Peningkatan Kepedulian Mahasiswa kepada Masyarakat Pesisir melalui Kegiatan Bakti Sosial
The high vulnerability and damage to the coastal areas of Karawang Regency, including the impact of coastal erosion, has further exacerbated the region's high poverty level. For this reason, Universitas Singaperbangsa Karawang and other universities took the initiative to organize community service in the form of social service activities involving students with various designed objectives. Firstly, this activity is expected to help with the problems faced by coastal communities in Karawang Regency. Secondly, this activity educates students to increase their concern for fellow human beings, especially coastal communities. Thirdly, this activity is expected to improve the image of Universitas Singaperbangsa Karawang in the looks of the people of Karawang Regency through its contribution to providing solutions to various problems the community faces. This activity was accomplished well, collaborating with various parties, particularly the apparatus of Sedari Village, Cibuaya Subdistrict, Karawang Regency
Pendampingan Manajemen Kewirausahaan Melalui Pembuatan Eco Enzim dan Sabun Herbal Ramah Lingkungan dengan Memanfaatkan Limbah Rumah Tangga
The urgency of the Community Service Activities (PPM) that will be conducted is in accordance with the challenges faced by partners in the development of professional human resources for Advanced Indonesia. Specifically, family welfare requires further development through the provision of skills to women who are economically unproductive. The entrepreneurial spirit of women in the city of Yogyakarta, particularly mothers in Kampung Kuncen RT 21 RW 05, Pakuncen Village, Wirobrajan District, Yogyakarta City, is still relatively low. They require training to achieve independence, particularly in the field of green economy, in order to establish prosperous families by prioritizing environmental sustainability. The issue of domestic waste, which is the leftover vegetables and fruits produced by households, is also urgent. This waste is being disposed of in landfills or residential areas, which will contaminate the surrounding environment. Additionally, Yogyakarta is presently experiencing a waste disposal emergency. In reality, household waste, including unspent vegetables and fruits, can be repurposed as eco enzyme materials. These materials can be employed as air fresheners, cleansing agents, and as supplementary ingredients in the production of herbal soap. Furthermore, soap can be produced from cooking oil residue. The urgency of Community Service activities, particularly the issue of managing household waste (environmental aspect) and the issue of enhancing the abilities of women in assisting the family economy (economic aspect). Mentoring activities for the production of botanical soap and eco enzymes are proposed as a solution to these issues. The objective of the PPM activities is to enhance the comprehension and capabilities of women in the field of entrepreneurship by providing them with independence training through mentoring in the production of environmentally friendly herbal soap. This soap is made by utilizing used cooking oil as the primary ingredient and fruit and vegetable waste as raw materials for the production of eco enzymes, which are used as soap additives. PPM activities are intended to enhance Key Performance Indicator (KPI) 3 UNY, which refers to lecturers who engage in activities outside of the classroom. Furthermore, four students who are participating in this PPM activity have expertise in the preparation and management of a PPM activity. Sosialisasi Sistem Reproduksi Manusia untuk Mengoptimalkan Perilaku Sehat Remaja pada Siswa SMPN Satu Atap 1 Pagar Dewa Lampung Barat
Seiring meningkatnya tren temuan kasus penyakit infeksi menular seksual di Indonesia, maka kesehatan organ reproduksi menjadi aspek penting yang harus diperhatikan oleh remaja saat ini. Kegiatan ini ditujukan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman sekaligus mengoptimalkan perilaku sehat remaja melalui pemberian sosialisasi tentang sistem reproduksi manusia. Metode penyuluhan serta sosialisasi yang digunakan adalah ceramah dan diskusi interaktif secara daring melalui aplikasi Zoom Meeting. Peserta kegiatan adalah 28 siswa SMPN Satu Atap 1 Pagar Dewa di Lampung Barat. Perubahan pemahaman dan perilaku diukur melalui angket dan soal yang diberikan sebelum dan sesudah kegiatan. Hasil pengukuran dengan angket menunjukkan adanya perubahan perilaku ke arah yang lebih positif, di antaranya terkait kebiasaan buruk jarang membersihkan organ kelamin, kebiasaan menggunakan celana ketat, dan kebiasaan menahan untuk buang air kecil. Kemudian, hasil angket juga menunjukkan terjadi peningkatan pemahaman peserta terhadap dampak perilaku seks bebas serta dan kemauan untuk mengkomunikasikan permasalahan pada organ reproduksi yang di alami dengan orang tua. Hasil pengukuran menggunakan soal juga menunjukkan hasil yang sama, dimana terjadi peningkatan berdasarkan nilai rerata N-Gain, yakni 0,09, meski dengan kategori rendah. Dengan demikian, kegiatan sosialisasi ini berkontribusi dalam meningkatkan kesadaran peserta kegiatan terhadap kesehatan organ reproduksi, mendorong perubahan perilaku yang lebih sehat, dan mencegah meningkatnya tren penyakit infeksi menular seksual di kalangan remaj
STORY OF PALAH TEMPLE IN EAST JAVA BATIK VISUALIZATION
