The Effect of Economic Regulations on Foot-and-Mouth Disease on the Cattle Industry in Muria Raya: An Analysis of Commercial and Socio-Economic Losses Families of cattle farmers who have suffered

    No full text
The Foot and Mouth Disease (FMD) outbreak in Central Java has raised serious concerns regarding high transmission rates, economic losses, and weak biosecurity at the farmer level. This situation calls for more effective regulations and management strategies from the government. This study aims to analyze the economic impact of the FMD outbreak, identify the factors causing the spread of the disease, and evaluate the socio-economic implications for farmers and the community. The study employs a qualitative approach, utilizing data collection methods such as observation, in-depth interviews with farmers in the Pati, Rembang, and Kudus districts, and literature review. Data were analyzed using descriptive analysis techniques, including categorization and data reduction. The results of the study indicate that the FMD outbreak in Muria Raya was caused by the entry of infected livestock through cattle traders from East Java and Aceh, exacerbated by the government's delayed response and limited access to vaccination. The Central Java Provincial Government has issued various regulations and formed a Rapid Response Unit (URC), but its implementation faces obstacles in the form of uneven vaccine distribution. The economic impacts include direct losses such as livestock deaths and reduced productivity, as well as indirect losses such as supply chain disruptions and loss of market access due to zoning policies and the closure of animal markets for over a month. The socio-economic implications of the PMK outbreak are significant for livestock farmers' families, including reduced income, increased costs for traditional medicine, forced borrowing, and education expenses for children. This study concludes that handling FMD outbreaks requires an integrated approach through regulatory strengthening, responsive government economic support, and a risk factor-based prevention system. Successful control depends heavily on synergy between the government, farmers, and stakeholders to minimize socio-economic impacts

This study examines the role of parents in shaping the religious character of children aged 7 to 12 at Madin Al Istiqomah. The research aims to identify and evaluate the influence of parents on children’s character development. A descriptive qualitative approach was utilized, with data collected through interviews, observations, and document analysis. Findings reveal that parents act as primary introducers of religious values through strategies such as role modeling, habituation of worship practices, and utilizing leisure time for positive activities. The madrasah diniyah complements this role by providing spiritual programs, and collaboration between parents and the institution fosters a supportive environment for children’s religious growth despite challenges from environmental factors and social media. This study contributes to the literature on family-based religious education and offers practical guidance for parents and educators on enhancing children’s moral and spiritual development.

After being given group guidance, the 6 students were asked to complete the post-test and the average result was 108.83. Based on the results of the paired sample t-test analysis, it can be obtained that the calculated t is greater than the t table, namely 37.041> 2.571 and Sig. (2 tailed) = 0.000 < 0.05, then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. So it can be concluded that the Islamic group guidance model based on KBS (Knowledge Based Society) is proven to be effective. No full text
Previous studies on the management of zakat and waqf in Indonesia tend to use an objective perspective and do not accommodate subjective perspectives. This study aims to complement the shortcomings of previous studies by analyzing the problems faced in the management of zakat and cash waqf in Indonesia from a subjective perspective, namely by involving a society with their culture. In line with that, two questions are formulated: First, how is the implementation of zakat and cash waqf management in Indonesia? And second, what are the problems faced in the implementation of zakat and cash waqf management in Indonesia? This study is field research with a qualitative-subjective approach. From the results of the study found two answers to the problem formulation. First, the management of zakat and cash waqf in Indonesia is quite adequate in terms of zakat and cash waqf regulations. However, in terms of achieving philanthropy from the community, it is not optimal. Second, the main obstacles in zakat management in Indonesia are the lack of management effectiveness, the lack of human resources (HR), and the still low level of awareness of muzakki. And the main obstacles in the management of cash waqf are three things, namely: weak literacy, weak trust and limited number of fundraisers spread throughout Indonesia

    No full text
This research originates from the widespread problems in contemporary digital transactions that have not been sufficiently addressed through studies of fiqh muʿāmalah or maqāṣid al-sharīʿah, indicating an urgent need for a theoretical framework capable of responding to the challenges of transactions in the digital era. Accordingly, this study offers the concept of Transactional Maqāṣid as a normative parameter to ensure that contractual practices remain within the bounds of sharia. Employing a library-based method with a conceptual approach and descriptive analysis, this study examines the relevance of maqāṣid al-sharīʿah to the dynamics of digital transactions, which are marked by information obscurity, vulnerability to fraud, and potential data manipulation. The findings demonstrate that Transactional Maqāṣid emphasize justice and certainty as foundational principles that produce mutual satisfaction (tarāḍī) among the parties, which is achieved by avoiding five elements that undermine transactional integrity: gharar, ghishsh, ribā, qimār, and ḍarar. To actualize these principles, Transactional Maqāṣid encourage enhanced transparency, documentation, and guarantees, all of which strengthen trust while providing higher levels of legal protection. Ultimately, this study concludes that the application of Transactional Maqāṣid in digital transactions provides legal certainty, reduces the potential for civil disputes, and ensures that sharia values remain relevant in the development of the digital economy

Using a qualitative approach, semi-structured interviews and focus group discussions were conducted with seven participants to gather in-depth insights into their experiences and perceptions regarding reelection in the microteaching course. The results showed that student-teachers were concerned about preparing before conducting microteaching, including searching for materials to construct a lesson plan, conducting teaching performance and evaluation, and perceiving positive arguments in the reflections given by the teacher and peers. Having strengths and weaknesses from the comments made student-teachers tend to improve their performance in the next practice. The results of this investigation have significant practical relevance for evaluating student-teachers’ teaching performance through reflection practice and for helping future teachers fulfil their requirement to be professional teachers

    No full text
This research explores the role of waqf as a social and economic development instrument in Islamic finance, focusing on its contributions to poverty reduction, empowerment of minorities and women, and financial inclusion. The researcher gathered, evaluated, and synthesized relevant literature sources on the study subject through a literature review. Academic resources, including Google Scholar, Springer, ScienceDirect, and Scopus, were utilized to search for the works, which comprised journal articles, books, reports, theses, and policy papers. The review entails identifying the primary themes present in the literature, while also critically assessing the study methods, findings, and generalizability. This study utilizes literature reviews and secondary data analysis to illuminate the role of waqf in supporting disadvantaged communities by funding small businesses, partnering with individuals experiencing poverty to access healthcare and education, and other initiatives. In addition, it highlights the challenges associated with waqf implementation, including issues with donor administration, a lack of transparency, and inefficiency. Additionally, the study examines the broader economic and social aspects of waqf, including its potential to generate revenue and promote communal development. Research reveals substantial barriers to the effectiveness of waqf, including bureaucratic delays and underfunding, despite its potential role in social welfare. Therefore, the results highlight the importance of waqf-based programs requiring improved accountability, governance, and sustainability. Despite waqf's potential to alleviate poverty and strengthen communities, the research finds that these obstacles must be removed before the solution can have any lasting effect
