Diabetic retinopathy disease
INTRODUCTION: Diabetic Retinopathy is an eye disease that can cause loss of vision and vision in people with diabetes. Diabetic retinopathy occurs when high blood sugar levels affect the blood vessels in the retina. Nonproliferative diabetic retinopathy (NPDR) and proliferative diabetic retinopathy (PDR) are two types of diabetic retinopathy (PDR). Blood sugar levels may be controlled to control NPDR. PDR is a very serious condition that affects the middle view. Diabetes retinopathy is diagnosed using dilated eye scan, fluorescein angiography, and optical coherence tomography. Laser treatments, eye injections, and surgery are also used to treat the onset of diabetes. To prevent new blood vessels from growing behind the eyes, injections of vascular endothelial cell factor inhibitors are injected directly into the eyes. AIM: Diabetic retinopathy disease. CONCLUSION: Diabetic retinopathy is a permanent condition. Laser analysis (photocoagulation) is normally very helpful at avoiding vision damage when performed before the eye is damaged. If the eye is not badly affected, surgical removal of the vitreous gel will increase vision (vitrectomy). An anti-inflammatory or anti-vascular endothelial growth factor injection may help create new blood vessels in some cases of chronic diabetes
To fabricate and evaluate the wound healing activity of herbal medicated plasters containing the extracts obtained from Tridax procumbens and Azadirachta indica
The present research work is to fabricate medicated plaster containing herbal extracts for wound healing properties. Till date no herbal medicated plaster have been prepared and evaluated using the extracts obtained from the plants Neem and Coatbutton. The objective of the present studyis to provide the herbal medicated plasters to the society. The majoradvantage of this medicated herbal plaster is its safety, efficacy, portability and efficiency. There is much more study such as Collection of plant, Extraction of plant materials and their antimicrobial test, Evaluation of qualitative and quantitative test, Estimation of total phenolic content, Antioxidant study, Antimicrobial study, Estimation of patch test, Antimicrobial studies of patch test. The plant extracts were quantitatively analysed for total flavonoids content, total phenolic content, and antioxidant activity. Methanolic extract of Azadirechta indica and Tridax procumbens has shown presence of high content of flavonoids and total phenolic content. Also the Azadirachtin content in the neem extracts was determined. All the six extracts AIME, AIPE, AIAE, TPME, TPPE and TPAE were subjected to antimicrobial activity. In patch test FII batch shows the excellent antimicrobial activity.FII patch was selected for fabrication of plasters which was then subjected to the pharmacological study

Evaluation of bone loss around dental implants in smokers and nonsmokers
Introduction: Dental implants are used to replace missing teeth. Smoking tobacco is considered as risk factor in implant success rate. Materials and method: In present study 50 patients were divided into equal two groups: Group I with smokers and Group II with nonsmokers. After considering the inclusion and exclusion criteria, implant was placed by slandered aseptic procedure in both the groups. The success of implant was assessed clinically for mobility f implant and radiographically for marginal bone loss at 3, 6 and 9 months after implant placement. The difference in the parameters at each recall interval was examined and recorded. The obtained data for both the groups were statistically analyzed. Results: There was marginal loss around dental implant and implant mobility was observed in smoker at 3,6 and 9 months. The finding was statistically significant in group I. Conclusion: There is definite correlation of smoking on failure of dental implants
