Stećci in Identification Processes: Between Cultural Heritage and Everyday Life
Ovaj diplomski rad bavi se stećcima, srednjovjekovnim nadgrobnim spomenicima, kao dijelom kulturne baštine Hrvatske i Bosne i Hercegovine, s posebnim fokusom na procese identifikacije i suvremene percepcije lokalnih zajednica. Kroz etnografsko istraživanje provedeno na nekoliko lokaliteta u Hercegovini i na jednom lokalitetu u Hrvatskoj, analizirana je dvoznačna uloga stećaka – s jedne strane kao formalno zaštićene UNESCO-ve Svjetske baštine, a s druge strane kao dijela svakodnevnog života lokalnih zajednica. Metodološki, rad se oslanja na polustrukturirane intervjue, promatranje sa sudjelovanjem i fotografsku dokumentaciju kako bi se prikazali suvremeni izazovi očuvanja i valorizacije stećaka. Istraživanje ukazuje na potrebu za dubljim razumijevanjem odnosa između formalne zaštite i svakodnevnog življenja baštine, posebno u ruralnim područjima gdje stećci, iako fizički prisutni, često nemaju ključnu simboličku ulogu.This thesis explores stećci, medieval tombstones, as part of the cultural heritage of Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina, with a special focus on identification processes and contemporary perceptions within local communities. Through ethnographic research conducted at several sites in Herzegovina and one site in Croatia, the dual role of stećci is analyzed – on the one hand, as formally protected UNESCO World Heritage, and on the other, as part of the everyday lives of local communities. Methodologically, the thesis relies on semi-structured interviews, participant observation, and photographic documentation to highlight contemporary challenges in the preservation and valorization of stećci. The research points to the need for a deeper understanding of the relationship between formal protection and the everyday experience of heritage, particularly in rural areas where stećci, despite being physically present, often do not hold a key symbolic role
Impact of the Head Teacher's Authority on Creating a Positive Atmosphere and Encouraging Student Motivation
Autoritet i razredna atmosfera neizostavni su elementi odgojno-obrazovnog rada svakog nastavnika. On mora uspostaviti autoritet kako bi osigurao optimalno okruženje u kojem se učenici osjećaju sigurno i imaju priliku u potpunosti iskoristiti svoje potencijale. Najveću ulogu i odgovornost u održavanju pozitivne atmosfere unutar razreda ima razrednik. Posao razrednika uključuje administrativne poslove (opravdavanje izostanaka, organiziranje roditeljskih sastanaka, sazivanje sjednica), informiranje učenika, praćenje njihovog razvoja i napretka, i rješavanje problema koji na njih negativno utječu. U ovom radu istražuje se važnost rada razrednika i njegovu ulogu u oblikovanju razredne atmosfere i motiviranju učenika. U teorijskom dijelu rada istraživala se odgojna uloga škole, aspekti autoriteta, motivacije, razredne atmosfere, i njihova povezanost s radom razrednika. Istraživački dio rada usmjeren je ispitivanju mišljenja učenika vezanih uz rad njihovih razrednika. Podaci su prikupljeni metodom intervjua, a uzorak se sastojao od 20 učenika osnovnih i srednjih škola. U posljednjem dijelu rada analizirani su rezultati ispitivanja, posebno u vezi s utjecajem razrednika na atmosferu u razredu, motivaciju i odnose unutar razreda. Na temelju prikupljenih podataka zaključuje se da učenici smatraju da razrednik ima značajnu ulogu u oblikovanju razredne atmosfere i motiviranju učenika. Dobiveni rezultati pokazali su kako se među najpoželjnijim karakteristikama razrednika ističu empatija, pravednost i briga za dobrobit učenika. S obzirom na dobivene rezultate, može se zaključiti kako je uloga razrednika neophodna za nastavni proces i blagostanje učenika zbog čega su istraživanja na ovu temu od značajne važnosti. Uzimajući u obzir nedostatak literature i istraživanja vezana s ovom tematikom, preporučuje se daljnje istraživanje s fokusom na mišljenje učenika kako bi se dublje razumjela uloga razrednika u školskom okruženju.Authority and the classroom atmosphere are essential elements of every teacher's educational work. Every teacher must establish authority