    The influence of human resources management in the prevention of mobbing in a business organization

    Mobing je postao sve prisutniji problem u suvremenim organizacijama kojemu se pridaje premalo pažnje, a nekima čak nije ni poznat, tj. uopće ne znaju što isti znači. Mobing provodi pojedinac (ili više njih) kako bi napao žrtvu, na različite moguće načine te prouzrokovao njeno omalovažavanje i diskriminaciju. Navedenim ponašanjem razvijaju se različite posljedice, prvenstveno za samu žrtvu, a potom i za ostatak njene obitelji, ali i organizaciju u kojoj je zaposlena. Uzroci mobinga mogu biti različiti, a, prema dostupnoj literaturi, kao i anketiranim te intervjuiranim pojedincima, najčešći su individualne karakteristike žrtve, ali i počinitelja, ljubomora, zavist, jaka konkurencija i slično. Ovisno o tome tko su njegovi počinitelji, a tko žrtve, postoje različite vrste mobinga, ali bez obzira o kojoj se vrsti radilo, zasigurno svaka od njih ostavlja dugotrajne posljedice na žrtvi i ostalim sudionicima mobinga. Posljedice mobinga su najčešće teške i zbog toga žrtvi treba stručna pomoć s dugotrajnim liječenjem i upravo zato, kako bi se isto izbjeglo, svaka organizacija treba provoditi prevenciju mobinga. Pod time se misli na unaprjeđenje radne okoline, radnog vremena i sustava nagrađivanja te poboljšanja poslovanja organizacije za što bi trebali biti zaduženi pojedinci odgovorni za upravljanje ljudskim resursima. Budući da se u današnje vrijeme ljudski resursi smatraju najvrjednijim i najznačajnijim resursom svake organizacije, menadžeri ljudskih resursa imaju sve teži i kompleksniji zadatak, a jedan je od njih upravo briga o mobingu i njegovom sprječavanju. Stoga se kao glavni cilj ovog diplomskog rada nameće važnost menadžmenta ljudskih resursa kao i pojašnjenje njegovih zadataka u vidu prevencije i sprječavanja mobinga u organizaciji. U skladu s time, provela su se istraživanja putem ankete (244 ispitanika) i intervjua (šest menadžera), a sve kako bi se prepoznala važnost ovih menadžera te njihov utjecaj na prevenciju i sprječavanje mobinga.Mobbing has become an increasingly present problem in modern organizations, to which too little attention is paid, and to some it is not even known, i.e. they do not know what it means at all. Mobbing is carried out by an individual (or several of them) in order to attack the victim, in various possible ways, and to cause him to be humiliated and discriminated against. The aforementioned behavior develops various consequences, primarily for the victim herself, and then for the rest of her family, as well as the organization in which she is employed. The causes of mobbing can be different, and according to the available literature, as well as the surveyed and interviewed individuals, the most common are the individual characteristics of the victim and the perpetrator, jealousy, envy, strong competition and the like. Depending on who are the perpetrators and who are the victims, there are different types of mobbing, but regardless of which type it was, each of them certainly leaves long-lasting consequences on the victim and other mobbing participants. The consequences of mobbing are usually severe, and because of this, the victim needs professional help with long-term treatment, and that is exactly why, in order to avoid the same, every organization should implement mobbing prevention. By this is meant the improvement of the working environment, working hours and reward system, as well as the improvement of the organization's operations, which should be the responsibility of the individuals responsible for human resources management. Since human resources are nowadays considered the most valuable and significant resource of any organization, human resource managers have an increasingly difficult and complex task, and one of them is taking care of mobbing and its prevention. Therefore, the main goal of this thesis is the importance of human resources management, as well as the clarification of its tasks in the form of prevention and prevention of mobbing in the organization.     Goethe and artificial intelligence

