The percentage change in the indicators with the progression of pandemic was calculated for all five states and compared. The projected increased number of deaths, the state of Uttarakhand would have experienced, if the state had the declining average case growth of the other states taken for study was also calculated. The data analysis shows that the Uttarakhand had a sharp fall in the active cases by 3 to 4 weeks post lockdown, the period corresponding with maximum coverage of ivermectin distribution in the state

For me, employee satisfaction at the Guntakal Railway Division is a fascinating issue. The vast majority of workers are pleased with the company's performance. The majority of workers are aware of the company's strategy and have faith in its leadership. The majority of employees get enough appreciation for their contributions. Railways that pay their workers a decent wage will continue to function. Employees must share tasks and work in line with the organization's goals, just as they would in a family. People are constantly given opportunities to demonstrate their abilities and be acknowledged. The upper management is quite accessible

The Sexual Dimorphism able from tooth because the size, stature and appearance between male and female is different in both the sexes.3 Objective: To investigate the accuracy with which gender can be identified by using the Maxillary Canine Index. Materials and Methods: Total 150 subjects were taken for the study purpose in which 75 are male and rest 75 are females in the department of RKDF medical collage & RKDF dental college Bhopal. This study was carried out on 150 subjects which were available. The ages of the subjects ranges between 19-25 years.   The procedure for measuring the mesio-distal tooth width was performed as described by Hunter and Priest method. The inter-canine distance was measured between the tips of same arch canines

Erosive lichen planus is counted amongst the most debilitating conditions of oral cavity which has multifactorial etiology and malignant turnover potential. It has been documented that ozonated olive oil have healing, anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial and antioxidant properties and thus have great potential in management of the ulcerative lesions. Present study is aimed to evaluate and compare the efficacy of using ozonated olive oil combined with systemic steroid and antioxidant in the management of erosive lichen planus. Materials and methods: Eighty patients with a confirmed clinical and histopathologic diagnosis of erosive OLP were randomly allocated into four groups. Group I, II, III and IV were prescribed systemic Prednisolone 40 mg/day,soft-gel capsule lycopene (6 mg/day), combination therapy of systemic steroid (40mg/day) along with ozonated olive oil and combination therapy of lycopene (16 mg/day) and ozonated olive oil respectively. OLP clinical course was assessed by measuring severity of pain, burning sensation(VAS), clinical signs(scale of Thongprasom) and efficacy of the treatment(efficacy index methods of Liu set). Patients were monitored on regular follow up

Shashi Deshpande has been the champion of the concerns and struggles of women. She, in her works, very realistically depicts the various roles a woman plays in course of her life as a wife, a mother, a sister, a daughter, a daughter-in-law and so on. Her works can’t be called directly feminist since her works are not against man, in fact, her works portrays the dilemma of the new educated modern working women in the conventional Indian society. This research paper attempts to analyse the emancipating of women protagonist in Shashi Deshpande’s The Dark Holds No Terrors (1980), That Long Silence (1989), and The Binding Vine (2002), all depicts the women world in an authentic, realistic and credible manner. This article highlights the fact that it is not the circumstances that contribute to the negation of women’s rights; but the fact is that it is their women folk who polarize their dig at the emancipation of women. It also attempts at highlighting the fact that women are denied rights not only because of the circumstances but also because women themselves suppress other women and use men as instruments

    Get PDF
Hepatitis B virus (HBV) and hepatitis C virus (HCV) have mutagenic effects on somatic cells. HBV and HCV may be showing these mutagenic effects through its viral proteins or through integrating into host DNA. The aim of this study was to determine whether HBV and HCV have a genotoxic effect on the DNA of oral epithelial cells. A cohort of 145 samples have been collected from participants  from the date of  5 \ 1 \ 2020 to  15\9\ 2021. Among those samples are (40 healthy controls, HBV 38, 44 HCV, and HCC 23) to make cytogenetic evaluation by observing the micronucleus (MNi) test and comet assay. For each individual, 100 cells were analyzed for comet assay. Around 100 cells were observed and MNi were scored for each individual. Our results showed significantly higher frequencies of MNi in HBV, HCV, and HCC patients groups than in the control group. There was no difference in MNi scores among HBV, HCV, HCC patients groups, and showed a significantly difference of study groups compared to healthy carriers. In conclusion:  chronic HBV, HCV, HCC patients have genomic instability as affected as patients because of their levels of DNA damage and MNi

Taking a number or waiting in line is a thing of the past in public services, thanks to the proliferation of secure websites and mobile apps. More people throughout the globe are benefiting from e-government services, which have made their lives easier. People's willingness to use e-government services depends heavily on their level of awareness & trust in the system. In order to have a better understanding of the factors affecting trust in e-government services, empirical study is required. When it comes to e-government, Nellore residents have a lot of trust and this article’s studies show that trust affects their desire to utilize e-government services. In order to acquire information on several trust-related aspects, such as trust in government & technology, information quality & promises of privacy & security, we employed 150 questionnaires in total. Additionally, the TAM model’s two dimensions (“perceived usefulness and perceived ease-of-use”) are used to predict the likelihood of using e-government utility. According to the study’s findings, all of the factors included in the analysis were significant predictors of whether or not respondents intended to utilize e-government services. Despite this, confidence in e-government was predicted by all the hypothesized factors, except for privacy and security guarantee
