    Impact of Price, Service, Environment and Facilities on Customer Satisfaction in Beauty Parlors “A Case of Istanbul Turkey”

    This study was investigated to determine the factors that influence customer satisfaction on Beauty parlors in Istanbul Turkey. Quantitative research was conducted from four famous Beauty parlors of Istanbul city are Sach Beauty Parlor, Capa Beauty Parlor, Le Modern Hair salon, and Galaxy Beauty Parlor. The data was collected from one hundred respondents, twenty-five from each of the four beauty parlors and hair salons. The purposive sampling technique was used in data collection. Data were analyzed in SPSS 22.0 software. Variables were tested through Cronbach\u27s alpha that indicates an excellent internal consistency of all scales which were adopted and tested (0.892). Co-relation Pearson method used to determine the relationship among Price, Quality, Environment and Facilities and customer satisfaction variables. Demographic profiles of Respondents were shown by Frequency Tables. The two factors “Quality Service and Rates” highly influence customer satisfaction, Regression analysis shows the positive effect of price, quality, environment, and facilities on customer satisfaction. This study further suggests that improve more quality of services to satisfy the customers as well as to get more success in the business of beauty parlors

    Nexus between Remittances, Corruption and Poverty: A Case of Pakistan

    The study\u27s primary objective is to explore the impact of remittances, corruption, and governance on the poverty of Pakistan. For this purpose, the study uses data period 1996-2019. The study applies the Autoregressive Distributed Lag (ARDL) approach for estimation. The error correction model (ECM) can be derived using a simple linear transformation that integrates short-term adjustments with long-run equilibrium without falling long-run association. The results indicate that personal remittances, governance, and control of corruption have a significantly negative effect on poverty. The sign of a negative error correction term indicates that considered variables in the model have a long-run and stable relationship. The results proposed that personal remittances, good governance, and corruption affect poverty. Therefore, the study recommends the policymakers encourage overseas Pakistanis to send their earnings to Pakistan through legal transfer. The government should strengthen the institutions to increase their effectiveness and control of corruption

    The purpose of this study is to investigate how Environmental Consciousness mediates the linkage between the Green Human Resource Management Bundle Practices and Sustainable Performance in the HEIs of Pakistan and this mediating relationship is totally overlooked in the formerly studies. Respectively, the study also aims to measures the association of Environmental Consciousness and Green Intellectual Capital with sustainable performance. Data for this study were gathered from HR Managers who were directly involved in the implementation of green HRM practices, as well as Chief Managers and General Managers who were directly involved in the implementation of Sustainable Performance in the education sector of Pakistan. This study's findings confirm that Green Human Resource Management practices bundle significantly improves sustainable performance. Likewise, this study finding confirms that environmental consciousness and green intellectual capital serves as a bridge between green HRM practices and sustainable performance. This study provides valuable practical implications for top management and HR Managers in the Education sector who are involved in policy making and ensuring environmental consciousness toward the implementation of Green Human Resource Management practices bundle to achieve sustainable performance

Among the most watched programs on television in Pakistan today are the ‘dramas.’ This meticulous genre has the ability and conviction to rear a question against the problems of society. In this context, the TV Channels of Pakistan has produced remarkable finest dramas which depicted a clear reflection of our society’s evils and taboos in heart touching way. From the last decade there has been a shift in the theme, production and picturization of TV drama. Women are critical to almost each and every story of the dramas. Our majority dramas are focusing on the psychological violence against women either they are in the progressive characters or in repressive roles. TV Dramas advocate, whether subtly or forcefully, and it definitely affects how the audience thinks. Psychological violence in TV Dramas affect person’s psychological strength like it affects behavior directly through the content shown in these dramas. Females are the main viewers of these dramas so they usually make their assumptions towards reality by watching these dramas. The research study is aimed at analyzing the perceptions of young females regarding psychological violence against women by watching in the TV dramas. For this purpose survey analysis has been conducted from the female drama viewers. The statistical test Chi Square has been used to analyze the data. The results of the study prove that females are watching these dramas with interest but influenced from the psychological violence against women in the form depression and fears for future life. Moreover, the study proves that the Pakistani dramas are losing dignity of women in their content

    Online Health Information and female users; Needs, Usages and Effects

    The use of internet for health information is on increase particularly among females. Although as a determinant of the effectiveness of health information, the role of ‘Information seeking’ is recognized as much important as the ‘content’ of the source. Little research, however, has investigated online health information (OHI) seeking behavior among female users. Present study attempts to contribute in bridging this gap. Due to the exploratory nature of the study, focus group was found most appropriate tool. Eight focus groups were conducted from October 2019 to March 2020, bracketing a total of 70 females, who reported to use online sources for their personal health or the health-related issues faced by their dear ones. The participants were asked to converse about the needs for which they seek online health information, the techniques they use to search and select a source , the extent to which they found the acquired information as useful and the effects(if any),they had experienced. Discussions were converted into transcripts and thematic analysis was performed. Significant information patterns were identified and categorized. The findings identified Internet as to be the initial and most frequently used source of information, and guidance regarding health related issues among female users. In most of the cases, the use was need- oriented and participants reported to practice similar searching patterns i.e. use of key words and giving preference to preliminary results. Website was reported to be the most frequently visited and most trusted source of OHI followed by YouTube, particularly among middle age users whereas young age users consult diverse sources including websites, you tube, instagram and blogs. However, in making health related decisions, the role of online health sources was found that of a supplementary source. The information collected was used either to get an idea or to self-diagnose a health issue based on symptoms. Many reported to use online sources in order to seek reassurance after consulting medical professionals. Socio-demographics and personality traits were found significant determinants of the decisions related to content selection and source credibility. Both positive and negative effects of this convenient and easily accessible source of health information were reported. Young participants were found to have Cyberchondria due to extensive use of OHI. OHI is mainly used by females to gratify informational needs and to get immediate relief from anxiety.     Binge Watching on Internet Television Networks & Its Effects on Youth

