Enhancing Early Reading Skills in Young Children Through the Implementation of Alphabet Maze Game
No full textEarly reading ability is the initial ability of children in the form of the ability to recognize and voice letters. Based on the observations in TKN An-Nada Aceh Selatan, many children's early reading skills still do not recognize letters, have difficulty mentioning letters, are not able to recognize the sound of letters, are not able to mention letters, and are not able to recognize letter symbols. This study aims to determine the application of the letter maze to develop the early reading skills of children in TKN An-Nada Aceh Selatan. This type of research is an experiment with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The population in this study was 45 children, while the sample in this study was 15 children. Data collection techniques were done through observation and documentation. The pretest value obtained is 18.75, and the posttest value is 83.33. The value of tcount is 8.8, and the value of ttable is 1.745. This shows that the value of tcount> ttable is 8.8> 1.761, so there is a rejection of Ho and an acceptance of Ha. So, it can be concluded that there is a difference in the value between the tcount and the ttable, and it can be concluded that the application of the letter maze can develop the ability to read early childhood beginnings at TKN An-Nada Aceh Selatan
Strengthening The Character Trait of Peacefulness through Habitual Communication Practice of ‘3S’ (Smiling, Greeting, Saying Hello) at Early Childhood Education and Care
No full textAbstract: This study aims to describe the reinforcement of the character trait of peacefulness in students through the habitual communication practice of the "3S" approach ("senyum," "salam," and "sapa") or smiling, greeting, saying hello at Taman Todda Qur'ani Early Childhood Education (PAUD) School in Jepara. The research employs a qualitative approach, with the study conducted at Taman Todda Qur'ani PAUD School in Jepara. The primary data sources for this research include the principal and teachers within the school environment. Data collection techniques involve interviews, observations, and documentation related to reinforcing the character of peacefulness through the habitual communication practice of the "3S" approach. The data analysis process involves data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The findings indicate that the habitual communication practice of "3S" effectively strengthens the students' character of peacefulness in the early childhood education environment of Taman Todda Qur'ani PAUD. Indicators of peaceful character include speaking politely to others when resolving conflicts, avoiding physical force, and demonstrating mutual love and care. The character of peacefulness is an attitude that fosters a sense of calm, safety, and comfort within society
CHALLENGES IN IMPLEMENTING INCLUSIVE EDUCATION IN AN INDONESIAN KINDERGARTEN; A CASE STUDY
No full textThis study is a case study exploring the challenges of implementing inclusive education at Star Kindergarten, a private kindergarten in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. Data collection was conducted through observations and interviews with two teachers who have students with disabilities in their classes. The data were then analyzed using the three-step analysis method recommended by Miles and Huberman. The findings indicate that both students and teachers have positive attitudes towards inclusive education. However, three challenges may hinder the implementation of inclusive education at Star Kindergarten, despite the school serving children from upper-middle-class socioeconomic backgrounds. These challenges are the teachers’ lack of knowledge due to not coming from early childhood education programs, insufficient training provided by the school, and minimal parental support. Professional training for teachers and parent-school collaboration is necessary to support the implementation of inclusive education in kindergarten
Leveraging The Animated Video Ibra Berkisah To Prevent Bullying In Early Childhood
No full textTo prevent bullying in early childhood, it is crucial to introduce children to the impacts of bullying from an early age. As a widely popular platform among children, YouTube can serve as an effective medium for educating them about the consequences of bullying. This research explores how the animated video “Ibra Berkisah,” mainly the episode titled “Bully,” can be used as an educational tool to prevent bullying in early childhood. The study adopts a qualitative descriptive design, which is well-suited for investigating and understanding the animated video “Ibra Berkisah” application in addressing bullying behaviors among young children. Data collection methods likely include observations, interviews, and documentation to evaluate the video’s effectiveness in teaching anti-bullying values. The study involved 26 kindergarten children as participants. The findings indicate that the children could identify bullying behaviors and take proactive steps to prevent such actions in their interactions. The results suggest that the animated video “Ibra Berkisah” is highly suitable for early childhood audiences, as it conveys numerous moral messages in a manner that is easy for children to understand. The video’s engaging format and straightforward narrative make it accessible and appealing, enhancing its effectiveness as an educational tool

Data dikumpulkan dari hasil wawancara dengan narasumber pengelola dan dokter penanggnungjawab klinik, yang mengendalikan proses pelayanan prima pasien. Selain itu, juga wawancara dengan wakil pasien, panerima pelayanan prima. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membahas lebih dalam mengenai peran komunikasi interpersonal dalam mendukung pelayanan prima di industri hospitality di kedua negara. Temuan Penelitian: 1) setiap klinik memiliki standar pelayanan prima, yang dikembangkan dari Standar Operasional Prosedur Klinik milik Departemen/Dinas Kesehatan setempat. 2) Standar pelayanan prima melalui komunikasi interpersonal dilakuan dengan teknik komunikatif, persuasif dan kuratif. 3) agar mendapatkan respons (positif/negatif) pengelola meminta pasien memberikan input lisan, terulis, maupun melalui media website dan instagram. Manfaat Penelitian ini adalah mendapatkan praktik komunikasi interpersonal efektif dalam prlayanan prima di klinik kesehatan di Indonesia maupun Timor Leste
