RELIGIOUS EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITIES OF MUSHOLA LOVER STUDENTS IN IMPROVING LEARNING OUTCOMES IN ISLAMIC RELIGIOUS EDUCATION
Learning at school is generally given in two forms, namely intracurricular and extracurricular. These two factors can influence student learning outcomes. This research aims to find out how extracurricular activities in the form of Musholla-loving students at school have a positive effect on students' learning outcomes. This research is qualitative and uses SMAN 1 Parigi as the research location. The research sources were five people, consisting of supervisors, two of Musholla lovers students, and teachers. The results of this research found that the extra-curricular activities carried out through the Musholla loving students at SMAN 1 Parigi were divided into four forms of activities: a. daily activities, such as congregational midday prayers, kultum after midday prayers, and cleaning the prayer room; b. weekly activities, such as morning dhikr and yasinan, which are held on Fridays. This activity was followed by a cult c. monthly activities, such as ta'lim and mabit. Mabit activities are marked by staying overnight at school, which contains activities studying the Koran and Hadith, collective dhikr, and evening prayers; d. annual activities, which are divided into spiritual and social activities, such as celebrating Islamic holidays, Islamic boarding school, sharing iftar, and breaking the fast together, as well as social service. Another finding in this research is that students who actively participate in extracurricular activities can fulfill learning objectives as well, especially in semester exams and other formative exams. This shows that extracurricular activities at school can strengthen and improve student learning outcomes, as well as strengthen their social and religious behavior
Improving the Computational Thinking Abilities of Junior High School Students Through Problem-Based Learning
This study aims to improve the Computational Thinking (CT) abilities of seventh-grade students at SMPN 37 Surabaya, based on initial findings indicating that most students in this class exhibit low CT abilities. Efforts to improve CT abilities were made through implementing the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model, which is effective in facilitating problem-solving skills. The research method used was Classroom Action Research (CAR) with a spiral approach by Stephen Kemmis and Robin McTaggart, conducted over multiple cycles to monitor the gradual development of students' CT abilities. Data were collected through post-tests at the end of each cycle to evaluate improvements in students' CT abilities. Data analysis was conducted using a CT assessment rubric, categorizing students based on CT skills and foundations. The data analysis results indicated an increase in CT scores across each research cycle. In Cycle I, there was an increase of 0.2 in CT scores, with a completion rate of and an average CT score of . In Cycle II, the CT score improvement reached , with a completion rate of and an average CT score of . These findings demonstrate that the implementation of the PBL model significantly improves students' CT abilities. The progression from low to medium and high skill categories by the end of Cycle II highlights the effectiveness of PBL in developing students' CT abilities, making this model relevant for improving critical and systematic thinking skills among students
The Padlet Media Design Based on Bima Local Literature to Improve Student Writing Skills
This research aims to improve students' writing skills through the use of Padlet media which is integrated with local wisdom of Bima regional literature. The background of this research is based on the low writing ability of students caused by monotonous traditional learning methods and the lack of use of interactive media. This research uses the Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) development model. Local literature, such as folklore and poetry, is integrated into Padlet's platform as teaching materials to provide relevant cultural context for students. The participants in this study are 30 students of the Indonesian Language and Literature Education Study Program at STKIP Harapan Bima. The results of the study showed a significant improvement in students' writing skills after the use of Padlet based on local wisdom. The average writing score of students increased by 25%, especially in the aspects of cohesion, coherence, and idea development. In addition, students also reported increased motivation and active involvement in writing learning through Padlet's collaborative features, such as writing sharing and feedback. However, there are several technical obstacles faced, such as limited internet access and lack of digital literacy among students. The results of this study have implications that the integration of digital technology and local wisdom can be an innovative strategy in improving students' writing skills, as well as fostering their cultural awareness
THE INFLUENCE OF COMPETENCE AND COMPENSATION ON THE PERFORMANCE OF ACADEMIC STAFF EMPLOYEES WITHIN THE FACULTY OF TARBIYAH AND KEGURUAN UIN ALAUDDIN MAKASSAR
