For the world-famous anti-war novel by Jaroslav Hašek Osudy dobrého vojáka Švejka za světové války several novelistic or documentary continuations were created in the Czech literature. Each continuation was of different genre and it was centered around a different topic. At present a topical and unique paraphrase of this classical novel by the author using the pseudonym Sigi Bigstain was published. In his novel Sigi Bigstain introduced a fictive character – the grandson of the famous „good soldier“. The author presents the character’s adventures within the framework of the original Hašek´s trilogy using also original Hašek’s poetic means. The adventures are also set within the context of the genre of humouristic prose and social satire and they are related to some features of the present times, often being both tragic and grotesque
Sexuality in school physical education from the perspective of teachers
No full textV současné době se zvyšuje potřeba ochrany žáků, dbá se na bezpečné prostředí, což se promítá do přístupu k žákům v přímé pedagogické praxi. Bezpečí v oblasti sexuality je významnou součástí vhodného přístupu pedagogů k žákům. V České republice není mnoho studií věnovaných tématu sexuality ve vztahu učitel a žák. V předmětu tělesné výchovy (TV) dochází k jiným formám kontaktu žáka a pedagoga. Na základě teorií interpersonálního vztahu, interakčního doteku a neuropsychologických teorií je možné považovat dotek za významnou součást učitelské profese, která zejména v oboru TV nabývá specifického významu. Cílem výzkumu bylo zjistit a popsat, co pro učitele tělesné výchovy znamená sexualita a dotek v jejich profesi. Hlavní výzkumná otázka byla formulována takto: „Jak učitelé tělesné výchovy vnímají a interpretují sexualitu ve výuce.“ Jedná se o kvalitativní výzkum provedený formou vícepřípadové studie. Byli vybráni 3 učitelé tělesné výchovy působící na základních a středních školách, se kterými byly provedeny hloubkové polostrukturované rozhovory. Výpovědi trenérů byly analyzovány za pomoci kódování dat, metody vytváření trsů a metody zachycení vzorců. Z výsledků výzkumu vyplývá, že učitelé tělesné výchovy významně ovlivňují vývoj žákovy sexuality a genderové identity, protože jsou v blízkém fyzickém i komunikačním kontaktu se svými žáky. Klíčovou roli hraje citlivá verbální komunikace bez dehonestujících poznámek a posměšků, která posiluje vzájemnou důvěru mezi učitelem a žákem. Pro bezpečí žáků i samotných učitelů je důležité zařadit témata sexuální výchovy do pregraduální přípravy budoucích učitelů tělesné výchovy.Today, there is an increasing need to protect pupils and to ensure a safe environment, which is reflected in the approach to pupils in direct teaching practice. Safety in the area of sexuality is an important part of the appropriate approach of educators to pupils. In the Czech Republic, there are not many studies devoted to the topic of sexuality in the teacher-pupil relationship. In the subject of physical education (PE), other forms of pupil-teacher contact occur. On the basis of theories of interpersonal relationship, interactional touch and neuropsychological theories, touch can be considered as an important part of the teaching profession, which, especially in the field of TV, takes on a specific meaning. The aim of this research was to identify and describe what sexuality and touch mean to physical education teachers in their profession. The main research question was formulated as "How do physical education teachers perceive and interpret sexuality in teaching." This is a qualitative research conducted in the form of a multi-case study. Three physical education teachers working in primary and secondary schools were selected and in-depth semi-structured interviews were conducted with them. The coaches\u27 statements were analyzed using data coding, clustering and pattern capture methods. The research findings suggest that physical education teachers significantly influence the development of students\u27 sexuality and gender identity because they are in close physical and communicative contact with their students. Sensitive verbal communication without derogatory remarks and taunts plays a key role in fostering mutual trust between teacher and pupil. For the safety of pupils and teachers themselves, it is important to include sex education topics in the undergraduate training of future physical education teachers
