Internalisasi Nilai-nilai Moderasi Beragama Sunan Kudus Melalui Pembelajaran IPS di MTs Negeri Kabupaten Kudus
Indonesia's diverse society necessitates respect for differences in daily social interactions. Internalizing religious moderation values is crucial for fostering mutual respect, particularly through education like Social Sciences (IPS) learning, using the local wisdom approach of Sunan Kudus. This study aims to: 1) understand the principles of religious moderation exhibited by Sunan Kudus in spreading Islam; and 2) analyze the internalization of these values in MTs Negeri Kudus. Utilizing a qualitative method, data was collected through observation, interviews, and documentation from 18 informants (16 students and 2 IPS teachers) across MTs N 1 Kudus and MTs N 2 Kudus, selected via purposive sampling. The result : 1) Sunan Kudus's religious moderation is built upon 4 main principles: a) tawassuth (moderation); b) tasamuh (tolerance); c) al-la'unf (non-violence); and d) i'tiraf al-'urf (acknowledgment of local customs). 2) The internalization of these values is structured within a learning module and implemented through three stages: value transformation, value transaction, and value transinternalization. This research suggests that integrating local wisdom, such as the exemplary values of Sunan Kudus, can enrich Social Sciences learning, offering a more complete delivery of materials and fostering attitudes of religious moderation among students
The Effect of ESG Disclosure on Firm Value: The Moderating Role of The Reporting Format
This study examines the effect of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) disclosure on firm value by incorporating reporting format as a moderating variable. This study uses a quantitative approach to investigate mining companies listed on the Indonesia Sharia Stock Index (ISSI) from 2020 to 2024. The results indicate that ESG disclosure has a positive and statistically significant impact on firm value. The Reporting Format can moderate the relationship between ESG and company value and the relationship between ESG Disclosure and Firm Value remains significant and positive. Theoretically, this study highlights that the reporting format influences market perception, while practically, it supports regulators in strengthening the quality of sustainability reporting.
Snowball Throwing Learning Model (STLM): Is It Effective to Improve Students' Cognitive Abilities and Learning Motivation in History Learning at the High School Level
History learning, especially at the high school level, requires innovation because it often faces obstacles in the form of extensive material that can leave students less motivated and make it challenging to achieve optimal cognitive performance. This study aims to test the effectiveness of the Snowball Throwing Learning Model (STLM) in improving students' cognitive ability and learning motivation in Dutch colonial materials in grade XI of SMAN 1 Kauman. The research used a quasi-experimental design with a quantitative approach, involving an experimental group and a control group consisting of 30 students each. Data were collected via learning outcome tests and motivation questionnaires and analyzed using t-tests and MANOVA. The results showed a significance value (2-tailed) of 0.000, which is smaller than 0.05, indicating that STLM has a significant effect on students' motivation and cognitive abilities. This model encourages students to actively engage in cooperative activities, exchange information, and develop critical thinking skills through the dynamic process of creating and discussing questions. In addition, STLM enhances classroom interaction, students' creativity, and their understanding of historical concepts. These findings suggest that STLM is effectively applied in history learning at the high school level and has the potential to be adopted more widely to support active, collaborative, and meaningful learning
The Perspective of Integrated Islamic Elementary School (SDIT) Students Regarding the Needs of English Language Teaching Material to Develop Islamic-Based Language Literacy
This research was conducted due to problems that arose in integrated Islamic elementary schools (SDIT) due to a lack of English language teaching materials aligned with the Islamic school orientation. This study innovates by developing English language teaching material models for SDITs. It examines the need for these models from the perspective of SDIT students. Qualitative methods and research and development (R&D) were employed. Data was collected through a questionnaire containing ten close-ended questions and one open-ended question. The results indicate that Integrated Islamic elementary schools (SDIT) need more English language teaching materials, even though they like the current materials. They enjoy singing in English but find reading English stories difficult. Additionally, they mentioned wanting content about Muslim children's daily lives and fun games added to their English language teaching materials. In conclusion, Integrated Islamic elementary schools (SDIT)’s perspectives indicate that the development of English language teaching material models is needed
The Influence of the RICOSRE Model on Science Literacy and Cognitive Learning Outcomes of The Immune System
This research was motivated by the low scientific literacy and cognitive learning outcomes of students on the immune system, which have not yet met learning standards. This is due to the ineffectiveness of lecture methods and other models. The study aimed to examine the effect of the RICOSRE learning model on scientific literacy and cognitive learning outcomes. The research design used a pretest-posttest nonequivalent control group design, with samples from experimental class XI 1 and control class XI, drawn by purposive sampling. Instruments included interview guidelines, teaching modules, scientific literacy questions, cognitive learning outcome questions, validation sheets, and syntax implementation sheets. Data were obtained from the pretest and posttest scores of both classes. Data were analyzed using ANCOVA. The results showed an average post-test score of 80.14 for the experimental class, higher than 72.74 for the control class. The average post-test score for cognitive learning outcomes for the experimental class was 83.44, higher than 70.74 for the control class. The significance value for scientific literacy was 0.013 and for cognitive learning outcomes was 0.000, indicating a significant difference between the two classes. RICOSRE learning model positively impacted students' scientific literacy and cognitive learning outcomes on the immune system topic.