    There is an increase trend of binge watching on the Internet Television Network (ITN) particularly among youth. Scholarly interest in this new concept has produced many researches focusing on the phenomenon of internet (ITN) with particular focus on binge watching .Limited studies, however, have been conducted on the effects of binge watching on ITN . Present study was an attempt to fill this gap. The theoretical foundations were based on Uses and gratifications theory and the Model of the antecedents and consequences of Binge Watching. The major objectives of this study were to find out the consumption patterns and effects (physical, psychological and social) of binge watching on youth. Considering the nature of the study, survey was found to be the most appropriate method for data collection. Data on consumption patterns and self-perceived physical, psychological and social effects of binge watching on youth was collected from 500 students of Lahore by applying the purposive sampling technique. SPSS Pearson’s Product Moment Correlation Coefficient was used to test the hypotheses. The results discovered that youth were profound to binge watching, especially at night to avoid disturbance and watch back to back episodes without interruption. The needs which motivate the youth to binge watch included, companionship, stress-relief, escape from the tension and worries, avoid negative feelings and to be able to present oneself as updated in peers. The findings revealed significant correlation between binge watching and physical (r (500) = .179, p < .05), psychological (r (500) = .174, p < .05) and social (r (500) = .178, p < .05) effects. The major effects of binge watching on physical health were disturbed sleeping habits, muscles ache, weight gain and weak eyesight. Isolation, depression, absent mindedness during day time and anxiety were main psychological effects as identified by the results of the study. The most social effect reported was to prefer binge watching over human relations. The research shows that binge watching may be a fun for the youth, but they are highly addictive to them, which ultimately causing many physical, psychological and social effects

    Patriotic songs: A strategic Tool in Hybrid Warfare

    This research intends to examine and analyze the significant strategic tool of hybrid warfare, patriotism, in the songs produced by the ISPR. For this purpose, our study applied quantitative measures to analyze the textual and visual elements of patriotism. To provide a comprehensive detail, regarding the elements of patriotism, this study analyzed videos of the songs by creating 7 textual and 8 visual elements with respect to these two categories. Recently, when Pakistan Army is facing multiple complex challenges of internal and external threats and confrontation, the war across every domain has become obvious in this multifaceted battlefield which support military operations and develop favorable emotions and behavior among the nation, and minimize the negative effects of any loss. Motivation and willingness to sacrifice were found out to be major themes in patriotic songs produced by ISPR along with the focus on sacrifices and efforts of armed forces of Pakistan

    Factors that Influence Consumers’ Future Purchase Intention

    The main aim of this study is to examine the key factors that influence future purchase intention and shape the consumers’ attitude towards brand social media pages. Data were collected through a questionnaire survey from Lahore city, Pakistan. A total number of 380 responses were collected from which 274 were analyzed by using structural equation modeling. The outcomes of the study shows that brand credibility, brand familiarity, and attitude towards brand social media page are the key factors of future purchase intention. Moreover, the study found a negative significant association of brand familiarity and e-wom with future purchase intention for the female group. The study further found that involvement is positively significantly associated with consumers\u27 attitudes towards social media. So far; no study examines the factors of future purchase intention based on gender. This study contributes to explaining the inconsistent results between e-WOM and future purchase intention. Implication concerning offers for managerial brand marketers, firms, and research practices and directions for future research presented.

The paper hunt for to elucidate how women through their motivation and entrepreneurship self-efficacy are maintaining their entrepreneurial performance due to their resilience. This paper receives the positivist approach utilizing PROCESS by Hayes in SPSS. Information was collected from ladies entrepreneurs working in twin cities of Islamabad and Rawalpindi.  Findings of the current study have revealed that Pakistan being a collectivist culture serves as a source for women to seek support from their social relations from within their own families but there are a lot of problems on the flip side due to their family responsibilities and stereotypes associated with role of women in the family. The findings further uncovered the role of resilience of the women entrepreneurs that is needed to adapt especially in times of crises to accomplish their entrepreneurial expeditions. This research paper subsidizes to a very less addressed area which is a second glass ceiling in the world of entrepreneurship.  It sheds light to make women visible in developing society in context of the new normal during ongoing pandemic. The paper also explains how the gender role stereotypes act as a hurdle in path of a women entrepreneurs and the role of family support if present in curbing the effect of such hurdles.
