2022 m. Klaipėdoje, sklype Žvejų g. 2B, buvo atlikti detalieji tyrimai. Sklypas Žvejų g. 2B buvo tirtas 2003 m. M. Brazausko (ATL 2003 metais, 2005, p. 180-181). Tuo metu ištirtas 429 m2 plotas, kuriame atidengti XVIII a. (?)-XIX a. pastato pamatai, užfiksuota krantinės vieta, aptiktos XVI-XVII a. užstatymo liekanos, rasti XVII-XIX a. datuojami radiniai. 2017 m. D. Balsas sklype vykdė žvalgymus. Perkasomis ir kasiniais žvalgytas apie 179 m2 plotas, kuriame pakartotinai atidengti XIX a. 8-9 dešimtmečio - XX a. pradžios stovėjusio pastato pamatai (ATL 2017 metais, 2018, p. 707). 2018 m. sklype D. Balsas detaliai ištyrė 3 plotus, kurių bendras dydis 610 m2 (ATL 2018 metais, 2019, p. 321324). Ištirtuose plotuose visiškai atidengti ir užfiksuoti XIX a. 8-9 dešimtmečių - XX a. pradžios stovėjusio pastato akmens mūro su mediniu rostverku pamatai, aptiktos XVI-XIX a. I pusės struktūros - Dangės upės krantinių liekanos, tilto poliai ir medinis latakas. Tyrimų metu fiksuoti 1,5-2,5 m storio XVI a. pabaigos - XXI a. kultūriniai sluoksniai, kuriuose rasta XVI a. pabaigos - XX a. datuojamų radinių. Sklypas Žvejų g. 2B yra Klaipėdos senamiesčio ŠR dalyje. Sklypo ŠV dalis ribojasi su Danės upės krantine, ŠR - su Biržos tilto prieigomis, P - su Žvejų gatve. 2022 m. sklype ištirtas, trikampio formos 66,5 m2 dydžio plotas 4.The 2022 excavation to a depth of 1.9-2 m (Habs -0.00-+0.15 m) in triangular Area 4 (66.5 m2) at Žvejų St. 2B, Klaipeda revealed, in order under the fill layers: blackish peaty sandy loam with organic and archaeological finds, the late 17th-18th-century cultural layer that had formed beside present-day Žvejų Street and the swampy riverbank; at a depth of 1.1-1.65 m, dark grey sand mixed with sapropel and isolated red clay brick pieces that had been deposited on the riverbank; and from a depth of 1.6-1.95 m only natural geological layers. 2022 m. Rašytiniuose šaltiniuose priemiestis minimas nuo XVI a. II pusės, bet tikslios priemiesčio ribos nėra žinomos. Odų gatvelės priemiestis 1692 m. buvo pavadintas Frydricho miestu, kuris gavo iš dalies savarankiško urbanistinio vieneto teises. 1722-1723 m. šis Klaipėdos priemiestis teisiškai buvo sujungtas su senamiesčio teritorija ir nuo to laiko laikytinas vientisu junginiu. XVIII a. viduryje Frydricho miesto planinė struktūra buvo beveik jau susiformavusi. Iki šiol Daržų gatvėje ir jos aplinkoje vykdant archeologinius tyrimus aptikti kultūriniai sluoksniai datuojami ne anksčiau nei XVII a. pradžios. In 2022 an excavation (131 m2) and field survey were conducted on Daržų Street in Klaipeda. Five trenches totalling 84 m2 were excavated down to sterile soil and 2 areas totalling 47 m2 down to a predetermined depth at storm drain line sites. A survey was conducted in roughly 1513 m2 on Daržų Street, where the soil with removed to a depth of 0.5-1.1m. Both the excavation and survey revealed 0.50-1.5 m thick, early 17th-20th-century cultural layers. The oldest urban development remnants: an 18th-century stove base and the remains of a wooden building, were exposed at the streets NW kerb beside Daržų St. 18. The foundations of second half of the 19th - mid-20th-century buildings were discovered at the street’s NE kerb beside Daržų St. 18 and Sukilėlių St. 2. The investigation on Daržų Street yielded 0.50-1.5 m thick, early 17th-20th-century cultural layers containing contemporaneous finds and 18th - second half of the 20th-century structures: an 18th-century stove base and the remains of wooden buildings, the masonry foundations of second half of the 19th - mid-20th-century buildings, and second half of the 20th-century stone paving. 2022 m. buvo tęsiami 2021 m. rudenį pradėti archeologiniai tyrimai S. Daukanto g. 6, Varniuose (Telšių r., Varnių sen.), kur vykdyti Varnių kunigų seminarijos pastate (UK 10569) įsikūrusio Žemaičių vyskupystės muziejaus sutvarkymo darbai. 