    Application of trait and factor theory for career planning in Class XII transitional students at Islamic Senior High School, Karimun

    Career is an important thing in human life. This is because there is an urge to improve in life. One alternative solution to help someone who has difficulty making career decisions is through the application of trait and factor theory. Trait and factor theory is a career counseling theory that views the right career choice when there is a match between the client's nature and job or position factors. This research is a descriptive qualitative research. The research was conducted at MAN Karimun. The research informants were 1 counseling teacher and 3 transitional class XII students. This study aims to examine in depth the application of trait and factor theory in the career planning of class XII students in the transition period at MAN Karimun. The results of the study show that the application of trait and factor career counseling theory can be an alternative solution to assist clients in planning and making career decisions

    Analysis of user satisfaction graduate in education for Islamic elementary school teachers program UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta

    The aims of this research are 1) to find out the satisfaction of users of Education for Islamic Elementary School Teachers Programme (EIESTP) UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta graduates, and 2) to know the analysis of the needs of graduate users to face the transformation of 21st Century Education. The population of this research is users of graduates from EIESTP UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta alumni/graduates in 2019, 2020, and 2021. The number of samples is determined by the Slavin formula. Based on the calculation results, the number of samples is 152 graduate users. Data collection instruments are closed questionnaires and documentation. The response results from graduate users are then analyzed using the Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) method. The research findings show that 1) Satisfaction of users of EIESTP UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta graduates with the CSI method was obtained at 94.96% in the very satisfied category, and 2) EIESTP Study Program UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta needs to make improvements and increase expertise in the fields of knowledge, collaboration, and integrity ability of its graduates

    Analysis of students' generic science skills at Muhammadiyah 22 Surakarta Elementary School.

    Science learning in elementary schools is expected to provide students with an understanding of scientific terms through experiments that can provide generic science skills. But this is still rarely done at the elementary school level. This study aims to analyze the science generic skills of elementary school students as an effort by the teacher to create learning that is able to make students understand and remember scientific terms. This study is qualitative approach. Sources of data in this study were obtained from class teachers and fifth grade students at Elementary School Muhammadiyah 22 Surakarta. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews and documentation. Test the validity of the data using the credibility test and source triangulation. Data analysis techniques consist of data collection, data presentation, drawing conclusions, and verification. The results showed that students' generic science skills in science learning obtained a percentage of 75%. The highest score is in the aspect of symbolic language (25%) shown by the activities of students mentioning symbols, symbols and scientific terms in presentations related to the water cycle process. The lowest score 0% absence of student activities. The research contribution is teachers must teach science through experimental activities of measuring rainfall, or similar experiments that are adapted to the topic of the material so that aspects of generic science skills can be developed in a more balanced way in each aspect so as to be able to provide more comprehensive science skills and knowledge in learners

    Exploring the Efficacy of Inquiry-Based Learning for Human Respiratory System: Students' Achievement at High School Setting

    The current research has primary objective that is to assess the effect of implementing the Inquiry-Based Learning Model in enhancing students' academic performance in the field of Science at SMA Smart Indonesia. The Inquiry-Based Learning Model promotes proactive student engagement in exploring, gathering, and interpreting information through independent investigation. The study utilized a quasi-experimental design encompassing pre-test and post-test phases. The participants were selected randomly via a simple random sampling technique. The acquired data underwent analysis using the N-Gain method (T-test). The outcomes revealed a noticeable improvement in the academic performance of students in the experimental group who were exposed to the Inquiry-Based Learning Model, particularly in the context of the human respiratory system. Furthermore, the null hypothesis (H0) was invalidated, as was proven by the 2-tailed Significance value of 0.000 that was smaller than 0.05. This discovery underscores the substantial positive impact of applying the Inquiry-Based Learning Model on enhancing students' academic achievements when compared to conventional teaching methods employed in the control group. In conclusion, this study highlights the significant potential of integrating the Inquiry-Based Learning Model into the Natural Science curriculum at the secondary school level, which could potentially elevate the standard of education and overall student learning accomplishments

    IMPROVING EARLY CHILDREN'S SOCIAL COGNITIVE ABILITY THROUGH ART LEARNING IN TERNATE, NORTH MALUKU

    This study aims to improve the social cognitive abilities developed by Bandura through art learning in early childhood. The research method uses action research developed by Lewin. Data collection techniques using observation sheets or observations. Data analysis techniques using t-test. The research sample of students was 30 children in group B. Cognitive abilities were not only developed by Piaget and Vygotsky, but also by Bandura. The cognitive theory developed by Bandura is known as social cognitive because it emphasizes more on the process of modeling and imitating to acquire knowledge. Early childhood cognitive development can be done through various methods and techniques as well as learning materials and resources. Art ability is developed in every curriculum in early childhood. The results showed that the end of the cycle obtained data t-count 3.98> t-table 1.697 at a significance level of 0.05. Thus it can be concluded that social cognitive abilities through art learning are effectively used. It is suggested, to improve social cognitive abilities can be done through art learning.  &nbsp