Folktales are stories that are told for generations among the people of a region or country. Folklore often serves as a means to convey cultural values, morals, and traditional knowledge from one generation to the next. The purpose of this research is to describe the process of designing batik motifs using the idea of the Palah Temple story as an alternative to East Javanese batik. The research method uses the Double Diamond Model design research method. The Double Diamond Model consists of four stages: Discover, Define, Develop, and Deliver. In the initial stage, the design direction of the batik motif was determined by exploring sources of ideas to be used as a mood board. In the second stage, the researcher develops the moodboard by stylizing the motif development. The third stage is preparing the stylization of the batik motif development by preparing the motif composition. This research has yielded two themes and six developments of batik motifs. The fourth stage involves selecting the best motif to be realized as a long batik cloth prototype, measuring 250 x 115 cm, with the theme "Guardians of God's Wealth." The creation of the Temple Palah story in East Java batik visualization enriches the diversity of East Java batik motifs
Analisis Kesulitan Membaca Siswa Kelas 1 SDN Sukamaju Way Kanan Lampung
Penelitian ini menganalisis kesulitan membaca siswa kelas 1 SDN Sukamaju serta faktor-faktor penyebabnya. Selain itu, penelitian ini memberikan rekomendasi strategi untuk mengatasinya. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan observasi, wawancara, tes membaca, dan dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian dipilih secara purposive sampling berdasarkan rekomendasi guru. Data dianalisis dengan model Miles dan Huberman serta diuji keabsahannya melalui triangulasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kesulitan membaca siswa kelas 1 SDN Sukamaju mencakup kesulitan dalam mengenali huruf, menggabungkan suku kata, membaca kata secara utuh, membaca dengan lancar, serta memahami teks. Faktor-faktor yang menyebabkan kesulitan membaca dikategorikan menjadi faktor internal dan eksternal. Faktor internal meliputi kondisi fisik siswa dan kurangnya kesadaran akan pentingnya membaca, sementara faktor eksternal mencakup kurangnya dukungan orang tua dan minimnya motivasi dari lingkungan sekitar. Disarankan penggunaan strategi pembelajaran yang lebih efektif, peningkatan peran orang tua dalam mendampingi anak, serta lingkungan belajar yang mendukung di sekolah dan rumah. Kolaborasi antara guru, orang tua, dan lingkungan diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kemampuan membaca siswa secara optimal
Persepsi Guru terhadap Pelatihan Manajemen Lembaga untuk Meningkatkan Daya Saing TK Swasta
AbstrakPeningkatan daya saing lembaga pendidikan menjadi kebutuhan mendesak, terutama bagi sekolah swasta yang harus bersaing dengan minimnya bantuan pemerintah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi persepsi guru terhadap pelatihan manajemen lembaga di TK ABA. Dengan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam terhadap lima partisipan yang telah mengikuti pelatihan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru memperoleh pengetahuan strategi promosi, perubahan keyakinan dalam pengelolaan lembaga, strategi mengimplementasikan manajemen, dan faktor pendukung dan penghambat manajemen lembaga. Implikasi penelitian ini menyoroti pentingnya pelatihan berkelanjutan dan dukungan eksternal untuk memperkuat manajemen sekolah, sehingga daya saing lembaga dapat terus ditingkatkan.Teachers' Perceptions of Institutional Management Training to Improve Private School CompetitivenessAbstractIncreasing the competitiveness of educational institutions is an urgent need, especially for private schools that have to compete with minimal government assistance. This study aims to explore teachers' perceptions of institutional management training at ABA Kindergarten. Using a case study approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews with five participants who had attended the training. The results showed that teachers gained knowledge of promotion strategies, changes in beliefs in institutional management, strategies for implementing management, and supporting and inhibiting factors for institutional management. The implications of this study highlight the importance of ongoing training and external support to strengthen school management, so that institutional competitiveness can continue to be improved
Needs Analysis of Student Perception Scale Instruments on Chemical Learning Difficulties
The learning process is the mental activity of individuals in communicating with their environment which is invisible but can be proven through behavioral transformation in a positive direction. In reality, there are several difficulties faced by students such as students who have undergone a deep learning process but still have difficulty achieving learning achievements at school. Learning difficulties experienced by students must be diagnosed by the teacher which aims to determine the situation of student learning difficulties. However, there are obstacles in the unavailability of complete instruments to measure student learning difficulties and teachers have a lack of understanding of the use of measurement instruments. The questionnaire instrument will help teachers in diagnosing students' learning difficulties. Before its development, a needs analysis stage is needed to adjust the characteristics of the instrument design according to the data in the field. The needs analysis using a questionnaire consists of 3 aspects (17 questions) with 7 chemistry teacher participants in Yogyakarta. The needs analysis questionnaire has been validated by chemistry learning experts. The results of the data were analyzed using descriptive qualitative by presenting data or answers calculating frequencies and percentages. It was concluded that the development of a student perception scale instrument on chemistry learning difficulties has an urgency that is quite important because of the limitations or unavailability of these measurement instruments