    In dieser Bachelorarbeit wird Goethes Figur Homunculus mit der künstlichen Intelligenz in Verbindung gebracht und kritisch betrachtet. Das Ziel dieser Arbeit ist es, die Botschaft und die Absicht Goethes, durch die kurze Erwähnung des Homunculus in dem Werk Faust II zu klären und einen Vergleich zur heutigen Form der künstlichen Intelligenz zu erstellen. Dazu wurden in einer detaillierten Textanalyse und einer genaueren Behandlung der Charaktereigenschaften, die relevanten Figuren untersucht. Des Weiteren wurde die Funktion des Homunculus im Stück ausführlich auf den Grund gegangen. Es folgte die Erläuterung der Ansätze der künstlichen Intelligenz und der Alchemie. In der direkten Gegenüberstellung des Homunculus und der KI wurden die Gemeinsamkeiten und Unterschiede verdeutlicht, was Aufschluss auf die Ansätze der Forschungsfrage gibt. Die Antwort auf die Forschungsfrage wurde durch Analysen und Vergleiche, auch zu anderen Werken, die über die KI handeln, erforscht. Der Bezug zu heute und die Frage, ob die Erschaffung der künstlichen Intelligenz ethisch und moralisch vertretbar ist, verdeutlicht ebenso, dass Goethe in seinem Werk Faust, die Einmischung in die Natur durch Menschen kritisiert und sie vor den Konsequenzen warnt.U ovom završnom radu, Goetheov lik Homunkulus povezan je s umjetnom inteligencijom i kritički je proučen. Cilj ovog rada je razjasniti Goetheovu poruku i namjeru kroz spominjanje Homunkulusa u djelu Faust II, te napraviti usporedbu s današnjim oblikom umjetne inteligencije. U tu svrhu relevantni likovi ispitani su detaljnijom obradom karakternih osobina. Nadalje, u djelu je detaljno ispitana funkcija Homunkulusa. Slijedilo je objašnjenje pristupa umjetnoj inteligenciji i alkemiji. U usporedbi Homunkulusa i umjetne inteligencije, jasno su prikazane sličnosti i razlike, što daje uvid u pristupe istraživačkom pitanju. Odgovor je istražen analizama i usporedbama, uključujući i druge radove koji se bave umjetnom inteligencijom. Povezanost s današnjicom i pitanje je li stvaranje umjetne inteligencije etički i moralno opravdano, govori i o tome, da je Goethe u svom djelu Faust kritizirao miješanje ljudi u prirodu i upozoravao ih na posljedice.In this bachelor's thesis, Goethe's character Homunculus is associated with artificial intelligence and critically examined. The aim of this thesis is to clarify Goethe's message and intention through the brief mention of Homunculus in Faust II and to make a comparison to today's form of artificial intelligence. For this purpose, the relevant characters were examined in a detailed text analysis and a closer examination of the character traits. Furthermore, the function of Homunculus in Faust II was thoroughly investigated. This was followed by an explanation of the approaches of artificial intelligence and alchemy. In the direct comparison of Homunculus and AI, the similarities and differences were highlighted, which provides information on the approaches to the research question. The answer was explored through analyses and comparisons, including other works that deal with AI. The reference to today and the question of whether the creation of artificial intelligence is ethically and morally justifiable also illustrates that Goethe in his work Faust criticizes human interference in nature and warns of its consequences

    Emotional narratives in character characterization of the anti-war novels of the 20th and 21st centuries

    Ovaj je diplomski rad emocionološka analiza triju proizvoljno odabranih antiratnih romana 20. i 21. stoljeća. Cilj je utvrditi kako emocijski narativi oblikuju karakterizaciju književnih likova, koliko takvi konstrukti utječu na etičko promišljanje tekstova i kolika je važnost emocijskih narativa u oblikovanju antiratnih poruka. Kako bi se jasnije istražio predmetni antiratni korpus, rad se najprije bavi vezom između književnosti i emocija s posebnim akcentom na kognitivno-kulturalni pristup emocijama, kao širi okvir emocionološkoga pristupa književnosti. Emocijski narativi u karakterizaciji likova u Zbogom oružje (1995) Ernesta Hemingwaya, u Magli i mjesečini (1972) Meše Selimovića i u Zengi (2018) Mate Ćurića analizirat će se preko postupaka i tehnika predstavljenih u teoriji narativne