No lusco-fusco da morte, a esperança do (re) encontro: devoção da transcendência corporal de Maria no recôncavo baiano
Get PDFThis article analyzes the devotion to the bodily transcendence of Mary within the Irmandade da Boa Morte (Sisterhood of the Good Death) in Cachoeira, Recôncavo Baiano, in dialogue with Pope Francis’ Marian reflection in the Bull of Indiction of the Ordinary Jubilee of the Year 2025, Spes non confundit (Rom 5:5) (2024). The research investigates how the Assumption of Mary is reinterpreted by the Sisterhood, integrating elements of Catholicism with Afro-Brazilian spiritualities. The hypothesis suggests that this devotion reinforces hope in the continuity of life and the sacredness of the body, aligning with Pope Francis’ view of Mary as the supreme witness of hope (SnC 24). The celebration of Mary’s transcendence also reveals ethical and social implications, promoting cultural resistance, community solidarity, and the strengthening of Afro-descendant identity. The objectives include: presenting the Marian dimension in the Bull Spes non confundit; analyzing Mary as Mother of Hope; and demonstrating how the Sisterhood celebrates this transcendence. The study concludes that the devotion expresses resilience and faith, reaffirming hope in the continuity of life and the sacredness of the body.Este artículo analiza la devoción a la trascendencia corporal de María en la Hermandad de la Buena Muerte, en Cachoeira, Recôncavo Baiano, en diálogo con la reflexión mariana del Papa Francisco en la Bula de convocatoria del Jubileo Ordinario del año 2025, Spes non confundit (Rm 5,5) (2024).La investigación examina cómo la Asunción de María es resignificada por la Hermandad, integrando elementos del catolicismo y de las espiritualidades afrobrasileñas. La hipótesis plantea que dicha devoción refuerza la esperanza en la continuidad de la vida y en la sacralidad del cuerpo, en consonancia con la visión del Papa Francisco sobre María como la más alta testigo de la esperanza (SnC 24).La celebración de la trascendencia de María también revela implicaciones éticas y sociales, al promover la resistencia cultural, la solidaridad comunitaria y el fortalecimiento de la identidad afrodescendiente.Los objetivos incluyen: presentar el aspecto mariano en la Bula Spes non confundit; analizar a María como Madre de la Esperanza; y demostrar cómo la Hermandad celebra esta trascendencia. Get PDFO artigo procura explorar a virtude da esperança cristã como força motriz para a ação em prol da justiça social, especialmente focada na opção preferencial pelos pobres, que são protagonistas e não mero destinatários da doutrina social da Igreja. Afirma que a esperança é tematizada a partir da nota ética presente na orientação escatológica da Teologia da Libertação. Essa esperança não é uma fuga da realidade, mas uma força encarnada, crítica e performativa, que une a memória do sofrimento (especialmente a Paixão de Cristo) à antecipação do futuro escatológico. Get PDFThis article aims to address the issue of memory and imagery present in two moments of the Old Testament: in Exodus and in the return from Babylonian Exile; furthermore, it aims to verify its consequences for foreign women within Persian Yehud. It aims to verify how, in these cases, the remembrance is used in opposite ways (at one hand as an unwanted, at the other as a positive memory and finally to expel the foreigners), being used accordingly to the needs of the historical moment of the People of God. We will also observe the role of the idealization of the past to then note the consequences and contribution to the misery of foreign women within the post-exilic society of Persian Yehud.Esse artigo deseja aproximar a questão da memória e do imaginário presentes em dois momentos do Antigo Testamento: no Êxodo e no retorno do Exílio babilônico e verificar sua consequência para as mulheres estrangeiras no seio da Yehud persa. Verificaremos como, nesses casos, a recordação é utilizada de forma oposta (uma vez como não desejada, outra como positiva e, por fim, para repudiar as estrangeiras), sendo empregada conforme a necessidade do momento histórico do Povo de Deus. Observaremos igualmente o papel da idealização do passado, para então notarmos as consequências e a contribuição para a miséria das mulheres estrangeiras no seio da sociedade pós-exílica da Yehud persa
Percepções e significados sobre a feminilização da gestão escolar na educação básica
Get PDFCom o processo de feminização da educação básica, a gestão escolar também se tornou majoritariamente feminina. Portanto, o objetivo deste artigo é analisar, a partir da perspectiva de gênero, percepções e significados produzidos pelas mulheres sobre o fato de elas serem a maioria na gestão escolar da educação básica. É um estudo de abordagem qualitativa do tipo descritivo analítico. Os dados foram produzidos por meio do envio de um questionário, com perguntas abertas e fechadas, para mulheres diretorias de unidades escolares da rede estadual de Santa Catarina. Os achados foram categorizados e analisados a partir da perspectiva hermenêutica interpretativa (Minayo, 2014 e à luz dos pressupostos teóricos dos estudos de gênero, nas concepções que envolvem as relações de poder. Os resultados apontam que as mulheres produzem diferentes significados, ou seja, avaliam como sendo expressão do processo da feminização da docência, da igual habilidade de liderança entre homens e mulheres e, até, por terem certas habilidades que advém de uma suposta natureza feminina