From Molecules to Minds: Ontological and Epistemological Perspective of Global Warming and The Implementation in Science Education
The study was a qualitative research, employing ontological and epistemological approaches to explore the philosophy of global warming. Questionnaires and interviews were conducted with students and teachers, which examined whether the current implementation of global warming education aligns with ontological and epistemological perspective and propose recommendations to improve global warming education in science lesson. The ontological perspective begins with literature review that examines the unique of greenhouse gasses characterized as heat traps, focusing on microscopic view of vibrational modes of molecules and their impact on global warming. Furthermore, the epistemological perspective explored how researchers validate the scientific understanding of global warming and its impact on the environment. In addition, the questionnaire result showed that various teaching method, such as experiment, video, PhET simulation, teacher explanation, and internet exploration, were used. But most of students never see the microscopic view of vibrational greenhouse gas molecules that trap the heat. Students also did not evaluate and validate the influence of greenhouse gas concentration on increasing system temperature as epistemological approach. Therefore, the lesson of global warming especially the concept of greenhouse effect, needs an approach that integrates ontological and epistemological perspective, such integrating modeling or simulation in microscopic scale into experimental activities (bifocal modeling)
IMPLEMENTASI MODEL PEMBELAJARAN PROBLEM BASED LEARNING(PBL) MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR KOMPETENSI TRANSMISI MANUAL SISWA KELAS XI TKRO 2 SMK NASIONAL MALANG
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas XI TKRO 2 SMK Nasional Malang pada kompetensi sistem transmisi manual melalui implementasi model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL) yang didukung media interaktif Quizizz. Latar belakang penelitian adalah rendahnya hasil belajar siswa pada pembelajaran sebelumnya yang cenderung konvensional dan kurang melibatkan teknologi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang terdiri dari dua siklus, masing-masing meliputi tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Instrumen yang digunakan meliputi post test, dokumentasi, dan lembar observasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan hasil belajar siswa secara signifikan. Pada pra-siklus, rata-rata nilai siswa sebesar 57,08 dengan ketuntasan 0%. Setelah siklus I, rata-rata meningkat menjadi 75,83 dengan ketuntasan 75%. Pada siklus II, rata-rata nilai mencapai 85 dengan ketuntasan 96%. Implementasi PBL dengan media Quizizz terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan keterlibatan aktif siswa, kemampuan berpikir kritis, dan hasil belajar pada materi transmisi manual. Dengan demikian, model ini direkomendasikan untuk diterapkan secara lebih luas dalam pembelajaran vokasional yang menuntut keterampilan analitis dan praktis siswa
IMPLEMENTASI METODE PEMBELAJARAN DEMONSTRASI TERHADAP PENINGKATAN HASIL BELAJAR TEKNOLOGI DASAR OTOMOTIF SISWA SMK
Vocational High School (SMK) is a bridge to create graduates who have expertise in certain fields that are in accordance with the business and industrial world (DU/DI). In this case, SMK must prepare effective learning in all Light Vehicle Engineering (TKR) subjects including basic automotive technology which is the basis of lessons in the Light Vehicle Engineering Department. However, the learning approach used is still conventional so that student grades need to be improved and student motivation also needs to be improved. In connection with this, this study aims to improve student competence using the Demonstration Learning Method at SMKN 6 Malang. in the subject of Basic Automotive Technology. This study applies the Research (Demonstration) method using pre-test, post-test, field notes, and interview guidelines. After two meetings in two cycles. The results in the study were said to have increased because in cycle one the completion of 44.83% of knowledge increased by 100%. The increasing percentage of each cycle is seen from the average cycle one 75 for knowledge for cycle two the average knowledge gets 82.69 so that it exceeds the minimum criterion limit of 75. Student motivation also increases and student perceptions are also positive towards the implementation of demonstration learning. It can be understood that demonstration learning is able to increase the value of knowledge, skills, and student motivation in learning basic automotive technology subjects.
