Get PDFResidents of RT.02 RT.003 Asempayung, in general, are indigenous people who have lived in the area for generations. The rapid development of the population has resulted in the narrowing of residential land because it has been divided among the heirs of children and grandchildren. The limited open land has resulted in several community activities being carried out on environmental roads. The Abdimas empowered the community to participate in mutual cooperation in completing the program. UKDC Architecture Study Program will carry out an activity program for the expansion of the community activity center in 2022 by: 1) Empowering the community to participate in the expansion of the activity center; 2) Together with the residents, they will procure sewer cover material as an expansion of the community's activity center. This is largely determined through good communication, social approaches and intense interaction with residents. The output obtained from this community service program is the expansion of the activity center for the residents of Asempayung RT.02 RW.003. This activity will cover the sewerage of dirty water which is about 2.5 meters wide. Closing the channel will form a space above it, which can be used as a center for residents' activities

Get PDFMasa pandemi menjadi tantangan bagi semua pihak, termasuk Gereja yang memiliki peran penting di masyarakat. Fakultas Ilmu Komunikasi (FIKOM) Universitas Katolik Widya Mandala Surabaya (UKWMS) secara nyata hadir di lingkungan masyarakat, salah satunya adalah Gereja. Paroki Gembala Yang Baik (GYB) Surabaya saat ini berusaha memaksimalkan pelayanan yang dapat dilakukan di masa pandemi ini. Mulai dari live streaming sakramen ekaristi, hingga dibuatnya akun media sosial berupa Facebook (FB) dan Instagram (IG) untuk dapat membangun komunikasi yang baik antara Paroki dan umat. Namun seiring berjalannya waktu, bentuk pelayanan yang harusnya dapat dimaksimalkan pada dua bagian yaitu pelayanan Sakramen ataupun pelayanan Non Sakramental-Sakramentalia ternyata pada realisasinya belum dapat dilakukan. Kendala yang ditemui oleh pihak Paroki GYB ada pada pengelolaan konten media online itu sendiri. Dimana setelah website ataupun media sosial FB dan IG dibuat ternyata kontennya yang masih sangat terbatas hanya seputar Sakramen Ekaristi. Bidang Komunikasi Sosial (KOMSOS) bersama Tim Broadcasting sebagai pengelola dari Paroki GYB memiliki keterbatasan pengetahuan, sehingga belum dapat memaksimalkan media online yang ada. Masalah utama inilah yang mendasari dilaksanakannya Program Pengabdian Masyarakat (Abdimas). FIKOM yang memiliki keilmuan dalam pengelolaan media, salah satunya adalah media online dirasa dapat membantu untuk memberikan ketrampilan praktis tentang pengelolaan media sosial gereja. Metode pelaksanaannya melalui serangkaian pelatihan dan pendampingan pada pihak Paroki GYB dalam mengelola konten media sosial yang selama ini belum maksimal. Pelatihan ataupun pendampingan ini fokus pada kebutuhan Paroki GYB pada dua bagian pelayanan, baik pelayanan Sakramen ataupun pelayanan Non Sakramental-Sakramentalia. Tujuan akhir dilaksanakannya program ini diharapkan pihak Paroki GYB dapat secara mandiri melakukan pengelolaan konten media online yang mereka miliki, sehingga komunikasi antara Paroki GYB dan umat akan semakin maksimal. Hasil akhir dari kegiatan abdimas ini anggota Komsos paroki terampil memproduksi konten di media social paroki dengan ketrampilan teknis fotografi, videografi dan editing.

Get PDFIn the Mangun Karsa eco camp area, Gunungkidul, Yogyakarta, a reservoir has been built to be used to collect rainwater and named the Grigak Reservoir. The water from the reservoir will be used to irrigate plantation crops grown in the area. However, due to the location of the reservoir under plantation land, a water pump was needed to lift it. Due to the absence of a PLN electricity source and previously built a solar water pump, so to lift the water from the reservoir, a similar solar water pump was built. The water pump used was a jet pump type with a total head of up to 100m. The average water discharge produced at a height of 40m was 27lpm.

