Perbedaan Kemampuan Penalaran Matematis Siswa Menggunakan Model Pembelajaran Discovery Learning dan Model Pembelajaran Konvensional pada Tingkat SMP
Get PDFThis research aims: (1) students' mathematical reasoning ability using the Discovery Learning learning model is higher than students' mathematical reasoning ability using conventional learning models in class VII MTs Yaspi Labuhan Deli, (2) the process of solving answers made by students in solving problems in the Discovery Learning learning model and Conventional learning model. This type of research is quantitative research with Quasi-Experimental methods. This research was conducted at MTs Yaspi Labuhan Deli. The sampling technique in this study uses Purposive Sampling techniques, namely class VII-A as a class taught with a Discovery Learning learning model and class VII-B as a class taught with a conventional learning model. The data collection instrument used was in the form of observation sheets and student mathematical reasoning ability test sheets in the form of 3 essay questions. Data analysis in this study used t-Test with Independent Sample t-Test technique with the help of SPSS 20 program. The results of this study showed that the average score of classes taught using the discovery learning model was 78,01 and classes taught using conventional learning models were 72,22. For hypothesis testing carried out using a t-test, from the calculation results obtained a value of (2.664) > (1.66757) with a Sig.2-tailed level of 0.010 < 0.05, which means that rejected and was accepted, so that it is concluded that there is a significant difference in the average mathematical reasoning ability of students using the Discovery Learning learning model and the Conventional learning model. Based on the analysis of the process of completing students' answers to the mathematical reasoning ability test that get Discovery Learning learning is better than students who get conventional learning

Get PDFSpinal anesthesia is the choice for Transurethral Resection of Prostate (TURP) procedures. TURP is a surgical procedure performed for patients with prostatic hyperplasia. When a TURP procedure is performed, excessive fluid absorption will occur because during the procedure the injured area causes the vein to open and irrigation fluid will be absorbed. The position of the surgical procedure in the lithotomy position makes the situation worse. Spinal anesthesia helps peripheral blood collection and reduces circulatory overload, early detection of TURP syndrome and bladder perforation. In this case, the procedure was carried out on a 67 year old man with a diagnosis of benign prostate hyperplasia (BPH) with a TURP surgical procedure. The patient was composmentis, ASA III. The patient underwent spinal anesthesia with a sub arachnoid block using Bupivacaine. During TURP procedures, TURP syndrome can occur which is influenced by the use of fluid as irrigation to widen the operator's field of view. Deixis is a part of pragmatics that discusses the expressions or context in a sentence. This research aims to analyze various types of deixis contained in the 'Time Management' video on the Satu Persen YouTube channel. This research was carried out using a qualitative approach, namely a method as a research procedure that produces descriptive data. The research techniques used to produce data are observation techniques, note-taking techniques, writing techniques, and listening techniques. In the analysis of deixis in a series of videos contained in the 'Time Management' playlist via the One Percent YouTube channel that we studied, five types of deixis can be found, namely persona deixis (first person singular, first person plural, second person singular, second person plural, third person singular), place deixis, time deixis (past, present, future), discourse deixis (anaphora, cataphora), and social deixis. Each type of deixis has its own function depending on its context. This research will be interesting for readers who have difficulty managing time

Get PDFThe SIAP application (Presence Activation Information System) has been implemented at the Personnel and Human Resources Development Agency since 2022. Although good attendance has been the first step, it also requires optimal bureaucratic performance as an effort to achieve institutional goals. The purpose of this study is to evaluate whether the use of the SIAP Application (Presence Activation Information System) has an influence on employee performance at the Personnel and Human Resources Development Agency (BKPSDM). This study used quantitative methods and involved the entire population, namely 38 employees of the Civil Service and Human Resources Development Agency. Data collection was carried out through distributing questionnaires to all BKPSDM employees as respondents, documentation and observation. The results of the analysis using the T test show that the significant value (0.002) is smaller than the probability of 0.05. Therefore, it can be concluded that the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted, which means "The use of the SIAP application has an influence on employee performance (Y)." Although the SIAP Application Usage Variable (X) and the Employee Performance Variable (Y) are related, respondents' responses show some shortcomings related to the use of the SIAP Application (Presence Activation Information System), such as unstable network access constraints. Nevertheless, good attendance still has a positive effect on improving employee performance. This service activity will provide benefits to various parties, including the community, community service participants and the government. The targets for this service activity are Maura El-Mumtaz Elementary School students in the Tanah Seribu sub-district, Binjai City. Based on the results of community service activities that have been carried out, it can be seen that students can make seats from ecobricks. It is hoped that students will be able to express many more ideas for making ecobricks, not only making them in the form of chairs but also in other shapes. Get PDFWHO (World Health Organization) data show that AKI in developing countries is about 20 percent related to gestational hypertension due to lack of rest patterns and a good diet. Hypertension in pregnancy becomes the second category of causes of maternal death. The purpose of the devotion is to increase the knowledge of pregnant women about a healthy diet to prevent hypertension in pregnancy. The lecture method was used in this service by means of delivering material directly to pregnant women in RW 06 Sirnagalih Village, sampling with saturated sampling of 25 respondents. The results obtained a T value of -9,798.and p value = 0.000 (α < 0.05), which means that there is an educational influence of the pregnant woman's diet to prevent hypertension. Results obtained from the pretest and post test that there was an increase in participants' understanding of the pre test score of 1.08 and the post test score of 1.88. The conclusion is that it can improve the knowledge of pregnant women about diet to prevent hypetence in pregnancy in RW 06 Sirnagalih Village
