Effectiveness of using online surveillance in reporting healthcare-associated infections
The aim of this study was to investigate the feasibility of using online surveillance form in reporting healthcare associated infections. This research is a quantitative research with a pre-experimental one group pre-test – post-test design method. The intervention given is giving the form manually and giving the form online. Respondents in this study were Infection Prevention and Control Link Nurses in the inpatient, intensive, and operating rooms at the Bali Mandara General Hospital with a total of 37 nurses. Data collection was carried out from January 2020 to December 2021 using the healthcare associated infections reporting form developed by the hospital infection control team. Data were analysed using paired T-test with 95% confidence level. Phlebitis reported significantly increase after the application of online surveillance form. The nurses’ compliance on filling the form both device-related and surgical site infection surveillance as the enactment of online form is 100%, with on time reporting increasing from 73,2% to 98,8%. Nurses assume that the accessible and simplicity of the online forms encourage them to fill the forms completely. Delays in reporting surveillance still occur and need encouragement from supervisor to improve compliance
The relationship between history of caesarean deliveries with placenta previa: A meta-analysis
Placenta previa is known as one of the most feared adverse maternal and fetal-neonatal complications in obstetrics. It has been reported that history of caesarean deliveries was associated with increased risks of placenta praevia. This study aimed to investigate the association between alcohol consumption during pregnancy with placenta previa and abruptio placenta. The PubMed databases were systematically reviewed, with the period of articles published between 2000 until 2022. Statistical analysis was carried out by Review Manager 5.3 (RevMan 5.3). The databases search yielded 228 studies and 14 of them matched eligibility criteria. The results of this meta-analysis suggest that. Mothers with history or previous of caesarean delivery had higher risk to develop plasenta previa compared with mothers who had a normal or vaginal deliveries (Pooled OR= 2.08; 95%CI: 1.73–2.51). this result was statistically significant

The variable were considered as flexibility for this study and it was measured by using sit and reach test. The data were collected before and immediately after the training protocol. The collected data were analyzed statistically by using analysis of covariance (ANCOVA). The level of confidence was fixed at 0.05 in all aspects
Magnetic resonance imaging of benign prostatic hyperplasia patients: A retrospective study
The present study was conducted for assessing Magnetic resonance imaging findings of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) patients. The present study was conducted for assessing Magnetic resonance imaging findings of benign prostatic hyperplasia patients. Data of a total of 25 patients with BPH were enrolled. Complete demographic details of all the patients were evaluated. Wasserman NF et al classified BPH types on MRI as follows: type 0, an equal to or less than 25 cm3 prostate showing little or no zonal enlargement; type 1, bilateral TZ enlargement; type 2, retrourethral enlargement; type 3, bilateral TZ and retrourethral enlargement; type 4, solitary or multiple pedunculated enlargement; type 5, pedunculated with bilateral TZ and/or retrourethral enlargement; type 6, subtrigonal or ectopic enlargement; and type 7, other combinations of enlargements. All the details were recorded in Microsoft excel sheet and were assessed using SPSS software. Out of 25 patients, 28 percent and 24 percent of the patients were type 2 and type 4 according to classification as per MRI finding. 20 percent and 16 percent of the patients were type 3 and type 6, whereas 12 percent were type 5 according to classification as per MRI finding.
Laproscopic versus open ventral hernia repair
Background: Ventral hernia is second most common type of abdominal hernia after inguinal hernia. Treatment includes anatomical repair, meshplasty: onlay, sublay, preperitoneal etc. Evaluation of laparoscopic hernia repair has led to new benchmark for ventral hernia repair. This study aims to compare laparoscopic ventral hernia repair versus open repair. Methods: Total 30 patients were enrolled in this study who presented to Dhiraj hospital pipariya. Detailed history was taken and patient were randomly divided in to 2 groups. Results: There were 22 females and 8 male patients in this study. Mean age was 42.4 years. Mean operative time in laparoscopic surgery was 80.25± 2.43 minutes versus 60±3.44 minutes. Mean hospital stay in laparoscopic was 3.5 days versus 5.5 days in open hernia repair. Conclusion: Laparoscopic meshplasty is better than open repair in terms of early recovery, less pain, minimal scar, early return to work

The results revealed that Fibulin-1 level are not significant in difference (p>0.05) in patients and control groups at different ages. The results also revealed that there is a highly significant increase (p≤ 0.05) of Fibulin-1 level in both males and females in patients in comparing with control groups. The results also show that Fibulin-1 level show a significant increase (P≤ 0.05) in patients in all groups normal weight, over weight and obese weight in comparing with control groups.
Evaluation of surface treatments by self glaze, over glaze and a polishing agent on the porcelain surface modified with diamond rotary instrument-an in vitro study
The purpose of this study is to evaluate effect of a) Self glaze b) Over glaze and c) Polishing on porcelain surface which is subjected to grinding with a diamond rotary instrument. To test this theory 40 ceramic fused to metal disc samples were fabricated. The ceramic material used was Ivoclar Dsign. The discs were of 10mm X 3mm of which 2mm is metal substructure and 1mm is of porcelain. The specimens were divided into four groups of 10 samples each. The first group was left as fired or unglazed. The remaining three groups were subjected to surface modification with sintered diamond bur at 15000 rpm per minute with even pressure. Each of the three groups was treated with diamond polishing paste, self glaze and overglaze respectively. The surface of all the four groups were evaluated under optical microscope and scanning electron microscope. Optical microscope observation revealed that Group-I (as fired) had the surface of the specimens appearing to be pitted, rough with irregularities and there was no evidence of surface cracks. Group II (polished with diamond bur) had surface appeared to be very smooth
