Get PDFHealth problems became the primary human need. Indonesia's health-care challenge is its low ability and willingness to adopt a clean, healthy pattern of living. People's lack of awareness of cleanliness will have adverse effects. This socialization aims to enhance the quality of student behavior and foster an awareness of the importance of a clean, healthy pattern of living in the school environment. PHBS is carried out in the form of socialization and a practice focused on Ngasinan primary school students and the Sudirman Susukan Islamic middle school, with secondary and seventh graders. The methods used in this study are qualitative methods and literature study analytics. PHBS application in the school will support the teaching process and learners will concentrate more on studying. KKN UIN Walisongo students teach students to wash their hands with soap before eating and teach their students how to wash their hands well and right. In addition, students of KKN also provide secondary students with education on the dangers of smoking and feeding elementary and junior high students a supplementation of carbohydrate, fat and protein and soy milk containing the content of vegetable fat, protein, calcium, minerals (thiamine, folate, riboflavin, potassium, magnesium, zinc and iron).

One way to promote products is by using digital media, such as social media and websites. The problem that exists in MSME actors is that not all MSME actors have adequate graphic design skills. In efforts to overcome this, MSME actors can use applications that can be used to create content design easily and the results are good. One application that can be used is Canva. Canva is a graphic design tool that is user-friendly and easy to use even for beginners who do not understand content design. This application provides a variety of templates and features that allow users to create attractive visual designs. One of the activities to improve MSME players is training on the importance of promotion on social media. This effort was made by MSME players who are members of the Banyuwangi Family Association in Yogyakarta (IKAWANGI) in collaboration with the Informatics study program of the AKPRIND Institute of Science Technology to organize training to improve promotion through social media and create easy and attractive promotional content. The implementation method is carried out by training methods and direct assistance to MSME actors. Assistance includes providing directions for creating content using the Canva application. In the context of MSMEs, the use of Canva can help businesses to create promotional content such as brochures, posters, invitations, business cards, and so on. Businesses can customize the design with their brand, adding text, images, and logos to create a unique and consistent design. In conclusion, the use of the Canva application can provide significant benefits for MSME players in creating attractive and effective promotional content. Get PDFThis article reports a community service program held by the Master’s Program in English Language Education at the Faculty of Language Arts, Universitas Kristen Satya Wacana, in collaboration with the Salatiga Education Department. The program was in the form of teachers’ training about best practices of implementing the Merdeka Belajar curriculum in the English language teaching and learning practices. Thirty-six (36) English teachers in junior high schools in Salatiga participated in this training from July 31 – August 1, 2023. There were five main sessions in the training, namely (1) critical thinking and Merdeka belajar, (2) differentiated instruction in the ELT contexts/EFL classrooms, (3) digital text-based learning for teaching English in secondary schools, (4) best practices in technology-enhanced language learning, and (5) the implementation of Merdeka Belajar curriculum: A reflection. Brief descriptions of what the presenters discussed in each of their sessions, directions for future community service programs, and research are presented

The benefit of this activity is that people's understanding of technology can be applied to village transportation needs, at least it can provide an alternative in facilitating access to accelerating the economy and continuity of community in the village. The method of implementing the activity is in two stages, coordinating with the Head of Galang Tinggi Village to obtain an overview and initial data regarding the geographic profile and conditions, village demographics and digital capabilities of community members. The second stage is implementing socialization on the use of WhatsApp social media as an information medium for online motorcycle taxis to facilitate public transportation. This activity provides knowledge and understanding as well as an enthusiastic attitude to initiate business opportunities for online motorcycle taxi transportation services. This activity is very important in efforts to achieve early progress in digital society. The hope is that people can take advantage of digital means to create business opportunities that can reach a wider market and are cost efficient
PENGENALAN PERTANYAAN ESENSIAL UNTUK PENGEMBANGAN BAHAN AJAR YANG HOTS KEPADA GURU SEKOLAH DASAR
Get PDFIn 21st-century learning, life skills are indicated to be essential. Basic literacy is known to be one of them. Unfortunately, Indonesia is indicated to be low in literacy. Despite the Gerakan Literasi Sekolah [School Literacy Movement] offered by the government, literacy results are still low. This analysis indicated that improvement in Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) is needed. This condition encouraged us to introduce essential questions as a part of language literacy to teachers to develop basic literacy skills. Reviews indicated that essential questions were effective to stimulate HOTS. Adopting educational design research, the researcher provided a diagnostic test to identify teachers’ literacy levels. The diagnostic was then followed by a short workshop to assist teachers to develop learning scenarios with essential questions in it. The learning scenarios developed by teachers suggested the requirement for teachers to have more practice in developing essential questions. Therefore, a module with step-by-step ways to develop essential questions followed by thorough workshops and training needs to be proposed as the follow-up.

