The role of a bachelor of nursing in preoperative and postoperative
U ovom završnom radu prikazane su obaveze prvostupnice sestrinstva tijekom pacijentovog boravka u bolnici. Obaveze prvostupnice sestrinstva obuhvaćaju prijeoperativna priprema koja se sastoji od psihičke i fizičke pripreme, poslijeoperativna priprema i moguće komplikacije nakon operacije. Uloga prvostupnice sestrinstva u ovom procesu osigurava da su svi aspekti pripreme adekvatno provedeni i prilagođeni potrebama svakog pacijenta. Fizička priprema uključuje izvođenje potrebnih pretraga kao što su EKG, RTG i laboratorijski testovi, te prilagodbu prehrane i pripremu probavnog trakta. Psihička priprema pacijenata je od velike važnosti za smanjenje anksioznosti i straha. Prvostupnica sestrinstva ima značajnu ulogu u informiranju pacijenata o postupcima, što pomaže u izgradnji povjerenja i smanjenju stresa. Također, pruža podršku pacijentovoj obitelji, objašnjavajući im sve relevantne informacije o operativnom zahvatu. Poslijeoperativna skrb usmjerena je na ublažavanje postoperativnih poteškoća, uključujući bol, mučninu, povraćanje, nadutost, žeđ, štucavicu i probleme s mokrenjem. Svaka intervencija medicinske sestre mora biti pažljivo dokumentirana kako bi se osigurala kvalitetna i kontinuirana skrb.In this final paper, the responsibilities of a nursing bachelor during a patient's hospital stay are presented. These responsibilities encompass preoperative preparation, which consists of both psychological and physical preparation, as well as postoperative care and potential complications following surgery. The role of the nursing bachelor in this process ensures that all aspects of preparation are adequately implemented and tailored to the needs of each patient. Physical preparation includes conducting necessary examinations such as EKG, X-rays, and laboratory tests, as well as dietary adjustments and the preparation of the gastrointestinal tract. Psychological preparation of patients is crucial for reducing anxiety and fear. The nursing bachelor plays a significant role in informing patients about procedures, which helps build trust and alleviate stress. Additionally, they provide support to the patient's family by explaining all relevant information about the surgical procedure. Postoperative care focuses on alleviating postoperative discomfort, including pain, nausea, vomiting, bloating, thirst, hiccups, and urination issues. Every nursing intervention must be carefully documented to ensure quality and continuous care
Entrepreneurial Competence in The Competence Profile of the Head of an Adult Education Institution
Obrazovanje odraslih zauzima značajno mjesto u ideji i konstruktu cjeloživotnog učenja i obrazovanja. Kao odgovor na izazove suvremenog svijeta škole i ustanove za obrazovanje odraslih sve više posežu za poduzetništvom u načinu rada što podrazumijeva prije svega kvalitetno vođenje i upravljanje obrazovnom ustanovom. Cilj istraživanja provedenog s voditeljima ustanova za obrazovanje odraslih, ravnateljima i andragoškim voditeljima, je potreba za definiranjem i opisivanjem njihovog kompetencijskog profila; kao i utvrđivanje i opisivanje uloge poduzetničke kompetencije u kompetencijskom profilu voditelja ustanove za obrazovanje odraslih. Metodom fokus grupa sudionici su procijenili sastavnice i ulogu poduzetničke kompetencije u svom kompetencijskom profilu. Dobiveni rezultati će se koristiti za unapređenje rada sudionika, unapređivanje kulture škola i ustanova u kojima djeluju te za bolje razumijevanje uloge i važnosti poduzetničke kompetencije u kompetencijskom profilu voditelja obrazovnih ustanova.Adult education occupies a significant place within the idea and construct of lifelong learning and education. In response to the challenges of the modern world, schools and adult education institutions are increasingly reaching for entrepreneurship included in their work, which primarily implies quality leadership and management of an educational institution. The aim of the research, conducted with the heads of adult education institutions, principals, and heads of andragogic departments, is the need to define and describe their competence profile; as well as to determine and describe the role of entrepreneurial competence in the competence profile of the head of an adult education institution. Applying the focus group method, the participants assessed the components and role of entrepreneurial competence in their competence profile. The results obtained will be used to improve the work of the participants, improve the culture of the schools and institutions in which they operate, and for a better understanding of both the role and importance of entrepreneurial competence in the competence profile of heads of educational institutions