Educação infantil e identidade cultural: caminhos freireanos para uma educação humanizadora
Get PDFThe reflection presented in the following article comes from a finalized research proposition developed in a Graduate Program in Education, at a Masters level. Its objective is to present Paulo Freire’s contributions on the importance of valuing children’s cultural identity for the humanization process, investigating in which way teaching may consider and recognize the different cultural identities in classrooms of Early Childhood Education institutions. This is a bibliographical and qualitative research, based on Freirean theory. The investigative scope is Early Childhood Education, mainly on the importance of valuing children’s cultural identity in the teaching, learning and humanizing process. The results express the importance of valuing children’s cultural identity, as from this valuation, along with new knowledge, the child can develop intellectually, understand the world around her, the different cultures it contains, perceive herself and others, becoming an active human being, an autonomous and emancipated adult. In this way, the conclusion is that an Early Childhood Education that considers multiple cultural identities of children is a possible way to an education regarding humanization and liberation.A reflexão apresentada neste artigo decorre de uma proposta de pesquisa finalizada, desenvolvida no âmbito de um Programa de Pós-Graduação em Educação, a nível de mestrado. Possui como objetivo apresentar as contribuições de Paulo Freire sobre a importância da valorização da identidade cultural das crianças para o processo formação humana, investigando de que forma o ensino pode considerar e reconhecer as diferentes identidades culturais nas salas das instituições de Educação Infantil. Trata-se de uma pesquisa bibliográfica, de caráter qualitativo, com fundamentação nos pressupostos da Teoria Freireana. O recorte investigativo se delimita na etapa da Educação Infantil, focando na importância da valorização da identidade cultural das crianças no processo de ensino, aprendizagem e formação humana. Os resultados alcançados demonstram a importância da valorização da identidade cultural das crianças, pois a partir dessa valorização, somada aos novos conhecimentos, a criança pode desenvolver-se intelectualmente, compreender o mundo à sua volta, as diferentes culturas, perceber a si mesma e aos outros, tornando-se um ser humano atuante no mundo, se constituindo um adulto autônomo e emancipado. Networks that connect: overcoming challenges in serving higher education students
Get PDFThis study examined the conjuncture of public higher education regarding the obstacles faced by students and the actions of psycho-pedagogical support to overcome them. The study of multiple cases was carried out and the Qualitative Epistemology based the analysis through the Constructive-Interpretative Method. The result indicated a positive evaluation of the psycho-pedagogical support actions offered to students of a Federal identified limits in its proposal and established determinants for the creation of an academic space that combines higher education and university permanence with quality. It is concluded that it is necessary to act on the cause of obstacles, through interconnected and inclusive practices, and by welcoming and co-responsibility in the service to students.Este estudio examinó la coyuntura de la Educación Superior Pública referente a los obstáculos que enfrentan los estudiantes y las acciones de apoyo psicopedagógico para superarlos. Se realizó el estudio de múltiples casos y la Epistemología Cualitativa fundamentó el análisis a través del Método Constructivo-Interpretativo. El resultado indica una evaluación positiva de las acciones de apoyo psicopedagógico ofrecidas a los estudiantes de una Universidad Federal, identificó límites en su propuesta y estableció determinantes para la creación de un espacio académico que conjugue formación superior y permanencia universitaria con calidad. Se concluye que es necesario actuar sobre la causa de los obstáculos, por medio de prácticas interconectadas e inclusivas, y de acogida y corresponsabilidad en el servicio a los estudiantes.This study examined the conjuncture of public higher education regarding the obstacles faced by students and the actions of psycho-pedagogical support to overcome them. Being between walls: plural childhoods and the curricula produced in school institutions