This study aims to determine the partial and simultaneous effects of competence and compensation on the performance of academic staff employees within the Faculty of Tarbiyah and Keguruan UIN Alauddin Makassar. The research method used is quantitative research method with data collection techniques through questionnaires. Research data were taken from 52 academic staff employees within the Faculty of Tarbiyah and Keguruan. The results showed that competence had a significant effect on employee performance with a t-count> t-table value of 2.187> 2.0098, and the significance value was 0.034 <0.05. Compensation also has a significant effect with the value of t-count> t-table is 2.217> 1.0098 and the significance value is 0.031 <0.05. Simultaneously competence and compensation have a significant effect with the value of F-count> F-table is 17.814> 3.18 and the significance value is 0.00 <0.05. The contribution of influence or determination of competency and compensation variables to the performance of academic staff employees in the Faculty of Tarbiyah and Keguruan is 42.1%
Optimizing Students’ Higher Order Thinking Skill through Indonesian English Course Platform
As the compulsory subject at the senior high school, English is used for transferring and develop their knowledge, skill, and attitudes in the areas of science, technology, and art. English is crucial for the student in order to help them to understand the oral and written text in detail. Eventually, teachers have to prepare a good strategy to complete the student need of English in the class. Then, the school has HOTS as the strategy for the students. However, students are required to seek additional learning outside of school in order to enhance their learning in school. For this reason, Indonesian English course platform (Ruangguru) becomes the medium to optimize student’ HOTS. This quantitative research discussed 84 students of SMAN 1 Rejang Lebong. In obtaining the data, the eighty-four students of XII grade in academic year 2020/2021 were given a set of questionnaires to get the data whether Ruangguru can optimize students’ HOTS in learning English. The researcher collected the data, then determined the frequency and percentage of the students' responses. According to this study's findings, Indonesian English course platform (Ruangguru) can be a medium to optimize students’ HOTS beside learning English in the classroom. Based on three indicators that is provided by researcher, those are: Analyzing (71.83%), Evaluating (72.26%), and Creating (72.85%). The Influence of Quizizz software in evaluating history learning to assess students' learning motivation at State Senior High Schools 99 Jakarta
Penelitian ini membahas keterkaitan antara pengunaan quizizz sebagai alat evaluasi pembelajaran untuk menilai seberapa tinggi motivasi belajar peserta didik terhadap pembelajaran sejarah di SMA. Teknologi yang telah diciptakan dan berkembang memberikan keuntungan bagi manusia. Bidang pendidikan menjadi salah satu bidang yang terkena dampak teknologi. Dengan adanya teknologi maka pendidikan akan menjadi lebih mudah dijalankan dan menciptakan dalam penerapannya. Pembelajaran sejarah yang menjadi titik fokus penelitian ini dikaitkan dengan penerapan aplikasi quizizz. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dan jenis penelitian ini adalah eksperimen. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data berupa tes berjumlah 15 butir soal. Dari tes inilah nantinya dapat dilihat bahwa para peserta didik memiliki motivasi belajar atau tidak dengan diterapkannya metode quizizz. SMAN 99 Jakarta menjadi tempat dilaksanakannya penelitian ini dengan mengambil sampel dua kelas yang masing-masing berjumlah 34 peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkapkan adanya pengaruh dan perbedaan antara penggunaan quizizz terhadap motivasi belajar peserta didik dalam pembelajaran sejarah.Uji instrumen, uji asumsi dan uji t adalah jenis-jenis pengujian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Hasil dari penelitian ini terbukti bahwa adanya keterkaitan atau pengaruh yang dihasilkan dari penggunaan quizizz terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik karena data hasil uji t mengatakan bahwa sig 0,00 < 0,05 dan t-hitung > ttabel yaitu 4,757 > 2,457. Sehingga dapat dikatakan bahwa quizizz juga berpengaruh terhadap motivasi belajar jika diukur dari hasil belajar peserta didik
LEARNING PSYCHOLOGY COURSE CONTRIBUTION IN PREPARING PROSPECTIVE PROFESSIONAL TEACHERS OF ISLAMIC RELIGIOUS EDUCATION
Abstrak
This qualitative research with a phenomenological approach aims to analyze the role of the PAI learning psychology course in preparing professional teacher candidates for students majoring in PAI, Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training UIN Datokarama Palu, and to describe the lecture strategies used by lecturers for this purpose. Data collection was carried out through in-depth interviews, involved observation, and documentation. To ensure the validity of the data used triangulation of sources and techniques. Data analysis was carried out qualitatively through data collection, reduction, presentation, and analysis stages. The results of the study show that several roles in the PAI learning psychology course play a role in preparing professional teacher candidates, such as: providing awareness of the different characteristics of students, providing a broad understanding of the duties and roles of teachers, and giving students self-confidence. pursue the profession of a teacher. The strategy used in PAI Learning Psychology lectures is to combine interactive lecture methods, discussions, use of infocus media and digital media through video analysis, and presentation of material with PowerPoint. In addition, problem-based learning is also the most frequently used strategy. With this strategy, students not only receive material but are invited intensively to solve problems related to psychological problems in learning.
