    Get PDF
Ronald Harden introduced OSCE (Objective structured clinical examination) for the first time in medical education in 1975 at the Dundee University, Scot J and to assess the skills and clinical performance of students. Now, it is used in other branches of  health sciences including nursing, dentistry and pharmacy OSCE has become a popular tool for assessing competence  in clinical nursing It has been used in medical schools for both formative and summative assessment to validate clinical skills by using standardized patients”.In the last two decades, rapid and extensive changes happened in student assessment methods of medical education. Many of the assessment methods have been developed and mainly concentrated on clinical procedural ability, conveying skills and Professionalism The OSCE is defined as "an approach to the assessment of clinical competence in which the components of competence are assessed well planned or structured way with attention being paid to objectivity”. The OSCE is becoming or prevalent within healthcare education programmes because it is regarded as a useful method for meaning skills and underpinning knowledge required for practice During the OSCE examination, students rotate around a circuit of stations on a timed basis

    Get PDF
Introduction: CRP is a valuable marker and regulator of systemic inflammation in RA that also appears to play a direct role in bone destruction and radiographic progression. CRP has also been implicated in the etiology of common comorbidities associated with RA. Decreasing CRP levels with RA treatment may contribute to reductions in disease activity, although beneficial effects of RA treatment seem to occur irrespective of CRP values. Aim: The purpose of this study was to examine whether levels of C-reactive protein (CRP), a sensitive marker of disease activity in rheumatoid arthritis (RA). Materials & methods: This study was carried out on 39 RF Positive patients from both sexes male and female from different age group at NIMS Super-Specialty Hospital, Sobha Nagar, Jaipur, Rajasthan. Inflammatory markers were performed in the laboratory. Results: In the current study, the majority of Rheumatoid Arthritis patients  belong to the age group of 41 to 60 (58.97%) and  male to female ration were 1:2. C - reactive protein found highly significant positive correlation. Out of total Rheumatoid Arthritis patients, 7.69% patients have normal C - reactive protein level and 92.30% have highly increased CRP level.

Nowadays, Email spam is a major problem, with the increase usage of internet for product promotions, e-banking, e-loans, health related articles, movie news etc to users. Besides the people are practicing unwanted and unethical conduct as in phishing and mailing fraudulent information. Sending suspicious links through spam emails can harm our system and can also be sought after our system. Creating a fake user identity and email account is such easy for spammers. They pretend like a genuine entity in their spam emails and target those people who are not aware of these frauds. So, it is essential to identify those spam emails which are fraud. In this proposed work, we have applied machine learning algorithm to identify whether the incoming mail is spam or ham. This project will discuss how the Naive Bayes machine learning algorithm is applied on our data sets and how it has been selected for the email spam detection with the best precision and accurac

An R-2R DAC utilizes less special esteem which is in contrast with to the binary weighed- input DAC. Continuous sampling and measuring of an analog signal occurs over time. This project depends on R-2R Ladder for investing Low power utilization, no dynamic chip and Low DNL. The DAC is executed in a virtuoso device on 90 Nanometer CMOS Technology. The two stages in our projects seems to be Operational Amplifier and R-2R Ladder Digital to analog converters enable transmission of analog signals over digital signal processing chips [1].Two stages are involved in the OP-Amp, the first one being a differential amplifier. We use this Differential Amplifier to obtain high gain and second stage namely Common Source Amplifier. It increases Gain that leaded from the first stage and increases it Output swing. In our project,R-2R DAC is implemented using CADENCE 90nm tool

The article describes rare cases from the practice of pediatric orthopedist-traumatologist.  Modern household appliances are often the reason for children to receive significant and severe injuries that increase the risk of disability for life. The peculiarity of the child's body is that at different ages the same traumatic force causes completely different results, which must be taken into account in the practice of traumatology. The aim of this work is to comparative assessment of injuries depending on the magnitude of the traumatic impact, the condition of bone tissue, and the development of optimal methods of treatment of these injuries. The basis of the work is the results of examinations of patients of the trauma department of the regional children's hospital with rare injuries over the past 10 years. The basic methods of examination were X-ray, computed tomography. It was found that there is a direct dependence of the severity of the injuries on the age of the child, the duration of the traumatic impact, its area and treatment tactics.Summarizing the data obtained, we believe that in the case of destructive effects of injuries, it is advisable to use adequate, active, early surgical tactics