to create an optimal environment in which students feel safe and have the opportunity to fully realize their potential. The head teacher plays the most significant role and responsibility in maintaining a positive atmosphere within the classroom. The head teacher's duties include administrative tasks (justifying absences, organizing parent-teacher meetings, convening meetings), informing students, monitoring their growth and development, and addressing issues that negatively affect his students. This paper explores the importance of the head teacher's work and his role in shaping the classroom atmosphere and motivating students. In the theoretical section of the paper a thorough examination was conducted to assess the educational function of schools. This involved examining key elements such as authority, motivation, classroom ambiance, and their interconnectedness with the responsibilities of the head teacher. The research part of the paper focuses on examining students' opinions related to the work of their head teachers. Data were collected through interviews, with a sample of 20 students from primary and secondary schools. In the final part of the paper, the research results were analyzed, particularly regarding the class teacher's influence on the classroom atmosphere, motivation, and relationships within the class. Based on the collected data, it can be concluded that students believe the class teacher has a significant role in shaping the classroom atmosphere and motivating students. The results indicate that empathy, fairness, and concern for students' well-being are among the most desirable characteristics of head teachers. Given the obtained results, it can be argued that the role of the head teacher is essential for the educational process and students' well-being, making research on this topic of significant importance. Considering the lack of literature and research on this subject, further research focusing on students' perspectives is recommended to gain a deeper understanding of the class teacher's role in the school environmen
The role of cultural institutions in the educational process
U ovom radu istraživanjem se nastojao dobiti uvid surađuju li osnovne škole s odabranim kulturnim ustanovama na području grada Šibenika. Zbog svoje različitosti i specifičnosti odabrale su se četiri kulturne ustanove. Gradska knjižnica „Juraj Šižgorić“ Šibenik i Muzej grada Šibenika kao ustanove čija se suradnja sa školama podrazumijeva. Javna ustanova „Nacionalni park Krka“ koja je specifična jer upravlja zaštićenim područjem, a nudi edukativne programe za djecu. Ustanova u kulturi „Tvrđava kulture“ koja upravlja trima obnovljenim šibenskim tvrđavama, Kućom umjetnosti Arsen i Hrvatskim centrom koralja na otoku Zlarinu, a također nudi edukativne programe za djecu. Zbog specifičnosti navedenih kulturnih ustanova, njihovoj dostupnosti i spremnosti na suradnju s odgojno-obrazovnim ustanovama, suradnja utječe na kvalitetu odgojno-obrazovnog procesa. Kada učenike stavimo u centar odgojno-obrazovnog procesa kroz suradnju s kulturnim ustanovama, oni će zorno učiti o povijesnoj, kulturnoj i prirodnoj baštini. Istraživanje provedeno na 43 učitelja/ice razredne nastave iz šibenskih osnovnih škola pokazalo je da učitelji/ce redovito surađuju s navedenim ustanovama, uključuju ih u svoje nastavne planove i prepoznaju važnost te suradnje za ostvarenje planiranih obrazovnih ishoda. Iako su prilično zadovoljni suradnjom, ipak smatraju da ima još mogućnosti za unaprjeđenje te suradnje.In this thesis the aim of the research was to gain insight into whether primary schools cooperate with selected cultural institutions in the area of the city of Šibenik. Four cultural institutions were chosen due to their diversity and specificity. The public library „Juraj Šižgorić“ Šibenik and the City museum of Šibenik as institutions which imply cooperation with schools. The public institution „Krka National Park“ is specific because it manages the protected area and offers educational programs for children. The public institution „Fortress of Culture“ which manages the three restored fortresses in Šibenik, The House of Art Arsen and