Get PDFThe activities of service were to provide assistance in the making of the Overall Jumpsuit APD Gown, funding management and distribution. There are three partners involved in this service, namely Partner-1: Gavrilla Fashion Studio, Partner-2: Sanata Dharma alumni and other donors, and Partner-3: Panti Rapih Hospital and small hospitals in Yogyakarta and its surroundings.The steps in service incclude a. Conducting discussions with a designer-entrepreneur for the manufacture of the Overall Jumpsuit APD needed by the hospital, b. Providing assistance in making the Overall Jumpsuit APD Gown: Selection of APD models, taking pictures, etc. c. Mentoring in raising funds to purchase raw materials and paying up tailors, and d. Mentoring for the distribution of Overall Jumpsuit APD Gowns that were handed over to the hospitals in need.The result of services, Gavrilla Fashion Studio, could produce large quantities of standard APD Overalls Jumpsuit. The making of APD was supported by many donors to buy materials and pay for sewing fees. The finished goods of APD were distributed and collected by the user's hospital

Get PDFThe school committee is one of the independent institutions that has a role to improve the quality of education. However, the work program of committees at schools is not optimal yet. Like those are in SDN Bohar and SDN Suko. This is due to the lack of socialization regarding the Law on committees and the programs that must be drafted. Therefore, there is a need for socialization and assistance for committee members. The purpose of this dedication is to give knowledge and understanding of the importance of committee in the education unit. The target of this dedication is the caretaker of the school committee in SDN Bohar and SDN Suko with total of 22 people. The method is done in three steps. First, the preparation is done by a field survey by looking at the condition of the school and its committee members. The second stage held a meeting with committee members to explore the roles and tasks of the group. The third stage is in the form of assistance to develop work programs. The target for achievements are the committee caretaker understand their role in the education unit and be able to arrange work programs with the school principal to improve school quality. The result achieved was an increase in the committee's understanding of the Ministry of Education Regulation No.75 of 2016 concerning the school committee and the ability to arrange work program

Therefore, it was necessary to increase professionalism in terms of the use of national languages as well as international languages which are needed today, so that Indonesian students can use standard Indonesian properly and correctly.Based on the conditions encountered, the community service team at the Teaching and Education Faculty (FKIP), Satya Wacana Christian University (SWCU) Salatiga carried out community service activities with the aim of opening paradigms and training early-level early childhood and elementary school teachers to have a complete understanding of the concept of standard national and international languages and have the opportunity to improve language competence, especially English. This activity was carried out in the form of training, debriefing, and teaching simulations by four FKIP, UKSW lecturers who have Indonesian, English and educational management backgrounds.The results of the implementation of this activity could be seen at the beginning of understanding of classroom language and obtaining references to the use of standard language in the classroom to be used as capital to apply the Indonesian and English concepts

Selling online can also cut 71 percent of advertising costs that have been a large expenditure item for businesses. In the village of Teru, a village-owned enterprise (BUMDES) has been implemented to increase the productivity of activists in their village. The program has been run in 2018, but there are still some obstacles in running the program, such as packaging brands for products from activists that do not yet exist to the readiness of Human Resources in the use of internet technology in marketing their products. Following up on the problems at the BUMDES, the proposer would like to channel ideas in the form of community service to the village of Teru in overcoming and dealing with these problems, namely by developing plastic packaging technology and improving the quality of human resources in Teru village to face digital competition. Teru BUMDES is one that produces snacks. It is owned by residents of Teru, Simpang Katis District, Central Bangka, Bangka Belitung. The product of this activity is cassava chips. Pomahan Village, Pulung District, Ponorogo Regency is located in a mountainous area so that the area is prone to disasters both in the form of natural disasters and non-natural disasters such as disasters arising from human activities. Public understanding of disaster mitigation must be improved, especially for the younger generation. It is intended that the risks or impacts arising from the occurrence of disasters can be reduced and the public knows about the first treatment in the event of a disaster. This service activity aims to increase the knowledge and abilities of the youth community in Pomahan village in disaster mitigation management. The implementation of service activities is carried out by holding socialization, discussion and question and answer. The implementation of this socialization activity was carried out to the youth community in Pomahan village. The socialization activity was carried out on Thursday 15 July 2021 which was carried out face-to-face via the Zoom application. The activity was attended by 10 participants from the youth community in Pomahan village. From these socialization activities, youth are expected to be able to apply the knowledge gained during socialization activities in the event of a disaster so that the impact can be reduced. Based on the initial observations, this foundation has not prepared financial statements in accordance to Indonesian Accounting Standards about the presentation of non-profit financial statements. This foundation is supposed to present financial statement in accordance to accounting standard for non-profit organization. The activity of this community service begins with (1) identifying and understanding the existing business processes of The Child Welfare Institution of the HAMBA Foundation, (2) accounting principles and practices at The Child Welfare Institution of the HAMBA Foundation, (3) evaluating whether the financial statements that have been prepared are in accordance with the Accounting Standard for Financial statements in Indonesia, and (4) recommendations for improvement to improve the quality of financial statements. The results achieved from this community service are excel software for The Child Welfare Institution of the HAMBA Foundation. Thus, the foundation can make financial statements quickly and accountably. The recommendation for The Child Welfare Institution of the HAMBA Foundation is to continue using the software to compile the financial reports

The automatic hand sanitizer dispenser can be used to clean hands, without touching a button or any part of the appliance. Community service in this paper is carried out by making a number of automatic hand sanitizer dispensers, and distributing them in a number of places, around Campus III of Sanata Dharma University, Paingan, Maguwoharjo, Yogyakarta. A number of complaints emerged from the person in charge of the distribution site for the appliance. The most common complaint is that the appliance does not function as it should. This complaint is caused by a problem with the proximity sensor used. This sensor is too affected by light intensity. To overcome this, it is necessary to explore other types of sensors that are better than proximity sensors, which are less affected by light intensity