The Role of Higher Education in Developing Components of Professional Culture and the Future Profession of Pedagogues
Ovaj diplomski rad nastoji prikazati kako je visokoškolsko obrazovanje oblikovalo profesionalnu kulturu i buduću profesiju studenata pedagogije, kroz pregled temeljnih kolegija unutar izvedbenih planova i programa te iskustvo samih studenata. Istraživanje je provedeno tijekom zimskog semestra akademske godine 2023./2024. na uzorku „lavine“ koji čini ukupno 8 sugovornika, studenata diplomskog studija pedagogije u Osijeku i Zadru. Rad je usmjeren na analizu temeljnih kolegija unutar izvedbenih planova i programa, organizaciju i izvedbu nastave, usvojene elemente profesionalne kulture pedagoga, iskustvo visokoškolskog obrazovanja, viziju profesije pedagoga te procjenu vlastitog znanja i spremnosti za buduću profesiju. U analizi podataka korištena je mješovita metoda; kroz polu-strukturirani intervju i analizu sadržaja izdvojeno je pet glavnih tematskih kategorija: 1) Iskustvo studiranja (podteme: neispunjena očekivanja, pozitivno iskustvo studiranja, usporedba s drugim odjelom i srednjom školom, balansiranje uloga student/radnik, nastavak studija), 2) Vizija profesije pedagoga (podteme: negativna vizija i neutralna vizija), 3) Organizacija i izvedba nastave (podtema: poučavanje profesora i usporedba prijediplomske i diplomske razine), 4) Usvojeni elementi profesionalne kulture pedagoga, 5) Spremnost za buduću profesiju (podteme: izazovi tržišta rada i cjeloživotno obrazovanje). Na taj način dobiven je bolji uvid u skriveni kurikulum (preko intervjua) i jezgrovni kurikulum (preko analize sadržaja). Osim toga, u radu se razmatraju teorijske postavke i istraživanja o nastavnom procesu, sudjelovanju i zadovoljstvu studenata nastavnim procesom, procjeni važnosti kompetencija i njihovu stjecanju te doprinosu visokoškolskog obrazovanja. Sukladno tome, kroz rad se posebna pažnja pridaje iskustvu i vizijama studenata pedagogije, odnosno kako visokoškolsko obrazovanje razvija habitus pedagoga i kako studenti vide svoju buduću profesiju. Ovaj diplomski rad tako pruža uvid u vidljive strukture izgradnje profesije pedagoga kroz visokoškolsko obrazovanje, kao i skrivene, kroz odgovore sugovornika.This thesis aims to show how higher education has shaped the professional culture and future careers of pedagogy students, through an overview of core courses within the curriculum and students’ own experiences. The research was conducted during the winter semester of the academic year 2023. /2024., using a “snowball” sampling method with total of 8 interviewees, all of whom are graduate pedagogy students in Osijek and Zadar. The study focuses on analysing core courses within the curriculum, the organization and implementation of teaching, the acquired elements of the professional culture of pedagogues, the experience of higher education, the vision of the pedagogue profession, and the students’ self-assessment of their knowledge and readiness for their future profession. A mixed-method approach was employed in data analysis; through semistructured interviews and content analysis, five main thematic categories emerged: 1) Study experience (sub-themes: unfulfilled expectations, positive study experience, comparison with other departments and secondary school, balancing student/worker roles, continuation of studies), 2) Vision of the pedagogue profession (sub-themes: negative vision and neutral vision), 3) Organization and implementation of teaching (subthemes: teaching methods of professors and comparison between undergraduate and graduate levels, 4) Acquired elements of professional culture od pedagogues, 5) Readiness for the future profession (sub-themes: challenges in the job market and lifelong education). This approach provided deeper insight into the hidden curriculum (via interviews) and the core curriculum (via content analysis). Furthermore, this paper examines theoretical frameworks and research on teaching processes, students’ participation and satisfaction with the teaching process, assessment of the importance of competencies and their acquisition, and the contribution of higher education. Accordingly, the study places a strong emphasis on the experiences and visions of pedagogy students, particularly on how higher education develops a pedagogical habitus and how students envision their future profession. This thesis thus provides insight into the visible structures of building the pedagogical profession through higher education, as well as the hidden structures, revealed through interview responses
