Customer satisfaction in public and private sector banks: A case study of NCR
Indians banking sector is likely to face tough competition in the coming few years because many of the recent policy started by the Indian government start to take effect and new entrants also show to make their presence felt. It is possible to be a case of survival of the best, or in other words, the most successful. A bank’s ability to make profits in an increasingly competitive market will be based on the number, and quality of its investors, thus consumer satisfaction must continue to be a key area for all banks in the future. Past studies have proved that service quality in an example of consumer satisfaction This paper user the SERVQUAL model to show which of the five service quality dimensions of tangibility, reliability, responsiveness, assurance and empathy have an effect on consumer satisfaction in public sector and private banks
Mother’s coping strategies in caring for their children with leukemia in Al-Basrah Province/ Iraq
Background: Leukemia is a cancer of the white blood cells that affects people of all ages. In the spleen, bone marrow, and lymph tissue, immature WBCs (blast cells) proliferate at a rapid rate. The cells are aberrant and unable to combat infection efficiently. As a result of the large number of aberrant cells that grow and are released into the peripheral circulation, they tend to concentrate in bodily tissues and organs, especially when circulation is slow. Objectives: to assess coping strategies among mothers of children with leukemia in Al-Basrah province and find out the association between coping strategies and demographic characteristics. Methodology: A cross-sectional descriptive study consisting of (105) mothers who have children under eighteen years were selected in oncology & hematology clinic and leukemia ward (B) were interviewed at Al.Basrah children specialist hospital from 9 July 2021 to 20 October 2021. Result: the mostly of (89.5%) mother’s coping strategies of children with leukemia expressed moderate coping Conclusion: The study concluded that the overall assessment of mother’s coping strategies of children with leukemia is moderate copin
Immediate and short-term angiographic outcome of drug-coated balloon versus drug-eluting stent in treatment of small-vessel coronary artery disease
Objectives: To compare the immediate and short-term (6 months) angiographic and clinical outcomes in patients with de-novo small vessel disease (SVD) treated with drug-coated balloon (DCB) versus drug-eluting stent (DES) Methods: Sixty patients underwent percutaneous coronary revascularization of SVD (reference vessel diameter <3 mm). They were randomly assigned in a 1:1 ratio to be treated with either: SeQuent® please Neo paclitaxel-eluting DCB (30 patients) or Xience Expedition Evorolimus-eluting DES (30 patients). Angiographic (using Quantitative Coronary Angiogram) and clinical outcomes (MACE) were was assessed immediately and at 6 months follow up. Results: Patients with DES had better immediate angiographic vessel wall expansion and acute lumen gain in comparison to the DCB (1.79 ± 0.21 mm vs 1.64 ± 0.20 mm, p= 0.006). At 6 months follow up, late lumen loss was significantly less in DCB group compared to DES (0.28 ± 0.29 mm vs. 0.42 ± 0.20 mm, p=0.04). However, late minimal lumen diameter (1.81 ± 0.27mm vs. 1.83 ± 0.18 mm, p=0.881), late diameter stenosis (26.3 ± 11.5% vs. 27.7 ± 7.9%, p= 0.584), and net lumen gain (1.35 ± 0.18 mm vs. 1.37 ± 0.15 mm, p= 0.79) were similar between both groups.
