The renovation of the musive technique took place in Venice after the middle of the 19th century. The effort to rescue the mosaics of the local church of San Marco led to the revival of the production of mosaic glass and to the foundation of specialised workshops, which worked on the repairs of earlier works as well as on the creation of new compositions. Generations of mosaicists trained in the Venetian milieu and particularly in the enterprise of Antonio Salviati then spread the specialised activity on the boundary of arts and crafts to other European countries. The personage of Luigi Solerti, who settled in the background of the originally glass painting company of Albert Neuhauser in Innsbruck, is particularly important for Bohemia. The company carried out commissions not only on the territory of Austria but also of all other lands of the monarchy. The operation of foreign mosaicists has been addressed only partially so far within Czech history and art theory. The study offers a new view of the domestic situation, casting light for the first time for a Czech reader on many facts concerning the development of European (particularly Italian and Austrian) mosaic art in the second half of the 19th century. The renovation of the musive technique took place in Venice after the middle of the 19th century. Shaping the Danish and Imperial Legation Chapels in Vienna and Copenhagen during the Period after the Thirty Years’ War

    No full text
The following article primarily analyses the operation of the Lutheran Legation Chapel during the long-term residency of the Danish Envoy, Andreas Pauli von Liliencron, in Vienna. The targeted support for the denominational minorities in Vienna and Copenhagen by the legation envoys caused numerous conflicts on both sides. The ways of resolving these disputes eventually become reminders of the extraordinary dynamism of international relations during the second half of the 17th Century. The following article primarily analyses the operation of the Lutheran Legation Chapel during the long-term residency of the Danish Envoy, Andreas Pauli von Liliencron, in Vienna. The Fall of an Imperial Ambassador: Count Georg Adam von Martinitz and His Recall from Rome

    No full text
The paper discusses the changes in the diplomatic relations between Rome and Vienna during the embassy tenure of Count Georg Adam von Martinitz (1696–1700). The series of his conflicts with the Holy See (e.g., the scandal at the Corpus Christi procession, the affairs of the imperial feuds in Italy and finally a poisoning attempt) deteriorated his situation at the Roman Curia. That resulted in his being denied Papal audiences and the recall of Martinitz from Rome. But it should have been anticipated by his relatives in Vienna. Martinitz received another Imperial Court posting, although he was not satisfied with it. Although he inherited most of these conflicts, he was not able to dissolve them; in fact, he made some of them worse. His successor, Count Leopold Joseph von Lamberg, arrived to Rome with the task “to put water on the fire”. But it was not an easy task, especially on the eve of the War of the Spanish Succession. The paper discusses the changes in the diplomatic relations between Rome and Vienna during the embassy tenure of Count Georg Adam von Martinitz (1696–1700). Reformy v železničnej doprave a postupné otváranie železničného sektora začali v EÚ už v 90. rokoch 20. storočia aplikáciou príslušných smerníc a regulačných opatrení. The reforms in the railway transport and the gradual opening up of the rail sector started EU already in the 90s of the 20th century application of the relevant directives and regulatory measures. A fundamental step in the liberalization of rail transport was unbundling of infrastructure from rail transport undertakings and subsequently provide non-discriminatory access to new carrier to the infrastructure in all Member States. The paper is focused on the analysis of the successive steps of the Slovak Government in the promulgation of the first tender for the provision of transport services which are subsidized, and also set the conditions for this competition on a defined line

DETECTING ANOMALOUS SENSOR DATA IN WAYSIDE DIAGNOSTICS USING ENHANCED LBP-KURTOGRAMS

    No full text
This paper examines three different methods in comparison for discovering abnormal sensor data retrieved by acoustic and mono-axial accelerometer sensors that are employed in the environment of different train sets and passes to achieve a cost friendly wayside diagnosis in Prague metros. Proposed methodology, Local Binary Patterns (LBP) on resized Kurtogram images is superior to compared methods up to 75.8% Fisher Linear Discriminant Analysis (FLDA) for anomaly detection in the sensor data. Results may count to be promising even if combined acoustic and vibration sensor data related Kurtograms are used for individual train sets. Proposed method is considered to be the first step in order to achieve an efficient diagnosis framework in wayside vehicle diagnosis

DECOMPOSITION OF THE TOUR USING MATHEMATICAL PROGRAMMING

    No full text
Route-First Cluster-Sedond přístupu. To solve tasks focused on the vertex service of the transport network, it is necessary to pay attention not only to the optimal sequence of vertices with respect to the selected optimization criterion (e.g. the total distance traveled), but also to other limitations that follow from the practical needs. The submitted contribution deals with introducing a decomposition method using mathematical programming based on the Route-First Cluster-Second approach. Firstly, the optimal route of the service vehicle is determined and then it can be decomposed into partial tours taking into account the capacity of the service vehicle. Mathematical models that can be used to implement this approach are presented in the text. The whole decomposition procedure is illustrated by specific examples, too

Witch Trials and Sorcery Processes in Foreign Historiography: New Perspectives and Angles of View

    No full text
The present study is devoted to historiographical foreign production related to the issue of processes with witches and female sorcerers, especially to the development of linguistically German and English research within approximately the last thirty years. The transformation of individual theories and methodological approaches to the topic using other scientific disciplines, such as anthropology, ethnology or psychology is reflected. Also some questions concerning, for example, the role of torture or solving the problem whether the processes can be described as a profitable programme of elites are accentuated here. These questions are subsequently partly answered just through the new results of the international research. The present study is devoted to historiographical foreign production related to the issue of processes with witches and female sorcerers, especially to the development of linguistically German and English research within approximately the last thirty years.
