学内NGO、ONE LOVEの軌跡に学ぶ、大学生の国際協力活動の意識と課題その一考察
Get PDFThis paper provides a record of the activities of ONE LOVE, an NGO based on the campus of Okinawa Christian University, for the nine years from its inception until closure. Although many of the students who participated in the organization have graduated and are now working members of society, their ideas, at the time they were associated with ONE LOVE and today as well, have been compiled as to what they believe their experiences have produced. e paper also takes a look at the environment in which ONE LOVE operated and analyzes whether the support provided ONE LOVE was su?cient or not as well as what further support was needed.is paper seeks to examine the educational signicance and future challenges raised by ONE LOVE’s activities against the backdrop of international cooperation, NPO activities and volunteering by university students.departmental bulletin pape

Get PDFヘンリー・ジェイムズ（1843-1916）の長編小説『ある夫人の肖像』（1881）の結末シーンは、これまで多くの批評家を悩ませてきた。それは、アメリカ人の若い女性主人公イザベル・アーチャーが、結婚生活が破綻しているにもかかわらず、夫ギルバート・オズモンドが待つイタリア・ローマへと帰還することを決意する場面である。小論では、イザベルの理解しがたい決定を説明するものとして、彼女が抱く独立（自立）の概念を検討する。イザベルの独立の概念は、当初、経験が浅く、非実用的で、理想化されているが、オズモンドとの悲惨な結婚生活の経験を通して、また、オズモンドの結婚の目的を知ることによって、真の独立とは、自分自身の行動・結果に責任を持つことであるという新たな独立の概念を構築することになる。この修正された新しい独立・自立の概念が、オズモンドとの対決を決意させ、さらに、義理の娘であるパンジーを彼女の父親オズモンドから救済する目的でローマに戻る。彼女のローマへの帰還は、イザベルが他者の幸福に献身的にかかわることができるようになったことを示唆している。 寓話的な読みを採用して主要登場人物に帯びている象徴性を解釈すると、イザベルはアメリカの理念と特性を体現し、オズモンドは、そのアメリカの理念に背後にあるアメリカの闇の部分を体現しており、二人の「あり得ない結婚」は、アメリカ社会の肯定的な面と否定的な面の対峙を意味している。作者ジェイムズにとって、イザベルのオズモンドとの結婚生活の継続は、19世紀アメリカ社会が成熟していく過程には不可避的な文化・社会的な衝突を象徴していると結論付けた。departmental bulletin pape
「自由への読書」のための実践的研究3 : 持続可能な社会への希望としての言語教育
Get PDF「自由への読書」という体系的な言語教育では、4年間の基礎的研究段階を経て、この3年、「平和主義的感性の育成」と基軸とした実践的研究を展開してきた。上原2012では、この時代における様々な課題と向き合う力を育むためにオルタナティブな知の構築として、「神話的思考」の必要性を提唱し、思考実験としての創作神話モデルを示した。上原2013では、実践的研究の第2段階として、ＤＶＤ教材『しでぃる』の解説と「平和への対話をしでぃる」言語教育プロジェクトの実践報告から導き出される、「対話的思考」についての臨床の知の再構築を試みた。本稿では、「オルタナティブな思考としての神話的思考」段階、「平和への対話を生み出す教材作成」段階に続き、「ESD(Education for Sustainable Development)教育としての平和主義的感性の育成」段階として、[ESD教育」「ひとつらなり」「対話的思考」「神話的思考」「科学と芸術の融合」というキーワードに基づく「持続可能な社会のための希望としての言語教育」についての報告を行う。departmental bulletin pape

宮良長包の音楽教育活動に関する研究（8） : 教育誌『教育音楽』を手掛かりに
Get PDF沖縄県の音楽教育の先達者である宮良長包（1883-1939）は、沖縄県師範学校を卒業後、故郷の八重山島高等小学校を皮切りに、沖縄県師範学校付属小学校、そして、沖縄県師範学校で音楽教諭として教鞭を執った。大正11（1922）年頃から（沖縄県師範学校勤務の時）何度か上京したようで、日本教育音楽協会主催の音楽講習会を受講。当時の交通事情を考えれば、並々ならぬ意欲が窮えるが、講習会内容やその後の長包への影響の大きさなどは、資料的手掛かりが皆無と思われ、これまでほとんどわかっていなかった。大正11年、日本の音楽教育者の資質向上のための機運が高まり、「日本教育音楽協会」が発足されることになるが、長包はその立ち上げの会議に、沖縄県から唯一参加していることが、上記“協会”発行の月刊誌『教育音楽』を繙くことで判明した。昭和9（1934）年には、「夏季音楽講習要領」を長包自身が作成し、自ら講師として沖縄県内の学校教育に普及・寄与している。その資料は、『教育音楽』にヒントを得ていることもわかった。本論文は、『教育音楽』の大正12年1月創刊号から昭和14（1939）年までの発行を繙くことにより、長包が上京し講習会で学んだことや、日本教育音楽協会との関わりを通して、沖縄県の音楽教育の資質向上にどのように貢献したかを探求する。さらに、長包は自身が編集した『南島唱歌第一輯』、『宮良長包創作曲集』、『琉球の新民謡』の出版が、『教育音楽』に関わりのあった福井直秋や山田耕筰等の協力で実現していることも判明した。宮良長包は沖縄県の音楽教育に何を求め、何を目指したか、『教育音楽』を手掛かりに、明らかにしたい。尚、「汗水節」（作詞：仲本稔／昭和4（1929）年）の追加研究について、本稿で補足しておく。departmental bulletin pape
キリスト教保育における子どもの人権に関する一考察
Get PDFIn the present paper I would like to look into how nursery school and Kindergarten teachers learn and understand about children's human rights for Christian early childhood care and education and respect for children's human rights in their duty as nursery school and kindergarten teachers. Some people within the greater society discriminate against others based upon their birth, race, national origin, social status, sex, religion, or political persuasion. In addition, too many people have too little concern about those who are marginalized and discriminated against in wider Japanese society. Moreover, it is a fact that nursery school and kindergarten teachers often interact with marginalized people. Therefore nursery school and kindergarten teachers and students who learn about Christian early childhood care and education must learn and understand about human rights. This paper defines the concept of human rights and discusses why nursery school and kindergarten teachers must learn and understand these concepts, especially children's human rights. First, I will examine human rights from legal stand points: Universal Declaration of Human Rights, Convention on the Rights of the Child and the Constitution of Japan etc. Second, I will consider the biblical view of human being including the child. Reflecting on how the course was managed in the first year, the teacher must admit, despite the fact that the most of the students benefited so much from the program, that the program might could fallen into what is called "add a course strategy".