Analysis of project financing for pharmaceutical companies
Projektno financiranje predstavlja inovativni oblik financiranja koji omogućuje realizaciju dugoročnih infrastrukturnih i industrijskih projekata, a oslanjaju se isključivo na novčane tokove koje sam projekt generira. Farmaceutska industrija, kao visoko rizičan i kapitalno intenzivan sektor, zahtijeva specifične financijske modele koji omogućuju istraživanje i razvoj novih lijekova. Ovim radom analizira se sinergija između projektnog financiranja i farmaceutske industrije te analizira utjecaj na poslovanje biotehnoloških tvrtki i vodećih kompanija u Republici Hrvatskoj. U radu su prikazani ključni faktori uspjeha u financiranju farmaceutskih projekata, izvori financiranja kao i analiza rizika koji prate ovakav oblik investiranja. Osobita pažnja usmjerena je na praktične primjere financiranja farmaceutskih projekata, uključujući analizu projekata „Osteogrow“, „OSTEOproSPINE,“ zatim projekta razvoja metoda za proizvodnju i obilježavanje glikanskih standarda za molekularnu dijagnostiku te investicijskih inicijativa tvrtki JGL i Belupo. Rezultati istraživanja pokazuju da projektno financiranje omogućuje značajan razvoj inovativnih terapija koje mogu optimizirati zdravstvene sustave i smanjiti troškove dugotrajnih bolničkih liječenja. Korištenjem kombinacije deduktivne i induktivne metode, metode analize i sinteze, te komparativne analize, rad pruža cjeloviti uvid u prednosti i izazove primjene projektnog financiranja u farmaciji. Zaključci ukazuju na potrebu daljnjeg razvoja financijskih instrumenata koji će omogućiti održiv rast farmaceutske industrije i ubrzati proces inovacija u medicini.Project financing is an innovative form of funding that enables the realization of long-term infrastructure and industrial projects. This way of financing relies exclusively on the cash flows that is generated by the project itself. The pharmaceutical industry, that is a high-risk and capital-intensive sector, requires specific financial models that can facilitate research and development of new drugs. This paper aims to analyze the synergy between project financing and the pharmaceutical industry, as well as its impact on the operations of biotechnology companies and leading corporations in the Republic of Croatia. The paper presents key success factors in financing of the pharmaceutical projects, and the sources of funding. It also presents a risk analysis associated with this type of investment. Special attention is given to practical examples of financing pharmaceutical projects, including an analysis of the "Osteogrow" and "OSTEOproSPINE" projects, as well as the development of methods for producing and labeling glycan standards for molecular diagnostics, as well as investment initiatives by companies JGL and Belupo. The research results indicate that project financing enables significant development of innovative therapies that can optimize healthcare systems and reduce the costs of long-term hospital treatments. By utilizing a combination of deductive and inductive methods, analysis and synthesis methods, and comparative analysis, the paper provides a comprehensive insight into the advantages and challenges of applying project financing in the pharmaceutical sector. The conclusions highlight the need for further development of financial instruments that will support the sustainable growth of the pharmaceutical industry and accelerate the innovation process in medicine
The potential of applying traditional dances in early and preschool education using the example of Silba dance
Djeca se susreću s glazbom još tijekom prenatalnog razdoblja, a nakon rođenja na nju odgovaraju različitim pokretima - od njihanja naprijed i natrag u najranijoj fazi do samostalnog ili grupnog plesa u predškolskoj dobi. Ti pokreti ovise o razini djetetovih sposobnosti, a poticajno okruženje koje potiče interes i ljubav prema glazbi i plesu značajno doprinosi razvoju raznovrsnih vještina. Odgojitelj, da bi potaknuo djecu na sudjelovanje u plesnim i glazbenim aktivnostima, mora koristiti maštovit i kreativan pristup koji ih privlači i motivira. Glazba i ples donose djeci veselje i služe kao moćni odgojni alati, istovremeno sudjelujući u oblikovanju njihove osobnosti i poticanju cjelovitog razvoja. Zbog toga su ove dvije umjetnosti usko povezane i imaju značajan pozitivan utjecaj na djetetov rast i odrastanje. Ovaj rad istražuje značaj glazbenih i plesnih aktivnosti u odgoju djece rane i predškolske dobi, s fokusom na integraciju tradicijskih plesova u svakodnevne