    The role of water-extractable (WE) cereal flour constituents, and particularly WE proteins, in determining bread dough gas cell stability and bread specific volume (SV) remains ill-understood. To this end, compositionally diverse wheat, rye, and oat flour aqueous extracts were prepared and incorporated in model gluten-starch (GS) bread recipes. The impact of these extracts on bread SV, dough extensional rheology, and dough gas cell size distribution was investigated. This dataset contains i) compositional analyses data on wheat, rye, and oat flour aqueous extracts obtained using standard methods in the field of cereal science (6 .xlsx files), ii) normalized specific volume data of the GS breads containing the extracts obtained during bread making trials (1 .xlsx files), iii) rheology data of the GS doughs containing extracts obtained during uniaxial extension tests (2 .xlsx files), and iv) gas cell size distribution in the GS doughs containing extracts obtained using X-ray microcomputed tomography (2 .xlsx files)

The dataset consists of code, written in the computer algebra software package Magma, that provides a high-level implementation of this algorithm. The code can be ran by all parties holding a Magma license, but in fact it is simple enough to be run in the Magma Calculator (http://magma.maths.usyd.edu.au/calc/), which is freely accessible. The claims in the article do not depend on this implementation. It is rather the other way around: the code serves as an illustration, for testing purposes, of the algorithm described in the article

    Hardware Acceleration of the Prime-Factor and Rader NTT for BGV Fully Homomorphic Encryption

    This dataset is a hardware architecture for the NTT targeting generalized cyclotomics within the context of the BGV FHE scheme. The design in this dataset achieves high throughput with optimized resource utilization, by leveraging parallel processing, pipelining, and reusing processing elements. Compared to Wu et al.’s VLSI architecture of the Bluestein NTT, the design's approach showcases 2× to 5× improved throughput and area efficiency. Simulation and implementation results on an AMD Alveo U250 FPGA demonstrate the feasibility of the proposed hardware design for FHE

    Replication Data for: Directing oat groat heat treatment conditions towards increased protein extractability

    Oat-based liquid and semi-solid dairy alternatives are of great interest nowadays, but generally have very low protein contents, which is undesirable from technological and nutritional points of view. This can be attributed to the fact that oats are industrially heat treated (‘kilned’) to inactivate endogenous lipases, which results in a protein extractability decrease. Thus, it is clear that there is a need to direct heat treatment conditions towards increased oat protein extractability whilst retaining desired shelf stability. In this study, we investigated the impact of directing oat heat treatment conditions [oat moisture content, heating temperature and time] on a lab-scale to achieve complete enzyme inactivation, with peroxidase activity as a marker, while maintaining high protein extractability.     Multimodal mockery in face-to-face interaction: on the negotiation of nonseriousness and stance

    This dataset was analyzed as part of the dissertation entitled "Multimodal mockery in face-to-face interaction: on the negotiation of nonseriousness and stance". The dataset contains the extracted annotations of video corpora and gaze behavior measures for quantitative analysis, R script to reproduce the results and figures for the dissertation, and two example video clips to illustrate the corpora. The dissertation investigates the ubiquitous phenomenon of mockery as a case study of complex stancetaking. The starting point is the observation that stancetaking, the expression of our attitudes toward the world around us, is inherently multimodal. What is missing, however, is a multimodal and interactional analysis of more complex forms of stancetaking. Mockery presents an intriguing case to explore this, as it involves a layered constellation in which a stance on a serious layer is heightened, diminished, or inverted on a non-serious layer. Using three video corpora of spontaneous triadic interactions between friends, the dissertation examines the role of bodily-visual resources in negotiating stance and nonseriousness in sequences of mockery. 1556 cases of mockery were identified, which were analyzed in three empirical studies on initiating, managing, and elaborating the mockery. Taking a primarily qualitative and sequential approach, these studies show that bodily-visual resources contribute to the negotiation of mockery in interaction: They perform a range of functions, including stancetaking and alignment, managing the participation framework, and depicting and indexing personae. As a whole, this dissertation contributes to the growing body of work on multimodal stancetaking, and provides a basis for a systematic integration of multimodality in the study of humor in interaction
