    Implementing provus discrepancy model in reconstructing science learning planning course

    The effectiveness of a course needs to be evaluated to determine whether the course is relevant to the graduate profile. The development of science and technology makes it necessary for a course to be reconstructed . This study aims to reconstruct the science learning planning course using the Provus model based on the gap theory with four stages, namely design, installation, process, and product. The research method used is an evaluative method. Data collection was carried out by interview, observation, and documentation. Data sources in this study include the actions or words of the lecturers of science learning planning course, heads of study programs, RPS, SN-DIKTI standard documents, and descriptions of the science learning process. The standard process in lectures has been implemented; however, there are several gaps that have occurred. First, there is a mismatch in the implementation of learning, particularly in the aspect of alignment between the learning process and research and community service activities. Second, there is a gap in the variable of student study load, namely the absence of alignment in credit units within the cluster of courses related to science learning planning

    This study aims to analyze the effect of gender diversity and the independence of the Sharia Supervisory Board (SSB) on the market performance of Islamic banks in Indonesia. The background of this study is based on the limited empirical studies that assess the role of gender diversity and DPS independence in the context of market-oriented Islamic banking governance. The research method uses a quantitative approach with panel data regression analysis based on the Random Effect Model (REM). Data were obtained from financial reports and publications of Islamic banks during the 2014–2024 period. The result show that gender diversity has a positive and significant effect on market performance. In contrast, the SSB independence variable (X₂) shows a coefficient of 0.0017, a probability value of 0.4176 (p > 0.05), and a t-statistic of 0.8135, indicating an insignificant statistical effect on market performance. Simultaneously, the F-test result shows that the regression model is significant at the 95% confidence level with an F-statistic of 5.9217 and Prob(F-statistic) = 0.0035. The Adjusted R² value of 0.0758 indicates that the independent variables jointly explain 7.58% of the variation in the market performance of Islamic banks, while 92.42% is explained by other factors outside the model. These findings confirm that gender diversity within the SSB contributes to enhancing market confidence and perception toward Islamic banks’ performance, whereas SSB independence has yet to demonstrate a significant role in influencing market-based performance.

    The Role of Sharia Compliance, Governance, and Firm Size in Determining Free Cash Flow: Evidence from Energy Sector

    Cash flow efficiency is essential for corporate sustainability, especially in capital-intensive industries like the energy sector. This study aims to examine the effect of sharia compliance, audit quality, government effectiveness, and firm size on free cash flow. The research employs a panel data regression approach with a random effect model, analyzing 61 energy companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2020 to 2023, resulting in 243 firm-year observations. The findings reveal that Sharia compliance, audit quality, and firm size have a significant positive effect on free cash flow, while government effectiveness has a significant negative effect. The study is grounded in agency theory and stakeholder theory, contributing to the Islamic corporate finance literature and financial sustainability. One limitation of this study is its sectoral focus and the exclusion of macroeconomic variables. The findings offer practical support for regulators, investors, and policymakers to enhance ethical governance and financial outcomes

