No full textV príspevku je prezentovaný dimenzionálny výpočet netypizovaného navíjacieho zariadenia pre pracovný stroj. Na zariadení došlo k poškodeniu kvôli jeho preťaženiu nešpecifikovaným zaťažením. Navíjacie zaradenie bolo preto renovované. Ďalej bol vykonaný funkčný výpočet pre stanovenie maximálnych hmotností bremien, ktoré môžu byť dvíhané na tomto zariadení v závisti od použitého prevodového pomeru. Ako záverečný krok pred uvedením navíjacieho zariadenia do opätovnej prevádzky je stanovenie maximálneho možného namáhania, t. j. veľkosť napätí a ich rozloženie v jeho hlavnej nosnej časti – bubna pomocou analytického výpočtu.

This device has been damaged due to overload by the not specified load. Therefore, the winding device has been overhauled. Further the functional calculation was performed due to determination of maximum loads, which can be risen on this device depend on the used gear ratio. The determination of the maximum permissible load, i.e. stress values and stress distribution in the main carrying part – in the drum using analytical calculation is the final step before the winding device recommissioning

No full textPríspevok sa stručne venuje novému spoplatňovaciemu systému úhrad za prístup a používanie železničnej infraštruktúry a servisných zariadení na ŽSR, ktorý nadobudne účinnosť od 1.1.2019 a analyzuje cenové porovnania s platným systémom, ktorý platil v období 1.1.2011 – 31.12.2018. Príspevok sa zameriava na úhrady za minimálny prístupový balík (tzv. traťová časť úhrad) a na úhrady za prístup k vybraným servisným zariadeniam – staniciam osobnej a nákladnej dopravy.The contribution briefly focuses on a new charging system for access to and use of railway infrastructure and service equipment at the ŽSR, which will enter into force on January 1, 2019 and analyzes the price comparisons with the valid system that applied in the period 1.1.2011 - 31.12.2018. The contribution focuses on payments for the minimum access package (so-called track-side payments) and payments for access to selected service facilities - passenger and freight stations
Narrative Unreliability in Paula Hawkins’ The Girl on the Train as a Strategy of Reader Immersion
No full textThis paper considers the narratological phenomenon of unreliable narration in the novel The Girl on the Train by Paula Hawkins, concentrating on mechanisms of reader perception. Starting with a survey of the main contemporary definitions of unreliable narration as well as sources of unreliability, the article moves to the problem of how unreliable narration can influence a reader of the analysed text, discussing ways in which unreliability combines with other aspects of the narrative. The effect of unreliable narration on the reader is examined in terms of recipient immersion. The disclosure of unreliable statments, the search for truth hidden beneath the cover of narration, along with the recuperation of the “reliability” of the narrator are viewed as supplementary objects of the reader’s interest during text perception. Attention is focused on two components of reader gratification as manifest in Hawkins’ novel: intellectual satisfaction due to the solution of the murder mystery (temporal immersion), as well as satisfaction resulting from the protagonist’s psychic recovery and revenge (emotional immersion). The last section of the paper compares the reader’s perception of the novel with the viewer’s reactions to a screen version directed by Tate Taylor. 
History matters (?) Various Ways of Looking at History in Graham Swift’s Waterland
No full textThe paper focuses on how history is dealt with in Waterland, one of Graham Swift’s best-known novels. Even though the novel is not a pamphlet on the philosophy of history, it however explores the many ways in which history is indispensable for people in their endeavors to make sense of their past and their identity. However, Waterland presents different views of history and story-telling, which are often opposite and undermine one another. The paper will discuss how the novel, at times, suggests that tracing and reconstructing the past is a possible and objective activity, while, at other times, seeming to side with the idea that the past cannot be retrieved and that History is but an arbitrary ordering and construction of facts from the past, which are in themselves disorderly and structureless. In this regard, the novel has often been considered as taking part in the postmodernist debate about the truth in History. The article also deals with the contradictory perspective of History explored in Swift’s novel: that of History as a “Grand Narrative” of Progress and the opposite view of History as cyclical and regressive.  
