Bahaya Verbal Abuse terhadap Perkembangan Mental dan Kepercayaan Diri Anak
Full text linkVerbal abuse is a form of social violence that frequently occurs at home and in schools. This type of abuse includes mocking, insults, or degrading words often directed at children. This study aims to understand how verbal abuse impacts children’s mental development and self-confidence. By reviewing various related studies, the findings show that children who frequently experience verbal abuse tend to face mental health issues, such as low self-esteem, anxiety, and even depression. Additionally, they often lack self-confidence, which can affect their ability to interact with others and cope with life’s challenges. In conclusion, verbal abuse has a serious impact on children’s mental development and self-confidence, highlighting the need for preventive measures and support from family and community to create a safe environment that positively supports children’s growth and well-being

Full text linkThe purpose of documenting the findings is to evaluate the extent to which the use of audio-visual media can implement learners' academic performance in Social Studies subjects at the primary school level. This research has been conducted using a qualitative method complemented by a descriptive approach, relying on data obtained from a literature review. Data sources include relevant scientific articles, books and journals that support previous findings and are in line with the main topic of this study. The research shows that the use of audiovisual media has a significant impact on improving students' learning rubric in social studies subjects. Audio-visual media proved effective because it was able to encourage active student involvement through activities such as asking questions, discussing, and responding to the material presented. In this case, it was due to the efficient presentation of the video that was able to keep learners' attention and reduce the risk of boredom. Thus, this engagement contributes to their improved academic performance. The integration of audio-visual media in social studies learning in elementary schools has a major positive impact on students' academic achievement and learning motivation

Full text linkElderly will experience changes in body composition which will affect the Waist to Hip Ratio (WHR) and have an impact on blood pressure. Hypertension is often found in the elderly in Indonesia. The aim of this study was to determine the relationship and differences in WHR and body composition between hypertensive and non-hypertensive elderly. The design used in this research is case control. The population of this study included all elderly people in the Griya Werdha Jambangan Surabaya Regional Technical Implementation Unit (RTIU) with a total sample of 76 elderly people consisting of 38 hypertensive and 38 non-hypertensive. The results of the research were the relationship between getting WHR, fat mass, muscle mass (p = 0,000), bone mass (p = 0,026), and fluid mass (p = 0,049). The results of the study were differences in WHR, fat mass, muscle mass, bone mass (p = 0,000), and fluid mass (p = 0,001). The odds ratio (OR) value shows that elderly people with obesity WHR have a risk of 27,4, more fat mass and muscle mass below normal have a risk of 24,4, bone mass below normal has a risk of 5,8, and less fluid mass has a risk of 5,1 times developing hypertension. Based on these results, it can be concluded that there is a relationship between WHR and body composition and hypertension, and there are differences in WHR and body composition values between hypertensive and non-hypertensive elderly

Full text linkCholesterol sufferers in Indonesia are quite high, reaching 28%. If treated too late, high cholesterol will endanger health, and can even cause death. Risk factors that influence cholesterol levels are age, gender, BMI, and blood pressure. Carrying out screening through routine cholesterol level checks is important for early detection and prevention of heart and blood vessel disease caused by increased cholesterol levels. This research method uses a cross-sectional study research design. The number of samples in this study was 20 respondents. Sampling in this study used a purposive sampling method. Data analysis used the Chi Square test. The results showed that there was no relationship between cholesterol levels and age and gender (p-value=0.343) (p-value=0.391

This community service focuses on assisting the management of tourism fundamentals, emphasizing managerial capacity building, strengthening community involvement, and developing sustainable tourism destination products. This assistance has successfully increased understanding and skills in basic tourism management among stakeholders. The involvement of local communities in tourism-related decision-making has also increased, ensuring active participation and shared responsibility in managing tourism destinations. Furthermore, this mentoring encourages innovation in the development of sustainable and competitive tourism products. Full text linkThe high growth of the cosmetics industry also creates problems in the form of business competition between companies and marketers operating in the cosmetics industry. This creates opportunities for the Indonesian cosmetics industry, with many new products entering the market, resulting in very tight competition. This provides opportunities for the cosmetics industry in Indonesia, so that many new products appear on the market which creates quite tight competition. This research aims to determine the influence of consumer experience and company reputation on consumer satisfaction and consumer loyalty. The research method uses descriptive causality in this study the population studied is those who have used Maybelline at least 2 times in the Kebon jeruk area. The sample in this study amounted to 180 respondents using the structural equation model (SEM) method. Based on the test results, it is known that consumer experience has a positive effect on consumer loyalty and consumer satisfaction has a positive effect on consumer loyalty. Consumer experience and company reputation have no effect on consumer satisfaction. Company reputation has no influence on consumer loyalty.

Full text linkThis study have a purpose analyze the implementation of project-based learning in increased resilience elementary school students' reading skills, particularly in Indonesian language learning for third-grade students. The method used is a literature review, which collects and examines various relevant studies and sources. The results of the review show that project-based learning can provide more interactive and contextual learning experiences for students, leading to increased motivation and interest in reading. Additionally, this method promotes the development of critical thinking skills, creativity, and collaboration among students. By integrating projects into the learning process, students become more actively engaged and have the opportunity to apply their knowledge in real-world situations. Overall, the implementation of project-based learning has proven effective in enhancing third-grade students' reading skills in Indonesian language learning. This study offers practical implications for educators in designing and implementing innovative and effective teaching strategies, and underscores the importance of more active and participatory learning approaches in elementary education
Transformasi Usaha Produksi Perempuan Suku Laut Di Kampung Panglong

Oleh karena itu, perempuan suku laut di Kampung Panglong ikut berpartisipasi dalam perekonomian keluarga mereka. Salah satunya yaitu dengan produksi usaha industri rumah tangga berupa kerupuk ikan dan ikan asin. Dimana kegiatan ini dulunya hanya untuk dikonsumsi pribadi kini bertransformasi menjadi nilai jual. Adapun tujuan penelitian adalah untuk menjelaskan bagaimana transformasi produksi industri rumah tangga perempuan suku laut di Kampung Panglong, Desa Berakit. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif dengan informan sebanyak 4 orang, serta menggunakan teknik dan alat pengumpulan data berupa wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori perubahan sosial oleh Atkinson dan Brooten. Hasil penelitian ini bahwa perempuan suku laut di Kampung Panglong yang memiliki usaha produksi industri rumah tangga mengalami sebuah perubahan keadaan yang berbeda dari keadaan sebelumnya. Dimana kegiatan yang awalnya untuk konsumsi pribadi bertransformasi menjadi bentuk yang berbeda dari bentuk sebelumnya yang memiliki nilai jual yaitu usaha produksi industri rumah tangga. Perempuan suku laut di Kampung Panglong dalam proses pembuatan sudah menggunakan alat canggih yaitu blender dalam proses penghalusan ikan
