Understanding the role of counselors on teenagers promisquity with outbound techniques through natural and historical tourism: Case study at SMA Negeri 30 Banda Naira, Central Maluku
Get PDFThis paper aims to understand the role of Guidance and Counseling teachers (counselors) in overcoming promisquity among school adolescents. This paper based on the results of qualitative research, using a phenomenological perspective, especially on the narratives of everyday life with the subjects of counselors and students of SMA Negeri 30, Banda Naira, Central Maluku. Data collection techniques using interviews, descriptive-qualitative analysis observation. The results showed that the there are two causes of this promisquity – internal and external causes. Internal causes are originate from the individual itself, such as lack of understanding of religion and adolescents who have weak mental (rationality and emotionality). The external causes are originate from outside - the environment that is not conducive such as lack of parental attention, family conditions that are less harmonious (broken home), the influence of the local social environment, and the influence of social media. The counselor's effort in overcoming the promisquity of adolescents at SMA Negeri 30 Maluku Tengah was through natural and historical tourism outbound techniques, which is another form of outbound technique in the group counseling model
Evaluate IL-10 level and gene polymorphism in β-Thalassemia patients with related to microbial infection and disease outcome
Get PDFThalassemia is a genetic blood disorder inherited from the parent with unusual production of hemoglobin, infectious complications, immune abnormalities and iron overload with related to organ damage that consider a chief causes of morbidity and mortality. So this study aimed to evaluate the important causative agents and the role of IL-10 gene polymorphism in progressive disease. A Case-control study was performed to 46 Beta-thalassemia patients attended to inherited blood center in AL-Zahraa teaching hospital with group of 30 healthy individual as control. Blood sample was collected from all patients and control. IL-10 level were measured by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Singule nucleotide polymorphism detected by ARMS-PCR technique. The result shown that 46(46% ) patients with thalassemia , the male higher than female with frequency (65%), according to infection 32(70%) were TTI with HCV a most common pathogen 19(41 %).This study explain that serum level of IL-10 is significantly higher among patients with thalassemia (98±27.53)pg/ml compared to healthy control (10.67±1.49) pg\ml and was higher in HCV infected patients (121.56 ±32.60)pg/ml than non-infected with HCV record ( 73.61± 18.29) pg/ml. 
Assessment of the prognosis of post and core supported crowns: An observational study
Get PDFBackground: The present study was conducted of assessing the prognosis of post and core supported crowns. Materials & methods: A total of 100 patients who underwent post and core treatment for dental rehabilitation were enrolled. the patients underwent post and core treatment. Radiographic assessment was done on subsequent follow-up. Both clinical and radiographic evaluation of all the patients was done for assessing the prognosis. Results were compiled in Microsoft excel sheet and were analyzed by SPSS software. Results: Out of 100 patients, successful prognosis of post and core treatment was seen in 93 percent of the patients while failure was seen in 7 percent of the patients. Non-significant results were obtained while assessing the correlation of prognosis with site. Conclusion: When done with adequate precaution, post and core treatment has good prognosis

The cisplatin-induced apoptosis pathway can go through the ER stress pathway which will activate Bax and Bak (proapoptosis) causing calcium homeostasis disorders to occur. Glutamine protective effect on caspase-12 expression on the prevention of apoptotic events in renal proximal tubular epithelial cells is unknown. This further study analyzes the effects of intravenous glutamine on caspase- 12 expression in the apoptosis of renal proximal tubular cells of male white rats exposed to cisplatin. The control group (P0) consisted of 10 individuals, group P1 on day 7 was given a single dose of 20mg / kg of intraperitoneal cisplatin injection, group P2 on day 1-7 was given intravenous glutamine injection of 100mg / kg on day 7 also given a single intraperitoneal cisplatin injection 20mg / kg. The number of cells expressing caspase-12 and the number of apoptotic cells was observed after 72 hours. Caspase-12 expression and apoptosis data were collected for processing and analysis. There is a significant effect (p <0.0001) in giving intravenous glutamine on caspase-12 expression in renal proximal tubular cell apoptosis. Glutamine can inhibit the expression of caspase-12, and the incidence of proximal tubular cell apoptosis were exposed by cisplatin
Evaluation of medical assays by multiple-choice questions: Example of 10-years’ experience of a North African Country
Get PDFConstruct: Authors examined the use of multiple choice question tests in assessment of undergraduate students, and made a docimological evaluation of the quality of the tests. Background: Moroccan universities are gradually integrating multiple-choice questions as a method of evaluation. At the Faculty of Medicine of Marrakech-Morocco, this type of test is used to assess medical students’ knowledge, in addition to easier large-scale assessments and automatic correction, test reliability and validity are major qualities of multiple-choice questions, their important disadvantage is that they are difficult and time-consuming to construct. The aim this study was to report the authors experience in assessment of undergraduate students and to make a docimological evaluation of the quality of the tests.Approach: we conducted an observational study on tests used for the assessment of semiology and pathology tests in urology and nephrology, during 10 years (2007 to 2017), we performed the analysis of the different criteria for writing an assay. Results: six-hundred and forty questions were analyzed in the pathology modules, 56,2% of questions addressed level I of Bloom's modified taxonomy, level II (28,8%), level III (15%)

