A comparative study of different doses of intrathecal nalbuphine as an adjuvant to bupivacaine in subarachnoid block in cesarean section
Background: Spinal anesthesia is preferred over general anesthesia by most of the anesthetists in cesarean section as it provides post-operative analgesia. Materials and methods: The parturient were randomly divided two groups of 30 each. Inj. Bupivacaine 2ml with Inj. Nalbuphine 0.75 mg (GROUP A) and 1 mg (GROUP B) diluted till 0.5 ml, making a total volume of 2.5 ml. The onset and duration of sensory and motor blockade, time of absolute and effective analgesia, number of rescue analgesia required in 24 hours, hemodynamic stability and side-effects were noted. Results: Onset time of motor block was significantly prolonged in group A (3.93±0.59) as compared to group B (3.29±0.46). Duration of absolute analgesia (185.74±4.17) and effective analgesia in Group B (197.25±5.58) is higher as compared to group A, thus number of rescue analgesia required in 24hrs is more in Group A (2.03±0.72) as compared to group B (0.77±0.57)Conclusion: 1mg Intrathecal Nalbuphine as an adjuvant to 0.5% hyperbaric Bupivacaine is more efficient in prolonging postoperative analgesia compared to 0.75 mg dose

Effects of Dexamethasone on Trophoblastic, IDO, and Macrophage Cells in Domestic Pregnant Rabbits (Oryctolagus cuniculus)
The healthy pregnancy requires a healthy fetal-maternal placental development that depends not only on invasion of fetal trophoblast but also on the presence of immune cells, such as macrophages. Dexamethasone (DEX) is used to treat several diseases, but exceed exposure to exogenous DEX may impair placental and fetal development and subsequent fetal loss. The current study investigates the effects of high dose of DEX (HD) (1.125 mg) and low dose of DEX (LD) (0.562 mg) on trophoblastic (T), IDO, andCD68 macrophage (M) cells in domestic pregnant rabbits (Oryctolagus cuniculus). Forty-eight pregnant does were caged in the animal house and divided into six groups, eight for each. These groups are treated as follows: groups A and B (as an experimental groups) were daily injected by (1ml) from day 5 to 9 of gestation (dG) with HD and LD, respectively; whereas group C was injected by (1 ml) of sodium chloride (0.9%) (as a control group). Then, all the groups (A, B and C) were dissected at 10 and 28 dG

The advantages of digital applications in public health services on automation era
This study explored the advantages of using digital applications in public services in the era of automation. We have searched data in many applications, including scientific journals, books, academic residences, and many telling applications in the medical world. A series of data studies involving coding system analysis, evaluation, and interpretation, became more in-depth so that the data we found could be digested to answer this research question. Our data search was conducted electronically on secondary data published from 2010 to 2022. While the format of this study report is suitable from problem formulation to reporting on water, we chose a descriptive qualitative design with a phenomenological approach, trying to obtain the broadest possible data that is useful in answering questions of research questions. Based on the data and discussion, this study found several advantages of using digital applications in public health services in the current digital era. The reason is that digital applications have been able to innovate the work of paramedics in improving services to the public about health. Hopefully, this salary buddy will be full of supporting data for future health and technology studies