Impact of hemoglobinopathies upon behaviors of adolescents
Background: Hemoglobinopathies are the most common life threatening, monogenic disorders in the world. The most common causes of hemoglobinopathies are sickle cell disease and thalassemia. Objectives: The purpose of this study is to investigate Impact of Hemoglobinopathies upon Behaviors of Adolescents in Karbala City/ Iraq. Methods: The cross-sectional study with quantitative approach was carried out on 200 participants who were attending hereditary blood disease center in Karbala teaching hospital for children. The questionnaire's dependability was established through a pilot study, and it was subsequently presented to experts for validation. The information was collected through the use of interview techniques and evaluated using descriptive and inferential statistical analysis. Results: Findings demonstrated that the (49%) of Hemoglobinopathies adolescents were poor health behavior, no-significant differences in health behavior with regards hemoglobinopathies adolescents gender, and Findings demonstrated there were significant differences health behavior with regards disease related relative among hemoglobinopathies adolescents (p<0.05). Conclusion: Age , gender, and disease relative have been influencing on quality of life and health behaviors of adolescent with hemoglobinopathie
Enabling effective location-based services for road networks using spatial mining
A co-location pattern represents a subset of Boolean spatial attributes whose instances are located in a close geographic space. These patterns are important for location-based services. There are many methods for co-location pattern mining where the distance between the events in close geographic proximity is calculated using a straight-line distance called Euclidean distance. Since most of the real-time tasks are bounded to the road networks, the results computed using Euclidean distance is not appropriate. So to compute co-location patterns involving network we define a model where initially a network model is defined and the neighbourhood is obtained by using network distance. By comparing this approach with the previous Euclidean approach, the results obtained for co-location patterns on a road network are accurate. Our experimental results for synthetic and real data show that the proposed approach is efficient and accurate for identifying co-location patterns involving network entities
Spectrophotometric determination of Mesalazine by a charge transfer complex
A simple, developed, fast and accurate spectrophotometric method to determination Mesalazine (MES) in its pure form and pharmaceutical preparation (Pentasa). This method was based on the formation of a charge transfer complex between MES and the Iodine (IOD) reagent to give a purple color product that gives its highest absorption at the wavelength of 514 nm. The best conditions for complex formation were found (time, temperature, optimal reagent concentration and pH). The linearity of the method for the complex consisting ranged from 5-45 µg/ml, the Sandell's index was 0.03278 µg/cm2, the molar absorption coefficient was 4670.6175 L/mol.cm and the detection limit was 0.10245 µg /mL, the quantitative limit was 0.31045 µg/ml, the percent recovery range was Rec% between (103.145 - 97.311 ) % and the relative standard deviation range RSD% between (0.128 - 0.263) %. It was found that the method is accurate , precision and has been successfully applied to determinate MES in its pharmaceutical preparation, in direct methods and in multi standard additions
Evaluation of folate levels in patients of lung carcinoma
Introduction: Lung cancer is the leading cause of cancer death globally. It is the malignant lung tumor with numerous histological variants. Due to the increasing number of tobacco smoking it is the major risk factor for lung cancer. Two main types of Lung cancer are Non-Small cell lung carcinoma (NSCLC) and Small cell lung carcinoma (SCLC). Folate is a water-soluble natural form of vitamin B9. It plays important role in homocysteine metabolism. Its decreased level may be associated with various cancers as is linked with altered DNA methylation and synthesis, and disruption of DNA repair activities. Aims: The present study was planned to evaluate the Serum Folate levels in patients diagnosed with lung carcinoma and to explore the association of increased serum folate levels with lung carcinoma patients. Materials & Methods: Fifty patients diagnosed for lung carcinoma were enrolled according to the inclusion criteria for the study. Fifty age and sex matched healthy individuals constituted the control group. Serum folate levels were estimated for all enrolled subjects. Results obtained were compared statistically among the lung carcinoma and healthy control groups. Results: Age of the study group and control group were comparable
Friction stir welding of dissimilar aluminum alloys AA7075 to AA2014: Optimization of process parameters using Taguchi technique
The joining of dissimilar Al-Cu alloy AA2014-T651 and Al-Zn alloy AA7075-T651 plates was carried out using friction stir welding (FSW) technique and the process parameters were optimized using Taguchi L9 orthogonal design of experiments. The rotational speed, transverse speed, and axial load were the parameters taken into consideration. The optimum process parameters were determined with reference to tensile strength of the joint. The predicted optimal value of tensile strength was confirmed by conducting the confirmation run using optimum parameters. This study shows that defect free, high efficiency welded joints can be produced using a wide range of process parameters and recommends parameters for producing best joint tensile properties. Analysis of variance showed that the axial load is the most dominant factor in deciding the joint soundness while rotational speed and welding speed also played significant roles
