SYSTEMATIC LITERATURE REVIEW PERBANDINGAN EFISIENSI TRANSMISI KENDARAAN

PATTERN OF ETHNOMATHEMATICS RESEARCH TOWARDS HISTORICAL BUILDINGS
Historical buildings are very useful for discovering mathematical concepts for educational purposes. This literature review aims to identify (1) the mathematical concepts that have not emerged in the exploration of historical buildings and (2) the research design most frequently used in ethnomathematics studies related to historical buildings. Using the PRISMA protocol, a total of 64 articles were analysed. The research primarily explores traditional houses, but also includes studies on other architecture like mosques, tombs, temples, museums, and monuments. The research results indicate that (1) the mathematical concept that has not emerged in the exploration of historical buildings is Number and Operations and (2) the most frequently used research design in ethnomathematics exploration studies for historical buildings is the ethnographic design. This review highlights the importance of expanding the scope of ethnomathematical studies both geographically and conceptually, and suggests potential applications in mathematics education to enhance cultural relevance. The study contributes to the preservation of local heritage by linking cultural practices with mathematical principles, offering valuable insights for both academic research and educational practice

ETHNOMATHEMATICS AND THE CURRICULUM OF TOMORROW: A FRAMEWORK FOR INCLUSIVE AND PROGRESSIVE EDUCATION
Ethnomathematics, the study of the relationship between culture and mathematical practices, has gained prominence as an approach to fostering inclusivity in education. This research paper explores how ethnomathematics can be integrated into modern curricula to create a framework for inclusive and progressive education. It reviews existing literature, presents a theoretical foundation, details methodologies for studying ethnomathematical practices, and discusses case studies demonstrating successful implementation. The paper further develops a framework for curriculum integration, considers challenges and strategies for implementation, and provides insights into future directions for ethnomathematics in education. The growing need for culturally responsive and inclusive education requires a place for ethnomathematics in curricula. Developed from the foundation of Vygotsky's (1978) theory of constructivist learning, Ladson-Billings' (1995) culturally responsive pedagogy, and Lave and Wenger's (1991) situated learning theory, this research investigates the nexus of ethnomathematics and progressive education models. This research uses a qualitative research approach involving a systematic literature review according to PRISMA guidelines, document analysis, and comparative case studies. The literature review establishes the main advantages and difficulties of ethnomathematics integration, analyzing approaches to embedding ethnomathematical principles into curriculum development. This study proposed a universal framework for Ethnomathematics integration into the curriculum. Through this thorough approach, the research highlights the potential of ethnomathematics to revolutionize mathematics education as a more inclusive, relevant, and socially responsive subject
Innovation in the Development of a CO₂ Laser Cutting Machine: Experimentation on Cutting Quality and Machine Precision
In the era of Industry 4.0, CO₂ laser cutting technology has been increasingly adopted across manufacturing, creative industries, and vocational education due to its precision, flexibility, and non-contact process. However, wood-based composites such as Medium Density Fibreboard (MDF) present challenges in laser machining, including thermal deformation, carbonization, and surface damage, necessitating further investigation into process parameters. This study designed and developed a CNC CO₂ Laser Cutting Machine with a 60 W laser source, dimensions of 160 × 100 × 85 cm, and a working area of 110 × 72 × 2 cm, integrating mechanical, optical, and control systems to improve efficiency and precision. The research method involved prototype design, fabrication, assembly, and iterative trials on acrylic, plywood, and MDF, with adjustments made to optimize power, cutting speed, and control stability. Surface roughness tests showed significant variation across materials, with MDF achieving an average Ra value of 6.25 µm (smooth) and acrylic achieving 0.85 µm (very smooth), indicating that acrylic provides superior aesthetic and precision outcomes, while MDF remains suitable for applications with moderate tolerance. The findings highlight that laser parameter optimization is critical for cut quality, and further refinements through jigs/fixtures and the addition of a rotary axis are recommended to enhance structural accuracy and expand application versatility