empatije Suzanne Keen i empatijsko-etičkoga modela književnoga čitanja Marthe C. Nussbaum. Tri će se teksta različitih nacionalnih književnosti, različitoga vremenskoga razdoblja i različitoga ratnoga događanja, komparativno analizirati metodologijom afektivne naratologije s ciljem otkrivanja narativnih tehnika kojima se služe autori kako bi kreirali emocijske narative, koji predstavljaju ključan element pri čitateljevoj identifikaciji, ali i potaknuli narativnu empatiju kao dio karakterizacije književnih likova u antiratnim romanima.This thesis is an emotional analysis of three arbitrarily selected anti-war novels of the 20th and 21st centuries. The goal is to determine how emotional narratives shape the characterization of literary characters, how much such constructs influence the ethical reflection of texts, and how important emotional narratives are in shaping anti-war messages. To more clearly investigate the subject anti-war corpus, the paper first deals with the connection between literature and emotions with a special emphasis on the cognitive-cultural approach to emotions, as a broader framework of the emotional approach to literature. Emotional narratives in character characterization in Ernest Hemingway's Farewell to Arms (1995), Meša Selimović's Magla i mjesečina (1972) and Mate Ćurić's Zenga (2018) will be analyzed through the procedures and techniques presented in Suzanne Keen's theory of narrative empathy and the empathic-ethical model of literary readings by Martha C. Nussbaum. Three texts from different national literatures, from different time periods and different war events, will be comparatively analyzed using the methodology of affective narratology with the aim of discovering the narrative techniques used by authors to create emotional narratives, which represent a key element in the reader's identification, but also encourage narrative empathy as part of the characterization of literary characters in anti-war novels

Se centra en tres obras literarias del Siglo de Oro de la literatura española que tuvieron influencia en la literatura europea. Con fin de entender mejor las vidas de los personajes principales de la época, el objetivo es analizar los personajes de las tres obras y comparar sus similitudes y diferencias.U ovom radu izložit će se najvažnije karakteristike pikarskog romana i glavne junakinje koje su se morale snalaziti na razne načine kako bi si osigurale egzistenciju i pokušale uspeti na društvenoj ljestvici. Temelji se na bližem prikazu Zlatnog doba španjolske književnosti koja je utjecala na europsku književnost. Osim toga, u svrhu boljeg razumijevanja života junakinja tog razdoblja, cilj je dubinski analizirati Celestinu, Justinu i Elenu i prikazati sličnosti i razlike.This work seeks to expose the most important aspects of the picaresque novel and its main characters who had to make a living in different ways in order to survive and ascend the social ladder.     Strossmayer's legacy through the prism of monument protection – the parish church of St. Peter and Paul in Osijek

    Status slobodnog i kraljevskog grada, koji je stekao početkom 19. stoljeća, Osijeku je omogućio razvoj gospodarstva. To će posebno biti očito u drugoj polovici istoga stoljeća, kada se u „gradu na Dravi“ otvaraju brojne tvornice i kada se broj stanovništva povećava. Osim toga, sredinom stoljeća za biskupa je izabran Osječanin Josip Juraj Strossmayer, koji je u povijesti ostao zapamćen kao veliki pokrovitelj kulture i umjetnosti. U svom rodnom gradu je dao izgraditi gimnaziju, sjemenište i druge građevine, među kojima se najviše ističe župna crkva sv. Petra i Pavla, koja je danas u središtu Osijeka. Njegovom inicijativom je, po nacrtima njemačkog arhitekta Franza Langenberga, u razdoblju od 1894.