museum. The steps taken in designing the Pontianak City Museum were using the 5-step analysis design method by J.C Jones: Idea, Analysis, Synthesis, Evaluation, and Optimization. Data collection techniques in the design of the Pontianak City Museum used primary data obtained from observations and field interviews regarding visiting data and arrangements at the West Kalimantan Provincial Museum as well as secondary additional data collected from books and articles. The result of this design is the building design of the Pontianak City Museum which is included in the landscape of the riverside area with the adaptation of the iconic city monument. Consists of permanent and non-permanent showrooms, auditorium, storage and conservation rooms

Culinary is a basic need that is related to the cultural results of society. In an effort to preserve culinary culture, it is necessary to design a culinary tourism center as a recreation area to reflect the characteristics of the city of Pontianak. From a geographical perspective, the city of Pontianak is divided by the Kapuas Riverlandscape city, so it can be realized aspoint of view main. Designing a culinary tourism center by optimizing visual contact that prioritizes the river body as the front porch of the building so as to create public open space to increase community accessibility to the use of water bodies. To realize development that does not damage the environmental conditions of rivers, sustainable development is needed with an environmentally friendly architectural approach. The design is planned to create a healthy space through the selection of building materials and systems applied. Design has three main functions, namely recreational, commercial and service. The results of the design are design products for buildings with dynamic articulated forms to create a recreational atmosphere. The main aim of the design is to create a recreational space to accommodate street vendors and culinary-related facilities with spatial planning on the banks of the Kapuas river, Pontianak City. The building consists of three masses arranged radially to create natural ventilation and lighting that can be oriented to the mass of the building as well as circulation from all directions

North Kayong Regency is in the fishing area in WPP 711 which is the cumulative management area of the Karimata Strait, Natuna Sea and South China Sea areas, which allows this district to have large production potential in the fisheries sector. The potential of the fisheries sector in the large North Kayong Regency has not been fully utilized optimally due to the low availability of facilities and infrastructure for handling catches. As the capital of a district that has high potential for fish production, Sukadana does not yet have adequate catch handling facilities, so it is necessary to have facilities for fishermen and consumers, especially for the people of North Kayong Regency. The design of the Sukadana Clean Fish Market, Kayong Utara Regency aims to facilitate both in the food and economic sectors for the people of North Kayong Regency. The method used is the glass box method, which goes through several stages starting from collecting data related to fish market issues, identifying problems in the fish market, then obtaining theories related to clean fish markets as fish market standards based on relevant regulations, formulating design concepts, conducting analysis , then make pre-design drawings and technical drawings (DED). Through the design concept of a hygienic fish market in Sukadana District, Kayong Utara Regency, a fish market combines traditional market systems and modern markets which is presented in an open stall and a closed stall. The fish market with this concept was created by considering the needs and habits of the surrounding community which functions as a forum or place for buying and selling transactions as well as a place for processing fish and seafood

The freelancer profession in the current era is in great demand by many people. In the world of freelancing, income and place of work are not fixed. Most freelancers have little business capital in leveraging skills and building relationships. In addition, freelancers do not have a limit on working time, but are free to determine where to work. Freelancer activity facilities in Pontianak City do not support convenience. They are active in cafes or coffee shops with a low level of privacy. Freelancers and other creative industry players need a place that is comfortable for their activities, both working, socializing, and collaborating in running their business. They need a container that fits their activities, namely coworking space. Coworking space is a multifunctional workplace that combines various commercial functions, such as offices, meetings, culinary, entertainment, and others. For this reason, it is necessary to design a coworking space in Pontianak City. The purpose of a coworking space is to accommodate various work activities, both individually and in groups, along with their supporting activities. The design method used is flexibility in architecture, including adaptable and universal space. The steps used are looking for problems, identifying, collecting data, analyzing, conveying ideas, selecting ideas, designing products, and evaluating. The expected result is a flexible spatial plan inside and outside the coworking space, adapting to the dynamics of freelancers and other users

Most human activities are carried out in an indoors space. The room as an activity support facility must be able to provide a sense of comfort and safety and provide the health impacts needed by its occupants. Unhealthy working conditions can cause SBS (Sick Building Syndrome). SBS is a health problem and discomfort during activities in the room, which gradually disappears when the room user leaves the building. SBS causes a decrease in room user’s health, comfort, and productivity. To prevent this, identification of indoor health and comfort or IHC based on Greenship Interior Space is required. The object of this research is the Tanjungpura University Library, which has fulfiled the green construction criteria in terms of previous research. The study used an evaluative method by measuring the assessment referring to the Greenship Interior Space version 1 standard with field observations, simulations, manual calculations, and evaluation interviews. The results of analysis shows that the building achieves a score of 14 out of the maximum score of 28 with a value of 50%. The building successfully fulfilled prerequisite criteria, CO2 levels, chemical pollutants, biological pollutants, visual comfort, views from the outside and sunlight, and user comfort. It is hoped that the research results can be proposed as the right strategy to improve indoor health and comfort conditions at the Tanjungpura University Library building

Poverty is one of the many problems that exist in Indonesia. Based on the data, one of the causes of poverty is the low level of education of an individual so that they do not have sufficient productivity to carry out a business or job. The level of education is an indicator that determines the level of the Human Development Index (IPM) in a region. West Kalimantan Province is one of the areas with a low HDI level in Indonesia. In an effort to increase the HDI in the province of West Kalimantan, it is necessary to have a place to accommodate underprivileged children who want to go to school. The boarding school system can be an appropriate alternative that not only provides learning opportunities but also self-development for students. Actors in boarding schools live and carry out activities fully in the school environment so that they help pay attention to character growth, children's health, and can also ease the burden on family life. The design of the boarding school uses the glassbox (rational) method where data collection and analysis forms the basis before creating a work that is logical and in accordance with its function. The location of the boarding school design is located in an area that has a tropical climate. In designing a boarding school using a tropical architectural approach. The application of tropical architecture in boarding schools is expected to be able to solve various problems that are owned by tropical climate areas so that the relationship between the environment and buildings and user activities in buildings can run optimally.