aktivnosti. Obrađuju se glazbene i plesne aktivnosti, uloga odgojitelja te folklorna baština s naglaskom na hrvatske narodne plesove i njihovu podjelu po regijama. Poseban dio posvećen je tradicijskim plesovima otoka Silbe. U završnom dijelu prikazan je vrtićki projekt koji potvrđuje pozitivan utjecaj tradicijskih plesova na razvoj djece i očuvanje kulturne baštine. Istraživanje je provedeno kvalitativnim pristupom kroz analizu literature, sustavno promatranje, bilježenje dječjih izjava, fotografiranjem, dokumentiranjem grupnih i individualnih radova djeceChildren encounter music even during the prenatal period, and after birth they respond to it with various movements - from rocking back and forth in the earliest stage to independent or group dance in preschool age. These movements do depend on the level of child’s abilities, but a stimulating environment that encourages interest and love for music and dance significantly contributes to the development of various skills. A preschool teacher, in order to encourage children to participate in dance and music activities, must use an imaginative and creative approach that fascinates and motivates them. Music and dance not only bring joy to children but also serve as powerful educational tools, while also participate in shaping their personality and encourage integral development. For this reason, these two arts are closely related and have a significant positive impact on a child's growth and development. This dissertation explores the significance of music and dance activities in the upbringing of early and preschool children, with a focus on the application of traditional dances into everyday activities. We discuss musical and dance activities, the role of preschool teachers and folklore heritage, with a particular emphasis on Croatian folk dances and their classification by region. A special section is dedicated to the traditional dances of the island of Silba. The final section presents a kindergarten project that confirms the positive impact of traditional dances on children's development and the preservation of cultural heritage. The research was conducted using a qualitative approach through literature analysis, systematic observation, recording children's statements, photography, and documenting group and individual works of children
Designing Reasearch Activities for Preschool Children in Exploring Their Local Enivornment
U suvremenom društvu, formalno obrazovanje često privlači veći naglasak od rane dječje edukacije, no predškolsko razdoblje ima ključnu ulogu u formiranju temelja za buduće učenje i razumijevanje svijeta oko djece. Fokus ovog rada jest istraživanje i analiza načina poticanja predškolske djece da bolje upoznaju svoj lokalni okoliš, posebno zavičaj. Tijekom predškolskog razdoblja, djeca stječu osjećaj povezanosti s mjestom u kojem žive, razumijevanje lokalne kulture te razvijaju istraživačke vještine. Cilj rada je analizirati strategije i metode usmjerene na poticanje istraživačkog duha kod djece te istražiti teorijske temelje rane edukacije. U fokusu su i četiri provedena pokusa koji su dio istraživačkih aktivnosti. Djeca su sudjelovala u eksperimentima o zagađenju okoliša i razdvajanju materijala, a autor analizira njihova zapažanja i odgovore. Posebno se ističe kako su djeca bila fascinirana aktivnostima koje su poticale njihovu znatiželju i omogućavale praktično istraživanje, kao što su eksperimenti o zagađenju okoliša i razdvajanju materijala. Ključna komponenta uspješnosti istraživačkih aktivnosti je podrška odraslih, odgojitelja i roditelja. Njihova uloga u poticanju radoznalosti, postavljanju poticajnih pitanja te osiguravanju sigurnog i poticajnog okoliša za istraživanje, iznimno je važna. Kroz holistički pristup, oblikovanje istraživačkih aktivnosti za predškolsku djecu u zavičaju ima potencijal potaknuti njihov razvoj, znatiželju i odnos prema okolišu.In contemporary society, formal education often receives greater emphasis than early childhood education; however, the preschool period plays a crucial role in laying the foundations for future learning and understanding of the world around children. The focus of this work is the exploration and analysis of ways to encourage preschool children to better acquaint themselves with their local environment, especially their homeland. During the preschool period, children develop a sense of connection to the place they live, an understanding of the local culture, and the cultivation of research skills. The aim of the work is to analyze strategies and methods aimed at fostering the spirit of exploration in children and to explore the theoretical