-1900. podignuta velebna crkva neogotičkog stila koja i danas izaziva divljenje. Tijekom povijesti je crkva doživjela brojna stradavanja, od kojih su ona iz Domovinskog rata 1991. i 1992. ostavila najveći trag. Odmah po završetku rata je započela obnova, koja traje i danas, što znači da preostaje još dosta vremena do njezina završetka. Bez obzira na sve, župna crkva sv. Petra i Pavla ostaje jedinstveni simbol grada Osijeka, kao što je to od prvog dana.The status of a free and royal city, which it acquired at the beginning of the 19th century, enabled Osijek to develop its economy. This would be especially evident in the second half of the same century, when numerous factories are opened in the "city on the Drava" and the population increases. Additionally, Josip Juraj Strossmayer from Osijek was elected bishop in the middle of the century, and was remembered in history as a great patron of culture and art. He had a gymnasium, a seminary and other buildings built in his hometown, including the parish church of St. Peter and Paul, which is located in Osijek's city center today. It was thanks to his initiative, according to the designs of the German architect Franz Langenberg, in the period from 1894 to 1900 that a magnificent neo-Gothic style church was built, which still inspires admiration today. Throughout its history, the church has experienced numerous casualties, of which those from the Homeland War in 1991 and 1992 left the biggest mark. Reconstruction began immediately following the end of the war, and it continues today, which means that there is still a lot of time left until it is finished. Regardless of everything, the parish church of St. Peter and Paul remains the unique symbol of the city of Osijek, as it has been since the first day

    UVOD: Klinička supervizija u sestrinstvu je proces praćenja i usmjeravanja aktivnosti medicinske sestre kako bi se zajamčilo provođenje zdravstvene njege pacijenata prema unaprijed određenim i zadanim standardima. Usvajanje novih vještina i stjecanje samopouzdanja koje doprinosi kontinuiranom napredovanju, neke su od važnosti supervizije. CILJ: Detaljan sustavni literaturni pregled supervizije sestrinske prakse ističući značaj supervizije u kliničkoj praksi, poteškoće koje se javljaju i pristupe koji se mogu koristiti za rješavanje poteškoća. MATERIJALI I METODE: Istraživanje je provedeno pretraživanjem baze Web of Science. Radovi su selektirani uz pomoć ključnih riječi: „supervision, nursing, approach“ te temeljem šest uključnih kriterija: stručni ili znanstveni rad, dostupan u otvorenom pristupu, objavljen u razdoblju od 2019.-2023. godine, pisan na engleskom jeziku, sudionici medicinske sestre i područje istraživanja - sestrinstvo. REZULTATI: Pretraživanjem baze Web of Science temeljem definiranih ključnih riječi pronađeno je 1114 radova. Nakon odabira uključnih kriterija generirano je 57 članaka od kojih je 19 temeljem sadržaja sažetaka zadovoljilo kriterije za uvid u cjeloviti članak, nakon čega je isključeno još tri rada. ZAKLJUČAK: Rezultati ovoga literaturnog pregleda potvrđuju da klinička supervizija u sestrinstvu utječe na svakodnevni rad medicinskih sestara, povećava zadovoljstvo medicinskih sestara i pacijenata te sigurnost pacijenata unutar zdravstvene radne organizacije. Uključivanje sestrinskih timova u evaluaciju vlastitog rada i prepoznavanje razina izvrsnosti doprinosi postizanju željenih rezultata rada i razumijevanju važnosti kvalitete i sigurnosti pružene zdravstvene skrbi te njezinog izravnog utjecaja na pacijente. Kontinuirano ulaganje u obrazovanje i osposobljavanje kliničkih supervizora, jedna je od strategija kojom zdravstvene organizacije mogu prevladati prisutne izazove te doprinjeti povećanju kvalitete rada.INTRODUCTION: Clinical supervision in nursing is a process of monitoring and guiding nurses' activities to ensure patient care delivery according to predefined and set standards. Adopting new skills and gaining confidence contribute to continuous improvement, highlighting the importance of supervision. OBJECTIVE: A detailed systematic literature review of nursing practice supervision emphasizing its significance, challenges, and approaches to addressing them. MATERIALS AND METHODS: The study searched the Web of Science database. Papers were selected using keywords: "supervision, nursing, approach" and based on six inclusion criteria: professional or scientific article, open access availability, published between 2019-2023, written in English, involving nurse participants, and focusing on the field of nursing. RESULTS: A search using