Cash Waqf Accountability and Digital Technology in West Sumatera: A Case Study
This study investigates the utilization of digital technology in promoting accountability for cash waqf in West Sumatra. Employing a qualitative case study approach, Nazhir M was selected as the research subject due to its diverse waqf programmes, strong management, wide range of donors, multi-location operations, and foundation on key waqf principles. Data were gathered through semi-structured interviews and document analysis, with thematic analysis applied during data evaluation. The findings indicate that Nazhir M has adopted digital technology to enhance accountability, albeit at a basic level, primarily throught its official website and social media platforms. While Nazhir M possesses skilled personnel capable of utilising waqf accounting applications such as SAMAWI, manual financial reporting remains prevalent due to regulatory constraints. This research highlights the significant influence of regulatory authorities in shaping accountability practices among cash waqf nazhir through digital technology implementation. Furthermore, it offers a meaningful contribution to existing scholarship by delivering a comprehensive examination of digital technology adoption, highlighting the importance of nazhir intent and expertise, as well as the pivotal role of regulatory bodies
Islamic Consumption Behavior: The Student Lodgers Towards Packaged Food in Aceh
Consumption behaviour in Islam must pay attention to halal and tayyib (wholesome). Packaged food for student lodgers is relatively the leading choice. This research observes the influence of halal labelling, religiosity, and price on students' decisions to buy packaged food, and factors that influence students' choices of packaged food products from an Islamic economic perspective. The uniqueness of the research lies in the object of research which are the student lodgers towards packaged food in Aceh. Primary data is used through a mixed-method approach that combines quantitative and qualitative data. The quantitative respondents were 100 respondents taken using the non-probability sampling method and purposive sampling technique, using multiple linear regression. Qualitative is the result of interviews with three respondents who live in dormitories, boarding house, and rental house. Quantitative results show that the variables of the price and religiosity have a positive and significant effect on packaged food purchase decisions. But the halal labelling variable does not have a positive effect on packaged food purchase decisions. The results of qualitative research imply that the student lodgers in choosing packaged food are influenced by: expiration date, price, packaging, product efficiency, advertising, religiosity, and habit factors. Halal labelling is less considered because of the role of the government and ulama (Islamic scholar) to protect the halal food products
Strategies for Introducing Arabic Numbers and Colors in Early Childhood Education
Arabic language learning for early childhood is often hindered by monotonous strategies, making it difficult for children to grasp the material effectively. This study describes the strategies used to introduce numbers and colours in Arabic at an early childhood education institution (RA) in Central Java. The research involved children from group A1 and a class 1 teacher as subjects. A qualitative approach was employed, with data collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The findings indicate that the strategies used to introduce Arabic numbers and colors to young children involved memory, cognitive, and compensation strategies, combined with singing, conversation, and play methods. The integration of these strategies and methods enhanced the children’s engagement and attention in learning numbers 1–10 and basic colors in Arabic. Despite challenges such as limited facilities and children’s easily diverted attention, the learners remained enthusiastic, attentive, and showed cooperation in pronouncing numbers and colors in Arabic
Barrier Factors and Alternative Solutions in Understanding Vertical Addition–Subtraction Concept for Second-Grade Students of MI Ihyaul Islam I
This study aims to examine in depth the factors that cause students' difficulties in understanding mathematical concepts for grade II students at MI Ihyaul Islam I, especially in the material of addition and subtraction, and to compile alternative solutions that are relevant and applicable. The main issues identified included limited understanding of place value, inaccuracies in aligning numbers vertically, the confusing use of term ‘borrowing’, and students passive responses when encontering difficulties. This study adopted a qualitative descriptive approach with data collection techniques in the form of direct observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The findings of this study revealed that students' difficulties in the learning process are influenced by internal factors, such as lack of mastery at basic concepts and low self-confidence, as well as external factors that include a less varied teaching approach and limited use of learning media by teachers. To overcome these obstacles, this study recommends several strategic steps, including the use of concrete aids (manipulatives) to strengthen understanding of place value, the use of more appropriate terms to replace the concept of "borrowing", and the application of interactive and digital technology-based learning, such as Canva. The results of this study are expected to be a practical reference for educators in developing more effective learning methods and encouraging increased understanding of basic mathematical concepts in elementary school students
Social Dimensions of Radicalism in Islamic University Environments: A Systematic Review of Literature
The phenomenon of radicalism in Indonesia is a black mark for country that must be eradicated from its roots. However, several recent findings show that the birth of radicalism began in universities with an Islamic background, a very contradictory fact in religious obligations as a solution for the community, which is one of the indicators contributing to radicalism in Indonesia. From that point, this study has three research questions including: first, what are the forms of radicalism that occur in the environment of Islamic universities in Indonesia? second, what are the factors contribute to the spread of radicalism in Islamic universities in Indonesia? third, what strategies are implemented by Islamic universities to overcome radicalism? The objectives of this study are to analyze the manifestations and driving factors of radicalism within Islamic higher education institutions in Indonesia, and to explore the preventive measures implemented by these institutions. The method used was a systematic literature review with publication data in 2020-2025, while the data analysis used was PRISMA analysis. The study results showed the forms of radicalism in Islamic universities, including exclusive ideological groups, anti-nationalism, and digital spread. Against the background of several factors, such as socio-economic, campus environment and culture, external influences, and openness of digital information, universities have provided several strategies to overcome radicalism. This study also extended the theoretical implications of Berger and Luckmann's ‘The Social Construction of Reality by incorporating social empowerment as a pivotal closure mechanism’
