Get PDFAir pollution is not an unfamiliar phenomenon for areas surrounding industries. The Cikoneng area has a wok industry center where the production process produces air pollution fumes. The wok industry center is adjacent to residential houses so that the factory smoke produced has an impact on the health of the surrounding community. Therefore, the targets of counseling are community leaders, health cadres, youth organizations, and residents who live around the industrial area. The purpose of this empowerment activity is to increase community knowledge, awareness, and creativity towards planting Sansevieria plants with the kokedama technique to maintain environmental health around the wok industry. The material was given using the lecture method with the help of power point media and leaflets. While the practice of planting Sansevieria with kokedama technique uses lecture and simulation methods. The Wilcoxon test was used to measure the level of knowledge of participants from the pre-test and post-test results which could show a difference in results before and after providing material with asymp. Sig (2-tailed) of 0.002, it can be concluded that there is an increase in knowledge in participants who take part in counseling activities. It is hoped that the people of Jetak Hamlet can minimize air pollution generated from the wok industry process by planting Sansevieria plants

Get PDFJunk food is food that is easily found in urban areas. The practical urban lifestyle allows someone to prefer junk food. Lack of nutritional knowledge influences the habit of consuming food without paying attention to its nutritional content just because it tastes good. This can affect nutritional status. This research aims to: (1) determine the relationship between nutritional knowledge and nutritional status in class XI students at Ketintang Vocational School, Surabaya. (2) determine the relationship between junk food consumption habits and nutritional status in class XI students at Ketintang Vocational School, Surabaya. This research is an analytical observational study with a cross sectional design. The research location was carried out at Ketintang Vocational School, Surabaya, with 91 class XI student respondents taken using a simple random sampling technique. Data collection was carried out by filling out a questionnaire. Questionnaires were used to obtain data on respondents' identities, level of nutritional knowledge and food frequency questionnaires to determine respondents' junk food consumption habits. To determine the nutritional status of respondents, the BMI/U index is obtained by weighing their body weight and measuring their height directly. The research instrument was adopted from previous research and has been validated by expert lecturers in the field. The data analysis technique used is the chi square test.The results of the research show: (1) the results of statistical tests on nutritional knowledge with the nutritional status of students, namely sig 0.394 > 0.05, which indicates there is no significant relationship between the two variables, (2) the results of statistical tests on junk food consumption habits with nutritional status sig 0.001 < 0.05 which indicates a significant relationship between the two variables. Based on this, it can be concluded that there is no relationship between nutritional knowledge and students' nutritional status, but there is a relationship between junk food consumption habits and nutritional status in class XI students at Ketintang Vocational School, Surabaya

Get PDFTulungagung Regency was chosen to implement the YESS program because the majority of its people rely on the agricultural sector as their main livelihood and raising livestock as a side business. Geographically, the location of the Tulungagung Regency area is also quite strategic with abundant natural resources, thus supporting it as a target for implementing the Program. This research was carried out for 1 month from March 10 2023 to April 15 2023. In this research primary data and secondary data were obtained. Primary data was obtained from interviews and observations of 7 breeders who received benefits from competitive grants from the YESS Program in 2022, goat breeders as key informants in Gondang District, Tulungagung Regency and Expert Informants who came from YESS Program implementers from the Tulungagung Agriculture Service and program facilitators. Secondary data was obtained from literature. From the research, the results showed that the YESS program was considered successful in improving livestock farmers' skills, facilitating market access, increasing access to financing and activating institutional policies and media for youth involvement in rural areas. The suggestion for this research is that it is necessary to carry out further analysis regarding the obstacles that occur in implementing the YESS program