    There are still teachers who do less varied social studies-history lessons, which makes students bored and learning less lively and meaningful. To overcome this, teachers are expected to apply learning models that can attract students' attention. This research aims to obtain information about constructivist learning and improve the quality of social studies learning through the use of the Jepara Kartini Museum. This research uses a descriptive-qualitative approach with a type of field research. Data was collected through interview techniques, observation, and documentation studies. Data analysis with the Miles and Huberman interactive model. The research results show that learning by utilizing the Jepara Kartini Museum is by constructivism theory, where students get a real picture of learning activities. Through exploration, students gain direct experience in the knowledge-construction process. Utilization of the Jepara Kartini Museum as a learning resource is relevant to social studies-history learning material in grades IV, VI, VII, and. Students can also strengthen their religious character, tolerance, nationalism, cooperation, hard work, curiosity, and democracy. Masih ada guru yang melakukan pembelajaran IPS-sejarah kurang bervariasi sehingga membuat peserta didik menjadi jenuh dan pembelajaran menjadi kurang hidup dan kurang bermakna. Untuk mengatasi hal ini, guru diharapkan menerapkan model pembelajaran yang dapat menarik perhatian peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh informasi tentang pembelajaran konstruktivisme dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran IPS melalui pemanfaatan Museum Kartini Jepara. Penelitian ini memakai pendekatan deskriptif-kualitatif dengan jenis riset lapangan. Data dikumpulkan melalui teknik wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi. Analisis data dengan model interaktif Miles dan Huberman. Hasil penelitian bahwa pembelajaran dengan memanfaatkan Museum Kartini Jepara sesuai dengan teori konstruktivisme dimana peserta didik mendapatkan gambaran nyata dari aktivitas pembelajaran. Melalui eksplorasi, peserta didik mendapatkan pengalaman langsung atas proses konstruksi pengetahuan. Pemanfaatan Museum Kartini Jepara sebagai sumber pembelajaran relevan dengan materi pembelajaran IPS-sejarah pada kelas IV, VI, VII, dan X. Dengan memanfaatkan Museum Kartini Jepara dapat meningkatkan kreativitas, kesadaran, minat dan motivasi belajar, pemahaman dan hasil belajar, serta kemampuan berpikir kritis.     Rimpu Culture as a Means of Instilling Islamic Character Values at Madrasah Aliyah Environment

    This study aims to analyze the Rimpu culture as a means of instilling Islamic character values in students at Madrasah Aliyah environment. The location of the study was at the Madrasah Aliyah in Bima City, West Nusa Tenggara. This study used a descriptive qualitative method with data collection using observation, interview, and documentation instruments. The collection technique was carried out in four stages, namely: data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and verification (drawing conclusions). The results of this study indicated that the application of local culture to instill the Islamic character values is still rarely used in the Madrasah Aliyah environment. In this case, the Rimpu culture can be an effective means for optimizing the instillation of Islamic character values at Madrasah Aliyah environment. The Rimpu culture is a traditional dress of the Bima community which is worn to cover the entire body. The Islamic values covered by the Rimpu culture are such as; obedience to Allah's commands, the obligation to cover the genitals, politeness and shame, as well as simplicity and sincerity. The instillation of Rimpu cultural values in the Madrasah Aliyah environment can be done by integrating it into the education curriculum, extracurricular activities, holding religious and cultural events, and schools making policies that support Rimpu culture in instilling Islamic character values in students  at Madrasah Aliyah environment

    Stimulating Problem-Solving Skills in Early Childhood: A Qualitative Thematic Literature Review of Learning Strategies

    Problem-solving skills are essential 21st-century competencies needed to equip children for navigating an increasingly complex global landscape. However, comprehensive syntheses of effective learning strategies that align with the Indonesian ECE context remain limited in recent research. This study is a qualitative literature review using a synthetic–thematic approach conducted through systematic searches on Google Scholar, ERIC, DOAJ, and ResearchGate, with inclusion criteria covering publications from 2020–2025, relevance to early childhood problem-solving development, and empirical grounding. Twenty-one articles that met the criteria were analyzed using Braun and Clarke’s thematic analysis procedures. The results show that consistently effective strategies include the STEAM approach, project-based learning, simple science experiments, traditional games, and constructive play—all of which promote exploration, causal reasoning, creativity, and collaboration. Key challenges include limited teacher competence, insufficient exploratory facilities, and low levels of family engagement. Theoretically, the findings reinforce the importance of constructivist and sociocultural perspectives in the development of problem-solving skills, while practically, they highlight the urgency of strengthening teacher capacity and designing stimulus-rich learning environments. The novelty of this study lies in its comprehensive integration of multiple pedagogical approaches within a single analytical framework sensitive to the Indonesian context. Overall, this review provides an important conceptual foundation and strategic direction for future research and ECE practices aimed at enhancing problem-solving abilities in young children

    Digital Transformation in Early Childhood Education Units with Limited Access to Digital Resources

