Replication Data for: Eat-Radar: Continuous Fine-Grained Eating Gesture Detection Using FMCW Radar and 3D Temporal Convolutional Network With Attention
The FMCW radar-based food intake monitoring-oriented dataset contains 70 meal sessions (4132 eating gestures and 893 drinking gestures) from 70 participants with a total duration of 1155 minutes. Four eating styles (fork & knife, chopsticks, spoon, hand) are included in this dataset. The radar data formats in this dataset include Range-Doppler-Time data (RD Cube), and Doppler-Time data (DT Map)
2019 National Assessment of world studies (Society, Time, Space and Resource Utilization) in Primary Education in Flanders
In 2019 a national assessment was carried out, which was commissioned by the Flemish government, to assess whether pupils have achieved the attainment targets for human and society (domains of society, time, space and resource utilization) at the end of primary education. Data were collected through five written tests and a practical test consisting of eight assignments. A representative sample of 2747 pupils from 100 Flemish primary schools participated. Tests were supplemented with background questionnaires for pupils, parents and teachers. These questionnaires collected, among other things, information on background characteristics of the pupils, schools and teachers, classroom practices, and the teachers' didactic approaches. The response rates to these questionnaires were almost 100% for the pupils and 89% for the parents. Teachers were able to complete part of the questionnaire online, for which the response rate was 96%. For the paper part, the response rate was 96% as well.In 2019 vond een Peiling in opdracht van de Vlaamse overheid om na te gaan in welke mate leerlingen op het einde van het basisonderwijs de eindtermen voor mens en meetschappij (domeinen maatschappij, tijd, ruimte en brongebruik) hebben behaald. Deze peiling is een herhaling van de peiling wereldoriëntatie in 2010. De gegevens werden verzameld aan de hand van vijf schriftelijke toetsen en een praktische proef die bestond uit acht opdrachten. Ze werden afgenomen bij een representatieve steekproef van 2747 leerlingen uit 100 Vlaamse basisscholen. Daarnaast werden ook vragenlijsten afgenomen bij leerlingen, ouders en leerkrachten. Deze vragenlijsten verzamelden onder andere informatie over achtergrondkenmerken van de leerlingen en de school, de klaspraktijk en de didactische aanpak van de leerkracht. De responsgraad op deze vragenlijsten bedroeg bijna 100% voor de leerlingen en 89% voor de ouders. De leerkrachten konden een deel van de vragenlijst online invullen, waarvoor de responsgraad 96% was. Voor het papieren gedeelte was dit eveneens 96%

Abstract
Background
Ventricular arrhythmia (VT/VF) can complicate acute myocardial ischemia (AMI). Regional instability of repolarization during AMI contributes to the substrate for VT/VF. Beat-to-beat variability of repolarization (BVR), a measure of repolarization lability increases during AMI. We hypothesized that its surge precedes VT/VF. We studied the spatial and temporal changes in BVR in relation to VT/VF during AMI.
Methods
In 24 pigs BVR was quantified on 12-lead electrocardiogram (ECG) recorded at a sampling rate of 1kHz. AMI was induced in 16 pigs by percutaneous coronary artery occlusion (MI), while 8 underwent sham-operation (Sham). Changes in BVR were assessed at 5-minutes after occlusion, 5- and 1-minute pre-VF in animals that developed VF and matched time points in pigs without VF. Serum troponin and ST deviation were measured. After 1-month, magnetic resonance imaging and VT induction by programmed electrical stimulation were performed.
Results
During AMI, BVR increased significantly in inferior-lateral leads correlating with ST-deviation and troponin increase. BVR was maximal 1-minute pre-VF (3.78±1.36 vs 5-minutes pre-VF: 1.67±1.56, P < 0.0001). After 1-month, BVR was higher in MI than sham and correlated with the infarct size (1.43±0.50, vs 0.57±0.30, P = 0.009). VT was inducible in all MI animals and the ease-of-induction correlated with BVR.
Conclusion
BVR increased during AMI and temporal BVR changes predicted imminent VT/VF supporting a possible role in monitoring and early-warning systems. BVR correlated to arrhythmia vulnerability suggesting utility in risk stratification post-AMI.

2022 National Assessment of Mathematics in the First Grade of Secondary Education (A- and B-stream) in Flanders
In 2022 a national assessment was carried out, which was commissioned by the Flemish government, to assess the extent to which students have achieved the attainment targets for mathematics at the end of the first grade of secondary education. Data were collected through 4 digital tests: (1) Number sense, (2) Tables and diagrams, (3) Measuring arithmetic and (4) Geometry. A representative sample of 1654 students in the A-stream and 1976 students in the B-stream across 118 Flemish secondary schools participated. Tests were supplemented with background questionnaires for students, parents, teachers and the coordinator of the didactic team for mathematics. The questionnaires collected, among other things, information on general background characteristics of the students and their families, characteristics of the teachers, and the mathematics curriculum. The response rates to the student questionnaire were 86% for the A-stream and 86% for the B-stream. For the parent questionnaires, the response rates were 91% and 75%, respectively. For the teacher questionnaires, the response rates were 86% and 83%, respectively. The Leuven-Haifa High-Resolution Fundus Image Dataset for Retinal Blood Vessel Segmentation and Glaucoma Diagnosis
The Leuven-Haifa dataset contains 240 disc-centered fundus images of 224 unique patients (75 patients with normal tension glaucoma, 63 patients with high tension glaucoma, 30 patients with other eye diseases and 56 healthy controls) from the University Hospitals of Leuven. The arterioles and venules of these images were both annotated by master students in medicine and corrected by a senior annotator. All corrected segmentations are provided. Diagnosis, age, sex, vascular parameters as well as a quality score are provided as metadata. Potential reuse is envisioned as the development and validation of retinal segmentation algorithms or the development of glaucoma diagnosis algorithms
A Survey of Irish Writers in The New Yorker, 1940-1980
This dataset provides a survey of Irish writers publishing in The New Yorker magazine from 1940 to 1980.
Methodology
I conduct the survey through archival research and secondary references. The primary sources are The New Yorker's digital archive and the New Yorker Records housed in the New York Public Library.
Parameters
The timeframe of the survey concerns The New Yorker’s international expansion in the middle decades of the twentieth century. It starts from 1940 and ends in 1980, when the magazine industry’s cultural impact was eclipsed by the popularity of TV.
For the purpose of the project, I focus on "fiction" contributions. Verse and shorter writings (such as column pieces and book reviews) are not included. Therefore, Maeve Brennan's shorter pieces under her alias "the long-winded lady" and Patricia Collinge's shorter contributions are not included in the quantatative survey.
This survey includes both Irish and Irish-American writers. One key criterium of the selection is the writer’s connection with Ireland and Irish culture. Irish-American writers whose works are more concerned about (Irish-)America rather than Ireland itself are excluded from the survey. Therefore, Elizabeth Cullinan and J.P. Donleavy are included, while John O’Hara and Mary McCarthy are not.
Notes for Users
The list is presented in the chronological order of the contributions’ appearance in the magazine. The date format follows the international convention (ISO8601), thus: year/month/day. The date refers to the publication of The New Yorker issues.
The New Yorker is a weekly, and the timeframe of the project spans four decades. This means that there are thousands of back issues under examination. I acknowledge the possibility that there are Irish writers whose contributions in the magazine escaped my attention. If there is any omission, I would appreciate the user’s input to update the survey.
It is hoped that this survey will help researchers investigate the Irish connections with one of America’s most influential publications. Teachers, students, and the general public may also use this list as a guide to better appreciate these fascinating Irish stories. </p