Therefore, in providing health services for the community, health service providers must always maintain the quality of services provided. The purpose to be achieved in this study is to analyze the factors that affect the quality of health services on patient satisfaction of the General Polyclinic at Bethesda Gunungsitoli General Hospital. This type of research uses a descriptive analytical survey with a cross sectional design. The population in this study was all patients who came for outpatient treatment at the General Polyclinic at Bethesda General Hospital Gunungsitoli approximately 2235 visits to take smpel using the Accidental sampling method.While the sample amounted to 100 people. Data analysis was carried out by univariate, bivariate and multivariate analysis. Based on the results of the chi-square test, it is known that the incidence of hypotension affects Tangible, Responsiveness, Reliability, Assurance and Empahaty p = 0.000, meaning that there is Tangible, Responsiveness, Reliability, Assurance and Empahaty to patient satisfaction. From the results of multivariate analysis, it is known that the most influential variable in this study is the Responsiveness variable with an OR value of 15,104. The conclusion in this study is that responsiveness is the dominant factor affecting patient satisfaction at the General Polyclinic at Bethesda General Hospital Gunungsitoli. To be able to improve the quality of services that must be improved, especially security and comfort guarantees for patients such as: completing patient administration, responding quickly to patient complaints, providing drugs quickly and precisely, providing information and quick response in handling patients to be improved to create a patient satisfaction that becomes patient satisfaction at the General Polyclinic at Bethesda General Hospital Gunungsitoli.

OSCE requires students to demonstrate clinical skills, medical knowledge, and communication skills in realistic simulated situations. This makes the stress level in adolescence higher based on one of the factors that can reduce stress and improve students' well-being is self-compassion. This research is a quantitative research with a correlational descriptive design with a cross sectional approach. Results: Low category Self-Compassion means the lower the Self-Compassion, the higher the stress level and respondents with Stress Levels are in the medium stress category. And in the severe stress category. And the Pvalue is .002, so there is a significant relationship between self-compassion and stress levels in final year nursing students at Logos Health Vocational School in 2023. Conclusion: There is a relationship between self-compassion and stress levels in facing the OSCE among final year nursing students in Logos Health Vocational School in 2023
Stimulating The Reading Proficiency Of 10th Grade Students Through The Application Of Wordwall In Recount Text
Get PDFThe study aims to evaluate the efficacy of the Wordwall application in stimulating reading skills among tenth-grade students at X-10 in SMA 1 Sutojayan. It employs a pre-experimental design with a one-group pre-test and post-test methodology, following a quantitative research framework. The process includes three stages: 1) pre-test, 2) treatment, and 3) post-test. To ensure data reliability, tests were piloted on students with similar proficiency levels. Data collection involved administering tests, and statistical analysis. Results showed a significant improvement in student reading achievement, with scores increasing from 77.24 to 86.24 after implementing the Wordwall application for recount text instruction. The paired sample t-test showed the distinction (p = 0.000), underscoring the Wordwall application's effectiveness in enhancing recount text reading achievement among tenth-grade students at X-10 in SMA Negeri 1 Sutojayan Blitar
The Suitability Of The Educandy Studio App To Improve Students'senior High School Grammar Achievement
Get PDFThe study aimed to evaluate how effectively the Educandy Studio Application works to improve grammatical knowledge of senior high school students, particularly focusing on the simple past tense within the context of Narrative Text. Employing a pre-experimental one-group pre-test and post-test design, the impact of the application on the grammar achievement of tenth-grade pupils at SMAN 1 Kesamben Blitar in classes X–H was examined. The research procedure consisted of pre-tests, application of the treatment, and post-tests, with data gathered through test administration. A trial test was conducted to ensure validity and reliability. Results revealed a significant enhancement in students' grammar proficiency in narrative text, with scores rising from 71.87 in the pre-test to 81.90 once the Educandy Studio program was put into use. The statistical examination employing paired sampled T-tests verified a substantial variance between the data collected before and after the intervention (Level of significance < 0.05). These results imply that the implementation of Educandy Studio successfully improved grammar attainment within the narrative text at SMAN 1 Kesamben Blitar. The study recommends integrating the Educandy Studio Application into English teaching, encouraging students to explore its use across subjects. Subsequent studies ought to investigate the feedback from students and teachers and conduct comparisons with similar applications to ascertain the most appropriate resources for improving grammar proficiency in English classrooms.