foundations of early education. The spotlight is also on four conducted experiments that are integral to research activities. Children participated in experiments on environmental pollution and material separation, and the author analyzes their observations and responses. It is noteworthy that children were particularly fascinated by activities that stimulated their curiosity and allowed for practical exploration, such as experiments on environmental pollution and material separation. A key component of the success of research activities is the support of adults, teachers, and parents. Their role in encouraging curiosity, posing stimulating questions, and ensuring a safe and conducive environment for exploration is crucial. Through a holistic approach, shaping research activities for preschool children in their homeland has the potential to stimulate their development, curiosity, and relationship with the environment
Comparative analysis of financial performances of mall Aand large companies in Croatia
Ovaj diplomski rad istražuje i analizira financijsku izvedbu prehrambenih poduzeća u Hrvatskoj u razdoblju od 2019. do 2023. godine, temeljeći se na podacima preuzetim s FINA-e (Financijske agencije). Istraživanje koristi alate analize financijskih izvještaja i komparativnu analizu kako bi ocijenilo poslovnu uspješnost malih i velikih prehrambenih poduzeća. Cilj rada je donijeti zaključke o poslovnoj uspješnosti tih poduzeća te identificirati područja za poboljšanje, posebno u pogledu operativne učinkovitosti, inovacija u poslovnim strategijama i općeg rasta poslovanja.This thesis investigates and analyzes the financial performance of food companies in Croatia in the period from 2019 to 2023, based on data taken from FINA (Financial Agency). The research uses financial statement analysis tools and comparative analysis to assess the business performance of small and large food companies. The aim of the paper is to draw conclusions about the business performance of these companies and identify areas for improvement, especially in terms of operational efficiency, innovation in business strategies and overall business growth

Cilj ovoga rada je analiza pomorskog ratnog prava. Izbor teme je iz razloga sve veće važnosti pomorskog ratnog prava s obzirom na okolnosti u svijetu. Naime, more kao prostor oružanog sukoba ima svoje specifičnosti za razliku od kopna. Međunarodno ratno pravo je prepoznalo takve specifičnosti te uredilo status ratnih brodova ovisno o njihovoj namjeni i pripadnosti zastave koju viju. Od međunarodnih konvencija koje uređuju pomorsko ratno pravo, posebno se ističu Ženevske konvencije, Konvencija Ujedinjenih naroda o pravu mora i Protokol iz Sanrema. U radu je istaknut način na koji međunarodno pravo razgraničava morski prostor, uređuje status brodova, uređuje metode i sredstva ratovanja. Ratni zarobljenici kao žrtve sukoba imaju poseban status prema međunarodnim konvencijama, a sami pravni izvori detaljno opisuje način na koji se sukobljena strana mora odnositi prema njima. Međunarodne konvencije ograničavaju sve nehumanosti koje su bile zastupljene u prijašnjim sukobima.The aim of this paper is to analyze maritime law of war. The choice of topic is driven by the increasing importance of maritime warfare law in light of global circumstances. The sea, as a space for armed conflict, has its own specificities compared to land. International humanitarian law has recognized these specificities and regulated the status of warships depending on their purpose and the flag they fly. Among the international conventions governing naval warfare, the Geneva Conventions and the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea and Sanremo Manual stand out. This paper highlights how international law demarcates maritime space, regulates the status of ships, and governs methods and means of warfare. Prisoners of war, as victims of conflict, enjoy special status under international conventions, and legal sources provide detailed descriptions of how the conflicting parties must treat them. International conventions limit all inhuman practices that were present in previous conflicts
The impact of cruise tourism on the City of Zadar
