2022 m. birželį Kernavėje (Širvintų r., Kernavės sen.), Kriveikiškio g. 10A, buvo vykdyti žvalgomieji tyrimai. Tų pačių metų spalį, remiantis žvalgomųjų tyrimų rezultatais, atlikti detalieji tyrimai. Tyrimai buvo reikalingi, nes užsakovai planuoja vykdyti statybos darbus sklype, patenkančiame į Kernavės senojo miesto vietos II teritoriją (UK 24568).The 2022 field evaluation (two 1 m2 test pits) and subsequent excavation (one 42 m2 trench) at Kriveikiškio St. 10A, Kernavė, examined a 16th-20th-century cultural layer. The upper cultural layer had been disturbed and greatly contaminated by Modern Era (19th-20th-century) material while the lower one from the 16th-18th centuries had survived in good condition with little disturbance. The excavation of the trench and sieving of the soil yielded a total of 1203 finds, among which sherds of thrown and partly thrown pottery predominated. Other types of finds were sparse: 2 stove tile fragments, 32 metal artefacts, 5 glass finds, 1 whetstone fragment, and 1 flint flake. The sterile soil under the cultural layer yielded sunken objects, which were dated to the 16th-18th centuries on the basis of the finds. The function of these objects was not precisely determined but they should be treated as storage or utility pits based on their form and contents. One object, due to the greater quantity of slag and fused soil fragments, was treated as a metal working site

2022 m. Vytauto Didžiojo g. ЗА ištirtos dvi perkasos (21,7 m2 plotas) ir žvalgyta 29,4 m2 ploto tranšėja, bendras 51,1 m2 plotas.During the 2022 excavation (51.1 m2, to a depth of 1.2 m) at Vytauto Didžiojo St. ЗА, Jurbarkas, Trenches 1 and 2, under the 0.8-1 m thick 20th-century layer, revealed a 20-40 cm thick, mid- 17th-19th-century grey soil layer containing mainly mid-17th-18th-century ceramic finds: sherds of thrown pots, jars, and pitchers. These layers continued down to the predetermined depth of 1.2 m in most of the trenches. Only the NW part of the trenches yielded a fragmentary layer of brown or brownish sand containing small quantities of 17th-18th-century ceramics

A field evaluation (50 test pits totalling 81 m2) and survey (roughly 7800 m2) were conducted in the roughly 8096 m2 area of the stadium to be reconstructed at Vilniaus St. 2 in the central part of Kretinga. Historical plans show the monastery orchard at this location within the Kretinga Bernardine monastery and the Church of the Annunciation building complex. The test pits yielded isolated 17th-20th-century finds and the remnants of a masonry foundation, the successive survey 19(?)-20th-century finds. The archaeological data failed to identify this building and no historical sources mention it. An architectural evaluation established that it could have been built in the 17th century, i. e., during the monastery’s founding, and destroyed around the first half of the 18th century when the city and monastery endured many losses and considerable destruction

2022 m. buvo vykdoma Šiaulių dvaro sodybos (UK 626), dar vadinamos Didždvariu, parko (UK 26490) rekonstrukcija, kurios metu remiantis ikonografine medžiaga ir 2017 m. žvalgomųjų tyrimų rezultatais buvo atkurtas XIX a. pabaigos dvaro parko takų tinklas, sutvarkyti želdiniai, įrengta parko infrastruktūra. Parko tvarkybos darbų vietose buvo atlikti žvalgomieji tyrimai ir žvalgymai. In 2022, in the area of the Šiauliai Manor Park that was undergoing renovations, 10 test pits with a total area of 20 m2 were excavated, and a 3,418 m2 area was surveyed along the walking paths (paths 1-8) and utility trenches, which were dug for lighting cables (trenches 1-9). The remains of 11 structures (buildings 1-11) and 2 storage pits (pits 1, 2) were recorded during the surveys. Building 1 was constructed of grooved brick and contained a vaulted cellar. This was presumed to be the “Great Palace” of the old manor, which was built in the second half of the 17th-18th centuries. The majority of the buildings were dated to the 17th century (buildings 2-7, 9, 11), whereas buildings 8 and 10 were dated to the 17th - start of the 18th centuries. A total of 3,724 archaeological finds were collected, of which 79 % were from Pit 1. The majority of the finds were ceramics, predominantly sherds of rustic pottery. There were also panel, cornice and pot-shaped stove tiles, window and bottle glass, and coins dating to the 17th-20th centuries

Vilniaus mieste, sklype M. K. Čiurlionio g. 110, Vilniaus universitetas įgyvendina projektą „Vilniaus universiteto Botanikos sodo infrastruktūros objektų atnaujinimas didinant galimybes plėtoti švietėjišką ir kultūrinę veiklą“. Tyrimų vieta patenka į jėzuitų vienuolyno ir kitų statinių komplekso (UK 33873) bei Vingio parko (UK 30663) teritorijas. In 2022, a 1,413 m2 area was scanned with georadar and 19 test pits of various sizes (total area of 82 m2) were excavated at the Jesuit Palace site at 110 M. K. Čiurlionio St. in Vilnius. Although it was well known that the palace was completely demolished in 1870, the SW part of the building remained intact and was unearthed during the excavation. Furthermore, a brick fence foundation was uncovered to the N of the palace which belonged to the main entrance road. A layer of dark grey sand 10-40 cm thick was observed in test pits 1, 5-8, 12, and 14-18, and was dated to the 17th-18th centuries based on associated finds