the Croatian Coral Center on the island of Zlarin which also offer educational programs for children. Due to specificity of the mentioned cultural institutions, their availability and willingness to cooperate with educational institutions such cooperation affects the quality of the educational process. When students are put at the centre of the educational process through cooperation with cultural institutions, they will learn more about historical, cultural and natural heritage. The research conducted on 43 primary school teachers from Šibenik showed that teachers regularly cooperate with these institutions, include them in their lesson plans and recognize their importance of this cooperation for achieving the planned educational outcomes. Although teachers are quite satisfied with the cooperation, they believe there are still more opportunities to improve this cooperation
Development and perspective of alternative forms of transport in the area of the city of Čakovec
U diplomskom radu analiziran je prometni sustav grada Čakovca s naglaskom na uporabu električnih romobila te iskustva i stavovi sudionika u prometu. Analizirana je stručna i znanstvena literatura i izvori na temu električnih romobila kao alternativnog oblika mobilnosti. Provedeno je anketno istraživanje kojim su ispitani stavovi i mišljenja stanovnika Čakovca o korištenju električnog romobila za potrebe dnevnih cirkulacija. Analizom rezultata utvrđeno je da je prometna infrastruktura dijelom prilagođena alternativnim oblicima prometa s naglaskom na uporabu električnog romobila. Kao najveće probleme s kojima se susreću prilikom vožnje električnih romobila, a ujedno i kao glavne razloge zašto u budućnosti neće postati aktivni vozači električnih romobila ispitanici navode nizak osjećaj sigurnosti u prometu, neadekvatnu prometnu infrastrukturu i nepoštivanje važeće zakonske regulative. U gradu Čakovcu postoji potencijal razvoja svih alternativnih oblika prometa s naglaskom na uporabu električnih romobilaIn the thesis, the transport system of the city of Čakovec was analyzed with an emphasis on the use of electric scooters and the experiences and attitudes of traffic participants. Professional and scientific literature and sources on the topic of electric scooters as an alternative form of mobility were analyzed. A survey was conducted to examine the attitudes and opinions of the residents of Čakovec regarding the use of electric scooters for daily circulation. Analyzing the results, it was determined that the transport infrastructure is partially adapted to alternative forms of transport with an emphasis on the use of electric scooters. as the biggest problems they face when driving electric scooters, and at the same time as the main reasons why they will not become active drivers of electric scooters in the future, respondents cite a low sense of safety in traffic, inadequate traffic infrastructure and non-compliance with current legislation. In the city of Čakovec, there is a potential for the development of all alternative forms of transport with an emphasis on the use of electric scooters
Assumptions for the successful inclusion of children in early and preschool education institutions - the educator's perspective
Inkluzija je pedagoški pristup koji se temelji na ideji da sva djeca, bez obzira na njihove sposobnosti ili teškoće, imaju pravo sudjelovati u redovitom odgojno-obrazovnom procesu. Cilj inkluzije je osigurati jednaka prava i mogućnosti za svu djecu, omogućujući im da se razvijaju i uče u okruženju koje je prilagođeno njihovim individualnim potrebama. Uključivanje djece s teškoćama u redoviti odgojno-obrazovni proces u suvremenom svijetu započinje od najranije dobi. Inkluzija ne podrazumijeva samo uključivanje djece s teškoćama, već i potpunu prilagodbu sustava njihovim potrebama. Zbog toga je ključno naglasiti preduvjete koje odgojno-obrazovna ustanova mora ispunjavati kako bi ovaj proces bio ugodan i učinkovit za sve sudionike. Inkluzija zahtijeva suradnju između odgojitelja, stručnih suradnika, roditelja i šire zajednice. Ključni elementi uspješne inkluzije su kontinuirana edukacija odgojitelja, adekvatna materijalna