Defining the main ethical and leading qualities of school principals
No full textΣκοπός της παρούσας έρευνας ήταν ο ακριβής προσδιορισμός της έννοιας του «καλού» εκπαιδευτικού στελέχους μέσω της ανίχνευσης των σημαντικότερων ηθικών και ηγετικών χαρακτηριστικών του. Στην κατεύθυνση αυτή, κρίθηκε απαραίτητη η συμμετοχή αποκλειστικά εν ενεργεία εκπαιδευτικών στελεχών (Διευθυντών σχολικών μονάδων). Ο προσδιορισμός των κυριότερων ηθικών και ηγετικών χαρακτηριστικών ενός εκπαιδευτικού στελέχους επιτεύχθηκε ως εξής:
Μέσω βιβλιογραφικής έρευνας εντοπίστηκαν τα δέκα (10) κυριότερα ηθικά και τα έντεκα (11) κυριότερα ηγετικά χαρακτηριστικά ενός ηγέτη. Στη συνέχεια, αρχικά σε πιλοτική έρευνα είκοσι πέντε (25) Διευθυντών και Διευθυντριών σχολικών μονάδων πρωτοβάθμιας και δευτεροβάθμιας εκπαίδευσης, και στη συνέχεια στην κυρίως έρευνα, με εκατό (100) συμμετέχοντες από όλες τις περιφέρειες της χώρας, ζητήθηκε ο προσδιορισμός των πέντε (5) σημαντικότερων χαρακτηριστικών από κάθε κατηγορία και η κατάταξη σπουδαιότητάς τους. Η δικαιοσύνη, η ακεραιότητα και η ψυχραιμία (πραότητα) τοποθετήθηκαν από τα ερωτώμενα στελέχη στην κορυφή των κυριότερων ηθικών αρετών ενός εκπαιδευτικού στελέχους, ενώ οι οργανωτικές δεξιότητες, η ικανότητα έμπνευσης των υφισταμένων και η ενσυναίσθηση επιλέχθηκαν ως τα σημαντικότερα ηγετικά χαρακτηριστικά του.The purpose of the present research was the precise determination of the concept of a "good" educational leader through the detection of their most important ethical and leadership characteristics. In this direction, it was considered necessary to exclusively participate in active educational staff (Principals of school units). The identification of the main ethical and leadership characteristics of an educational leader was achieved as follows:
Through bibliographic research, the ten (10) main ethical and the eleven (11) main leadership characteristics of a leader were identified. Then, initially in a pilot survey of twenty-five (25) Principals of primary and secondary level schools, and then in the main survey, with one hundred (100) participants from all regions of the country, it was requested to identify the five (5) most important features from each category and their ranking of importance. Justice (fairness), integrity and calmness (gentleness) were placed by the Principals interviewed at the top of the main ethical virtues of an educational leader, while organizational skills, the ability to inspire subordinates and empathy were chosen as their most important leadership characteristics

Get PDFΣτη μελέτη αυτή παρουσιάζονται για πρώτη φορά και εκδίδονται κριτικά τα μεγαλυνάρια στον άγιο Νικόλαο που συνέγραψε ο πατριάρχης Αλεξανδρείας Αθανάσιος Β΄. Τα υμνογραφικά αυτά κείμενα παραδίδονται από τον κώδικα Σινά 681 και αποδεικνύουν ότι τα ψαλλόμενα σε αγίους μεγαλυνάρια είχαν μπει στη λειτουργική πράξη της μονής Σινά ήδη από τον 14ο αιώνα.This study presents, for the first time and in a critical edition, the megalynaria to St. Nicholas written by the Patriarch of Alexandria, Athanasius II (ca. 1275-ca.1315). These hymnographical texts are delivered from codex Sinaiticus gr. 669 and prove that the singing of megalynaria to saints had entered the liturgical practice of the Sinai monastery as early as the 14th century.
