The data collection techniques used are interview techniques, object-related observation techniques and documentation techniques. Inovasi Industri 5.0 dalam Mentransformasi Warisan Kuliner Tradisional: Analisis Implementasi pada Bisnis Kuliner di Medan
Get PDFThe traditional food and beverage industry in Medan, Indonesia, is undergoing significant changes as Industry 5.0 technology becomes more integrated. This research explores the impact of this transformation through data analysis from 143 traditional culinary businesses. The focus is on evaluating the extent to which Industry 5.0 has been adopted, identifying factors that drive or hinder its adoption, and analyzing how this affects business operations and customer experiences. We utilized Structural Equation Modeling with Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) to examine the relationship between business characteristics, workforce readiness, Industry 5.0 adoption, and its implications for operational and customer experiences. We used descriptive statistics to understand demographic and technological profiles, while measurement model evaluation demonstrated the validity and reliability of our survey. Path analysis and bootstrap analysis were employed to confirm relationships, while fit model evaluation, R², and Q² provided insights into overall model robustness. Our findings contribute to academic knowledge, provide guidance for business owners in making strategic decisions, and establish standards for future research on Industry 5.0 adoption in the traditional sector

This study aimed to determine the antibacterial effect of the Arcangelisia flava Merr extract against Escherichia coli. This study used two concentration of 25% and 50%, Ciprofloxacin as a positive control and water for injection as a negative control. The existence of the effect of the Arcangelisia flava Merr. extract against bacteria Escherichia coli is characterized by the formation of inhibition zone at a concentration of 25% obtained by the mean 2,005 mm, concentration of 50% obtained by the mean 2,435 mm, positive control obtained mean 7,975 mm, while for the negative control has no effect on Escherichia coli. The results showed that the Arcangelisia flava Merr. can significantly inhibit the growth of Escherichia coli bacteria. And there was the tendency of an increase in the concentration of Arcangelisia flava Merr. The higher concentration of Arcangelisia flava Merr. Extract the higher the resulting inhibit zone

Get PDFThe problem of adolescent nutritional status is related to meeting nutritional needs. Because adolescence occurs physical growth and body development. The imbalance in nutritional intake depends on the preference factor, level of satisfaction with food choices, which will influence the amount of energy intake consumed in adolescents. The aim is to determine the relationship between dormitory food preferences and energy intake with the nutritional status of boys at the RK Serdang Murni Private School Dormitory. This research was conducted in the RK Serdang Murni private school dormitory, Lubuk Pakam District, Deli Serdang Regency. The main research period was carried out in April 2023. The type of research was a quantitative observational approach using a cross sectional design. The population is all young men at the RK Serdang Murni private boarding school and a sample of the entire population of young men. From the research results, based on the nutritional status of young men, the nutritional status was 10.5% less, the status good was 76.3%, the status was over 10.5%, and the obesity status was 2.6%. Based on food preferences, namely the neutral category 28.9%, the like category 60.5%, and the very like category 10.5%, while the energy intake categories namely low energy intake 23.7%, moderate energy intake 57.9%, and good energy intake 18.4%. From the results of the Chi Square test, there was a relationship between young men's food preferences and nutritional status in the RK Serdang Murni private school dormitory with a value of p = 0.002 and there was a relationship between energy intake and nutritional status in the RK Serdang Murni private school dormitory with a value of p = 0.004

Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Think Talk Write Untuk Meningkatkan Komunikasi Matematis Siswa MAN 1 Medan
Get PDFThis research aims to enhance the mathematical communication skills of students after implementing the Think Talk Write cooperative learning model. The study was conducted in the first semester of the 2023/2024 academic year in class XI MIA 3 at MAN 1 Medan. The subjects of this research were 39 students from class XI MIA 3 MAN 1 Medan. The object of this research was the mathematical communication skills of students by applying the Think Talk Write learning model. The research method used was classroom action research conducted over 2 cycles. The results of the students' mathematical communication skills test showed improvement from the initial test to the tests given in Cycle I and Cycle II. In the initial test, only 1 student (2.5%) achieved proficiency with an average score of 56, categorized as low. In Cycle I, there was a classical increase, with 10 students (25.6%) achieving proficiency with an average score of 67.9, categorized as moderate. In Cycle II, there was also a classical increase, with 33 students (84.6%) achieving proficiency with an average score of 86.9, categorized as high. It can be concluded that by implementing the Think Talk Write cooperative learning model, it is possible to improve the mathematical communication skills of class XI MIA 3 students at MAN 1 Medan
