EXIMIOUS Raman spectra of microplastics reference particles- HPU

    No full text
This dataset contains the Raman spectra of microplastic reference particles provided by Hawaii Pacific University. It serves as a spectral library for the comparison and identification of microplastics in environmental samples. The dataset includes a range of polymer types commonly found in marine and terrestrial environments, enabling accurate characterization of microplastic pollution through spectroscopic analysis. Researchers, laboratories, and environmental monitoring programs can use this dataset to validate their own spectral data, improve classification accuracy, and support standardized methods in microplastic identification

Replication Data for: Fluid boundary conditions in kinetic-diffusion Monte Carlo

    No full text
This is the replication data for the paper "Fluid boundary conditions in kinetic-diffusion Monte Carlo" Specifically, this contains the computational results (and the configs that generated them) used in the last section of the paper. This is a comparison between KDMC with kinetic boundary conditions and KDMC with fluid boundary conditions (the variant introduced in the paper

Replication Data for: Sustainable recovery of metallic Fe and oxides from bauxite residue via H2 reduction: Enhancing purity and recovery rates. Sustainable Materials and Technologies, 43, e01289.

    No full text
This dataset presents recalculated aluminium (Al) and sodium (Na) recovery values based on the experimental results reported in Pilla et al., 2025 (“Sustainable recovery of metallic Fe and oxides from bauxite residue via H₂ reduction: Enhancing purity and recovery rates," Sustainable Materials and Technologies, 43, e01289). The recalculations were performed using updated recovery formulas and refined mass balance analyses to provide more accurate recovery percentages. These improvements enable a more reliable comparison between the values reported in the original publication and the revised dataset. In addition, FactSage thermodynamic simulations were re-evaluated to ensure reproducibility and consistency with the recalculated results. The dataset includes numerical phase information and values for multiple process parameters, supporting validation, reproducibility, and further application of the findings by researchers working on sustainable metal recovery from bauxite residue

Fast face-selective responses in prefrontal face patches of the macaque.

    No full text
"This dataset includes data files containing spike rates for both the main stimulus set and the receptive field. The spike rate data is provided in two formats: binned in 10 ms intervals or averaged over larger response windows. Additionally, the accompanying code is provided to generate all figures and perform statistical analyses as presented in the associated publication.

Code accompanying the paper: "Predicting the statistical error of analog particle tracing Monte Carlo" by Vince Maes, Ignace Bossuyt, Hannes Vandecasteele, Wouter Dekeyser, Julian Koellermeier, Martine Baelmans and Giovanni Samaey. Experiments for the paper have been performed in MATLAB R2022b. The zip file contains all the code files needed to perform the numerical experiments described in the paper, as well as additional experiments. The zip file contains a README file with instructions for running the code and for reproducing the figures of the paper

Replication Data for: Robust Multimodal Learning Framework For Intake Gesture Detection Using Contactless Radar and Wearable IMU Sensors

    No full text
A contactless radar and wearable IMU multimodal dataset for eating and drinking gesture detection. It contains 52 meals from 52 participants (17 females and 35 males). The total duration of the collected dataset is 894 min. There are 4050 eating gestures and 797 drinking gestures in total. This dataset can be further used for human activity recognition study

A large-eddy simulation dataset of collective wind farm axial-induction set points in the presence of blockage

    No full text
This dataset contains the necessary information to reproduce the figures of the paper "A large-eddy simulation analysis of collective Wind farm axial-induction set points in the presence of blockage", Théo Delvaux & Johan Meyers, Wind Energy Science, 2025. The work explores the potential for wind farm load reduction and power maximization. We carried out a series of high-fidelity simulations (LES) for a wide variety of atmospheric conditions and operating regimes. The database provides insights on the flow profiles, the evolution of the simulations with time, the velocity field and the performance curves of the farm

Sarcopenia after Bariatric surgery in Older Adults (SABO)

    No full text
This cross-sectional study investigated sarcopenia and low muscle mass by comparing adults older than 65 years with previous MBS (BAR) to patients following non-surgical obesity management (CON). The dataset contains data for 100 study participants, inlcuding medical history, anthropometry and body composition, assessment of sarcopenia, dietary intake including a focus on selenium and protein intake, and blood biochemistry, including a focus on selenium status

Replication Data for: Low-intensity Pulsed Electromagnetic Field Stimulation Enhances Fusion in Bovine Myoblasts and Improves Tensile Properties of Engineered Skeletal Muscle Tissue

    No full text
This repository contains the data necessary for reproducing the results described in the paper: "Low-intensity Pulsed Electromagnetic Field Stimulation Enhances Fusion in Bovine Myoblasts and Improves Tensile Properties of Engineered Skeletal Muscle Tissue" (still to be submitted). For two different experiments, ran at two different times on two different tensile test machines, it contains: the raw data, the code necessary for processing the data, the generated results, and figures representing the results. The raw data consists the measurement points acquired by the tensile test machine, as well as pictures from the samples. The code for processing is based on Python and Makefile

Mean Flow Statistics from Large-Eddy Simulations of Offshore Hybrid Wind-Solar Farms

    No full text
The dataset contains a suite of Large-Eddy Simulation (LES) results of neutral boundary layers with various combinations of heated surface patterns and wind turbine arrangements. The simulation are driven by a fixed pressure gradient, and the surface temperature pattern is imposed. All simulations were run until a true statistically steady state was reached, after which turbulence statistics were collected over a period of approximately 24 hours. The repository includes 3D fields of first- and second order statistics of flow variables, i.e. velocity components, pressure and temperature. The dataset is generated with the SP-Wind code, an in-house DNS/LES code developed at KU Leuven. For details of the code structure and simulation set-up we refer to Bon et al. (2025). The repository contains all simulations that are listed in Table 1 of the related publication. Each simulation has a separate folder, containing hdf5 files of the time-averaged flow statistics from the main domain (fields_main.h5) as well as the precursor domain (fields_precursor). Note that the latter domain does not contain any surface heterogeneity. Fore more information, we refer to the README.txt file located in the dataset and to the related publication. Some postprocessing scripts that can be used to read and plot the data is also present.