the defined keywords in the Web of Science database yielded 1114 papers. After applying the inclusion criteria, 57 articles were generated, of which 19 based on abstract content met the criteria for full-article review, after which three more papers were excluded. CONCLUSION: The results of this literature review confirm that clinical supervision in nursing impacts nurses' daily work, enhances nurse and patient satisfaction, and improves patient safety within healthcare organizations. Involving nursing teams in self-assessment and recognizing levels of excellence contribute to achieving desired work outcomes and understanding the importance of quality and safety in healthcare delivery and its direct impact on patients. Continuous investment in the education and training of clinical supervisors is a strategy through which healthcare organizations can overcome current challenges and enhance work quality

    Picturebooks and Early Foreign Language Learning

    Ovaj rad obuhvaća teorijsko i empirijsko istraživanje vezano uz ulogu slikovnice u ranom učenju stranih jezika. Prvi dio rada usmjeren je na dva područja – ono koje se odnosi na ulogu slikovnice u ranoj i predškolskoj dobi te na područje ranog učenja stranih jezika. Temelji se na pregledu literature vezane uz dječju čitateljsku kompetenciju, stvaranje kulture čitanja i poticajnog okruženja te dječju recepciju slikovnice, kriterije odabira i teorijske pristupe slikovnici. Dio rada o ranom učenju stranih jezika osvrće na teorije usvajanja i suvremene metode u ranom učenju te posebno ulogu slikovnice u ranom učenju stranog jezika. Pregledom recentne literature izdvojena su i suvremena provedena istraživanja na ovu temu. Drugi dio rada opisuje mješovito empirijsko istraživanje vezano uz upotrebu slikovnice u ranom učenju i važnost čitanja slikovnice u razvoju dječjih kompetencija na stranome jeziku, kao i kompetencije odgajatelja za rad sa slikovnicom u ovom kontekstu. Istraživanje je provedeno na uzorku od 150 odgajatelja u odgojno-obrazovnim skupinama u kojima se provode programi ranog učenja stranih jezika. Primarni cilj istraživanja bio je utvrditi učestalost upotrebe slikovnice u ranom učenju stranog jezika s obzirom na razinu obrazovanja, radno iskustvo u struci te prema jeziku koji poučavaju, kao i stavove odgajatelja o važnosti upotrebe slikovnice u ranom učenju stranog jezika. Sekundarni cilj bio provođenje kvalitativnog istraživanja radom u fokus grupi, kako bi se saznalo više o iskustvima praktičara u korištenju slikovnice u ranom učenju stranog jezika. Rezultati istraživanja pokazali su da odgajatelji sa savršenim preddiplomskim studijem češće koriste slikovnice u ranom učenju stranih jezika, nego oni sa završenim diplomskim studijem. Pokazalo se da ne postoji razlika u učestalosti korištenja slikovnica između odgajatelja s više radnog iskustva, kao ni između skupina koje provode program ranog učenja engleskog jezika u odnosu na ostale strane jezike. Nadalje, pokazalo se da se slikovnice koriste često i to najčešće narativne, da odgajatelji pažljivo biraju poticaje, za što se smatraju kompetentnima, no prepoznaju potrebu kontinuiranog stručnog usavršavanja na ovu temu i nakon završenog formalnog obrazovanja. Odgajatelji visoko vrednuju dobrobiti korištenja slikovnice u ranom učenju stranih jezika, posebno način na koji svojim vizualnim kodom potpomaže usvajanje vokabulara i jezičnih struktura. Fokus grupa dodatno je produbila uvid u promišljanja odgajatelja, a najznačajnije spoznaje oblikovane su u Smjernice za upotrebu slikovnice u ranom učenju stranog jezika, kako bi poslužile manje iskusnim odgajateljima.This paper deliverss theoretical and empirical research related to the role of picturebooks in early foreign language learning. The first part of the paper focuses on two areas: the role of picturebooks in early age, and within early foreign language learning. It is based on a review of literature related to children's reading competence, the creation of a reading culture and stimulating environment, children's reception of picturebooks, criteria for selection, and theoretical approaches to picturebooks. The section on early foreign language learning