 
Design, implementation and evaluation of an integrated intervention of Complementary School Distance Education to primary school students for the Greek Language
Get PDFΟ στόχος της παρούσας μελέτης ήταν να διερευνήσει την αποτελεσματικότητα μιας νέας ολοκληρωμένης παρέμβασης συμπληρωματικής σχολικής εξ αποστάσεως εκπαίδευσης με τη χρήση διαδραστικού εκπαιδευτικού υλικού σε μαθητές της Ε΄ Δημοτικού για τη γραφή και την παραγωγή του γραπτού λόγου. Το εκπαιδευτικό υλικό που δημιουργήθηκε ήταν ένα μαθησιακό αντικείμενο (e-me-content). Μέσα από τη διεξαγωγή της έρευνας απαντήθηκαν τα ερωτήματα: πώς οι συμμετέχοντες/ουσες μαθητές/τριες αποτίμησαν το εκπαιδευτικό διαδραστικό υλικό που εστιάζει στη γραφή και στην παραγωγή του γραπτού λόγου ως προς τη μάθηση, τον σχεδιασμό και τη δέσμευση του όπως επίσης και πώς οι συμμετέχοντες/ουσες αποτίμησαν την εξ αποστάσεως εκπαιδευτική εμπειρία τους. Η παρούσα μελέτη είναι σημαντική, μιας και ενίσχυσε την υπάρχουσα βιβλιογραφία στο πεδίο της εξ αποστάσεως συμπληρωματικής εκπαίδευσης και της ανάπτυξης διαδραστικού εκπαιδευτικού υλικού στην πρωτοβάθμια εκπαίδευση. Η έρευνα επιχείρησε να καλύψει το κενό που παρατηρήθηκε στις μελέτες που έχουν πραγματοποιηθεί στο ερευνητικό πεδίο συμπληρωματικής εξ αποστάσεως εκπαίδευσης για το μάθημα της Γλώσσας στο δημοτικό. Η μεθοδολογική προσέγγιση που επιλέχτηκε για τη συγκεκριμένη έρευνα ήταν η μελέτη περίπτωσης (case study) με διαδικασίες ποσοτικής και ποιοτικής έρευνας. Σύμφωνα με τα αποτελέσματα της έρευνας οι συμμετέχοντες/ουσες μαθητές/τριες αξιολόγησαν θετικά το διαδραστικό εκπαιδευτικό υλικό και την εξ αποστάσεως εμπειρία τους. Οι εξ αποστάσεως δραστηριότητες του υλικού βοήθησαν τους/τις μαθητές/τριες να κατανοήσουν και να εξοικειωθούν με τα διαφορετικά είδη λόγου και κειμένων και να εκδηλώσουν ενδιαφέρον και διάθεση για τη συγγραφή.The aim of this research was to investigate the effectiveness of a new integrated intervention of Complementary Distance Education using interactive educational material to support writing skills of students in the 5th grade primary class. The educational material created was a learning object (e-me-content) and a Course Presentation in the digital platform e-me. The following questions were answered by the research: how the participating students evaluated the educational interactive material in terms of learning, design and engagement as well as how the participants evaluated their distance education experience. The present paper is important, since it reinforced the existing bibliography in the field of Complementary Distance Education and the development of interactive educational material in primary education. The research attempted to fill the gap observed in the studies that have been carried out in the research field of Complementary Distance Education for the Greek language in primary school. The methodological approach chosen for this research was a case study that combined quantitative research procedures and qualitative research data in an individual school class. According to the results of the work, the participating students positively evaluated the interactive educational material and their distance experience. The distance activities of the material helped the students to understand and familiarize themselves with the different types of speech and texts and to show an interest and disposition for writing
Ψυχικές, Περιβαλλοντικές και Κοινωνικές Οικολογίες: Πνευματικότητα και το Μοντέλο των Ευτοπικών Οικοκοινοτήτων