Pilates exercise helps to improve our mental health because players sit on the river so mind goes through critical situation, because rowing is a fast, balancing, coordination, or power full game. So rower needs mental strength as well as physical strength. In pilates plank is a very popular moves which used to strengthen abdominal muscles and elongate arm muscles.

Compulsory licensing has been a key tool for opening up IP without the approval of patent holders.There is frequently a conflict between the need to grant monopolies in the form of IP rights as an incentive for pharmaceutical sector advancements on the one hand, and the need to award monopolies in the form of IP rights as a fundamental right on the other. As a result, hurdles exist in decision-making in order to strike a balance between innovative incentives and assuring access to healthcare. 
Teaching language skills in the ESL classroom through programmed instruction: A glimpse

Realizing that communication plays an important part in encouraging the learners to use the target language. The aims and objectives of the study are to introduce appropriate teaching strategy to enhance lexical resources and enable learners to communicate effectively and judiciously in real life situation; provide intrinsically motivating technique; encourage the use of authentic language in meaningful context and develop imagination and creativity , intellectual , personal and professional abilities among the growing learners. Programmed instruction is a systematic method of teaching language skills with an authoritative and personalized technique..In which subject matters are categorized in a logical sequence of controlled steps with corresponding activities.This is functioned depended on the intellectual concepts of operant condition.It covers both TESL and TEFL as an umbrella term.Both native speakers and non-native speakers successfully train to be English language teachers. Learners work through the programmed material by themselves at their own speed and after each step test their comprehension by answering an examination question or filling a diagram. 
The impact of the obligation to treat events subsequent to the balance sheet date in accordance with the requirements of international accounting standard No. (10) on forecasting financial failure
Get PDFThe study aimed to reveal the impact of the commitment of companies operating in Erbil Governorate, Kurdistan Region of Iraq based on the requirements of the international accounting standard (NO. 10) on predicting financial failure. To achieve the objective of the study, a questionnaire was made considering feedback from 50 academics and working professionals in the Erbil governorate, and the results were analyzed by the statistical program, namely SPSS. The results show that there is a statistically significant impact of the commitment to treat events subsequent to the date of the balance sheet in accordance with the requirements of International Accounting Standard No. (10) on improving forecasting of financial failure. Additionally, this study presented a set of recommendations such as the necessity for companies in the Erbil governorate to comply with the requirements of the tenth international accounting standard with regard to modified and unmodified events and appropriate disclosures
Comparison of antimicrobial efficacy of chemical mouthwash and herbal mouthwash: An ex vivo study on orthodontic arch wires
Get PDFBackground: The use of mouth rinse for oral hygiene maintenance has been advocated as an adjuvant to mechanical aids of plaque removal. The aim of this study was to compare the antimicrobial effect of herbal and chemical mouth rinse on bacterial accumulation on orthodontic arch wires. Materials and Methods: The study sample consisted of 15 numbers of 0.016 Nickel Titanium (NiTi) arch wires removed from patients' mouths, which were split into three segments of 1 cm each. Wires were dipped in solutions of Chlorhexidine (Group A), Befresh Herbal (Group B) and Distilled water (Group C) individually for 30 seconds and then in normal saline for one minute. 0.5microlitre of this saline solution was inoculated in a Brain heart infusion medium (BHI) for 24 hours and then examined for bacterial count. The obtained results were subjected to One-way ANOVA, Bonferroni and post hoc tests for statistical analysis. Results: Group A showed the maximum reduction in the bacterial colony forming units (CFU) after 24 hours with a mean value of 65.67cfu. Group B showed a mean value of 336.87cfu. There was a statistically significant difference between the Chlorhexidine group and the Control group.