opremljenost, te razvoj individualiziranih programa koji odgovaraju specifičnim potrebama djece. Također je važno osigurati stalnu podršku i savjetovanje za sve uključene strane kako bi se prevladali izazovi i osigurala uspješna implementacija inkluzivnih praksi. Kroz inkluziju, odgojno-obrazovni sustav postaje pristupačniji i pravedniji, omogućujući svakom djetetu da bude aktivan sudionik u svom obrazovanju i da se osjeća prihvaćeno i cijenjeno.Inclusion is a pedagogical approach based on the idea that all children, regardless of their abilities or difficulties, have the right to participate in the regular educational process. The goal of inclusion is to ensure equal rights and opportunities for all children, enabling them to develop and learn in an environment that is adapted to their individual needs. The inclusion of children with disabilities in the regular educational process in the modern world starts from an early age. Inclusion does not mean only the inclusion of children with disabilities, but also the complete adaptation of the system to their needs. For this reason, it is crucial to emphasize the prerequisites that the educational institution must fulfill in order for this process to be pleasant and efficient for all participants. Inclusion requires cooperation between educators, professional associates, parents and the wider community. The key elements of successful inclusion are the continuous education of educators, adequate material equipment, and the development of individualized programs that meet the specific needs of children. It is also important to ensure ongoing support and consultation for all parties involved to overcome challenges and ensure successful implementation of inclusive practices. Through inclusion, the educational system becomes more accessible and fairer, enabling every child to be an active participant in their education and to feel accepted and valued
Usporedba hrvatskih i francuskih eufemizama prema klasifikaciji Branka Kune
Les euphémismes occupent une position clé dans le contrôle du langage et de la communication, notamment dans les situations où il est important d’être poli. Les euphémismes permettent de discuter de sujets désagréables ou inconfortables. Ils permettent aux individus d’étiqueter des sujets inconfortables de manière à les rendre moins poignants, voire moins attrayants. Malgré la large diffusion des euphémismes, ils ne sont devenus que récemment un sujet dans les ouvrages linguistiques, et surtout en langue croate, il existe un très petit nombre d'ouvrages sur le thème des euphémismes. L’objectif principal de cet article est de combler le manque de recherche car, outre le fait qu’il existe peu d’études sur les euphémismes en langue croate, il n’existe pas non plus de comparaison systématique des euphémismes utilisés en langue croate et française. Ce travail est basé sur la classification présentée par Branko Kuna dans son ouvrage intitulé « Identification des euphémismes et leur formation dans la langue croate ». Le corpus d'euphémismes a été collecté à partir de nombreuses sources Internet pour les deux langues puis comparé pour voir s'ils diffèrent en termes de sujets euphémisés, de types fonctionnels et de manières de création.Eufemizmi zauzimaju ključnu poziciju u kontroli jezika i komunikacije, posebno u situacijama kada je važno biti pristojan. Eufemizmi omogućuju da razgovaramo o neugodnim temama. Omogućuju pojedincima da označe neugodne teme na načine koji ih čine manje dirljivima ili čak manje privlačnima. Unatoč širokoj rasprostranjenosti eufemizama, oni su tek nedavno postali tema u lingvističkim radovima, a osobito u hrvatskom jeziku postoji vrlo mali broj radova na temu eufemizama. Glavni je cilj ovog članka popuniti istraživačku prazninu jer, osim što postoji malo studija o eufemizmima u hrvatskom jeziku, ne postoji ni sustavna usporedba eufemizama koji se koriste u hrvatskom i francuskom jeziku. Ovaj se rad temelji na klasifikaciji koju je iznio Branko Kuna u svom radu pod naslovom Identifikacija eufemizama i njihova tvorba u hrvatskom jeziku. Korpus eufemizama prikupljen je iz brojnih internetskih izvora za oba jezika te potom uspoređen kako bi se vidjelo razlikuju li se po eufemiziranim temama, funkcionalnim tipovima i načinima tvorbe.Euphemisms occupy a key position in language and communication control, especially in situations where it is important to be polite. The main aim of this article is to fill the research gap, because apart from the fact that there are few studies on euphemisms in the Croatian language, there is also no systematic comparison of euphemisms used in Croatian and French. The Castles of Bavaria as a segment of the German Travel Trade