 
Preventing Disruptive Behavior in Elementary School Students: An Academic Investigation from a Multicultural Islamic Education Lens
The objective of this study is to identify strategies for enhancing the social development of children within inclusive educational settings. The present study employs a qualitative research design and adopts a phenomenological framework. The study was conducted in SD Muhammadiyah 3, Ikrom Wage Sidoarjo, with a sample size of five individuals who were chosen as participants. The data collection process involved the utilisation of in-depth interviews and observation techniques, which were subsequently followed by data reduction and data display procedures. Subsequently, the data underwent analysis by the method of triangulation. The present study yielded the subsequent findings: The term "character" refers to the attributes, traits, and qualities that define an individual's personality and behaviour. It encompasses a The social attributes of pupils at SD Muhammadiyah 3 Ikrom were enhanced, encompassing virtues such as honesty, civility, social responsibility, tolerance, democracy, and justice. The process of enhancing character development is implemented for all students, especially those who possess exceptional requirements. The implementation of multicultural education is accomplished through two primary methods: firstly, by incorporating it into the curriculum across many disciplines taught in the classroom, and secondly, by fostering a school environment that embraces and upholds the principles and values of multicultural education. The process of integrating subjects is facilitated with the active participation of educators who have received specialised training. Educators receive periodic training sessions focused on strategies and approaches for instructing students with exceptionalities. In the context of educational institutions, the process of school acculturation is often implemented during the initial orientation phase for incoming students. During student orientation, it is crucial to prioritise the instruction of habits and fostering a sense of acceptance towards individuals with diverse backgrounds
UTILIZATION OF MULTICULTURAL KNOWLEDGE ASSETS IN BUILDING RELIGIOUS MODERATION AT THE ISLAMIC STATE UNIVERSITY OF DATOKARAMA PALU
This study examines the prominent role of multicultural knowledge assets to be managed and utilized in supporting the success of the religious moderation program in Islamic universities, specifically the State Islamic University of Datokarama Palu. The university was chosen based on its background which focuses on the religious moderation aspect. This study aims to reveal the utilization of multicultural knowledge assets owned by the State Islamic University of Datokarama Palu to build religious moderation. One of the knowledge assets possessed is a multicultural intellectual asset. The method of the study was the qualitative method with a phenomenological approach. The data collection techniques used were interviews and documentation. This study produced several findings, namely; (1) multicultural knowledge does not only come from internal human resources personnel but also the knowledge that is institutional and sourced from external; (2) that multicultural knowledge is relevant to be utilized in the context of building religious moderation based on respect for cultural and religious diversity. However, in several programs, the State Islamic University of Datokarama Palu has not fully utilized the assets of multicultural knowledge. The two seem to be separated from the religious moderation development program. Despite that, both are integral units that need and support each other to build a moderate-academic social life at educational institutions.
 
ACTUALIZATION OF HISTORICAL EMPATHY TO ACHIEVE THE STUDENT PROFILE OF PANCASILA
Historical empathy is an aspect that is relevant to the student profile of Pancasila. The achievement of historical empathy can be a way to achieve a student profile of Pancasila. This study aims to: 1) analyze the correlation of students' historical empathy preferences with elements of the student profile of Pancasila; 2) formulate a historical empathy actualization model to achieve a student profile of Pancasila by referring to students' cognitive and affective preferences in learning history. This study uses a quantitative method to determine the correlation of historical empathy with elements of the student profile of Pancasila and a qualitative method to formulate interrelationships between components in the study and formulate a historical empathy actualization model to achieve a student profile of Pancasila. The results showed: 1) there was a significant correlation in the three aspects of empathy with the elements and sub-elements of the student profile of Pancasila; 2) based on students' cognitive and affective preferences in history learning, an actualization model can be formulated using two models, namely actualization that is relevant is the use of edutainment in history learning and project learning based on learning products
