    Makna Fonemik dalam Semantik Arab: Ontologi, Epistemologi, Aksiologi

    This study aims to provide an understanding of the phonemic meaning (dalālah ṣawṭīyah) in Arabic semantics. To provide an understanding related to dalālah ṣawṭīyah, this study carries out its research based on a philosophical framework of thought consisting of ontology, epistemology, and axiology. It can be concluded that the discussion of this research broadly discusses the ontology or nature of ṣawṭīyah, its epistemology or method, and the axiology or function of the branch of the discussion of semantics. This research is based on a literature review. In analyzing data obtained from the literature review, this study used qualitative methods. This research has revealed the nature of sound, how sound works, and the function of each sound method in the Arabic interpretation process. This research concludes that the sound in the dalālah ṣawṭīyah has an important role in determining meaning in all language structures starting from Arabic words, phrases, and sentences. The method of sound work in giving meaning to Arabic can be in the form of differences in phoneme sounds, sound stress (al-nabr) in syllables or words, as well as intonation (al-tanghīm) that occurs in a phrase or sentence.This study aims to provide an understanding of the phonemic meaning (dalālah ṣawṭīyah) in Arabic semantics.     Pembelajaran Bahasa Arab Melalui Penggunaan Media Adobe Animate CC di Sekolah

    The use of learning media is needed in teaching and learning processes so that students can absorb learning materials well and learning activities become more effective. This study aimed to explore teaching and learning Arabic using Adobe Animate CC media in schools. Qualitative method with an ethnography approach was used in this study. Then, the research samples in this study were teachers and 8th grade students of SMPIT Arkan Cendekia, Bekasi City, West Java. The data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The results of this study showed that there were several steps carried out by the teachers in teaching and learning Arabic using Adobe Animate CC, namely (1) lesson planning, (2) learning implementation, and (3) learning evaluation. It was also found that the use of Adobe Animate CC media successfully increased students' learning motivation and students’ Arabic speaking skills. However, there are still some obstacles faced by the teachers in teaching and learning Arabic using these media.     Analisis Butir Soal Latihan pada Buku al-Naḥw al-Wāḍīḥ untuk Siswa Madrasah Aliyah

    Practice questions are the main part of every textbook, especially to evaluate and measure students’ abilities and skills. One of the books that are often used as a textbook by various madrasas and Islamic boarding schools on learning naḥwu for beginners is the al-Naḥw al-Wāḍīḥ. Unfortunately, this book has not determined the quality in the validity of practice for the lesson, because it was written by an Arabic native speaker. So, the target of this book is not for non-native Arabic speakers. This study uses a mixed method of qualitative and quantitative to describe a more complete picture of item analysis. The purpose of this study was to determine the quality of practice questions in the al-Naḥw al-Wāḍīḥ book in terms of validity, reliability, level of difficulty, and discriminating power. The results obtained are, (1) 93% of the exercise sample is under content validity; (2) from the results of the ANOVA test of two exercise samples, this test is quite reliable; (3) the difficulty level of the sample practice questions on naḥwu is fairly easy; (4) the discriminating power of the nahwu sample is sufficient.     Advertising is text in the form of images or writing to promote an item, service, job opening, and others. Print advertisements (newspapers) are useful for all people who read them. The purpose of this paper is to describe the advertisement about “Satā’ir Panasonic al-Hawā’iyah” (AC cover) contained in Egypt’s Al-Ahrām newspaper. The method used in this paper is a qualitative method with descriptive analysis. The theory used in this research is Charles Sanders Peirce’s Semiotic theory; representamen, object, and interpretant. The results in this study indicates that  (1) in terms of representamen, pink flowers in the advertisement show that what is seen is something that smells nice, soft, and comfortable; (2) the object in the advertisement is all the images and writing contained in the ad; (3) while the interpretant of the advertisement shows that the Panasonic brand AC cover product is fragrant, soft, clean, fresh, and comfortable to use

    This study aims to produce a CEFR-based Semester Learning Plan (RPS) on guided writing (al-kitābah al-muqayyadah or Kitābah 1) course by using blended learning. This study uses a research and development method based on the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation) by limiting the stages to (1) need analysis of the fifth-semester students of Arabic Language Education Study Program, Universitas Negeri Jakarta in RPS of Kitābah 1; (2) design and development for RPS of Kitābah 1 which is adjusted to CEFR level A1 and blended learning; (3) product assessment conducted by expert reviewers. Based on the needs analysis obtained from data of 20 students, the need index for RPS of Kitābah 1 with blended learning models is 2.6 (on a scale of 1–3). RPS based on the CEFR for Kitābah 1 aims to make students have the ability to arrange words and phrases into simple sentences and write paragraphs in a guided manner. Finally, based on the expert’s assessment, the score was 4.19 (on a scale of 1–5) in the very good category. Thus, the RPS of Kitābah 1 can be developed and suitable for use

    Peningkatan Keterampilan Menulis Bahasa Arab (Kitābah) dengan Menggunakan Metode Scramble di Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa Arab, Universitas Negeri Jakarta

    The main purpose of this study is to find a clear description of the effectiveness of using the scramble method to improve students’ proficiency in Arabic writing skills. This research is a qualitative study using a class action research method for 4th-semester students of 2016, in the Arabic language Education Study Program, Faculty of Languages and Arts, Universitas Negeri Jakarta, who took Kitābah 1 course. The results of this study indicate that there are changes in the attitudes and behavior of students who study Kitābah 1 with the scramble method before and after applying the method, starting from the pre-research to the first and second cycles. In this second cycle, there is a very significant change compared to before where students are more active in asking questions and discussing with their groups. Because of their activeness, the results obtained were also significant changes. This is proven by the following changes: there are 29 out of 85 students who get “very good” grades, 37 students get “good” grades, and 15 students who have “enough” grades. Meanwhile, only 4 students scored “less”. The lack of value is because the student concerned did not enter the lecture so the value and understanding are lacking in the material that has been submitted

