Biogat-fert technique ensure to maximizing water and fertilizer unit productivity  for potato crop, Two field experiments were carried out during growing seasons 2019-2020 and 2020-2021, at research farm of National Research Centre in Nubaria region, Egypt to study management of biogat-fert technique on potato crop under drip irrigation system in sandy soil conditions. Study factors were fertigation techniques (fertigation, biogat-fert and fertilizers). The following parameters were studied to evaluate the effect of study factors: (1) mineral and biological fertilizers effect of soil, (2) microbial number, (3) NPK ratio, (4) Yield of potato, (5) water use efficiency of potato, (6) Crop water production function. The results conducted that soil fertility was enhanced greatly in bio-fertilizer treatment. The average total N, total P and total K in 0–40 cm soil layers increased to 29.17, 26.67and 36.7% respectively. The average CFU of bacteria in soil layers increased by 15 Time. After drip irrigation, the CFU of bacteria had increased further, and reached more than 7.8× 107 CFU/g dry soil in the 0–40 cm soil layers. The results showed that the application of different bio-fertilizer along with fertilizers revealed significant positive impact on crop yield

Evaluation of the posterior reference point of ala tragus line in relation to occlusal plane and Frankfort horizontal plane through cephalometry in Sangareddy (Telangana) population

    Get PDF
The Occlusal plane (OP) inclination is determined by paralleling the ala- tragus line to the occlusal plane. The location of the ala-tragus line is unclear because the exact location of the posterior reference tragal point is controversial. Additionally, morphological variations are observed between different ethnic groups. Therefore, evaluation of the exact reference point on the tragus is important. The study aimed to determine the most reliable posterior reference point on the ala‑tragus line that forms the most parallel line with the natural OP among the dentate Sangareddy volunteers from Telangana. Prosthodontically related craniofacial reference lines and angles of lateral cephalometric radiographs were analyzed for 25 dentate volunteers. Stainless steel balls were attached to the ala of the nose (A) and three points corresponding to the inferior (I), middle (M), and superior (S) points on the tragus. The angle formed by each line (IA, MA, and SA planes) with the OP and Frankfort horizontal (FH) plane were measured on cephalometric tracings

Feeding difficulties are common in children with diplegic cerebral palsy (CP). Swallowing difficulties, extended feeding times, poor postural control, frequent chocking/coughing, trouble drinking, and frequent vomiting are the most common feeding challenges. The dysfunctional daily eating activities among these population result in reduced quality of life, limited functional performance, and they become dependent in most of oral health care and mealtimes. The specific nature and severity of the feeding problems may differ to some degree, in relation to sensorimotor impairment, gross and fine motor limitations. This study was conducted to investigate the effect of electrical stimulation on oro-motor skills and gross motor abilities in children with diplegic cerebral palsy and to find out if there was a relationship between them. Eighteen children with diplegic cerebral palsy aged from 3 to 5 years from both sexes participated in this study. They received a designed physical therapy, oromotor exercises for 60 minutes followed by electrical stimulation for 40 minutes. The treatment was conducted two sessions per week for three successive months. Data obtained from both groups pre treatment and post treatment regarding Gross Motor Function Measure (GMFM-88), Oral Motor Assessment Scale (OMAS)

In Chronic Kidney Disease leading factor for morbidity and mortality is Cardiovascular disease. In CKD there is a risk of cardiovascular complications more than 50%. Dyslipidemia is one of leading risk cause for cardiovascular complication in normal healthy individual and also in chronic kidney disease. The Study contains 180 in which 45 as control group and 135 will be CKD individuals with stage 3 to stage 5 each stage consist of 45 each. In all the subjects Serum sample was estimated for blood urea, creatinine, triglycerides, cholesterol, and HDL-C by using fully automatic chemistry analyzer. VLDL, LDL and AIP was calculated. GFR was estimated by MDRD formula. Data was expressed by Mean ±SD. The mean value of triglycerides and VLDL in serum are raised in CKD stages 3 to stage 5 compared with control and it is shown statistically significant (p<0.001). The HDL-C mean value is decreased in CKD stages 3 to stage 5 when compared with control and it is shown statistically significant (p<0.0001). The mean value of serum total cholesterol and LDL-C is not significantly significant in CKD stages 3 to stage 5 compared with control

    Get PDF
Photobiomodulation is currently trending as a potential stimulator of several cell lines including human dental pulp stem cells (HDPSc) proliferation and differentiation. This study evaluated the Photo-biomodulatory effects of different wavelength diode lasers on HDPSc proliferation and differentiation. Dental pulp stem cells were recovered from human mature premolar teeth extracted for orthodontic reasons, isolated and cultured followed by irradiation with different wavelength laser diodes (660 nm, 450nm and 810nm, 100 mW, all standardized to continuous mode, for 3 minutes at a distance of 1cm from the cells). Cell proliferation was analyzed at 1, 3, and 5 days by flow cytometry. Cell differentiation was analyzed by Alizarin Red Staining at days 7, 14 and 21. Cell proliferation and differentiation were compared with a negative control where cells were maintained in a culture medium without any irradiation and a positive control where pulp cells were cultured in a growth induction medium - Mineral trioxide aggregate (MTA). One -Way and Repeated measures ANOVA followed by Tukey’s HSD post Hoc test were used for statistical analysis. Proliferating cells were significantly higher in the positive control and Infra-red-PBM groups compared to other groups. (Day 3: p=0.002, Day 5: p=0.00)
