Solving NP-hard problem using a new relaxation of approximate methods
Get PDFA new approach has been introduced for solving NP-hardness problem in combinatorial optimization problems. Actully, our study focused on the relationship between the Lagrange method and Penalty method ,this paper introduce a new relaxation of the fesible region.Furthermore, NP hard problem has been tested and showed that the Augmented Lagrangian Approach outperformed the Penalty method. Enhancing agile process with open unified process framework (OUPF)
Get PDFThe awareness and practice of the agile process has increased very much in recent years. Yet, there are gaps among the developers in agile adoption. A backup support from conventional process standards can enhance the outcome of agile work. Choosing Open Unified Process framework (OUPF) as process repository, a semantic model is proposed to link an agile software project with standard process components and guidelines. Any agile software project can be instantiated in terms of requirements (as user stories) and tasks using this semantic model, drawing guidance from OUPF. This semantic model is applied on a real time project in an industrial environment. The results show that there is an improvement in project outcome when agile is combined with Open Unified Process Framework

Role of orbital magnetic resonance imaging in early detection of graves’ orbitopathy and disease activity
Get PDFBackground and aim: we aim to evaluate feasibility of using diffusion tensor imaging (DTI) "A new technique of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI)", of extraocular muscles (EOMs) in patients with Graves’ orbitopathy (GO) versus clinical activity score (CAS) in early detection of GO activity. Methods and materials: This case control study was conducted on 20 patients with moderate to severe active GO (10 males & 10 females with a mean age of 35.50±13.65 years) and 10 age and sex-matched volunteers without any thyroid abnormality as a health control (HC). Patients and HCs underwent DTI of the orbit in coronal plane. Mean diffusivity (MD) of each of the EOMs was calculated. CAS, according to the standardized criteria recommended by European Group on Graves’ Orbitopathy (EUGOGO), was calculated for the patients. Results: GO patients’ EOMs showed significantly higher MD values compared to HCs’ (P < 0.001). Median CAS was 4. A statistically significant positive correlation was only detected between CAS and MD of the inferior rectus muscle (r=.360, p=.023). Conclusion: DTI is a useful tool for detecting microstructural changes in GO and superior to CAS in early detection of GO activity
The relationship between psychological birth order, social anxiety and childhood trauma
Get PDFThe research was carried out to examine the relationship between psychological birth order, social anxiety and childhood traumas of adult participants. Childhood Trauma Scale, Liebowitz Social Anxiety Scale, White-Campbell Psychological Birth Order Inventory and demographic information form prepared by the researchers were applied to a total of 456 participants, 270 women and 186 men, aged 18-45 years. The sub-dimensions of the Liebowitz Social Anxiety Scale are fear/anxiety and avoidance.The sub-dimensions of the Childhood Trauma Scale are emotional abuse, physical abuse, physical neglect, emotional neglect and sexual abuse. According to the findings; It was determined that there was a moderate positive and significant relationship between childhood traumas and psychological birth order in middle children.It was determined that there was a moderate and negative relationship between sexual abuse and the Persuasive and Charmer youngest children of male gender. Based on the Social Anxiety Scale, it was determined that the middle children of female gender who were physically neglected and abused avoid social anxiety. It was concluded that the middle and the only children of male gender who were physically and emotionally neglected had social anxiety

Get PDFThis study analysed the social situation in Korea caused by the Corona pandemic, as shown in YouTube videos between January 2020 when the Corona pandemic began in Korea and December 2021, about two years later, along with its characteristics. The aim of the study was to derive lessons for future quarantine policies. First, the two-year period was divided into three phases in consideration of trends in the number of Corona patients. Then, for each period, YouTube videos created during this period were analysed using text network analysis and the system dynamics analysis method, both of which represent a kind of big data analysis method. This analysis method is new, and is highly significant in terms of research methodology. In addition, the analysis results provide important policy implications. One important policy meaning is the derivation of the reinforcing loop and balancing loop that policymakers should consider for each period

Muhammad Gouri, the great ruler played a significant role in the development of Arabic learning and Islamic studies in India. Besides the traditional centre of Islamic learning, Indian government has always remained keen to the development of Arabic language and literature
The influence of fixed orthodontic retainer on oral microbiota
Get PDFBackground: The oral cavity is a wide versatile microbial community in which many microbial species coexist in harmony. However, with certain circumstances, i.e. orthodontic appliances, pathogenic biofilm outgrowth occurs. The aim: The aim of this study was to compare opportunistic pathogens, associated with dental caries and periodontal disease in addition to Candida albicans, between healthy individuals and patient wearing fixed orthodontic retainers. Method: Fourty eight subjects were recruited andwere divided into retainer wearers and control cohort groups. Biofilm samples from the lingual surface of the mandibular anterior teeth of the control group and the fixed retainer surface were evaluated to detect Streptococcus mutans, Lactobacillus acidophilus, Aggrigatibacter actinomycetemcomitans, Fusobacterium nucleatum and C. albicans. Additionally, plaque (PI) and gingival (GI) indices were measured at the mandibular anterior teeth in both groups. The results: The results showed a significant increase in total micobial count in retainer group (p<0.001). The prevalence of microbial cultivity was higher in retainer group with a significant increase in PI and GI. Moreover, there was a high correlation between these genera and the GI. The conclusion: fixed retainer may increase cariogenic and periodontal pathogens and compromise oral health