    Persepsi Mahasiswa terhadap Pelaksanaan Perkuliahan Naḥwu dengan Sistem Daring

    This article aims to describe students’ perceptions of naḥwu 2 lecture with online system for 4th-semester students in the Arabic Language Department, IAIN Sultan Amai, Gorontalo. The study was conducted in a survey type with a qualitative approach. The data collection techniques used were questionnaires and interviews. Data were analyzed using qualitative data analysis techniques by Milles and Huberman, including data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and concluding. Research results: (1) Online lecture for naḥwu 2 is carried out with deductive methods in the form of lectures, memorizing Matn al-Ājurrūmīyah, and group material presentation; (2) As many as 46.15% of respondents stated that the material was not well presented. The influencing factors are group presentation and network quality. Only 53.85% of respondents stated that the understanding they got after attending naḥwu 2 lectures online was quite good. As many as 84.62% of respondents stated that memorization of the matn had a positive effect on understanding the material and the ability to take words. According to them, online lecture are considered ineffective in naḥwu 2.     This study aims to get a clear description of the basic teaching skills for students of the Arabic Language Education Study Program, Faculty of Languages and Arts, Universitas Negeri Jakarta. The research method used in this study is a mixed-method which is a combination of quantitative research methods and qualitative research methods. The research location is in one of the Universitas Negeri Jakarta classrooms and the research subjects consisted of 45 students class of 2016 in the Arabic Language Education Study Program who took Micro Teaching course. Data collection techniques using observation and documentation instruments. The percentage of the highest to lowest average scores in basic teaching skills mastered by students on the exam, small groups and individuals, with a value of 89.42% in the very good category, and skills of reinforcement obtained an average value of 85.00% with enough category. With this research, researchers gain an understanding of basic teaching skills as well as data related to teaching skills in the Arabic Language Education Study Program, Universitas Negeri Jakarta.     This research is aimed to express one’s phsycological condition after doing a lot of sins. He realized his mistake. He recognized all of his action. Finally he begged forgiveness to God. He had a lot of hope of mercy. He also hoped God will accept his repetance. However he was haunted of fearness if God refused his request. It will come up the hopeless because he fell there was not forgiveness for him except God. The material object of this research is the poetry of Al-I’tiraf created by Abu Nuwas and it’s translation in Indonesia. The Indonesia society especially pesantren community known it as Abu Nawas Poem. As for the formal object is inner turmoil experienced by the character in this poem which is described of writer’s life experience Abu Nuwas. Analisys method that used in this research was literature phsycology method. This analisys is done to the character mental condition who experienced regret of the sins he had done. The hope of God forgiveness and the fearness to God rejection will raise the hopeless. The result which are expected from the research is to express the feeling which experienced by the character in this poem namely a regret, wish, and hopeless.Penelitian ini bertujuan  untuk mengungkapkan kondisi psikologis yang dialami oleh seseorang, dimana setelah melakukan banyak dosa, ia kemudian menyadari dan menyesal atas kesalahannya, mau mengakui seluruh perbuatannya dan akhirnya memohon ampunan dari Tuhannya. Ia menaruh banyak harapan atas belas kasihan Tuhan untuk dapat menerima taubatnya. Namun demikian, ia juga dihantui ketakutan jika Tuhan menolak permohonannya. Maka timbullah rasa putus asa karena ia merasa tidak ada yang dapat memberinya ampunan selain Tuhan. Objek material penelitian ini adalah puisi Al-I’tiraf karya Abu Nuwas beserta terjemahannya dalam Bahasa Indonesia. Meski ada pendapat yang mengatakan bahwa syair ini bukan asli karangan Abu Nuwas, akan tetapi masyarakat Indonesia, terutama kalangan pesantren mengenali syair ini dengan sebutan Syair Abu Nuwas. Adapun objek formalnya adalah gejolak batin yang dialami tokoh dalam puisi yang sepertinya menggambarkan pengalaman hidup sang pengarang, Abu Nuwas. Metode analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode psikologi sastra. Dimana analisis dilakukan terhadap kondisi jiwa tokoh yang mengalami penyesalan atas dosa yang ia lakukan, harapan akan ampunan Tuhan serta ketakutan akan penolakan dari Tuhan yang bisa menimbukan rasa putus asa. Adapun hasil yang diharapkan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengungkap perasaan yang dialami oleh tokoh dalam puisi, yaitu penyesalan, harapan dan putus asa

    This study aims to determine how the learning method is a very important factor in learning foreign language speaking skills, especially Arabic. The method used in this research is the descriptive qualitative method. The object of this research is Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN) 1 Metro, Lampung. Meanwhile, the instruments in this study were interviews and literature studies. It can be noted that the learning method greatly influences the learning process and outcomes. The results of this study indicate that the learning method used in MAN 1 Metro, Lampung, is the direct method (mubāsharah). The effectiveness and efficiency of this method can be proven in learning activities for vocabulary development, the practice of Arabic in daily communication, the practice of Arabic speech, and Arabic drama, and the use of Arabic vocabulary in public facilities. However, this is also not free from inhibiting factors, namely the background of educators who do not have an Arabic education background and a lack of competence as an Arabic teacher, students who are less motivated in learning Arabic, the background of students who do not understand Arabic, as well as teaching materials that are less relevant for students to use in learning Arabic speaking skills