Dvorci Bavarske neizostavan su segment njemaĉke turistiĉke ponude. Njihova trajna privlaĉnost i utjecaj ukorijenjeni su u njihovoj bezvremenskoj ljepoti, povijesnom znaĉaju i kulturnom odjeku koji nadilazi generacije. Njihova veliĉanstvena arhitektura, zadivljujući krajolici i slikoviti ambijenti stvaraju osjećaj ĉarolije i ĉuda koji osvaja posjetitelje iz cijelog svijeta. Bilo da se nalaze na krševitim obroncima planina, smješteni u bujnim dolinama ili se ogledaju u mirnim jezerima, bavarski dvorci evociraju osjećaj romantike i fantazije koji posjetitelje prenose u drugo doba. Proţeti su povijesnim znaĉajem i sluţe kao opipljivi podsjetnici na kraljevsku prošlost i slavnu baštinu regije. Svaki dvorac priĉa svoju priĉu, od srednjovjekovnih utvrda Burghausena do bajkovitog sjaja Neuschwansteina. Svojom arhitektonskom veliĉinom i kulturnom simbolikom, bavarski dvorci nude uvid u bogatu bavarsku povijest, tradiciju i kulturna dostignuća, pruţajući prozor u prošlost budućim generacijama da ih istraţuju i cijene. Implementation of artificial intelligence tool for automatic analysis and data storage from unstructured sources
Ovaj rad istražuje tehnologije i pristupe implementaciji alata umjetne inteligencije za analizu i pohranu nestrukturiranih podataka. Tehnologije koje se koriste u praktičnom dijelu i bit će obrađene u ovom radu su: Java programski jezik, razvojni okvir Eclipse Scout, PostgreSQL baza podataka i PG Admin upravitelj baze podataka. Alat umjetne inteligencije koji se implementira u programsko rješenje je Receipt & Invoice OCR od tvrtke Taggun. Korištene vanjske biblioteke u praktičnom dijelu rada su: JDBC, Gson i okHttp. Vanjske biblioteke koje su navedene su bile potrebne za spajanje na bazu podataka i za implementaciju samog AI alata. U prvom dijelu opisuje se svrha i cilj ovog rada te nakon toga funkcionalni zahtjevi za razvoj programskog rješenja i same implementacije ovog alata. Drugi dio istražuje korištene tehnologije i pojmove iz teorije koje su bliske ovom alatu umjetne inteligencije. Zadnji dio rada fokusira na praktični dio implementacije alata umjetne inteligencije za prepoznavanje i strukturiranje podataka iz nestrukturitranih izvora, te teorijski dio korištenih vanjskih biblioteka. The technologies which will be used in the practical part, as well as researched in this paper are as follows: Java programming language, Eclipse Scout framework, PostgreSQL database and PG Admin database administrator. The tool being implemented in the application is Receipt & Invoice OCR, developed by the company Taggun. The external libraries used in the practical part of the paper are: JDBC, Gson and okHttp. The external libraries mentioned were necessary for connection to the database and the implementation of the AI OCR tool. In the first part, the purpose and the goal of the paper is explained, after that, the functional requirements for the development of the application and the implementation of the tool. The second part aims to analyze the technologies used and the theoretical terms which are related to the AI OCR tool. The last part of the paper focuses on the practical part of the implementation of the AI tools for recognizing and structuring data from unstructured sources and the theoretical part of the external libraries used. The relationship between personality traits and musical preferences in childrenof lowergrades
