Teze k revizi středoškolských kurikulárních dokumentů pro český jazyk a literaturu
No full textUpon the discussion of academic experts and teachers about the revision of the Framework Educational Programme (FEP) for basic schools three theses concering the secondary school curriculum were formulated. The first one stresses the importance of agreement between FEPs and other teaching proces components (supporting materials, textbooks, school educational programmes, school-leaving exams, entrance exams and the practice as well). The second the sis demands compliance (and not only transfer) of the revised FEP for basic education and that for secondary schools. The third thesis adresses the perceived lack of purpose of teaching lite rature at secondary schools. It is believed that the revised FEP could make the purpose clearer

The greatest attention is paid to the level of spelling, both capitalization and other spelling phenomena. Conflicts on the morphological and word-formation levels are also examined

The 200th anniversary of the birth and the 140th anniversary of the passing of the founder of Czech national music, Bedřich Smetana, is the strongest incentive for organising The Year of Czech Music. The author of this paper refers to the edition of Smetana’s diaries from his school years and points out the problems associated with musical recitation that were topical in the 19th century. The author also analyses problematic passages in the librettos of Smetana’s operas. In the closing section of the paper some suggestions to incorporate The Year of Czech Music 2024 in teaching at Czech primary and secondary schools are presented