So it is necessary to get additional knowledge to increase the power of innovation, especially in the face of increasing competition. Computer programming skills can increase creativity. Computer programming can help improve work efficiency, such as repetitive calculations often encountered in the design of machine elements. However, computer programming generally requires a computer or laptop, which is an obstacle for students in learning programming because they generally do not have computer or laptop facilities. In this service activity, the community service team will introduce another alternative to learning programming, namely using a cellphone (HP). Students from the two vocational schools have cellphones, but they have not been used for programming. The students are generally new to using cellphones for communication, social media or games (games). The HP has not been used as a learning tool due to ignorance, the impression that programming is complicated, and not realizing the benefits of programming itself. The service team will introduce programming using cellphones to change the paradigm so that it is hoped that students can develop programming skills independently from this service activity. It is hoped that vocational students will be more creative and develop programming skills according to their work. In addition, the output targets of this service are sending articles to community service journals uploading information on the web and social media

The school complained about the lack of information and promotion media to students and student guardians. During this time guardians of students need to come to school to get information about student exams, school report, admission of new students and extracurricular activities. Based on the background of the problem, we created a school website at Indriasana Middle School. Our method is conducting interviews with school principals, student representatives and teachers about the obstacles that have been happening all this time. After the website is created, we make a socialization website introduction to the teacher. Based on the results of the school website loading and socialization evaluation, all teachers (n = 14) said they were satisfied with the website. 86% of teachers think that school websites can be used as a means of school promotion, 14% think they can be used as information media

Kalisuci Tourism Village is one of the tourism villages that implements health protocols in its business processes. However, the implementation of this protocol has not been documented therefor it cannot be evaluated periodically. This community service activity aims to assist tourism village managers in analyzing and documenting business processes with health protocols. This service is expected to help Kalisuci Tourism Village to have business process documentation as a guide to implement standards services for tourists. The methods used in this activity were observation, analysis and evaluation, as well as mentoring services. The results of this activity consist of 3 business process documentation for each business unit in Kalisuci Tourism Village

The specific targets are: (1) Basic use of computers to search for information and needs; (2) the use of subjective needs and abilities; and (3) a consultation room for the information obtained. The method used: (1). Socialization about “Umah Information” at Azzahra Reading Park; (2). Socialization material according to target. The results of the service show that the village community is very interested in the digitization program, because of the availability of computers (PCs and laptops) that cannot be owned and accessed. Browsing is the easiest thing, as a habit from HP. The understanding and use of word, ppt, excel, and others is low, of the 30 participants consisting of elementary, high school students, junior high school age students - high school students, mothers and fathers from various professions, only those who have a profession as formal workers such as teachers, who already know, and are able to operate, and adapt quickly during training

The boredom of students effected a decrease in understanding the concept of the learning materials. The way students tolearn and teachers to teach all this time must be change. The material must be delivered in order to attract children's interest in learning. From the survey results, most teachers only give assignments and materials using power point slides containing a lot of uninteresting texts and make children dependent on their parents to learn it. Therefore, Vocational lecturers of Sanata Dharma univercity as social community service team held training for teachers at Kanisius Sengkan Elementary School and Kalyca Elementary School to empower power point as software that they are already accustomed to using for teaching, transform it as a video learning media and interesting interactive learning evaluation which make children will be motivated to learn use video effectively and independent. After participating in this training, the teachers took the initiative to make their learning videos more interesting even though they only used MS Powerpoint software.

An assessment of the benefits of information technology requires methods that can analyze the financial and non-financial benefits of these investments. Therefore researchers used the information economics method to examine the level of eligibility. The result of this dedication was the application of SIKOPDIT to CU. Satu Hati is in quadrant A, which is an investment. In the Return on Investment (ROI) calculation, the value is 528%. The results of the calculation of the information economics scorecard obtained 69.8 results mean that this investment into the feasible category or the application of SIKOPDIT has provided benefits

The general objective of this activity is to increase the enthusiasm of teachers in writing scientific papers and publish them in national journals as part of teacher professional development. Operationally, the objectives of this activity are: increasing knowledge of writing scientific papers for teachers in Suhaid District; improving the ability to write scientific papers for teachers; as well as the development of teachers in preparing research reports and articles until they are published in the mass media or accredited national scientific journals.The method used in this activity was performance and training in writing scientific papers. The expected outcome of this scientific paper writing workshop was that teachers could be motivated and understand how to write correct scientific papers. The results of the activities were proven by the participants’ sending the scientific papers by email to the instructor and the instructor reviewed the papers for revisions to achieve the output target of this activity