Diplomski rad bavi se analizom stavova lokalnog stanovništva Zadra o utjecaju kruzing-turizma na njihov grad. Rad se temelji na analizi postojeće literature o kruzing-turizmu, definiranju ključnih pojmova, opisu razvoja kruzing-turizma i definiranju tržišne ponude i potražnje, trodimenzionalnom utjecaju kruzing-turizma na destinaciju i na Zadar. Opisane su karakteristike Zadra kao kruzing-destinacije i njegovih putničkih luka te razvoj ovog oblika turizma s trenutnim trendovima. Cilj je rada utvrditi utjecaje kruzing-turizma u destinacijama s posebnim naglaskom na Zadar, utvrditi stavove građana o utjecaju-kruzing turizma na život lokalnog stanovništva u Zadru, ukazati na probleme koji se javljaju sve prisutnijim utjecajima kruzing-turizma u svijetu, Hrvatskoj i Zadru te predložiti smjernice u vezi s ublažavanjem negativnih utjecaja kruzing-turizma na održivost Zadra. Primarno istraživanje obuhvaća anketni upitnik na uzorku stanovnika Zadra kako bi se razumio utjecaj kruzing-turizma na Grad Zadar iz perspektive lokalnog stanovništva. Rezultati istraživanja pokazali su da stanovnici Zadra uviđaju ekonomske koristi kruzing-turizma, ali istovremeno naglašavaju zabrinutost zbog negativnih učinaka na okoliš, infrastrukturu i kvalitetu života lokalnog stanovništva.This master's thesis explores the attitudes of the local population of Zadar regarding the impact of cruise tourism on their city. The paper is based on the analysis of the existing literature on cruise tourism, the definition of key concepts, a description of the development of cruise tourism as well as the supply and demand on the market. It also covers the three-dimensional impact of cruise tourism on the destination and specifically on Zadar. The characteristics of Zadar as a cruise destination and its passenger ports are described, along with the development of this form of tourism and current trends. The aim of the thesis is to identify the impacts of cruise tourism on destinations with special emphasis on Zadar, to determine the attitudes of citizens regarding the impact of cruise tourism on the lives of the local population, to highlight the problems caused by the growing influence of cruise tourism globally, in Croatia, and in Zadar; and to propose guidelines for mitigating the negative impacts of cruise tourism on the sustainability of Zadar. The primary research consists of a questionnaire conducted on a sample of Zadar residents to understand the impact of cruise tourism on the city from the perspective of the local community. The results show that the residents of Zadar recognize the economic benefits of cruise tourism but also express concern about its negative effects on the environment, infrastructure, and overall quality of life for the local population
The world in the (self)constitution of the transcendental subject
Ovaj rad se prvenstveno bavi temom konstitucije unutar Husserlove fenomenologije i svim bitnim momentima koji pritom dolaze u obzir. Transcendentalna subjektivnost se, kroz istra~ivanja u polju iste svijesti, kroz intencionalne analize i transcendentalnu refleksiju, pokazala sredibnjom to kom konstitucije, koju treba shvatiti kao <događanje u transcendentalnoj subjektivnosti=. Ona je aktivni pol intencionalnog odnosa, svaki predmetni smisao konstituira se u njoj (ona je istovremeno i samokonstituiraju a). S druge strane, svijet kao intencionalni korelat transcendentalne subjektivnosti nema bitak po sebi, ve uvijek upu uje na nju kao na praizvor stvaranja. U radu je pokazano da konstitucija nije samo <pubtanje da se bivstvuju e vidi u svojoj predmetnosti=, ve da ona za Husserla ima i dublji smisao te je u svom bitnom dijelu inidbena, stvarala ka djelatnost transcendentalnog subjekta. Ti uvidi ne ostaju samo u strogo teoretskim okvirima, nego imaju dalekose~ne implikacije, kako na ostale filozfijske discipline tako i na sve druge slojeve ~ivotnoga svijeta.This paper primarily deals with the topic of constitution within Husserl's phenomenology and all the important moments that come into consideration. Transcendental subjectivity, through research in the field of pure consciousness, through intentional analyzes and transcendental reflection, proved to be the central point of the constitution, which should be understood as "an event in transcendental subjectivity". It is the active pole of the intentional relationship, every objective sense is constituted in it (it is also self-constitutive at the same time). On the other hand, the world as an intentional correlate of transcendental subjectivity does not have a being in itself, but always refers to it as the primordial source of creation. The paper shows that the constitution is not only "allowing the existing to be seen in its objectivity", but that for Husserl it also has a deeper meaning and is in its essential part the active, creative activity of the transcendental subject. These insights do not remain only in strictly theoretical frameworks, but have far-reaching implications, both for other philosophical disciplines and for all other layers of the life world
