The female voice in Jane Eyre Novel

    Get PDF
Charlotte Bronte is considered as “one of the foremothers of contemporary women’s movement”. Charlotte wrote of simple ladies who were satisfied in their lives by the respect they received from themselves rather than from society. Charlotte Bronte’s Jane Eyre is one of the famous work of 19th century in which Bronte presented woman who rebelled against all the rules and traditions of her time in one hand, and destruction for the submissive and weak woman on the other hand. Though she was alone, weak, and outcast, yet she fought strongly to reach her purpose; to be independent and to force people to respect her for her dignity and self-esteem. Jane taught us whenever we were lost, hopeless in difficult situations; we should try to survive the life. For all women, the independence and equality as a human is the first task. Number of points were reflected and discussed in Bronte’s novel Jane Eyre. In this paper I try to shed the light upon these points

Background: RPL is a common early pregnancy complication that is characterized as three or more pregnancy losses occurring before the 20th week of gestation. RPL is a common early pregnancy complication that is characterized as three or more pregnancy losses occurring before the 20th week of gestation. Recurrent miscarriage (RM) is a common occurrence, affecting 15–25% of all pregnancies. The study's goal was to assess vitamin D, interleukin-17a, and interleukin-10 levels in women who had several miscarriages and investigate the relationship between biomarkers to determine the final outcome of pregnancy. Methods: A case control study that included three study groups; thirty five women with RPL, thirty non-aborted pregnant (NAP) women and twenty five apparently healthy women. Patients were selected from those attending Bint Al-Huda Teaching Hospital and Suq Al-Shuyukh General Hospital at Thi-Qar Province (Iraq) during the period between October 2021 and July 2022 after stringent application of the eligibility criteria. Serum samples was collected form each subjects and was evaluated for serum VD, IL-17A and IL-10 levels via enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Results: The results revealed that serum VD and IL-10 levels in the RPL group were significantly lower than in the healthy control group (HC)

The research dealt with the study of the requirements of trade movement in anbar governorate, as it dealt with the study of the border crossings, which number 4, which are the trebil port, the qaim port, the al-waleed port and the Arar border port. It activates the movement of foreign trade, and it was found through the research that the ports of the study area have a major role in the movement of trade, as it was found that the operating ports are the Trebil and Al-Qaim ports. As for the Al-Waleed port, it has been closed since 2015 as a result of the conditions that the governorate has been exposed to. As for the Arar border port, until recently Recently, it was seasonal, it was limited to organizing pilgrimage trips, but it was opened in 2021 for foreign trade, but it is still a weak movement. As for international roads, the governorate owns several international roads, which are Road No. 10, Road No. 11, and Road No. 12 Fazla through 160 Nukhaib. These roads connect the province with neighboring countries on the one hand, and the capital, Baghdad, and other Iraqi provinces on the other.&nbsp

This study aimed at identifying the most common sports injuries among footballers in the North of Jordan as well as the most important anatomical sites that are exposed to injury among footballers and their causes. The researcher used the descriptive approach due to its compatibility to the study nature. The study sample consisted of (134) footballers, who were chosen by using the purposive way, and the questionnaire was used as the way of collecting data. The results revealed that the most important anatomical sites that are exposed to injury among footballers in the North of Jordan are ankle joints, and the most common injuries among them are myorrhexis. The results revealed that the most common causes leading to sports injuries among footballers in the North of Jordan are related to lack of gradualism in increasing exercises loads. The researcher recommended the necessity of paying attention to distributing exercises loads in the appropriate way according to the age categories of footballers in the North of Jordan

Market innovations driving competitive advantage in MSMEs: An extensive literature review

    Get PDF
In the constantly changing business environment, Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) have to resort to various strategies to strive the competition. The diversity and complexity of the competitive markets necessitate the MSMEs to have a clear vision to achieve efficiency and flexibility. In several cases, MSMEs zero down to owning some kind of innovations. Globally, innovation has been categorised in four types, namely, ‘product, process, marketing and organizational’. Among these, the focus of this paper is on marketing innovation and how much literature supports its impact on attaining competitive advantage. This paper tries to broadly provide a holistic perspective on how impactful are marketing innovations in seeking competitive advantage through marketing capabilities based on extensive literature review. Significant research has been done in the fields of marketing practices, capabilities, newer trends and role of innovations in achieving competitive advantage. Marketing innovation has widely been defined as constituting modifications in product placement, promotion, pricing and packaging (Deshpandé, Farley, &Webster, 1993; Hurley & Hult, 1998; OECD, 2005). The discussion takes into account the imperative factor driving market innovations based on resource-based view i.e., market capability and studies its relation to the determinants of competitive advantage.&nbsp

Comparison of topical agents versus invasive agents in facial acne: An original research

    Get PDF
The purpose of this present research was to compare the application of topical agent and invasive agent for treatment of facial acne. A total of 124 patients with mild to moderate acne entered this prospective, single-blind study comparing topical (benzoyl peroxide 5%) with invasive treatment (microneedling). There were 60 female and 64 male subjects in the present research. Reductions in the mean number of inflamed and non-inflamed lesions were compared using Student's t-test, as were the mean grades for skin tolerability. The incidence of self reported adverse effects were compared using the x' test. A significant difference was noted in baseline assessment of facial erythema between the two groups (P<0.05), being greater in the microneedling group. Comparisons between the two groups showed that microneedling was significantly better than at one month (P<0.05), however benzoyl peroxide 5% was better at two months (P< 0.001), and three months (P<0.001). Microneedling was effective in removing the comedones with immediate effectiveness but the effects were not long lasting with possibility of scar formation when compared to benzoyl peroxide, who didn’t have relapses in the treatment and were cost effective as well

An insight of development and validation of bioanalytical method in the reference of anticancer drugs by using LC-MS/MS

    Get PDF
The bioanalytical analysis of anticancer agents established a more personalized treatment procedure. The importance of validating analytical procedures before they are put into normal usage is widely acknowledged. This novel approach has a lot of promise because it is quick, easy, and only requires a little amount of samples to get the accurate result. The goal of this mini review is to provide a comparative analysis of contemporary research on few anticancer agents and their methodology in reference to bioanalytical analysis. We provide practical approaches for determining extraction and clean up, precision and accuracy, selectivity and specificity, chromatographic analysis and its validation. We believe that the liquid chromatographic processes used in the bioanalysis of anticancer medicines, validation standards might have been applied in a variety of ways to counter the failure of an anticancer agent by increasing its therapeutic index approach
