This research employed a mixed research methodology combining quantitative and qualitative methods. For the quantitative research part, the research sample consisted of 360 executives of public limited companies in Thailand. The sample size was determined based on the criterion of 20 times the observed variables. They were selected via stratified sampling. Data were collected with the use of a questionnaire and analyzed with a structural equation model

Determination of dutasteride in pure and tablet by flow injection system

    Get PDF
A new Spectrophotometric flaw injection method has been established for the determination of Dutasteride (DS) in Pure and pharmaceutical tablets preparations. The method was based on the interaction of Dutasteride, as an n-electron donor with Chloranil as a π-acceptor, in acetonitrile to give reddish orange colored Chloranil radical anion with absorption maxima at 525 nm. The linearity of this method was in the range of (0.9948-8.932) ug.ml' with a correlation coefficient of 0.9969, a relative standard deviation (RSD) 0.422 %, with detection limit of (0.420) ug.ml"

This study investigates the moderating effects of customers' attitudinal qualities on the link between major demographical indicators and purchase intention for environmentally friendly items. Several possibilities have been offered. In Tamil Nadu, a questionnaire was created and circulated through an internet survey. There were a total of 545 valid replies received.  This impact is consistent among consumers of various income levels. The knowledge and skill elements have no influence on customers' purchasing intentions. Factor analysis has been carried out on the variables of the Consumers attitude on Eco-friendly Product buying behaviour. One-Sample T-Test and Ranking Analysis are used to analyse Consumer Preference to buy an Environmental – Friendly Products.  Cronbach’s alpha is used in order to assess the construct reliability of the scale. This research adds to a better knowledge of the elements that influence eco-friendly products consumption intentions in Tamil Nadu, as well as consumer behaviour in developing nations. Furthermore, the findings give insight on the relevance of current situation in emerging economies and a specific industrial settings

Background: There have been numerous studies about the health implication of COVID-19 on patients, but little attention has been paid to the impacts of the pandemic on physicians. Our paper attends to this gap by exploring the mental health of physicians in Madhya Pradesh, India during the COVID-19 pandemic. Methodology: This study examined medical professionals' mental health outcomes by evaluating the prevalence and associated potential risk factors of anxiety and depression. Using a web-based cross-sectional survey, we collected data from 100 Medical professionals. Seven-item Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD-7) scale and Nine-item Patient Health Questionnaire (PHQ-9) were used to measure the anxiety and depression, respectively. Result: 36 %  males and 34 % females had anxiety. 26 % males and 29 % females had depression and 38 % males and 37 % females none. Findings revealed that marital status, work per day and current job location were the main risk factors for anxiety while sex, age, and marital status were the main risk factors for depression. Conclusion: Our results highlight the need to implement policies and strategies for positively impacting the mental health of physicians during and after the COVID-19 pandemic

Morinda citrifolia mediated biogenic synthesis of selenium nanoparticles and evaluation of its antimicrobial and antioxidant activity

    Get PDF
Purpose : The aim of the study is to assess its potential to synthesize selenium nanoparticles (SeNPs) with Noni fruit extract and augment its antimicrobial and antioxidant activity. Materials and methods: The synthesized SeNPs were confirmed using UV-vis spectroscopy and transmission electron microscopy (TEM). Antimicrobial activity against S. mutans, S. aureus, E. faecalis, C. albicans was tested using agar diffusion; antioxidant potential assessed on 2,2-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl hydrate oxidation. Results : UV-vis, and TEM confirmed the synthesis of SeNPs and revealed smooth spherical nanoparticles (25-100nm). SeNPs exhibited significant antimicrobial activity for the provided concentration against all organisms and excellent antioxidant potential in a dose dependent manner (84% inhibition/50 µl concentration). Conclusion : Morinda citrifolia augmented biogenic SeNPs is a cost effective yet efficient method and they show great potential as oral antimicrobial agent with superior antioxidant properties and is eco-friendly