reviews theories of acquisition as well as contemporary methods, with a special focus on the role of picturebooks in language acquisition. A detailed review of recent literature also highlights contemporary research conducted on this topic. The second part of the paper describes a mixedmethod empirical study related to the use of picturebooks and its importance for developing children's competencies in a foreign language, as well as educators' competencies in working with picturebooks in this context. The research was conducted on a sample of 150 educators in classes implementing early foreign language learning programs. The primary aim of the research was to determine the frequency of picturebook use with respect to the level of education, work experience in the field, and the language being taught, as well as the attitudes of educators regarding the importance of using picturebooks in early foreign language learning. The secondary aim was to conduct qualitative research through focus group work to learn more about practitioners' experiences. The research results showed that educators with a completed undergraduate degree use picturebooks more frequently than those with a graduate degree. It was shown that there is no difference in the frequency of picturebook use between educators with more work experience or between groups that teach English compared to other foreign languages. Furthermore, it was found that picturebooks are often used, most commonly narrative ones, and that educators carefully select stimuli, for which they consider themselves competent. However, they recognize the need for continuous professional development on this topic even after completing formal education. Educators highly value the benefits of using picturebooks, especially the way they support vocabulary and language structure acquisition through their visual code. The focus group further deepened the insights into educators' reflections, and the most significant findings were shaped into Guidelines for the Use of Picturebooks in Early Foreign Language Learning to benefit less experienced educators

    Traumatized Child Characters in Contemporary Children's and Young Adult Novel

    U diplomskom se radu na odabranom romanesknom korpusu interpretiraju traumatizirani dječji i adolescentski junaci suvremene dječje i adolescentske svjetske i hrvatske književnosti. Uvodni je dio rada posvećen definiranju poetike suvremenog dječjeg i adolescentskog romana, s naglaskom na analizu prevladavajuće tematike i likova. Glavni dio rada obuhvaća književno-teorijsku interpretaciju romana: Apsolutno istinit dnevnik Indijanca na određeno vrijeme (2007) Shermana Alexia, Kupit će ti tata koturaljke (2006) Melite Rundek, Gumi-gumi ili Djevojčica koja je preskočila nebesa (2001) Zorana Pongrašića, Bucka (1999) Janje Vidmar, Zmajevi koji ne lete (2020) i Oblak čvoraka (2021) Ivane Šojat, Edbin (2014), Zeleni pas (2009) i Draga mama (2015) Nade Mihelčić te Debela (2007) Silvije Šesto Stipančić. Istraživanje se bavi traumama glavnih junaka što ih uzrokuju mnogi vanjski i unutarnji čimbenici. U tom su smislu književni junaci promatrani kao žrtve konzumiranja opojnih sredstava, žrtve vršnjačkog i obiteljskog nasilja, bolešću i tjelesnošću traumatizirani junaci te kao junaci traumatizirani odnosima u disfunkcionalnim obiteljima. Većina književnih junaka, zahvaljujući uspostavi odnosa s drugima (psihijatri, prijatelji, roditelji, simpatije) uspijevaju prebroditi početnu traumu i osnaženi nastaviti dalje, dok je manji dio traumatiziranih likova doživio tragičan završetak. Napisani u prevladavajućem ispovjednom tonu, obrađujući prilično sumornu i ozbiljnu tematiku, odabrani romani svjedoče o dijelu poetike suvremenog dječjeg i adolescentovog romana, ali i društva koje se u njima projicira.The heroes of contemporary children's and young adult novel world’s in Croatian literature are interpreted in this thesis on the chosen romanesque literary works. The introductory part of the paper is dedicated to defining the poetics of contemporary children's and young adult novels, with an emphasis on the analysis of the prevailing theme and characters. The main part of