An economic ordering policy to control deteriorating medicinal products of uncertain demand with trade credit for healthcare industries

    Get PDF
In Healthcare industries, the most challenging problem for a decision maker is to develop an optimal inventory policy to estimate medicinal products with an uncertain scenario. The proposed model has been developed in such a way that it could provide an optimal policy for all relevant factors in the healthcare industry, such as uncertainty in demand, deterioration of products, preservation technology costs, shortages of products, inflation, and trade credit.  The price and supply levels of some medicinal products have a substantial impact on the rate of consumption. Therefore, in this study, the demand function is dependent on price as well as stock, and the retailer invests in preservation technologies to decrease the deterioration of products. This leads to increased product demand, which benefits both the retailer and the supplier. In an attempt to bring the model closer to a real world problem, the variation in cost parameters over time is included in the fuzzy. The cost minimization technique is defuzzified using the signed distance method. Furthermore, the model has been demonstrated and validated with suitable numerical examples, and a sensitivity analysis has been provided

The current study dealt with knowing the effect of fluoxetine on the process of implantation of the blastocyst in the uterus of pregnant rats, which occurs in the rat on the sixth day of pregnancy because the implantation of the blastocyst is a very critical period of pregnancy. 26 females and male rats were used. Female rats were divided into two groups, the control group, and included 4 rats injected with the physiological solution inside the peritoneal cavity from day zero of pregnancy. The treatment group of 12 females was divided into two groups, the first included 4 females who were injected from day 0 of pregnancy with fluoxetine 20 mg/kg of body weight, and the second also included 4 females who were injected from day 0 of pregnancy with 40 mg/kg of body weight, and the third also included 4 females. From day 0 of pregnancy, she was injected with fluoxetine 60 mg/kg body weight. The histological technique was applied to uterine sections on the 7th day of pregnancy, and samples were stained with hematoxylin-eosin stain.&nbsp

Gesture controlled interaction using hand pose model

    Get PDF
Direct use of the hand as an input device is a smart method for providing natural human-computer interaction (HCI). Hand pose estimation is an attractive topic for research in recent years. It has been widely used in virtual reality. The domain of computer vision-based human hand three-dimensional shape and hand pose estimation has fascinated momentous attention recently due to its key role in various applications, such as natural human-computer interactions. Hand pose estimation is difficult due to some challenges. First, we need to detect the human hand which is very changeable. Second, the high degree of freedom leads to difficulties in pose estimation. In this paper, we aim to build a hand pose estimation system that can correctly detect a human hand and estimate its pose which can be useful in the areas like industrial automation, sign language recognition etc. We integrated a hand pose model with a game named U3D with 6 different gestures. As the object detection methods perform poorly in the palm detection tasks we used 21 hand joints and increased accuracy to approximately 95.63%. We used the Blender 3D computer graphics software toolset for creating animation, visual effects, motion graphics, and interactive unity 3D games

The state civil apparatus (SCA) is a state asset. SCA must be maintained, and its competence is developed to provide quality public services according to the times. The classic problem faced by several local governments is that many SCA is less than optimal in carrying out their service tasks to the community, arrive late, and are less productive. This study aims to develop a digital measurement instrument about the effect of open selection, job satisfaction, transformational leadership, and work motivation on the performance (OSTMonP) of civil servants. Several steps of instrument development are determining evaluation components, determining evaluation aspects, instrument items, testing instrument items, analyzing instrument items, and determining final items—data collection through questionnaires and documentation. The subjects of this research are two experts who pick the validity and 45 respondents as SCA in the reliability test. The analytical technique instrument through content validation uses the Gregory formula. The instrument reliability test used the Cronbach Alfa formula. The development of OSTMonP resulted in 133 items with very high validity and very high-reliability categories. OSTMonP can support the measurement of public services through several relevant factors