Discussions about the Talmudic Origin of Hevra Kaddisha in the Allgemeine Zeitung des Judenthums, Die Neuzeit and Oesterreichische Wochenschrift
No full textIn the present article, the background of two discussions about the origin of Hevra Kaddisha (Jewish funeral brotherhood), which took place in the pages of the journals Allgemeine Zeitung des Judenthums, Die Neuzeit and Oesterreichische Wochenschrift in 1888–1889 and 1891–1893, is revealed. These discourses show that the efforts of the authors, trying to prove the Talmudic origin of this organization, were not only based on the conclusions of their research activity. Therefore, the study tries to find out the reasons and motivations of this claim. Primarily, it comes from the analysis of both discussions, the causes of their origin and their impact on further scientific research on Hevra Kaddisha. To put both of these discussions in a wider context and to uncover the motivations of particular authors, the paper presents the character of all three journals as well as the biographies of the individual authors and their relation to the then philological research concerning the topic of Hevra Kaddisha. POSSIBILITIES FOR ASSESSING THE QUALITY OF INLAND WATERWAYS
No full textBezpečnosť vnútrozemskej vodnej dopravy predstavuje komplex vzájomne prepojených systémov riadenia plavby a prevádzky vodných ciest. Sledovanie a hodnotenie kvality vodných ciest je závislé predovšetkým od množstva plavebných nehôd a obmedzení, ktoré bránia plynulému dopravnému procesu. Nárast plavebných výkonov má priamy vplyv na zvýšenie rizika vzniku plavebných nehôd. Sledovanie a hodnotenie kvality vnútrozemských vodných ciest je jedným z nástrojom ako reagovať na zmeny v dopravných výkonoch, ako aj impulzom k prijatiu nevyhnutných bezpečnostných opatrení.The safety of inland waterway transport is a complex of interconnected navigation and waterway management systems. Tracking and assessing the quality of waterways depends, in particular, on the amount of shipping accidents and limitations that hinder the smooth transport process. The increase in navigation volumes has a direct effect on increasing the risk of navigation accidents. Tracking and assessing the quality of inland waterways is one of the tools to respond to changes in transport performance as well as an impulse to take the necessary safety measures
AIR TRAFFIC FLOW MANAGEMENT – ATFM
No full textATFM - Uspořádání toku letového provozu je organizovaná služba, která je součástí služeb v rámci Air Traffic Management (ATM). Tato služba je poskytována letadlům a leteckým společnostem v zájmu zajištění řízeného, bezpečného, ekonomického a pravidelného letového provozu. Do procesu řízení letů vstupují nejrůznější faktory, ať se již jedná o vlivy očekávané nebo nahodilé. S těmito vlivy, zejména negativními, které působí na leteckou dopravu, se musí počítat. Proto vnímáme ATFM jako nástroj ke snižování účinku těchto vlivů, případně k jejich maximální eliminaci. Uspořádání toku letového provozu ATFM si můžeme představit jako koordinovanou činnost jednotlivců nebo provozních složek, zapojených do procesu letecké dopravy s cílem optimalizovat proces řízení letů. Výstupem z této činnosti je zajištění plynulého a bezpečného letového provozu.ATFM - Air Traffic Flow Management is an organized service as a part of Air Traffic Management (ATM). ATFM is provided for aircrafts and air carriers to ensure controlled safe economic and regular flight operation. There are many factors either expected or accidental which have influence to ATFM. We have to take into account all these factors especially negative ones. Therefore we perceive the ATFM as a tool to reduce the effect of these influences even to their maximum elimination. ATFM - Air Traffic Flow Management we can imagine as the coordinated activities of individuals or operational segments involved in the process of air traffic in order to optimize the process of Flight Management. The output of these activities is to ensure a safe, economy and smooth air traffic
DESIGN EXAMPLE OF STORAGE SYSTEM USING THE LOGISTICS PRINCIPLES
No full textV príspevku je uvedený príklad navrhovanie skladovacieho systému s využitím princípov logistiky - systémový prístup, koordinácia, plánovitosť, algoritmické myslenie a globálna optimalizácia. Skladovanie v tomto prípade chápeme ako podsystém logistického systému a zároveň ako proces. Proces navrhovania skladovacieho systému je aplikáciou procesu navrhovania logistických systémov, ktoré je tvorene fázami: identifikácia projektu, voľba paradigmy procesu navrhovania, analýza systému, syntéza logistického systému a hodnotenie projektu. Tieto kroky sú modifikované pre návrh skladovacieho systému. Príklad navrhovania skladovacieho systému je vyjadrený v podobe vývojového diagramu. Prezentovaný postup navrhovania a vývojový diagram je možné ďalej dotvárať a dopĺňať v závislosti od problémov, ktoré môžu byť identifikované v rámci procesu navrhovania.The paper presents an example of design a storage system using the logistics principles - system approach, coordination, planning, algorithmic thinking and global optimization. In this case, storage is understood as a subsystem of the logistics system and too as a process. The design process of storage system is the application of design logistics systems. This process consists of several phases: project identification, design process paradigm selection, system analysis, logistics synthesis and project evaluation. These steps are modified for the design of the storage system. The example of a storage system design is expressed as a flowchart. The presented design process and flowchart can be further refined and supplemented depending on the problems, which can be identified in the design process