Student Involvement Within Islamic Teacher Education: For a Future Profession
No full textThe purpose of this article was to explore student involvement in teaching and learning, focusing on the experiences of third-year students in the Indonesian Islamic Education Study Program teacher program. Student involvement was defined as having three aspects: students exhibit active classroom participation, students influence the curriculum design, and students feel they are part of the community. The findings were reported based on interview studies and process analysis, the involvement of learning methods, and the motivation for student involvement. The findings revealed that students had multiple understandings of student involvement and that the level of involvement depended on student and lecturer involvement, expectations, and responsibilities. Student lecturers also linked student involvement to the use of teaching methods, learning, and their future professions as teachers of Islamic religious education. Students mainly discussed intrinsic motivation (beneficial for learning) for student involvement, but traces of altruistic motivation (civics learning) were also observed. Extrinsic motivation (university benefits), however, was absent. Voices of resistance to student involvement were also present; these students preferred lecturer-led education and were unaccustomed to high levels of involvement. Student understanding of engagement challenges the lecturer–student role in the education of teachers in Islamic religious education specifically, and in Islamic higher education in general. Acknowledging students’ diverse understanding of student involvement is important. Overall, based on student experience, involvement creates participation and the motivation to study here and now and for future professions. Studies show that student involvement has inherent value beyond the benefits of measurable outcomes, in which the use of teaching, engagement, and learning methods for future professions is promoted
Emerging Themes and Research Directions in Halal Fashion: A Bibliometric Study
No full textThis study aims to explore the trends and developments in Halal fashion studies published in Scopus-indexed journals. This study uses a quantitative method of bibliometric analysis to analyze the characteristics of articles, keywords, abstracts, authors, and related journals. This study analyzed a total of 17 articles written by 50 authors and published in 17 different journals. The results showed that research on the phrase Halal fashion experienced a significant increase from 2009 to 2023. In the source analysis category, the Journal of Islamic Marketing ranks top in Halal fashion publications in terms of impact measurement and total citations. Based on the author analysis category, it was found that Management and Science University and the University of Indonesia were the affiliations of authors who ranked first. The author's country affiliation places Indonesia in the first place, followed by China and Malaysia. In the document analysis category, Echchaibi's work published in 2009 ranked first in terms of citations. In the category of word analysis, the keywords that are widely used by the authors are Halal fashion, hijab, Islam, and Islamic marketing. The research makes a significant contribution to mapping trends in research related to Halal fashion
Impulse Buying Behavior of Generation Z Urban Muslims on Shopee
No full textThis study aims to analyze the effect of flash sales and free shipping taglines on impulse buying behavior among Generation Z urban Muslim users of the Shopee marketplace. The research design employs quantitative methods with a sample size of 97 Generation Z urban Muslim respondents in Banjarmasin City. The data analysis utilizes multiple linear regression. The results showed that flash sale significantly affects impulsive buying behavior, while the free shipping tagline has no significant effect. This study contributes to providing empirical evidence about the behavioral preferences of Generation Z urban Muslim consumers, especially impulse buying behavior in online shopping. In the context of marketing, e-commerce platforms must consider the distinctive characteristics of Generation Z urban Muslims when developing promotional strategies to boost sales

Orang tua digital native seharusnya mengetahui bagaimana pemanfaatan media digital yang baik dalam proses komunikasi parenting untuk mendukung tercapainya proses tumbuh kembang yang optimal. Oleh karena itu, Penelitian ini mencari tahu bagaimana orang tua digital native di Kota Bandar Lampung memanfaatkan media digital dalam proses komunikasi parenting anak usia dini.Dengan menganalisis kebutuhan dan perilaku digital orang tua menggunakan teori Uses and Gratification, dan menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif yang didukung oleh metode analisis pustaka, ditemukan bahwa Orang tua digital native di Kota Bandar Lampung menggunakan dan memanfaatkan media digital dalam proses komunikasi parenting anak usia dini. The Ngasa ritual was originally an expression of gratitude to Batara Windu Buana, who is believed to be the creator of the universe who has provided abundant sustenance, so this ritual became controversial. This article aims to map the Jalawastu community and reveal the meaning behind the symbols of their life. Emic perception is the basis for exploring data and analyzing it using a semiotic paradigm. This researcher uses an ideational ethnographic approach. With this approach, it is hoped that many facts can be presented satisfactorily. The findings of this research indicate that there is a pattern of religious and cultural relations, namely the accumulative Islamic style adopted by the Jalawastu people in the Ngasanya tradition.