Glazbeni angažman u ranom odgoju i obrazovanju uključuje različite aktivnosti, poput pjevanja, slušanja, sviranja instrumenata i plesa. Razumijevanje dječjih glazbenih preferencijaomogućuje učiteljima ranog djetinjstva korištenje ovih informacija pri planiranju glazbenihaktivnosti. Djeca uživaju u glazbi koja im se sviđa i stoga na nju pozitivno reagiraju. Cilj ovogistraživanja bio je ispitati odnos osobina ličnosti i glazbenih preferencija kod učenika i učenicanižih razreda. U istraživanju je sudjelovalo 30 učenica i 36 učenika u dobi od 8 do 9godina. Utvrđeno je da između dječaka i djevojčica ne postoje razlike u osobinama ličnosti niti uglazbenim preferencijama. Također, osobine ličnosti nisu pokazale povezanost s glazbenimpreferencijama, osim povezanosti između savjesnosti i preferiranja funka.Musical engagement in early education involves various activities, such as singing, listening, playing instruments and dancing. Understanding children's musical preferences enables earlychildhood teachers to use this information in planning musical activities. Children enjoymusicthey like, and therefore, they react positively to it in a positive way. The aimof this researchwasto examine the relationship between personality traits and musical preferences in studentsoflower grades. The study included 30 female and 36 male students aged 8 to 9 years. Threehypotheses were put forward in the conducted research. It was found that there are no differencesin personality traits or musical preferences between boys and girls. Additionally, regarding the connection between personality traits and musical preferences, only a correlation betweenconscientiousness and a preference for funk was determined
Bilingualism in the Context of Contemporary Pedagogical Science
Bilingvizam, kao tema ovog diplomskog rada, sve se češće istražuje i podržava u okviru novije pedagogijske znanosti upravo zbog kognitivnih i socijalnih prednosti koje pruža djetetu. Suvremeni pristupi obrazovanju nastoje integrirati dvojezične programe u sustav redovne nastave te samim time olakšati ishode učenja bilingvalnim učenicima, ali i podržati njihove jezične i kulturalne raznolikosti. U praksi, dvojezični programi nude niz modela i oblika dvojezičnog obrazovanja koji se individualno oblikuju prema jezičnim i kulturalnim potrebama učenika s ciljem postizanja apsolutne dvojezične kompetencije na oba jezika. Pri samom odgoju i obrazovanju dvojezičnog djeteta izrazito su važne i kompetencije samih roditelja, a potom i odgajatelja, stručnih suradnika i učitelja te uključenost i zainteresiranost odgojno-obrazovnih institucija. Provedeno istraživanje bavit će se slučajem dvojezičnog djeteta predškolske dobi koje je od rođenja u svom kućanstvu izloženo dvama jezicima te će se ujedno i prikazati metoda usvajanja jezika pod nazivom „jedan roditelj-jedan jezik“. Iako spomenuta metoda pripada jednom od najpoznatijih pristupa u odgoju dvojezične djece, ona može uspjeti jedino ako su roditelji, obitelj i djetetovo okruženje ustrajni u njoj.Bilingualism, as the topic of this thesis, is increasingly being researched and supported within the framework of recent pedagogical science precisely because of the cognitive and social advantages it provides to the child. Modern approaches to education seek to integrate bilingual programs into the system of regular classes and thereby facilitate learning outcomes for bilingual students, but also support their linguistic and cultural diversity. In practice, bilingual programs offer a number of models and forms of bilingual education that are individually shaped according to the linguistic and cultural needs of students with the aim of achieving absolute bilingual competence in both languages. When raising and educating a bilingual child, the competencies of the parents themselves, and then of the educators, professional associates and teachers, as well as the involvement and interest of the educational institutions are extremely important. The conducted research will deal with the case of a bilingual preschool child who has been exposed to two languages in his household since birth, and the method of language acquisition called "one parent-one language" will be presented. Although the mentioned method belongs to one of the most well-known approaches in raising bilingual children, it can only succeed if the parents, family and the child's environment are persistent in it