the paper includes the literary-theoretical interpretation of the following novels: The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-time Indian(2007) by Sherman Alexie, Your Dad Will Buy You a Roller Skates (2006) by Melita Rundek, Gumi-gumi or Girl Who Skipped the Skies (2001) by Zoran Pongrašić, Chubby Girl(1999) by Janja Vidmar, Non-flying Dragons (2020) and The Cloud of Stralings(2021) by Ivana Šojat, Edbin (2014), Green Dog (2009) and Dear Mom (2015) by Nada Mihelčić and Fat(2007) by Silvija Šesto Stipančić. This study deals with the trauma experienced by the main heroes caused by many external and internal factors. In this regard, literary heroes are seen as victims of consumption of drugs, victims of peer and family violence, illness and body traumatized heroes and as heroes traumatized by relations in dysfunctional families. Most of these literary heroes, by establishing relationships with others (psychiatrists, friends, parents, sympathies) manage to overcome the initial trauma and are empowered to move on, while a small part of the traumatized characters have a tragic ending. Written in a predominant confessional tone, dealing with a rather gloomy and serious subject, the selected novels testify to a part of the poetics of contemporary children's and young adult novels, as well as the society projected in them

    Dugi niz godina ličnost je područje interesa mnogih istraživača, a kao reakcija na sve veći broj istraživanja mračne trijade ličnosti, u zadnjih nekoliko godina javila se tendencija istraživanja ljudskih vrlina. Tako se, dakle, istražuje pomažuće i nesebično, rastu orijentirano ljudsko ponašanje, poznatije kao svijetla trijada ličnosti. S obzirom na prirodu ova dva konstrukta, u ovo istraživanje uključene su i emocionalna manipulacija i emocionalna inteligencija. Sukladno tome, cilj ovog istraživanja bio je ispitati odnos mračne i svijetle trijade ličnosti s emocionalnom inteligencijom i emocionalnom manipulacijom te prediktivni doprinos mračne i svijetle trijade, emocionalne inteligencije i određenih sociodemografskih karakteristika sklonosti emocionalnoj manipulaciji. Rezultati su pokazali da su žene u prosjeku postizale viši rezultat na skali emocionalne inteligencije te su izrazile više razine crta svijetle trijade ličnosti, dok su kod muškaraca bile više izražene crte mračne trijade ličnosti te su bili skloniji emocionaloj manipulaciji. Nadalje, utvrđene su pozitivne povezanosti crta mračne trijade s emocionalnom manipulacijom; humanizma i vjere u čovječanstvo s emocionalnom inteligencijom; te narcizma s emocionalnom inteligencijom. Negativne povezanosti utvrđene su između crta svijetle trijade i emocionalne manipulacije; humanizma i kantijanizma s crtama mračne trijade; te vjere u čovječanstvo s makijavelizmom i psihopatijom. Nije utvrđena značajna povezanost emocionalne inteligencije s kantijanizmom, emocionalnom manipulacijom, makijavelizmom i psihopatijom. Također, povezanost nije utvrđena između vjere u čovječanstvo i narcizma. Govoreći o prediktivnom doprinosu emocionalnoj manipulaciji, značajnim su se pokazali spol (muškarci su imali više rezultate) i crte mračne trijade ličnosti (pozitivni prediktori), pri čemu najveći prediktivni doprinos ima psihopatija. Sve tri osobine svijetle trijade ličnosti zajedno nisu imale značajan nezavisan doprinos u objašnjenju varijance emocionalne manipulacije, iako se sam kantijanizam pokazao značajnim negativnim prediktorom emocionalne manipulacije.For many years personality has been an area of interest for many researchers and as a reaction to the increasing number of researches on the dark triad of personality, in the last few years there has been a tendency to research human virtues. That means helping and selfless, growth-oriented human behavior known as light triad of personality. Given the nature of these two constructs, emotional manipulation and emotional intelligence are also included in this research. Accordingly, the goal of this research was to examine the relationship between the dark and light triad of personality with emotional intelligence and emotional manipulation and the predictive contribution of the dark and light