Kruonio miestelyje (Kaišiadorių r., Kruonio sen.), sklype Slavų g. 11, planuojamo naujo pagalbinio ūkinio pastato statybos vietoje buvo atlikti detalieji tyrimai. Tyrimų metu ištirta viena 4,5 x 3,5 m dydžio perkasa (15,75 m2).In 2022, a single trench (total area of 15.75 m2) was excavated at the Kruonis Manor site, located at 11 Slavų St. (Kaišiadorys district). A stone foundation bound with brick rubble and lime mortar was discovered at a depth of approx. 50 cm (Habs = 117.03 m). The foundation should be dated to the 19th century, since the building itself must have been built after the Napoleonic wars with Russia in 1812. A 15-30 cm thick, dark grey sand layer was recorded under the foundations, and it contained 16th-17th-century potsherds that are likely associated with Kruonis Manor

2022 m. In 2022, during the reconstruction of an inverted siphon culvert in Vilnius, an exploratory excavation was carried out in an area of 375 m2 on T. Kosciuškos St. and Trispalvės Avenue. An archaeological layer 0.2-2 m thick dating back to the 20th century, with finds ranging from the 17th to the 20th centuries, was discovered. The excavations revealed a masonry structure: the remains of a bridge. The masonry was made of large field stones and reddish bricks. The top and the W part of the masonry structure was disturbed. The exposed structure consisted of two longitudinally compressed parts. The bricks measured: 27.5 x 15 x 5.5 cm; ? x 13.5 x ? cm; ? x 13.5 x 5.5 cm; 27 x ? x 8 cm; and ? x 13.5 x 6.5 cm. They were bound with a whitish lime mortar with a medium-coarse gravel aggregate. The structure is thought to have been built no later than the first half of the 18th century

KPIP UAB „Virmalda“ užsakymu 2021 m. lapkritį - 2022 m. lapkritį tęsė 2019 m. pradėtus detaliuosius tyrimus (ATL 2019 metais, 2020, p. 148-157) Vilniaus Žemutinės pilies teritorijoje, Arsenalo g. 1, sklype priešais Pilininko namą (UK 24707) ir Gedimino kalno V atraminę sieną. Tyrimai tęsti po technologinės pertraukos. 2021-2022 m. tirta 12 perkasų (jų numeracija nuo 2019 m. tęstinė), kurių bendras plotas sudarė 352,55 m2. Taip pat tirti 6 šurfai (bendras 63 m2 plotas). The KPIP, after a hiatus in 2021-2022, continued its investigation with the excavation of 12 trenches (totalling 352.55 m2) and 6 test pits (63 m2), the numeration continuing that used in 2019, on the plot at Arsenalo St. 1, which is on the grounds of Vilnius Lower Castle and opposite the Castellans House and the W retaining wall of Gediminas Hill. Trenches 2, 7, and 12-18 were excavated to a variable predetermined depth at the courtyard site and yielded cultural layers as old as the late 17th-18th centuries and containing typical finds: pottery, structural ceramics (stove and roof tiles), etc. Trenches 15-17 revealed the foundation of a late 17th-century building that stood alongside the path to the Church of Sts Anne and Barbara. Trenches 5, 10 and part of 18 were excavated at the site of utility lines and yielded the remains of former wooden structures and cultural layers as old as the 16th century. The structures revealed in Trench 11 at the site of a collapsed cellar inside the building show that the cellar had several stages of existence. During an earlier one, perhaps during the houses construction in the 16th century, it had a wooden roof and vertical walls. The later brick vaulting with ends set into the walls eventually collapsed, most likely in the late 17th - early 18th century. Because no bricks from the central part of the vaulting were found, theymust have been used elsewhere and the cellar was used in the second half of the 18th century as a rubbish pit, which yielded a large quantity of household ceramics and other finds from the Castellans house and the surrounding area. The investigation in the courtyard area yielded typical finds characteristic of the 17th-18th centuries, but those from Trench 11 (in the former cellar) reflect life in the Lower Castle during the late 17th - first half of the 18th century. Test pits were excavated at the site of future utility line access shafts. Test Pits 3-4, 6, and 8 were excavated down to the 17th-18th-century layer, but Test Pits 5 and 7 yielded only a backfill layer left by Tautavičius’ mid-20th-century investigation

2021 m. lapkritį TIM atliko detaliuosius tyrimus Trakų salos piliavietės (UK 3492) centrinių rūmų (UK 29964) terasoje. Kasinėjimai vykdyti planuojamų įrengti takų ir panduso vietose. Perkasos tirtos iki projektinio gylio. The TIM 2021 excavation (17 trenches totalling 288.88 m2) at the site of footpaths and a ramp on the terrace of the castles central palace were conducted to a predetermined depth of 1.4-1.5 m at the ramp site (excavations 1-5) and up to 40-50 cm at the footpath sites (excavations 6-17). The majority of the trenches (3-7, 9-10,13-17) revealed 20th-century disturbances or a layer of coarse rubble from the destruction of the castle walls. Trenches 1, 2, 8, 11, and 12 yielded a 14th-17th-century cultural layer containing abundant sherds of household pottery, metal artefacts, and coins. Trench 1 yielded, atop the former ground’s surface, a charcoaly layer that should be connected with the initial construction stage of the castle, which burned down before its completion. The stratigraphy and radiocarbon dating allow the layer to be dated to the 14th century. Trenches 8 and 11 revealed a 20-35 cm thick layer of dark grey gravelly sand, the late 14th-17th-century surface of the central palaces terrace