2021 m. tyrimus atliko D. Zubrickas (ATL 2021 metais, 2022, p. 250-254). Varnių kunigų seminarijos pastato statybos data yra žinoma. Statybos darbai vyko 1767-1770 m. Iki to dabartiniame S. Daukanto g. 6 sklype yra stovėjusi Varnių katedra, Švč. Trejybės bažnyčia irjų aplinkoje nuo XV a. buvusios kapinės. The archaeological investigation begun in autumn 2021 at S. Daukanto St. 6, Varniai (Telšiai District, W Lithuania) continued in 2022 with the excavation of 5 trenches (totalling roughly 99 m2) and the survey of roughly 22 m2 on the plot where Varniai Cathedral stood in the 15th-17th centuries, the Church of the Holy Trinity in the 18th century, and Varniai Seminary was built in 1767-1770. The excavation yielded 15th-18th-century burials and the remains of the cathedrals 16th-17th-century masonry foundation. The burials discovered in the trenches near the foundation should be ascribed to individuals of higher social status. These were distinguished by an abundance of not only grave goods, but also weaponry, especially burial 111, which contained a male over 40, who, based on the exceptional grave goods: a battle axe, 1 m long sword, a bear claw amulet, spurs, large diameter coil rings probably worn over a glove, belt buckles, and strap buckles, was a member of high society. Overall, the 2021-2022 investigation season saw the survey of roughly 280 m2, the excavation of roughly 240 m2 and 118 15th-18th-century burials, and the recovery of 16th-19th-century finds: household and structural ceramics, glass, and metal

Sapiegos g. 13, suprojektuotų inžinerinių tinklų vietose. Iš viso ištirtos 8 bendro 337,75 m2 ploto perkasos. Žvalgymų metu įrengiamų inžinerinių tinklų vietose, rūmų išorėje bei rūmų vidinėje ŠR patalpoje (demontuojamų grindų vietoje), žvalgytas 578,4 m2 bendras plotas. In 2022, excavation and field survey were carried out at the grounds of the Sapiegos Residence, the Trinitarian monastery, and the hospital complex in the Vilnius borough of Antakalnis. A total of 8 trenches with a total area of 337.75 m2 were excavated, and a further 578.4 m2 area was surveyed. Excavations in the palace courtyard revealed an archaeological layer with finds, features, and structures, which measured 0.05-1 m in thickness and was dated to the 16th-19th centuries. A 16th-18th-century layer, which was 5-30 cm thick, was recorded at a depth of 1-2.8 m in Trenches 2, 4, 5 and 7. In contrast, in Trenches 1, 3, 6 and 8, the archaeological layer was heavily disturbed or not preserved at all. The preserved archaeological layer was not intense, yielding a small number of finds. In Trenches 2, 5 and 7, at a depth of 2.15-2.85 m, a layer of blackish sand approx. 2-20 cm thick was recorded, which might date to 1000 BC-100 AD. This layer was disturbed at some point between the 16th and 18th centuries. Two sherds of hand-thrown pottery were found in this layer in Trench 5, and 17 hand-thrown brushed pottery sherds were found in the fill of a feature in Trench 7. During the field survey, a late-19th- to early-20th-century sump (Structure 5) and a part of an unidentified structure (Structure 6) were found in Area 3. Four structures were found at the site of the central heating route (N part of the area): 1) a fragment of a 19th-century fence extending S-N from the palace, towards the building at 15 L. Sapiegos St.; 2) a fragment of a late-19th- to 20th-сеnturу sump; 3) an 18th-century gateway with a guardhouse (Fig. 6); and 4) a continuation of the same sump (Structure 2 and Structure 5)

In autumn 2022, archaeological excavation continued in the territory of the Janusz Radvila Palace in Vilnius, located at 24 Vilniaus St. The palace, built in the mid-17th century and badly damaged during the Moscow War, is located in the W part of the Old Town, beyond the city’s defensive wall. The objectives of the exploratory excavation carried out in 2022 were to identify the exact locations of the corners of the remains of the pavilions of the Radvila Palace and to determine the parameters of those remains. To that end, archaeologists had already excavated test pits as early as the end of the 20th century. Seven test pits of different sizes were investigated, covering a total area of 94.75 m2. The excavation managed to precisely locate the remains of the central pavilion of J. Radvila, the shape of which was nearly square, approximately 18 x 18 m in size. No remains of the SW pavilion or of the connecting second E wing were found. Test pit 7 was found to contain 18th-century masonry structures, built in at least two phases. The extension of this test pit allowed the excavation of deposits disturbed during previous excavations, the investigation of a small segment of an archaeological layer dating to the 15th-18th centuries, and the investigation of features cut into the sterile soil and dating to the 15th-17th centuries. These features were left unexcavated in previous years. The archaeological layer in test pits 2, 5 and 7, in the freshly exposed areas free of features, was 1.7-2.2 m thick, with the earliest level dating back to the 15th century based on the data of previous studies
