In most parts of Assam, the Satriya culture is prevalent. Assamese culture is incomplete without this feature. To get to where it is now, the Satriya culture has undergone a major transition. In the 15th century, Srimanta Sankardeva and Sri Sri Madhabdeva founded this practice. Srimanta Sankardeva possessed a wide range of qualities. He was an Assamese poet, playwright, painter, and sculptor who contributed significantly to Assamese culture. He pushed for a pure, honest work culture, social discipline, humanized love, and universal religion acceptance. Education was a privilege reserved for a select few from society's top crust during Sankardeva's time. The mass people were still mired in a pit of illiteracy and ignorance. We shall study about the satriya culture, its evolution, importance, and Srimanta Sankardeva's contribution to society, culture, and education in this article

    Get PDF
Introduction: The unnamed openings present in mandible are called accessory foramina. The distribution and importance of these foramina are variable, as they may serve as a conduct for nerve fibres or blood vessels. They may be important for dental surgeon and anaesthetists in performing complete nerve block and avoiding injury to the transverse get neurovascular structures. Materials & Methods: In the present study a total of 50 dry human mandibles of unknown sex and without any gross abnormality were collected from the Department of Anatomy, Saveetha Dental College, Chennai for evaluation. With the help of Vernier Calliper and Ruler, the measurements like the length, breadth and diameter of sacral hiatus will be measured. The results obtained were analysed, tabulated and represented graphically. Results: The Accessory foramina on the  internal surface of the mandible was examined.Frequency of accessory mandibular foramen in 0.5mm is 40% ,in 1.0mm is 18%, in 1.5mm is 9%. Frequency of accessory mental foramen and frequency of accessory  retromolar foramen in  0.25mm is 20% and 9% respectively. Conclusion: The accessory foramina transmitting during nerve block.&nbsp

The research conceptualizes pedagogy as the art of organizing the ways in which children are educated through socialization practices, to form citizens with desirable characteristics for a society. For this, it seeks to describe the knowledge about parenting practices and stages of development of the Kichwa del Pastaza nationality. The objective of the research is to base an epistemology of intercultural pedagogy from the knowledge that the Kichwa del Pastaza nationality has on parenting patterns and stages of child development. The methodology applied is documentary descriptive, applying the analysis and interpretation of content, it was limited to the review of articles published in digital magazines, located in databases such as Redalyc, Scopus, WOS, Latindex 2.0, interviews; The results show that one of the difficulties is the absence of research on early childhood education for indigenous peoples in the country and the limited academic production in the region, a situation that leads to the proposal of an analysis methodology that allows the foundation of an intercultural pedagogy from the collective memory. of the Kichwa del Pastaza nationality on parenting practices and stages of development. &nbsp

Objectives: Alcohol dependence (AD) poses a serious medical problem and significant public health issue contributing to morbidity and mortality throughout the world. The aim of the study was to establish the allele and genotype frequencies and to test the association of rs698 (ADH1C) and rs671(ALDH2) with the risk of alcohol dependence in south Indian Tamilian population. Methodology: A total of 150 alcohol dependent cases aged between 18- and 65-years fulfilling DSM-V criteria were recruited from the de-addiction centre. Blood donors (n=150) who had a history of alcohol intake with AUDIT score of less than eight were selected for the control group. The alleles were genotyped using TaqMan SNP genotyping assays by quantitative PCR. Association with alcohol dependence was evaluated with various genetic models using the Chi-square test. Multiple logistic regression analysis was performed to explore the effect of covariates. Results: The observed genotype frequency distributions of rs698 and rs671 were in agreement with Hardy Weinberg equilibrium (p>0.05).The dominant and allelic genetic model of ALDH2, rs671 between cases and controls showed a statistically significant association of the genetic variant with AD.&nbsp

In India, the pending of court cases and the consequence of deprivation of basic human rights is a question of quality and effectiveness in the country's judicial system. Indian courts have a huge backlog of litigation, which would take several years to clear if the system continues to operate at its current level of efficiency. One of the grey areas in which our justice delivery system has fallen short of the public's expectations is the judiciary's failure to provide justice quickly. One of the most significant issues facing the judiciary is the delay in the administration of justice. In this research paper, the author discusses the problems with the Indian judiciary and the need to strengthen court management in order to reduce case pending times
