PENGGUNAAN ALAT PERAGA SEDERHANA UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KETERAMPILAN MATEMATIKA SISWA
Get PDFMathematics is one of the subjects that students are rarely interested in. The material in mathematics lessons is also abstract. So that most students find it difficult to understand mathematics. Therefore, a tool is needed in understanding mathematical material so that students have no difficulty in learning the problem. One of the tools or media that can be used to help students is by using teaching aids. Props used in community service activities include the mean, median, and mode boards; number line integer arithmetic operations; corner clock; and the number plate to the power of two. This community service activity was carried out in the Tenda study group, Ruteng. The duration of this activity is 3 months. The method used in this mentoring is to use the method of demonstration, discussion, question and answer and the practice of using teaching aids. The results of community service carried out are students feel helped in understanding mathematics subject matter and students feel happy because they experience fun learning. Students also find it easier to understand mathematics subject matter which is indicated by the scores obtained by students when working on practice questions related to mathematics material through the questions given by the community service team which has increased and students are enthusiastic in working on practical questions using math teaching aids. Thus, it can be concluded that community service activities through the use of teaching aids have succeeded in helping students overcome difficulties in understanding mathematics
PENINGKATAN PENGETAHUAN TENTANG PENYALAHGUNAAN DAN PENGGUNASALAHAN OBAT DI KALANGAN PELAJAR SEKOLAH MENENGAH DI YOGYAKARTA
Get PDFDrug abuse and misuse among teenagers have been on the rise year after year. These teenagers must have a solid knowledge of drug use. Health education is provided to Yogyakarta high school students in order to improve their understanding of drug abuse and misuse. The health education is being held at SMK Kesehatan Pelita Bangsa Yogyakarta with 92 participants. The activities begin with a pre-test, continue with a presentation about drug abuse and misuse, and conclude with a post-test. Most participants are female (82%) and in the twelfth grade (49%). The average pre-test score of 86.41 increases to 91.41 in the average post-test score, indicating an improvement in respondents' knowledge. The activity hopes to teach students how to use drugs rationally, particularly ones widely abused by teenagers

Get PDFThe Wae Bobok ecotourism destination is one of the alternative tourist attractions around Labuan Bajo, West Manggarai Regency. As an alternative to tourism, the development of the Wae Bobok destination tends to be slow compared to other tourist destinations. One of the main problems is the ability of the local managers to promote the Waebobok destination and the ability to interpret tourist objects in Wae Bobok. Therefore, this community service aim is training in developing the ability to compose narratives by answering 6 question words, namely Apa (what), Siapa (who), Kapan (when), Dimana (where), Mengapa (why), and Bagaimana (how) (5W+1H) and convey interpretation using the role-play method. The results show an improvement in the ability to train participants to compose better Wae Bobok destination narrations by containing 5W+1H elements and improve their ability to interpret Wae Bobok destination narrations

In facing increasingly fierce competition and dynamic changes in the business environment, the preparation of financial reports is important for MSME players. The purpose of holding this community service activity is to help MSMEs in optimizing the use of information technology to manage business finances. This training activity was held at the Sepanjang Village Office in July 2023. The method used in this training was the lecture method and practice using applications. The training results showed that all MSME actors present were able to compile simple financial reports using the Buku Warung application. Through the preparation of these simple financial reports, MSME actors can make better business decisions than before

The results achieved from this community service are to develop Excel software for the SEMBADA SLEMAN POMP community so that they can make financial reports quickly and accountably and use financial information as material for evaluation and activity planning. The recommendation for the SEMBADA SLEMAN POMP community is to use the software in compiling financial reports. Servants will always be ready to assist when experiencing difficulties