triad, emotional intelligence and certain sociodemographic characteristics of the tendency to emotional manipulation. The results have shown that women, on average, achieved a higher score on the scale of emotional intelligence and expressed higher levels of light triad personality traits, while men had more pronounced dark triad personality traits and were more prone to emotional manipulation. Furthermore, positive associations of dark triad traits with emotional manipulation were established; humanism and faith in humanity with emotional intelligence and narcissism with emotional intelligence. Negative associations were established between the features of the light triad and emotional manipulation; humanism and kantianism with features of the dark triad and faith in humanity with machiavellianism and psychopathy. There was no significant correlation between emotional intelligence and kantianism, emotional manipulation, machiavellianism and psychopathy. Also, the connection has not been established between faith in humanity and narcissism. Speaking of the predictive contribution to emotional manipulation, gender (men had higher results) and the dark triad of personality (positive predictors) proved to be significant, with psychopathy having the greatest predictive contribution. All three bright triad personality traits together did not have a significant independent contribution in explaining the variance of emotional manipulation, although kantianism itself proved to be a significant negative predictor of emotional manipulation

    Cilj je ovoga završnog rada prikaz slobode u romanu „Braća Karamazovi“ Fjodora Mihajloviča Dostojevskog. Na početku je riječ o samom autoru koji je jedan od najvećih svjetskih pisaca svih vremena i njegovu stvaralaštvu. Kroz prikaz slobode istražuje se kako pojedini filozofi poimaju slobodu, ali i kako je sloboda za Dostojevskog središnja tema koja je povezana s temom o zlu. Za dobro i zlo smatra se da su djeca slobode, čovjek je slobodan da se opredijeli za određeni izbor. Kada ne bi bilo izbora, ne bi bilo ni slobode. Sloboda može biti negativna i pozitivna. Ako se sloboda doživljava kao teret, obveza, nemogućnost da se nosimo s našim izborima, onda je sloboda negativna. S druge strane, pozitivna sloboda je svjesno prihvaćanje svojih izbora i odluka, takva sloboda je usmjerena prema određenim vrijednostima, u sebi uključuje poznavanje dobra. Ivan Karamazov predstavnik je negativne strane slobode jer ga takva sloboda vodi u zlo i zločin. Njegov brat, Aljoša Karamazov, svjestan je činjenice da je sloboda nužna za dostojanstvo čovjeka te postupa u skladu s tim, usmjeren je prema vrijednostima koje vode u dobro. Upravo kroz razgovor njih dvojice koji predstavljaju suprotnosti, pokreće se tema o patnjama, slobodi i Bogu.The aim of this thesis is to present the concept of freedom in the novel The Brothers Karamazov by Fyodor Mikhailovich Dostoevsky. First, the discussion focuses on the author himself, one of the greatest writers of all time, and his body of work. Through the portrayal of freedom, it is explored how certain philosophers perceive freedom, and how for Dostoevsky, freedom is a central theme closely tied to the theme of evil. Good and evil are considered to be the offspring of freedom, as people are free to make their own choices. Without choice, there would be no freedom. Freedom can be seen as negative and positive. Freedom understood as a burden, obligation, the inability to deal with our choices, represents the negative concept of freedom. On the other hand, the positive concept of freedom is the conscius acceptance of one’s choices and decisions. This type of freedom is directed towards certain values and includes the knowledge of good. Ivan Karamazov can be considered a representative of the negative view of freedom, as this kind of freedom leads him to evil and crime. His brother, Alyosha Karamazov, is aware that freedom is necessary for human dignity and acts accordingly, directing himself toward values that lead to good. It is throught the conversation between these two, who represent opposites, that the topic of suffering, freedom, and God are brought into discussion