Get PDFΗ παρούσα ανάλυση δομείται διεπιστημονικά πάνω στη σύνδεση της πνευματικότητας με τα πεδία της Ψυχολογίας, της Οικολογίας και της Κοινωνικής Ανθρωπολογίας. Στόχος είναι η διερεύνηση των όρων που συνδέουν ένα μη δυϊστικό φιλοσοφικό/ψυχολογικό μοντέλο με το όραμα μιας οικολογικής και κοινωνικο-πολιτικής πρακτικής. Για τη σύνδεση αυτή αξιοποιούνται τρεις φιλοσοφικές έννοιες από τη Βουδιστική φιλοσοφία: αλληλεξάρτηση, κενότητα και συμπόνια. Στο πρώτο μέρος, τίθενται οι προϋποθέσεις μιας μη-εγωικής ψυχολογίας αντλώντας από την Υπερπροσωπική θεωρία. Στο δεύτερο, συγκροτείται το πλαίσιο μιας Οικολογίας που συνδέεται με την πνευματικότητα. Στο τρίτο μέρος, παρουσιάζεται η πειραματική θέσμιση των οικοκοινοτήτων, σύμφωνα με το κοινωνικο-ανθρωπολογικό παράδειγμα των Εμπρόθετων/Ευτοπικών/Οραματικών Kοινοτήτων, σαν δυνατή απελευθερωτική πρακτική που θα μπορούσε να πραγματώσει τους προαναφερθέντες όρους
Όψεις οικονομικής ψήφου στην Ελλάδα την περίοδο της οικονομικής κρίσης (2012-2015)
Get PDFΣτο παρόν άρθρο επιχειρείται να αναλυθεί η επίδραση των αντιλήψεων των ψηφοφόρων για την κατάσταση της οικονομίας στην ψήφο τους υπέρ ή κατά του κυβερνώντος κόμματος, σε τρεις εκλογικές αναμετρήσεις που πραγματοποιήθηκαν κατά την περίοδο της οικονομικής κρίσης στην Ελλάδα (Ιούνιος 2012-Σεπτέμβριος 2015). Φαίνεται ότι: 1) Υπάρχει στατιστικά σημαντική σχέση μεταξύ των αντιλήψεων για την οικονομία και της ψήφου. 2) Οι αντιλήψεις για την οικονομία προβλέπουν καλύτερα από άλλους παράγοντες την ψήφο στις εκλογές του Ιουνίου του 2012, αλλά λιγότερο καλά στις επόμενες δύο εκλογές. 3) Ωστόσο, όταν αυτές τεθούν ως θέμα θέσης, αποκτούν μεγαλύτερη προβλεπτική ισχύ

Αρχικά, επιχειρείται ο ορισμός βασικών εννοιών, όπως ενεργητική ευθανασία, υποβοηθούμενη αυτοκτονία, αξιοπρέπεια και ψυχολογική οδύνη. Στη συνέχεια, αναλύεται η τρέχουσα κατάσταση σε επιλεγμένα κράτη, εξετάζοντας τη νομοθεσία, τα σχέδια νόμων, τη νομολογία κ.λπ. και επιχειρείται μια σύγκριση των διαφορετικών καθεστώτων στα κράτη αυτά.The contribution focuses on best practices regarding informed consent procedures in sensitive areas of medical practice, specifically death with dignity. Initially, attention is given to defining key terms such as active euthanasia, assisted suicide, dignity, and psychological suffering. Subsequently, the paper analyzes the current situation in selected states, examining legislation, draft laws, jurisprudence, etc. Finally, a comparison of the legislation of individual states is provided

The metaphor of the boundaries of being in-between Metamorphosis and primal scenes unfolds the need of debating filmic object´s post-mediation and its immersive experience today. Get PDFThe subject of this essay are the ceramic kilns that were identified and investigated in the region of Corinth. Two kilns were excavated in the area of ancient Sikyon and date back to the Hellenistic era and five kilns were discovered at Kamari of the municipality of Xylokastro, dated to the Roman period. In addition to the structural and functional elements of the kilns, the ceramic finds resulting from the excavation are also examined. The study of these humble monuments is a useful tool for reconstructing the social and economic organization of the ceramic workshop during antiquity and contributes to the promotion of the kilns’ research in the region of the Peloponnese.The subject of this essay are the ceramic kilns that were identified and investigated in the region of Corinth.