    This research generally aims to analyze digital transformation in Formal PAUD units, namely Kindergarten  with the limitations of digital technology. This research departs from three reasons, namely, technology plays an important role in supporting learning in the digital era, including in Formal Early Childhood Education, not all Formal Early Childhood education institutions have adequate digital technology resources and there is a significant gap between Formal Early Childhood Education institutions in urban areas and rural areas in terms of access to technology, institutions in urban areas are easier to obtain technological resources,  Meanwhile, institutions in rural areas are still very limited. The approach and method in this study are qualitative descriptive. Data collection was carried out through observation and interviews with 4 Formal PAUD institutions, consisting of 4 Kindergarten Principals and 4 Kindergarten teachers in Bansari District, Temanggung Regency. From the results of the study, it was found that there are limitations in digital technology infrastructure faced by Formal PAUD units in the highland rural areas of Temanggung Regency, the gap in access to digital technology. This greatly affects the quality of learning and digital competence of teachers in the Formal PAUD unit in the rural highland area of Temanggung Regency

    Penelitian ini dilandasi oleh latar belakang perkembangan zaman di era yang menyebabkan informasi luar mudah diakses dan perubahan pola konsumsi media masyarakat. Seperti yang diketahui sekarang banyak masyarakat lebih suka mengikuti budaya luar daripada budaya negeri sendiri. Terutama generasi muda zaman sekarang lebih mengikuti gaya dan budaya keseharian dari negara luar seperti menonton K-Pop, anime dan lain sebagainya daripada dengan budaya negara sendiri seperti tarian adat, pentas seni, dan musik daerah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui proses produksi konten kreatif di media YouTube @disbudparsalatigachannel3347 dalam melestarikan budaya lokal Salatiga. Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah produksi kreatif. Penulis merumuskan dua pertanyaan terkait dengan judul yang diangkat pertama, bagaimana proses produksi konten kreatif video tentang budaya lokal Salatiga dan kedua konten apa saja yang menjadi unggulan pada akun YouTube @disbudparsalatigachannel3347. Dalam penelitian ini peneliti menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Adapun hasil temuan dari penelitian ini yaitu proses produksi konten kreatif dalam melestarikan budaya lokal di YouTube @disbudparsalatigachannel3347 berjalan sesuai dengan perencanaan dan tujuan meskipun ada beberapa kendala yang menjadi penghambat

    A Comparative Study of Electronic-Based Sexual Violence: Maqashid Shari'ah Perspective on Indonesia's Law No. 12 of 2022 and Malaysia's Legal Framework

    In order to combat the growing problem of sexual assault, particularly that which occurs through digital media, the Sexual Violence Criminal Acts Law (Law No. 12 of 2022) was introduced. It is crucial to determine if this law complies with the goals of Islamic law, or Maqashid Shari’ah, given that the majority of Indonesia’s population is Muslim. The types of Electronic-Based Sexual Violence that are covered by the law and their assessment from the standpoint of Maqashid Shari'ah are the two main topics of this study. Using a normative legal research approach with literature analysis, this study finds that the law identifies three forms of electronic-based sexual violence: (1) recording or taking sexual images without consent, (2) transmitting sexual content against the recipient's will, and (3) online sexual harassment or stalking. These actions contradict Maqashid Shari’ah as they cause harm and are explicitly prohibited in Islam. While the law seeks to provide protection and aligns with the broader goals of Maqashid Shari’ah, its implementation of Islamic values remains gradual (tadarruj) rather than comprehensive. This research contributes both theoretically and practically by offering insights into legal and Islamic perspectives on electronic-based sexual violence

    The Religious Spirit Embedded in The Work Ethic of Female Workers at PT. Rokok Djarum Kudus

    The phenomenon of workers in factories has become a real reality. Women as a living entity have become part of the family's economic life, but the spirit of work for women is part of religious expression. Work ethic, religion and regulations are part of the life of women factory workers in Kudus. This research aimed to observe the religious spirit embedded inside work ethic of female workers at PT. Rokok Djarum Kudus and the relationship of work ethic with religious fanatics that are part of women's lives. According to Sjafri Sairin's economic exchange and Mudrajad Kuntjoro's work ethic theories by qualitative analysis cross collected data by interviews, observations with purposive sampling, and documentation are the main parts of the study’s exploration. The research findings show that the very strict regulations from the company do not make them give up on their work but remain enthusiastic about building a productive work ethic. The work ethic of these female workers is evident in their daily factory work and their religious practices, both at work and at home. These female workers are able to provide a decent living for their families and the companies they work for