Get PDFThe importance of digital literacy and the challenges of the industrial revolution 4.0 that students must face are the main reasons why Informatics become one of subjects in Merdeka Curriculum taught at the junior and senior high school levels in Indonesia. However, in implementing the Merdeka Curriculum, especially the Informatics subject, there are still many schools and teachers who are not ready and do not understand the content and teaching materials of Informatics subjects which are very different from ICT subjects in the 2013 Curriculum. Therefore, the community service team of Informatics Study Program held training for Informatics teachers in Magelang Regency. 81 teachers participated in online and offline training and mentoring focused on 7 elements of informatics knowledge. The teacher training results showed that 36.4% of the participants thought the training activities helped, and 63.6% thought that the training activities beneficently improved their understanding of Informatics material in the Merdeka curriculum. In addition, 36.4% considered themselves more confident, 45.5% were ready, and 18.1% were quite ready about implementing the Informatics subject. As a follow-up, teachers still expect ongoing and more intensive assistance regarding computational thinking, algorithms and programming, cross-disciplinary practice and preparation of teaching materials

Get PDFThe IBM Goes to School community service program is held with the aim of equipping Tri Karya High School students with skill sets that can support the creation of youngpreneurs in Indonesia. The problems faced by students are related to the tendency to have a fixed mindset and lack of courage to get out of their comfort zone. Educational program with the theme "How to Be an Impactful Youngpreneur". The educational program aims to provide a new picture and meaning about entrepreneurship to answer students' problems. The implementation method used is an educational method through presentation of material and a series of interactive activities to support the material. The results of this program include: 1) succeeded in providing encouragement to hone students' growth mindset skills, 2) succeeded in providing encouragement to step outside their comfort zone, 3) was able to motivate students to start their own businesses, 4) provided an illustration for the formation of an entrepreneurship style students of Tri Karya High School. Overall, this program has been successfully implemented and reaped a positive response through the enthusiasm and changes experienced by the students

There are 2 partners involved in this service, namely Partner 1: Management and Partner 2: Observers and donors. The steps in the dedication are a. inviting people to be involved in novena prayer activities, b. invite people to be involved in the fundraising process, c. invite people to be involved in columbarium development activities and d. invite people to be involved in socializing the use of the columbarium. The result of the dedication is that many people are involved in various activities, namely prayer, raising funds and donors, building activities of the Columbarium, and participating in the socialization of the use of the Columbarium. The Columbarium will be a comfortable, clean, neat, beautiful, cool, safe, orderly storage place for ashes and bones. The facilities available at the Columbarium are: bathrooms, parking lots, seats, tap water, and the Joglo building. The administrators and volunteers are able to maintain and provide services to visitors who will pray for the ancestors

The teaching method used in this activity is through the Fun English Learning method, which means teaching English to children who have a fun English learning concept. It includes learning activities using songs and games. The results of this program show that the participants have started to have fun learning English and that students' vocabulary and understanding of English vocabulary have increased compared to the beginning of the meeting. Even though there are still mistakes, they have started to be confident and don't feel ashamed

The purpose of this counseling is to mobilize Catholics in the Kedu Kevikepan area which consists of 13 parishes, 1 parish co-op and 2 special administrative parishes to hold a seminar with the theme of the Green Church Movement, so that parishioners will love the environment so that the earth will take sorting action, prevent and treat. The expected results after the participants attend this seminar will be to implement the Green Church Movement in their respective parishes
