Formulasi Dan Uji Aktivitas Tabir Surya Sediaan Cream Ekstrak Batang Pohon Pisang Kepok (Musa Paradisiaca L.)
Full text linkThe trunk of the kepok banana tree contains flavonoids that have activity as a sunscreen that can protect the skin from the adverse effects of UV rays. This study aims to formulate and determine the SPF value of the cream preparation of banana kepok tree tree extract (Musa paradisiaca L) which meets the requirements of good physical quality as a sunscreen. The method used is experimental research consisting of making maceration method extracts with 70% ethanol solvent. The resulting extract is formulated with a cream base formula with extract concentrations of 30% and 40%. The study was analyzed using ANOVA test and SPSS software. The results showed that the formulation of sunscreen cream extract of banana kepok tree trunk extract (Musa paradisiaca L) with concentrations of 30% and 40% showed good physical quality with the effectiveness of SPF at concentrations of 30% and 40% was 3.1 and 4.7 in the moderate protection category without any reference or formula. Based on the results of the article's research, it was concluded that the extract of the banana kepok tree trunk (Musa paradisiaca L) which was formulated as a cream has good physical quality as a sunscreen and based on the ANOVA test, one factor showed a difference in concentration affecting the SPF value obtained

Full text linkHospitals are vital health facilities that aim to improve public health by providing high-quality health services. This study aims to evaluate nurses' compliance in using Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in hospitals as an effort to prevent nosocomial infections. Through a literature review of various studies between 2021-2024, it was found that nurse compliance was influenced by knowledge, attitudes and availability of PPE. Good knowledge and positive attitudes towards PPE, as well as adequate accessibility of PPE, have been proven to increase nurse compliance. In addition, demographic characteristics such as age, gender, education, and years of service also influence compliance levels. In conclusion, improving compliance requires a multifactorial approach that includes continuing education, adequate facilities, and close supervision. Implementation of this strategy is important to prevent nosocomial infections and improve the quality of health services in hospitals

Full text linkIn a Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), business actors often do not know exactly how many goods must be produced and sold in order to get maximum profit. To find out the maximum profit and the number of products that must be produced, the simplex method in linear programming can be used. The simplex method is a method to find the optimal solution of a linear programming model with the principle of iteration. There is a tool to solve linear programs quickly, namely Lingo software that can be used to calculate many problems in a fast time. To implement this simplex method, the data taken by researchers is on MSMEs that produce Cold Drinks with the name Cold Ice. That way, the purpose of this study is to find out how much maximum profit is obtained after obtaining the optimum production amount of each product on Cold Ice in the Medan area

Full text linkThis research provides a theoretical examination of the implementation of the Science and Technology Index (SINTA) Information System to enhance the management of scholarly publications at the Research and Community Service Institute (LPPM) of Sebelas Maret University (UNS). SINTA, serving as a platform indexing and presenting information on scholarly publications, is the focal point of this study with the aim of improving the efficiency and effectiveness of scholarly publication management within the academic environment of LPPM UNS.The study commences by offering a theoretical overview of SINTA, encompassing its roles and primary functions in providing information on scholarly publications. Subsequently, the fundamental concepts of scholarly publication management are analyzed in detail, involving processes such as article submission, metadata management, and researcher performance monitoring at the institutional level.The significance of implementing SINTA in enhancing research visibility, real-time monitoring of researcher performance, and facilitating easy information access becomes a primary focus in identifying the benefits of this implementation. Additionally, case studies and examples of successful implementations at LPPM UNS will provide a concrete illustration of how SINTA can be effectively applied in the context of scholarly publication management.However, the study also includes an analysis of challenges and obstacles that may be encountered during the implementation process, including data security, accurate information availability, and integration with other existing information systems within the institution.Through this study, specific recommendations are expected to be generated for LPPM UNS to enhance the implementation of SINTA as a primary tool in scholarly publication management. The conclusions drawn from this study aim to provide deeper insights into the role of the Science and Technology Index Information System in improving the effectiveness and quality of scholarly publications at LPPM UNS

One example of technology that is developing so rapidly is the use of digital applications as a technique for depicting building structures. For example, these digital applications include AutoCAD, Revit and SketchUp design software. This application is a phenomenon that shows technological developments and the current needs of the architecture and construction industry. Depicting building structures using digital applications is the process of creating a digital model of the building to be built. a process of creating building engineering drawings in 3D (three-dimensional) form using computer applications that meet design standards. Digital applications can simplify and speed up the process of designing, implementing and maintaining buildings. Digital applications can also help save costs, time and resources, as well as reduce errors, conflicts and waste.

Full text linkIn the current digital era, Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) need digital tools to facilitate their business processes. Binong Subdistrict, as one of the subdistricts that has many MSMEs, faces challenges in encouraging technology adoption among MSME owners. To overcome this problem, the authors introduce BukuWarung, a digital financial platform, as a practical solution to optimize financial recording. The process involves training and mentoring structured in four steps: outreach, training and mentoring, and evaluation. The results show that MSMEs now better understand the important role of financial management and have successfully adopted BukuWarung for their financial recording needs. In conclusion, socialization and training on the use of the Buku Warung application in Binong Village succeeded in increasing the understanding and skills of MSMEs in utilizing digital technology to support their business