    AN ANALYTICAL STUDY OF CHANGES IN THE LEARNING PARADIGM FROM INSTRUCTIONAL INTERACTIONS TO PEDAGOGICAL INTERACTIONS

    Interactions between students and teachers are a role in the learning process. Learning interaction is both a social contact activity and a teaching and learning process. In addition to instructional interactions, learning interactions can also occur in the form of pedagogical interactions. Using a qualitative approach, this study is library-based research. Various literature on educational theory were reviewed for material. Using content analysis and comparison techniques, the data were then studied to identify fundamental developments in educational thought. According to the findings of this study, successful learning consistently pursues and executes the process of transferring both information and value. In addition to procedural and intellectual partnerships, the learning process includes emotional relationships that encompass affection, mutual regard, and respect. Additionally, learning must be founded on an equitable connection between teachers and students within the context of educational values. The engagement of mental dimensions enables a learning process that is not just intellectually oriented, but also emotionally and spiritually oriented.   &nbsp

    The Role of the teacher in developing students' character at MI Muhammadiyah 2 Karangrejo Gresik

    The study aims to analyze the influence of teachers on character building in their students. As well as exploring orientation in the process of building the character of students at MI Muhammadiyah 2 karangrejo. The study used qualitative research design, and the findings show that teachers play an important role in character building to be inspirers and facilitators for their learners. This study identifies several character values instilled in students, including religious, discipline, empathy, diligent, honest, independent, conscientious, responsible, creative, fond of reading, curiosity, peace-loving, tolerance, nationalism, social responsibility, environmental care, love for the motherland. , integrity, and nationalism. The formation of these values is also supported by various factors, such as through school culture with refraction activities, through extracurricular activities, through classroom habituation, and teacher habit activities in opening and closing learning. However, there are also inhibiting factors, such as students who are still affected by negative things from the surrounding environment and also from factors that are not constructive in the community

    ABSTRACT Islamic religious education is a beacon for the muslim community Received :who is being overwhelmed by darkness about their religion and leads them to become a muslim society that is in accordance with the theachings of Islam. However, this has not yet become a reality because there are still many muslim communities who have not received islamic religious education, therefor the MUI has a very important role in providing islamic religious education for the community. This study aims to find out how the roles, programs and obstacles felt by the Asahan Regency MUI in an effort to improve Islamic religious education for people in Asahan district. This study uses qualitative research with descriptive analysis methods with the stages of data collection, data reduction, data display dan drawing conclusions then described in writing. The data collection techniques used in this study were observation, interviews, literature studies and Focus Group Discussions. This research focused on : what is the role of the MUI in improving islamic religious education for the people in Asahan district; what is MUI’s program in improving islamic religious education for people in Asahan district and what are MUI’s obstacles in improving islamic religious education for people in Asahan district. The results of this study indicate that MUI has a very important role in improving Islamic religious education for the people Asahan district trough programs implemented such as regeneration of preachers, routine mitings, routine studies, and deployment of koran teachers to remote areas

    STUDENTS’ PERCEPTION OF DIGITAL STORYTELLING TO IMPROVE SPEAKING SKILL AT AN INDONESIAN ISLAMIC HIGHER EDUCATION

    Digital storytelling is a method that combines the art of storytelling with digital media in various forms such as videos, images, text, and so on. Digital storytelling integrates technology into the classroom to facilitate the learning process. Especially in English language learning, this method supports the improvement of students' English language skills. This study aims to identify students' perceptions of digital storytelling to improve students' speaking skills at an Indonesian Islamic college. This mixed-method study involved 30 second-semester students at Datokarama State Islamic University in Palu. Quantitative data using questionnaires were analysed based on percentages while qualitative data in the form of interviews were analysed with three stages, namely, data reduction, display, and verification. Five aspects of perception are of concern in this study, namely attitude, motivation, interest, experience, and expectations. The research results from the five aspects prove that students have a positive perception of the use of digital storytelling in improving their speaking skills. Digital storytelling makes it easier for students to understand the material well, gives them confidence in interacting and cooperating in the classroom, and creates a fun learning process

    Development of Interactive Learning Media Assisted by Lectora Inspire Application in Science Subjects Class IV SDN Baru 03 Pagi

    Researchers and developers are hard at work on new learning media, one of which is the Lectora Inspire application media, to counteract student indifference in homework and a rising lack of incentive to learn. The study technique is based on the 4D development paradigm (Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate). The study's goal is to determine whether the media developed can be used and to collect data on how students react to the media. The goal of this study was to assess the performance of lecturers and professors serving as media and material validators, as well as students serving as respondents. Material experts validate 92.78% of the time, while media experts validate 91.78% of the time; expert teachers on average 85.00%; and students with an average of 89.52%. With the help of the Lectora Inspire software, it is clear that the potential for interactive learning media is enormous as a teaching tool