Get PDFThe study aims to reflect on the restriction of children in shelters, whose walls delineate the spaces allowed or prohibited to these children. The research, of a bibliographical nature and qualitative nature, is supported by the postulates of Foucault (2014), which help us understand the constitution of the child being from a questioning perspective, opening up possibilities for understanding the functioning of the institutions aimed at them. In addition, it is based on scholars of the Sociology of Childhood, such as Corsaro (2011), Prout (2004), Sarmento (2007), Tomás et al. (2021), among others, who recognize children as socially competent subjects and producers of culture. The results point to the need for redirections in the dynamics of the shelter institution, based on the concept of children as social actors competent to talk about themselves and the facts around them.El estudio busca reflexionar sobre la restricción de los niños en los albergues, cuyas paredes delimitan los espacios permitidos o prohibidos para estos niños. La investigación, de carácter bibliográfico y de corte cualitativo, se sustenta en los postulados de Foucault (2014), que ayudan a comprender la constitución del ser niño desde una perspectiva cuestionadora, abriendo posibilidades para comprender el funcionamiento de las instituciones dirigidas a ellos. Además, se basa en estudiosos de la Sociología de la Infancia, como Corsaro (2011), Prout (2004), Sarmento (2007), Tomás et al. (2021), entre otros, quienes reconocen a los niños y niñas como sujetos socialmente competentes y productores de cultura. Walls of the School: Thought and Invention in the Union Between School, Childhood, and Philosophy
No full textThe article questions the school institution and some of the truths that permeate the educational sphere, producing ways of being and existing in the world. It presents a study carried out within a research group, discussing some of the data produced in the research, which was conducted with a group of second-grade elementary school children from the public education system in a city in Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. Philosophical problematizations and children\u27s narratives were used as a way to understand how they see the school and to glimpse other possible ways of thinking about this space. The theoretical-methodological tools used for this analysis were Michel Foucault\u27s concept of problematization and Narrative Inquiry. By enhancing modes of thought and childhood inventiveness, the objective was to create alternative possibilities within the school space, aiming at the inventive elaboration of children\u27s relationships with school.

Michel Foucault.El artículo problematiza la institución escolar y algunas verdades que atraviesan el ámbito educativo y producen modos de ser y estar en el mundo. Presenta un estudio realizado dentro de un grupo de investigación, discutiendo algunos datos producidos en la dicha investigación, la cual fue llevada a cabo con un grupo de niños y niñas del segundo año de la educación primaria de la red pública de una ciudad del estado de Rio Grande do Sul, Brasil. Se utilizaron problematizaciones filosóficas y narrativas infantiles como forma de comprender cómo perciben la escuela y vislumbrar otras formas posibles de pensar ese espacio. Las herramientas teórico-metodológicas utilizadas para este análisis fueron el concepto de problematización de Michel Foucault y la Investigación Narrativa. Potenciando las formas de pensamiento e inventiva infantil, se buscó la creación de otras posibilidades dentro del espacio escolar, apuntando a la elaboración inventiva de las relaciones de los niños con la escuela.

Vivências Da Maternidade De Mulheres Profissionais Da Saúde Durante A Pandemia Da Covid-19
Get PDFThe COVID-19 pandemic has exacerbated the burden on working mothers who juggled family care with formal employment in 2020. This qualitative and idiographic study, conducted virtually, investigated the mental health impacts on these women in the healthcare sector. Challenges included facing the fear of infection, adapting to changes in family dynamics, and dealing with professional self-demand. Coping strategies involved family support, use of social networks, and faith. Results indicated impacts expressed through distress, fear, and anxiety, revealing psychological strain. The Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TCC) approach provided deep insights. The study highlights the complexity of challenges faced by multifaceted women during the pandemic, emphasizing the need for integrated approaches in promoting mental health.Keywords: Women. Mothers. Este estudio cualitativo e idiográfico, llevado a cabo virtualmente, investigó los impactos en la salud mental de estas mujeres del área de la salud. Los desafíos incluyeron enfrentar el miedo a la infección, adaptarse a los cambios en la dinámica familiar y lidiar con la autoexigencia profesional. Las estrategias de afrontamiento involucraron apoyo familiar, uso de redes sociales y fe. Los resultados indicaron impactos expresados por angustia, miedo y ansiedad, revelando desgaste psicológico. El enfoque de la Terapia Cognitivo Conductual (TCC) proporcionó percepciones profundas. El estudio destaca la complejidad de los desafíos enfrentados por mujeres multifacéticas en la pandemia, enfatizando la necesidad de enfoques integrados en la promoción de la salud mental.Palabras clave: Mujeres.
